  1. The parts are already here Let's built ! more pics when it will be brickbuilt of course.. This is just a trailer the only question for me is between class 6 or 7
  2. So, I built like 4 castles before I settled on one I was really happy with (Blackwail Castle), but considering the time invested, I did want to at least share a few of them over the next few days, as they are never likely to be built. This one - which I never named, so it is simply called 'New Castle' - was based in passing on Berwartstein Castle in Germany (at least the upper portion). In the end, I decided it was too square and way too big - 5,700 pieces without a base. On the upside, it featured a lot of interior details - a full chapel (with Christ in effigy on the cross), a physicians room, wizard's room, kitchen, King's room, servant's room, and council chambers (at the top of the tower). If I ever win the lottery, it would make a nice opposing castle for Blackwail, but otherwise, it's a dead project. The other castle I wanted to share was intended to be the corner piece of a 4-part fortified manor house (in order to keep the price down, I hoped to break a full castle into pieces - what a larf :P). However, it was a bit too derivative of another MOC I had seen (it's different, just not different enough)... though I felt like the exterior scenery was some of the best I have done. These are the Pacific Northwest trees I referenced in the Blackwail thread.

    [MOC] Blackwail Castle

Situated on the fringes of the Great Flenshly Marsh, a saltwater tidal basin on Pembermile Sound famous for its thick fogs, looms the seat of the Duchy of Tiverton: Blackwail Castle. The fortress can attribute its somewhat grim name to the calls of a local seabird, whose mournful notes are often mistaken by unfamiliar travelers for the wail of a banshee (or so people tell themselves. It is Lego - you never know :P). Lacking a curtain wall, the enlarged keep nevertheless boasts fairly strong natural water defenses, and - probably owing more to its remote location than any other factor - has never been taken in a siege. The castle alone is approximately 3,800 pieces, while the base adds up another 1,300 or so - an exchange I'm not *fully* convinced it worth it (though I do like the marshy part). Exterior shots. The single tower contains a bell and functions (on the top level only) as the access point for the roof. If constructed, I would also add a 4-pole-supported cloth sun-screen to cover a portion of the roof area, but as the 4 beams would just look naked in LDD, I left them out. There's a small fishing/high tide-usable pier to give the marsh some context. As an aside, I have much grander Pacific-Northwest style pine trees that I had built intending to use with this structure, but they wound up looming over the castle (accurately; most of it is only 3 stories tall, after all), and I felt like it reduced the overall impact, so I swapped them out for dinkier specimens: As usual, even though the whole facing-left side of structure swings out dollhouse-style, I had an immense amount of trouble making bluerender cooperate with lighting. Therefore, after a single gloomy photo, I just took screenshots directly from LDD. The result is less dramatic, but at least shows off details. The first (and second) floor features a checkerboard tile base, two suits of armor, three candelabras, a raised walkway, fireplace, kitchen (not pictured, but it's below the white 'house' wing), tapestries hanging from the ceiling, grandfather clock, a spiral staircase reaching the third floor, a feasting table, and a requisite throne. The Tudor-style second-floor wing is home to the castle's resident wizard. The roof here is designed to lift out with very minor parts removal. I tried to make the space look somewhat cluttered, but the effect is lost in this screenshot, since you can hardly see the bed or the book shelf. The front of the top floor isn't really intended to be accessible, but would only require removal of a portion of the roof to get at, so I went ahead and did a (very basic) interior. This is the servants'/guards' quarters, with two bunk beds, a book shelf, and some storage. 'Fun'-unfun (for me) fact - I am so colorblind that LDD's reddish brown looks green to me the entire time I am building a model. Finally, we have the King's (or, in this case, Duchess') chamber/solar (with walk-in closet!). The room features a fireplace, English settee, canopy bed, larger bookcase, and desk (which you can't really see, but is located in the swing out). A kitten has bitten off more than it can chew by cornering a large, black rat in the closet space. I don't much like cats, but I hate rodents. Kill 'em good, Mr. Mittens. And that's pretty much it. As is typical, it is probably too grand a design for me to ever build, but I am at least finally satisfied with the end-product (I've built like 3 other castles since I last posted here that I didn't bother putting up).
  4. After a successful voyage, and some quite lucrative trading, Captain Roderick Graves of the Lenore makes good on a promise to buy his officers a round of drinks in the first tavern they find.
  5. Larsk was trained as a scribe as a kid, who soon found he had a talent of faking handwriting, tax stamps and signatures. He traveled to Bastion as a young man, and now moved on to Tortuga. Sometimes he works out of his home in town forging letters and documents, but most of the time he comes on to ships, usually of sea rats, to paint stamps. But now he found himself on a Oleon merchant, painting over Corrington stamps on liquor barrels to make Eslandonian stamps, while the Captain is bribing an Eslandonian official. The bosun is making sure the official thought the bribe to be sufficient. He'd better hurry up and keep his mouth shut, the bosun was looking far to eager to make his knife to use. Can I register Larsk as a small artisan in Tortuga? if so is this question on the webform "Is this build able to be licensed as a land-based property?" a yes or a no? I felt the need to produce something to celebrate my brief revival in Bobs, and the sudden departure again :O, (of to work, so back on pause) It's just an afternoon build in LDD but I tried to create a scene, in LDD it becomes very static fast in my experience. posing props and figs is hard on the computer. but the unlimited supply of bricks is an bonus. Bart
  6. I'm happy to say this is my 10th post on the forums! To celebrate, I have an MM2 LDD pack! This pack contains John Doe, Noob, and a Skeleton! (electrocution effect) Please note this is not part of my Gear Pack series. Please credit me when you use this! https://www.mediafire.com/file/canvd8ur74sbiod/LegoMM2.lxf (No image, sorry!)
  7. Gotta start off on Eurobricks with something that, well, explains the cryptic profile name, right? Let's see if this helps. No one's really sure who or what Sepulchure is, but some have witnessed The Emissary of Sepulchure - a figure that traverses through lands in posthumous silence and only seen from afar, even though numerous attempts have been made to close the distance. Its causes and destinations are unknown to any man dead or alive, and for one reason or another no one's willing to speculate either. Although some say that the crystal crowning the Emissary's staff reflects the dark side of the world... Here are some of the few sightings of the mysterious figure ever recorded. Thanks for your attention, folks!

    Apartment Block "Blue Whale"

This is an apartment block that students live in. I walk by it frequently and had a rush of inspiration to create a model of it. See more pictures at Flickr. Thanks for looking!
  9. The younger sister of the Gargoyle is ready to sail Here comes the Eagle : C&C welcome, will be licenced as a class 2 ship
  10. I've been working on building 6-wide trucks in LDD since rediscovered the joy of LEGO again, but I'm rapidly running out of patience for the limitations of that scale (namely, you can have nice looking wheels or structural stability, but not both) so I thought I'd turn to the old Model Team sets for inspiration instead. Lots easier to build 12 or 14-wide, right? Except there's a major snag in that none of the old classic Model Team sets are buildable in LDD due to using the old Technic Plates with rounded ends and holes in them instead of the Technic Half Beams, and all the MOCs I can find instructions for are radio controlled, which I'm not all that interested in and which are a pain in the neck to build in LDD. I'm satisfied with a nice display piece which I can modify to show various truck configurations. Can anyone point me in the direction of a nice and easy MOC or official LEGO set I can use to as a base for some mostly static builds in 12-14 wide using the Model Team wheels, so I can get some idea of how steering and stuff fits together now?
  11. Hey everyone! I'm gonna start doing Roblox Gear packs in LDD! They're basically players with gears. Gear Pack 1 includes Jetpack and Stravant's Lightning! If you would like to use them, please credit me first. Comment what 2 gears I should build next! Oops! Here's the file! http://www.mediafire.com/file/bk0tcceu2un0dbk/RobloxGearPack1.lxf Here's the Google Plus post + Image!
  12. I'm trying to build an old steam ship as a model, first in LDD to see if its plausible and to estimate the required parts. But I've run in to a tight spot. the engines (2) where triple expansion steam. 3 cylinders. 2,5m long 2m high scaling to 1:40 via http://studs.sariel.pl/ gives me approximately 8 studs long. Only I'm stuck at 10 (11), which wouldn't be a problem you'd think, but the engine room where they are going into is small and there is other equipment to place as well (or I'd like too) So if there is anyone who has an idea how to downsize what I've got length wise. without losing the ability of the pistons going up and down when the crank rotates. best regards, Bart
  13. I made a red and white mech in LDD! Credit for the mech frame goes to Chris Roach. MECH FRAME: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/326294 Hold on a sec, can't upload it. Google Plus post: :3
  14. In the new setttlement of Tortuga, thanks to the smooth climate, the useful facilities are growing faster than the buildings ! Here comes the Brewery of Tortuga... a mandatory factory ! Without the roof for having a better look inside : will be licenced as a medium factory for Tortuga
  15. Hey everyone, The people who know me know that I do always stuff with Lego trains. While I'm designing a fully automated container terminal, I want to upload some non-train related animated episodes. Since some of the scenes will take place on the surface of Mars, I need to build a Martian surface display. But I lack time and eye for detail so I came up with the idea of making an LDD design contest of it. If you are interested in participating, have a look at the video below!

    [LDD][MOC] The Tough Barge

Hello, Very shortly I thought you might want to check out this virtual build I made for an entry to recent rebrick contest called Freighter Wars. I did not have much time to spend on this and I admitt humbly that the internal structure could use more than just slight improvements. Since I am actually really happy with how it turned out, I may end up re-visiting this and improving its guts to meet my good standards :) You can click on the picture and browse couple more images in my Flickr gallery. If from whatever reason you want to browse the images less conveniently and maybe give me a warm heart like, visit my entry HERE. :D Thanks to Eurobricks member Umbra-Manis for couple of these renders (the fancier three of total five, I am sure you can tell) whcih he made for me in the night, literally couple hours before the contest deadline. Kudos! The design inspired by this badass model built a good decade ago by Mark Kelso, one of the members of my personal hall of awe. The idea is that this Tough Barge (for a lack of better name ideas) was built from a wrecks of Correllian YT-1300 Light Freig... ah scrap it - Millennium Falcon, and another correllian ship. Few welds here and there and this is the result. Hope you like it... nothing to fancy, but I hope not to bad either :D
  17. Hi Over the course of the past month I've been learning the basics of LDD, LeoCad and Blender to make a Minifig portrait of friends. My first attempt turned out pretty good, so I've decided to do some more for other friends and family. I use LDD to make the models, then export to LeoCad to tweak and then export to Blender to render the final image. The first couple have gone okay, but I've hit a problem that I can't get around. I've searched the web and mostly this forum but as a novice I may be looking in the wrong place. Exporting from LDD there are some pieces that are not in the LeoCad library. I've tracked down some pieces and added to my library successfully, but it seems some head and torsos are missing and I can't find them anywhere. (See image below) How can I get around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  18. Hello everyone !!! So after some on and off work designing this thing both IRL & LDD i am very proud and happy to show you my Batmobile as it appears on Batman V Superman. I tried to make this model as accurate as i could and the recent images, game DLC´s & toys helped a lot,not only that but the model is very stable and i know this is a small detail that´s pretty much standard with other Batmobiles but... i managed to make the wheels roll with all the armor on it !!! :D So let´s start with the front, definetly a challenging part to do as at first i had no idea how to pull off the shapes & angles, not only that but belive it or not i had trouble doing the turret Things got difficult on the sides, as the actual car has a lot of angles and shapes that are almost impossible to make a 100 % acurate representation on this scale.... however i think i did a fairly decent job doing those The back was fairly simple to do... it took me a while to find a correct size of tires but once i did everything went smoothly.... BTW Credit to JANGBRICKS for the idea of using that motor piece for the Turbine/engine/exaust pipe... So that´s pretty much it guys i hope you like this build as much as i do and if you do want to build this yourself here´s a link were you can buy the instructions : http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/222084491318? Happy building !! -Prime

  20. Hi, hope this is the right place to ask this question. I'm trying to build a small cone-shaped structure that changes diameter from 5 studs down to 2 studs with a height of only 6 plates. Stacking 6942 "lamp shade" on top of 15395 "dome 2x2 inverted with one stud" looks like it should fit, but LDD refuses to allow this connection. I even tried adding 1x1 plates as a scaffold. An exploded view of the assembly is this: I don't own either of these parts, so could someone tell me - is this really an impossible connection, or can it be done in real life?
  21. In the street of Weelond, the Oktober Fest is going full swing A fire breather is doing the show ! reverse view : C&C welcome, it's only a LDD built for I have not very much time with many builts and many homeworks (plumbing, painting) that are in progress. Could be licenced as a small street tavern
  22. UPDATE : 6th October 2017 The building instructions (PDF + partslist.xls) of my ITT are finally available! The rebrickable link is not valid yet (I'll do an update for that) but you can go to my website (https://bricksfeeder.wixsite.com/bricksfeeder/starwars-1). To help me a little to continue this passion, these instructions are paying (10 euros by paypal). Link to Rebrickable : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-10166/BricksFeeder/itt-imperial-troop-transport-minifigs-scale/#comments My final MOC has 1154 pieces and has light f you want. https://youtu.be/2S4VYgInwfM I hope you enjoy! :) Keep on building! ----------------------------------------------- Hello from France Guys ! I'm Bricks Feeder and it's my first topic on Eurobricks! :) I show you my third version of my MOC of the ITT (Imperial Troop Transport) seen on the SW Rebels series. This MOC has the dimensions of the mining's scale with 1174 bricks. => Almost 21cm (L) x 10,5 cm (W) x 9cm (H) I'm trying to build a "cool" Interior of the cockpit. I'll continue to work on it. I am not satisfied yet ! I'll show you my advance and if I can, the real one! If you have some ideas or constructive criticisms, share with me please! I want to upgrade my skills! :) Enjoy and have a nice day! P.S. : If you have the time... Check my You Tube Channel! ;) My previous version can be seen in this video.
  23. Hi there, inhabitants of New Terra, pretty late, but here goes, presenting my first FB this month: The 'Royal Shipyards' in Breshaun With the ever growing demand for new ships in the waters of New Terra the naval yards in mainland Oleon alone cannot keep up. So some time ago already the 'Office Royal de la Marine' had decided to set up a branch of the 'Royal Shipyards' in the city of Breshaun, providing high-quality shipbuilding and ship maintenance expertise on-site. The compound is flourishing. It's constantly growing in size, and new buildings and installations are being added regularly, obvious proof of Oleon's expanding presence on the waves, as well as Breshaun's increasing importance for the Empire. Last month I presented a small peripheral facility to you, this time we're visiting the entrance of the 'Royal Shipyards' main compound situated directly at the mouth of Breshaun's harbor. about: Not much to say about it, could have been larger, but this month was pretty crowded. All is buildable, I'm kind of cool with the way the gate's arch turned out, the rest is rather regular business. The 'Crown-Wheel-Anchor'TM is the registered emblem of the 'Royal Shipyards' The architectural style is influenced by buildings I saw in Rochefort, France. It was a fun build, experienting with two colored walls and a SNOTed ceiling, but making the rider hold that letter was a real annoying job More of this shipyard is likely to follow. Thanks for watching, C&C as always very welcome! Vive le Roi!
  24. (Picture links to Flickr) A concept for a Nexo Knights pack for Lego Dimensions. It includes Clay Moorington and a Rumble Blade that can be rebuilt into two other vehicles. I've done a fair number of Dimensions concepts largely because I adore the little microscale builds, but I'm still learning! This is the first model I've successfully designed two alt-builds for, and a big part of that was figuring out what sorts of parts are conducive to that. In this case, lots of SNOT parts were a must, 3x1 plates were preferred over even-numbered lengths due to the odd-numbered width of all three models, and I ended up using the CMF weightlifter's weights as wheels due to needing them to be bounded on both sides (for the bikes) and wanting to be able to use them as building elements themselves. I wasn't really conceptualizing this from a gameplay perspective. Presumably, the first two would be ground-based vehicles (possibly with flight capabilities as well) while the third would be purely a flying vehicle. The second vehicle could probably use tow bars as well. Beyond that, I'm not sure how their capabilities would differ specifically. Clay, for his part, could probably reflect lasers with his sword and maybe could have some tech-related skills as well (such as using techno-panels like Benny or maybe even using his Squirebot as a drone like Doc Brown or Cybermen). In future models, it might be worth my while to consider adding parts to the base which can be used for elemental effects, like the 1x1 "electric" studs in the Delorean model from the Back to the Future level pack. As I said earlier, I'm still learning! Obviously, there are some parts that could not be placed due to the limitations of LDD. The minifigure is almost entirely bare, but would include Clay's normal helmet, armor, sword, and shield in an actual product. I'm not actually sure what Nexo Power the shield would have—maybe a blue one with Clay's falcon emblem (possibly functional in the app, possibly just ornamental). If all the parts were included, the pack as a whole would be 47 parts, which is a fairly typical piece count for a Dimensions pack. Comments? Questions? Feedback is much appreciated!
  25. Hi, I have a weird problem after I installed LDD 4.3.10 in a new Lenovo T470s laptop running Windows 10 Creator's update. LDD will run without any kinds of crash, and display the models just right and with full performance, but the UI is lacking the blue toolbar on the top (the one with the Open and Save buttons). It just shows a blue thick line instead. I have an old Lenovo laptop running the same resolution than this new one, and everything looks fine there. It is also running Windows 10 Creator's update. Just to be sure, I uninstalled LDD and reinstalled using the same file that I downloaded on the new laptop. And everything still looks fine. I also checked which drivers I got installed, and I got all latest Lenovo recommended updates, including graphics drivers. There is an additional problem also. The mouse cursor seems to have an offset. I mean, when you try to press on a UI button or checkbox, then the button gets highlighted only when the mouse is slightly below the button. This is really weird. Did someone encounter this problem already?
