A year ago I posted the facade of the Stadsgehoorzaal (music hall) in Leiden, Netherlands. In my post I said: “In the future I hope to extend this building by making the concert room with a large orchestra. :-)”. So, hereby I show you the concert room as it really is. I put in all the minifigures I have (which isn’t enoung to fill the whole room). In a few weeks you can actually see this Lego music hall in de real Stadsgehoorzaal (Breestraat 60, Leiden). I’m very proud to have this Stadsgehoorzaal Moc in the real Stadsgehoorzaal 😊. Follow me: Instagram

I also want to compliment you. I really like all the details inside. Those are very cool to see. I also like all the ccharacters inside and outside which are displayed as a wall painting.

[MOC] A little ride in the parisian Streets
dutchmadebricks replied to jalemac34's topic in LEGO Town
Nice typical Paris street. I always like lego city mocs. I especially like the facades of all houses. Well done! -
[MOC] Amsterdam canal house: White house with round balcony
dutchmadebricks posted a topic in LEGO Town
My first building from Amsterdam. I chose it because it has a very nice round balcony. Of course, the building itself is also a beautiful building to recreate. Droogbak 4, Amsterdam Constructed: 1850 Follow me: Instagram -
Thank you all. Secretly I also find the building in Lego more beautiful than the building in real life :-). It is almost an ideal building to rebuild. I've been inside. That will be quite a project to get it just as beautiful as the facade. And indeed, the building is built in Neo-Renaissance architecture.

Hereby my gigantic facade of the Stadsgehoorzaal (music hall) in Leiden, the Netherlands. I really enjoyed it because there were many details in the facade to recreate. In the future I hope to extend this building by making the concert room with a large orchestra. :-) Follow me: Instagram

Thanks! Here is a closer look inside the dome. I think creating a dome in lego is always tuff to make. The other picture is a closer look to the arched window.

Watch the recreation of an old city gate to enter the city Leiden, Netherlands. It's called the Morspoort (Mors gate) dated from 1669. A few weeks ago I created the topic [MOC] Sweet red mill. After photo 4 I added this project to my lego city.
-
Thanks. I have to admit that it is not possible to turn the mill in a circle of 360 degrees (although technically it is possible). Because there is too much "landscape" such as water, fences and the vegetable garden it is not possible. In my lego world the landcape goes before practical issues

This moc is inspired by an old typical Dutch mill called Kikkermolen (frogmill). Dated from 1747. Always when I passes the mill on my bike I thought, what a sweet tiny beautiful red mill. Let's recreate it with bricks :-).

Hi all, when I was kid a played a lot with lego. For many years I'm a adult now and 3 years ago I found out that you can actually buy single bricks. I really didn't know that before (whaah). My imagination went sky high and exploding with all the posiblitities/ideas/creations I had in my mind since I was a kid. I really like creating moc's of historical buildings. This month the Colosseum is released. Very very cool set, but I rather made it myself :-). Very soon I want to share my historical city (which was inspired by buildings from Amsterdam and Leiden, Netherlands) which I made over the past 3 years. Below a sneak preview.
