    [MOC] Microscale Speedboat

Racing Speedboat microscale vignette. The "sea" part is made in a way that the hull of the speedboat seems submerged as in reality. It contains 235 pieces and throws a lot of water...I also made an alternative front end in parts designer that can be made if you chop the ball of a 4131 party hat and glue it to the cone and one with a 24482 spear that you can easily make if you dont like the front part to be only the 2x2x2 cone.Enjoy and comment if you like it. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=245825

[MOC] station 19 inspired fire station

Hello there, The city is growing. Because of this, I build this fire station building. If you know the TV-Series station 19, you may notice some parts of this TV fire station in the lego model, because I added some details and layouts from the station 19 and converted them to the lego fire station. I also did a speedbuild video of this building. Feel free to watch it. Below the video I also added some pictures of the fire station and also the description. The ground floor with the entrace hall. The workspace for the incoming emergeny calls in the right corner. A trophy showcase by the stairs and a tribute wall on the opposite. The Captains office and sleeping area on the left. From the machine hall you can also enter the equipment room. If you go upstairs, you will find the kitchen and dining area. A storage room right behind. A seperate relaxing room is also located on this floor. The upper floor is equipped with the locker room, a small toilet and the showers. A gym also find it´s place in this building. I waive a sleeping room, because I created this as a volunteer fire department. In case of emergency, the firefighters will come to the station. Only the captain will work in the building. Therefore, the sleeping room in the ground floor is needed. I hope you like the MOC Tell me, if you have ideas and suggestions.

    The city project keep growing

Hello there, after a short break, I can now show you the new update of my digital city project. This time i added the new book store to the city and expanded the roads. I also changed and added some details you told me. Therefore I changed the subway entrance to an emergency exit and added the road construction site. Feel free to watch the building video below. I´m happy if you do cause it would help my little channel to grow a bit :) Below the video I also posted the current pictures of the city. The city layout in the overview. The new book store on the right, with the expanded streets in front. The expansion. In the left, the changed emergeny exit for the subway. Also nice to see the dimensions of the road construction. The road construction in detail. From the left: The Light arrow, the generator and then the open part with pipes. In the mid the workers put there unused equipment and the dirt from the hole. I hope you enjoy the new added part of the city. Let me know if you do and tell me if there are points of improvement :)

    [MOC] Carlo Art Musee 2021

Dear all, here follows my latest MOC. Lately I do not have so much time to dedicate to Lego, so that I guess this would be the only moc for this year. There's a new baby in the family: Carlo. Therefore I had to dedicate this modular to him, of course! It's Carlo Art Musee for Rava Town. The building is 32x32 with three floors. It's an old building reminescent of some arabesque style. Lately converted to an art museum/gallery. The facade is based on symmetrical elements on the tewo sides, with columns and arches all around to give armony to the structure. On the top there'a small and elegant tower and decoration in marble all around the top. On the first floor we find the ticket office on the left and the entrance to the museum on the right. Below the arch there's a beautiful gate leading to the internal courtyard. On the back there is a small bar for the visitors of the muesum for some relax and a nice colonnade with some interesting pictures. The most beautiful pictures are in the main gallery at the firs floor. Everybody is free to make photos, no problem! Here some shots with the details and the inside of the floors. This painter above is looking for some inspiration from ancient mastery. The balcony at the first floor is blooming all around. Other details. Hope you like it! See you nex year! 8. Welcome to my Brick World and welcome to the City of Brickgate! A project from Germany... Since August 2020, I've been working on a large and, most importantly, realistic LEGO city whose progress you can follow several times a week on my YT Channel. The feedback of my community plays a big role Here I show you some current pictures of my work. There are more than 100,000 bricks on the table so far and there will be many more to come. Also extensions of the area are already planned. Big highlight is the station, which takes an area of 10 plates with 48x48 studs each, is completely modular and is built on three levels. In addition, there is also the old city wall and an old town is also planned... In addition, the entire project will also be gradually illuminated. You can also visit YT and leave a subscription, if you always want to see the latest from Brickgate and Brick World! City Tour from May 2021: Current pictures from today:
  9. Hi everyone! I´m happy that I can present my newest creation! It´s the next piece of my minifig scaled RC collection. This time I decided to build a Flixbus. After Flixbus bought the rivalry Eurolines, it became maybe the cheapest way for poor students from Hungary (or not only from Hungary) to travel across Europe. At least for me it was the perfect method at that time! Hope you like it! Unfortunately the last time I travelled somewhere by a Flixbus was in August 2019. But hopefully it will change in the near future! Flixbus came often in the middle of the night, just as the Knight Bus did in Harry Potter. That´s why it stands on the destination screen Before you start reading about the boring technical facts and irritating things during the building period, please watch the video! It took approx 4 months long to build the bus. It´s not the first tiny RC I build. Despite of it I can´t say it didn´t challenge me. Yes, I´m speaking about the lettering and arrows on the sides. Maybe you still remember of the Milka Truck. That lettering has only vertical or horizontal building techniques. That´s why it was possible to do the lettering on each side only 1 stud deep. It was important, because it allowed to put the battery box (the biggest and most inflexible element) between the two walls and staying with the width in 6 studs at the same time. But “FLIXBUS” is more difficult. It is also not always possible to have stud connections (for example letter X, or the diagonal arrows). In this case the letters have to have inside some bigger parts on them, which simply doesn’t allow them to fall out. It means it stays only a two-stud wide space in the middle. That’s enough for the technic chassis, but not for the batteries. And also not for the motors… So only the half of the lengths stayed for the functional parts. For the steering and propulsion I stole the method from the Milka truck (with vertical motors), where they´ve already proven, that they work really well. The only possible (long enough) space for the battery box was at the back. Fortunately right above the driven wheels. They need the weight on them to increase the friction between the tires and the street. Another positive feature is, that the Sbrick is small enough to be above the letters, so I didn´t have to make the whole bus longer. Another part of the challenge was to create the diagonal white lines on the front. There was almost nothing inside, which they could be attached to. The reason is, that the moving parts of the steering are there, so it´s simply impossible to put there any other parts without disablement of the steering. Other reason is, that the upside-down parts of the front have already used the space there. At the end I decided to use the rubber bands, without being irritated by the fact, that it´s possible to see them outside, too. The bus has three axles. The third one is again an axle with some kind of fake suspension. It is just hanging there and doesn´t hold anything, so in theory it can never happen, that the driven wheels leave the ground. Please notice the detail that there are brackets instead of plates on the top of the third mudguards. It creates a bit bigger space in the mudguard for the wheels with the fake suspension. It means, that the bus can win against bigger obstructions. All in all I really enjoyed working on the bus. Hope you like the result, too! Thanks for watching and reading! Build my own LEGO city

Hello LEGO city friends, I started my own LEGO city last Christmas and made a YouTube series out of it. It´s a city with a retro style, I use my old childhood sets from the 80´s. I am already 12 Episodes in and my city has grown a lot. There are also some story elements around my citizens'. Unfortunately it´s in German language but that shouldn´t stop you to come and visit. So please feel free to come by and watch some LEGO from a long long time ago. And here is the link to my channel:
  11. Here is my review on LEGO City 60301 Wildlife Rescue Off-roader: THE GOOD: New Animals! Lion, lion cub and the python are all excellent. Great savanna build, looks great too. Doesn't feel like 4+ sets. THE NOT SO GOOD: The off-roader is a bit too big if you compare to other Lego City vehicles. I bought this set purely for the lion but it turns out to be a pretty great 4+ set. The savanna setting build really exceeded my expectation, especially even from the back it looks very natural. In fact, this set is among those more complex 4+ builds. It looks good too. It is also great LEGO included not one but three new animals in a smaller set, and they are great. I really can't find anything to criticise in this set apart from the off-roader is a bit too big to my likings. Recommend this to everyone especially if you are looking for a Lego Lion.

Your ideas for future city buildings

Hello there, I´m about to expand the digital city and want you to have a part in the future planing. This is the current layout: The expansion will be on the right side, continuing the big long street. For this I need 2 new building right of the pub building. The first one will be build on a 16x32 baseplate. The second building will be a fire station. I´m not sure about the size of the fire station. Maybe I will be using 2 32x32 baseplates side by side. Now I need you for some Ideas. 1.: What do you want for the first (16x32) building? It should get the same height like the pub building. In the ground floor we can add another small store or public area. You can also tell me your favourite color which we can use for this building. 2.: Do you prefer a modern shaped fire station like one of this: Or an older one like this: I would be very happy if you write me your suggestions. If you have any other ideas for expanding the city you can also tell me. Thanks for your help

    City Update Nr.3

Hey there, this is the 3rd update of my digital city project. Because the streets where empty all the time, I started to bring some life into the city. I added traffic lights, street lamps, trash container, bicycle stands and other cool stuff. I also created some small stories on the street like the skateboarder who's racing through the city. Some of the impressions are shown on the pictures below the video. If you're interest in watching the update video feel free to watch it on YT: I hope you like the new addings. Let me know if there are other things I can add or improve.

    [MOC] Irish pub

Hello there, the city is growing and we need more buidlings. Because of this face, I created a new MOC, that will find it´s way straight up to the city. The house contains a pub in the first floor of the building. Above in the 2nd and 3rd floor, two similiar shapes of apartments are located. I will explain the details in the pictures below. If you wanna watch the speedbuild video from this MOC, youre free to click the following link: https://youtu.be/SyxF4JPqiog https://flic.kr/p/2m595Th The pub in the first floor, with a big bar, a lot of pictures on the walls and a small room for storing beer and stuff. https://flic.kr/p/2m51vsb The apartment in the second floor. With TV, sleeping room and a bathtube. https://flic.kr/p/2m559tJ The apartment in the third floor. Similar in shape with the other one but with different furniture and a shower instead of the bathtube. https://flic.kr/p/2m51vrK The whole building in overview. On the roof i planted an air condition. I raised up the entire building by one brick, so add the connectors for our city connecting system. I hope you like my creation. Let me know. Let me also know if there are points of improvement

    Another Lego city project?

Hey there, I know there are countless posts on Lego cities. So why would you need another one? Let me explain my Plan: I started building MOC´s in 2020 and I love it. In the past, I posted some of the MOC´s here in this forum, like the pizza restaurant and die bakery & barber building: Now I had the idea to build a completely digital lego city from the individual houses. I could build an american themed city with moc buildings and digitally replicated lego sets .And because you don't need space to build, you would be unlimited in size. Why I only build MOC´s digital: I have noticed that many people are enthusiastic about Lego and would also like to build entire landscapes or cities. But since lego has now become very expensive, this is no longer possible for everyone. In addition, a Lego city requires a lot of space, which many people do not have, for example, in small apartments. I want to show these people that you can live out the Lego passion and create great things even without much money and space. You only need a PC an your imagination. For my MOC´s I always use the Studio 2.0 software from Bricklink. Can you tell me, if this is a good idea? Please give me feedback and tell me if I have not considered something. If you like this idea, I can imagine to post here regularly about the progress and also record the whole thing in videos on Youtube.

    MOC: Bank

Hello all. I've just recently completed a new bank as its been over a decade since my last one https://www.flickr.com/photos/52656812@N04/5873042040/in/dateposted-public/ - hopefully it shows I've improved - at least in my photography skills! Its still of an art-deco style like the former but with some more geometric touches and a sharper finish. It was inspired by the Bank of Ireland building in Belfast which was built in the late 1920s and still stands today; I've also included an interior for the ground floor which is not based on any bank interior in particular as the material from that time is very hard to come by for a smaller bank. There is an elevator, patterned floor, teller booths and a relief on the wall to capture the period. As usual you can find them on my flickr stream here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/52656812@N04/ Regards!

    [MOC] Lidl Grocery Store

Hi everyone! What you can see on the pictures is the end of a story, which began in 2017. At that time I studied on a university in Hungary. All in all that was a horrible time, but it had also some advantages. One of them was, that in Hungary it is really easy to find a job as a student. The companies need always people, and of course the students need always money. That’s why there is a very good system there for finding a job or finding employees. In my current place in Austria, the marketplace for jobs is completely different. As far as I experienced, people don´t need so much money and companies also don´t really need employees. That´s strange… (Maybe it´s necessary to add, that these jobs I´m speaking about - in both countries -, are bad jobs, like cleaning, working on the fields, factory jobs, etc. So jobs you can calmly do parallel to the university and don´t need your whole brain capacity.) It doesn´t matter. Much more important is the story. Because of the facts above I could try during the school years more that 15 different workplaces. Including better ones, like being a guide in a very old monastery. And including Lidl. Actually Lidl was a better one, too! It was also interesting. So I decided to build an exact model of it. I started to build the model immediately, but after that a lot of things happened. I went to Germany for a year, after that I came to Austria, I always found something more interesting to build, etc. So the model was always at the background. But now, finally it became ready! Before I started working in Lidl I had to read the product placing strategy. This is something you never forget. That´s why the interior is completely detailed. Because of scale reasons it has not so many things in it, as a real store, but the different groups of products are exactly there, where they have to be. After the entrance there are chips and stuff like that, after them the fresh things, like bakery products and vegetables. At the back there is the non-food part and the refrigerators (mopro). On the way back to the cashdesks are the drinks for example. Notice the two different sizes of the pallets. The 3x4 stud variation is the Euro pallet, the other one which´ size is the half of the Euro pallet is the Düsseldorf pallet. It is also very important in Lidl. It was also said to me, that there are only shopping carts and no baskets, because the parents always allowed the kids to sit in the baskets. And it´s not hygienic. Well, the kids are sitting in the shopping carts as well. And not on the seat, actually in the cart. Another things you never forget are also on the model. For example a student, who is cleaning the floor with a pushbroom. In Lidl it is really taught you, ho you have to use the pushbroom. Let´s see what a customer doesn´t see. The warehouse and the offices. The machine near the garage door is for the empty paper boxes. It presses them, you put cables aroud them to keep it together and after that you can bring the package out on a pallet. That´s a cool thing. Which is not cool is that there are no place in the warehouse. If you want to bring out pallet “A”, you often have to bring out pallet “B”, “C” and “D” before. After that you can bring out pallet “A”. After that you have to bring back pallet “B”, “C” and “D”. After that you can start to fill the shelves from pallet “A”. That is also a mission impossible scene about it in the warehouse with a pallet jack and an employee. The most interesting thing outside is maybe the big Lidl sign. It contains more that 100 parts and is of course completely without glue and stickers! You can read the word “Lidl” on both sides. Another thing is the parking spot for disabled people, which I posted a bit earlier. Here you can find details about that. What I like on the building is the roof. I guess it turned out great with the angles. The different chimneys and the parts of the ventillation systems are also designed after the real ones. Hope you like the model! Thanks for watching and reading! You can find more MOCs from me on my Flickr page!

    [MOC] Levels of Coruscant

Welcome to Coruscant. It's a build of playsets that stack on top of each other for practical, space-sharing reasons. We will be going from the tip of the penthouse down to the base of the megastructure, far underneath the surface where the seedy Underworld lies. This vertical build has been tinkered with since 2015. It started with Padme's apartment which was meant to sit alongside Palpatine's Arrest - but then I made an Outlander club and felt it might be worthy to have both builds combined in some way, since those scenes flow together in AOTC. The Federal district (Jedi Temple, Sheev's office and the Senate Building) could be a part of this, but to the side. This area is for civilian life. The recent TCW episodes which took place in the Coruscant Underworld gave us more of a sense of what life down there is like for the poorer Coruscanti residents. It compelled me to complete the vertical build, celebrating the glory that is this ancient urban city-planet at the heart of the Star Wars galaxy. Ordinarily I'm not into using too much rainbow color, but this is supposed to be a cyberpunk city, allowing for lots of light and billboard images where possible. I have a couple of light bricks but unsure where to place them to best effect. There's a few trans pieces in place that need Aurebesh, although I am unsure how to get them in transparent sticker format. Anyone have suggestions for printing onto transparency? Let's look closer at each of the sections. At the top of the tower we have the elite tier, political-class lodgings. Padme's balcony is a place she and senator Jar-Jar can gaze out and enjoy the perpetual sky traffic. This build was originally bigger with another room for the bed and an action feature to blow the window out (so Obi-Wan can chase the worm-droid) but action features seems unrealistic as the tower isn't probably sturdy enough for that kind of play. I don't see many Senator Padme MOCs and I think it's amusing to recreate the scene where she packs to go back to Naboo in a huff. Anakin is missing from this build - his speeder would be parked at Sheev's office. I did have CW era Anakin+Padme posing, maybe that looks better? Here's how it was before: Below this penthouse is the parking area, as well as another lodging area for wealthy or connected Coruscanti. A couple of space dudes wait for a bus or a taxi. This is the practical part of the build, the one that allows Bounty Hunter Pursuit a place to sit on the shelf. I realize that the Aurebesh is inverted, it's an old PSD file I can't locate but I am in the process now of creating new artwork for billboards to include in this build later on. Is TLG ever going to give us another AOTC speeder chase? If so, a little part of the scene (like below) would be such a welcome addition. This red block is meant to represent the Uscru entertainment district of Coruscant. This nightclub is inspired by the Outlander Club of AOTC. The space above the bar is an area for private dancing (CW face Secura standing in for a pole dancer. Need some Oolas for this room). Outside we see a shady character selling death sticks quite fearlessly. Bane looks to be waiting to meet up with some roughs for a job. The back panel pops off for access to the bar and club area. Tried to maintain the light fixtures look from the CW series along the handrails. We're going down below the surface now to the Underworld. Here we'll see a number of lower-income apartments, there's a tunnel/sewer type passage between the buildings with some rats. This prevents space to build any interior areas, but it allows for a hand to reach in a grab the whole tower (minus the base) for moving. There's a holophone around the corner. Around the back there are colored signs waiting for Aurebesh, billboards etc. and an improved Bith face advertisement. This also makes a good location to stage Ahsoka/Ventress duels. The lowest level wasn't something I'd planned to build, but the Blacktron baseplate screamed Cyberpunk to me so I had to. I had a big bin of parts from taking apart an old Slave-1 and a few other kits that I didn't have display space for, and started assembling what ended up being the 'base level' of low-rent vendors, who live a hardscrabble life among criminal gangs, rust and destitution. There's a Hutt down here, not Jabba or Ziro, just a commoner of the depths who loves deals on creap fruit. There are four businesses and one private residence, and I strongly suspect at least one is a criminal front. I did pull apart my Police Gunship for part of this build, but the plan is to make a Coruscant police speeder at some point. For now, police cam droids will have to do for law enforcement. Check out the conduit worm under the rusted panel! Gross. Once again, front and back together without the speeders from the classic set 7133-1 parked in place. Coruscant is a tricky location to try and reproduce. I've been coming back to Eurobricks for years getting ideas and inspirations from builds around here... there are some fantastic creations, and although I'm missing some, I just want to shout out to some members who have provided inspiration with these terrific builds. [MOC] CORUSCANTBy EtelEnzos. I doubt TLG would try and make a Betrayal at Bespin like attempt at Courscant, but this in an incredible interior/exterior playset. The tall foyers really capture the atmosphere. [MOC] Coruscant Pursuit By o0ger This entry proves how important it is to place the Bounty Hunter Pursuit at the Outlander club location - it helps to give a context to the build instead of just 2 speeders. Coruscant By Gerechtigkeitsliga The amount of detail and the sheer size of this monster is staggering! Look at the gap in the building for the air traffic to flow through - it's incredible. [MOC] Coruscant Hi-Rise, by Finnmoses. This one stretches beyond the imagination. It is so incredibly huge and tall it is simply mind-boggling the level of detail and content in every scene. Truly this is a Coruscanti masterpiece to behold. I hope it's still being proudly displayed by Finnmoses.
  21. Hi everyone! It happened to me earlier as well, that I worked on a part of a MOC so much, as on the MOC. In such a case this part deserves an own picture! So here it is, the parking spot for disabled people. Downtowns are problematic places. At the city where I spent most of my time during the school years (Győr, Hungary), these spots were only signed by a road sign. But it was often not clear, which spot, or how many spots are actually for disabled people. And the downtown has in general too many sings with too many information on them. So it happened often, that people parked their cars not on purpose there. A few years ago the city decided to paint the whole spots blue to make it easier to realise them. It looks really cool! So I decided I recreate it with Lego bricks. I build the first version in 2018 I guess. I didn´t published it because it looked like a man sitting on a toilet and not on a wheelchair. A few month later I went back to the model and changed it a bit. A few month ago I could travel back to Hungary despite of the COVID-rules. And I took the BIG Brother picture. Hope you like it! The MOC in which it is will come a bit later! Thank for watching!

    [MOC] Pickup Truck Minifigure Scale

Hello there, this is my newest model of a pickup truck. The truck is 6 bricks wide so it fits to the old street baseplates and on MOC streets. I tried to build it in minifigure scale. For all those who wanna rebuild the model, you can watch the building video on YouTube. Feel free to check it out. Under the Video you can see some rendered pictures from the Truck. Build in Studio 2.0 The small 1x1 brackets in dark bluish grey are not official available. I recolored them only for the picture. In the building video, I used parts who are available.

[MOC] Barber & Bakery City Building

Hello there, after a short break I wanna present you my new MOC Building. This time I build 2 houses side by side on a 32x32 baseplate. In the first floor a small bakery and a barber find it´s place. The floor with the stairs to the upper floors is in between the two. In the second floor I placed an apartment and a small doctor´s office. In the top floor is another small apartment with a big roof terrace. Let me know, if you like the building or tell some points of improvement. If you like the pictures below, feel free to watch the building video on YouTube: The bakery with a big sales counter and 3 round bar tables. The floor upstairs in the mid with the yellow entrance. In the right building you can see the barber salon with the chairs and a counter in the mid. The doctors office on the right with a waiting room and the treatment room. The apartment is empty because the residents are moving. There are only a few moving boxes left in the apartment. The apartment in the top floor with a dining area, a kitchen, the bed in the corner and a small bathroom. Also on the top floor: The big rooftop terrace. You can see a lot of plants, outdoor furniture, a bbq grill and a raised garden bed.
