  1. G'day. Today after a couple of hard lego nights Ive entered a competition on ReBrick for a design on a Mercedes truck in the year 2045. As to the comp rules I am allowed to display it after I have submitted it in the comp which I have done. Mercedes Hybrid 850. Using two fuel types to ensure day and night running. Water for Hydrogen gas to an inline turbo 6. Electric motor for main source of power for zero emissions. The truck will still be able to go off road on dirt (here in Australia) or ice but have a heavier payload and pulling more trailers. Extended cab with a flat floor for sleeping area/office where the steering wheel folds up and seats turn around for when in driver less driving mode. Using mag-lev tech from trains incorporated to freeways the truck becomes self propelled and lighter (switch on top of cab to turn on lights).Hud display only for a cleaner cab interior. When coupled to a trailer extra solar power is accessed by the solar panel on its roof. Extra charge is created by air driven ducted turbines under each side of the cab. A drone can be deployed for a birds eye view and assist remote driving. Mirrors replaced by cameras and an active large front grill that can shut off air flow when not needed. Double wishbone front suspension and disk brakes all round and gull wing doors. Battery on one side and the water tank on the other and rolling on anti puncture tires. Playable features- *Hog steering. *Push button gull wing doors. *Full suspension. *On off driving lights. *On off Mag-lev lights. *Detacheble trailer. 2. Greetings. I want to introduce you to my vision of the truck of the future, Year 2045, Mercedes Benz Anataros, Blue Energy. ( for ReBrick challenge) It’s all about The Concept of fully electrical vehicle, which uses only a Electrical motor. Truck also fills with energy by using brakes, The solar panels on the roof and by the pressure plates in the shock absorbers. In the under part of the mask behind the iron bars there is a turbine, which uses air to function which is really strong at 75 M/ph. The maximum speed for trucks would raise to 75 M/Ph. Because the trucks would be more safe. The shape of the cabin would be the same with the difference of it being remodeled for aerodynamic. You can see this because the front part of the cabin is no longer flat but it’s bent in the sides. The classic lights are no longer on the roof but are instead spread around the front of the mask. The interior is also remodeled one of the big differences is that the Steering wheels is no longer on the left but it’s now on the middle and there is only enough space for one driver. And also the cabin is no longer just a cabin it’s almost a real home it’s filled with a shower and a toilet and on the other side with a refrigerator and an oven. The bed is also changed since it’s positioned differently. The truck is in a 1:16 benchmark. The benchmarks are from Mb Actros, the last model. Xl drive motor is for drive, servo for steering. Full suspension, drives are made for maximum power. Outside: -Aerodynamic cabin. -Lights spread in front of the entire mask. (1 pcs pf light) -Solar panels on the top of the cabin. -Behind the cabin on one side it’s a battery and the other side it’s a water tank. -The motor is on the bottom of the cabin. The cabin can be raised. Interior: -Space for only 1 person -The truck does not have meters he has to write them on the glass (screen) -The truck has an autopilot function. -The chair can be moved to the left so he can pull out the bed. 3. Hi! Today i'd like to show you my version of mercedes-benz truck in 2045 Model was built for rebricks competition "Mercedes of the future" It was built by 1 month. The idea for the name "Karpaks" suggested to me by my brother which associates with strength. Functions: Remote control Opening doors with handles raising Fifth wheel rotating seats rollaway bed fake engine I'm realy happy with these photos. Thanks for watching
  4. Hey all, This is the crane I'm making for the TC8 competition, a Liebherr LTF 1045 truck mounted crane, mounted to an 8x4 Scania P380 chassis. The Liebherr LTF 1045 is a crane which is factory fitted to either an 8x4 MAN, Scania, Mercedes or Volvo chassis with the crane fitted on a Kenworth T800 in the USA. It has a lifting capability of 45 tonne and a 52m boom height when fully extended. My MOC is in scale 1/16.5 and will be fully RC. The crane's boom will be approximately 1.5 metres long when all two stages are fully extended. The RC functions are: Drive: one XL motor Steering: Servo motor Stabilizers folding/unfolding: M motor Stabilizers extending/retracting: M motor Superstructure rotation: M motor Boom elevation: L or XL motor depending on space Boom extension: L motor Hook raising/lowering: M motor Other functions: Stabilizers lowering/raising: Independently controlled using pneumatics Opening cab doors Tilting cab (probably) Straight six engine Full suspension Enough chat, time for some progress photos: Chassis with the stabilizers retracted And stabilizers extended and lowered A closeup of the stabilizer setup The main boom at its full length of 71 studs, with two stages going inside of it \ What I have of the first stage so far, not the actual design but just an indication of the extension length from just one of the stages. That is my progress so far and I am currently working on improving the stabilizer design because at the moment they are too high and bulky. I will start making better progress once I get the parts I need this weekend. I'll update this thread regularly with my progress as it comes along. As always feedback is appreciated, Cheers

    [MOC] Hookloader Truck

Hello everybody! I’d like to show you my hookloader. The red arm looks maybe a bit too plump but it is stable enough for children’s hands. Stability is as well the reason why it is just possible to load and unload containers but not tipping them - when I need a tipper truck, there is another one in the garage ;-) The colour scheme is inspired by one of Austrian’s most important companies for heavy transport and lifting technology http://www.felbermay...ndex.php?id=410 I built as well a trailer for the truck. As in real life it is possible to unload containers from the trailer with the hookloader. Mainly the truck is used to transport equipment for my cable crane and as well to supply the construction sites. Interested what you say! Regards, Mario
  6. From Thirdwigg.com For Immediate Release, May 22, 2045 The 2045 Mercedes Benz Athane prioritizes safety, sustainability, and versatility. The 2045 Athane is the most advanced and cost effective truck in our 150 years of truck building experience. As cities become denser and multiple transportation modes are becoming more prevalent, road safety for all road users must be paramount. The Athane’s ThemoCommLink (TCL), located on the right front and right rear bumpers, allow motorized vehicles to communicate to one another. The TCL also detects the heat signature of pedestrians and cyclists. Identification and communication with other users, keeps all road users safer. The driver is seated in the center and forward in the cab to increase vision. Retention of a human driver allows for relational interaction at the job site, and helps the technology make good decisions about varying road situations. The TCL Technology assists the driver so fewer errors are made. The front bumper shaping and full length wheel guards lowers the severity of crashes with non-motorized users should they occur. The Athane uses eight steerable wheels to improve weight distribution and increase city maneuverability. While many manufactures are switching to floatation and hover type drivetrains, this setup allows for unmatched braking control, and removes disruptive air currents to those walking and cycling close to the moving truck. The Athane’s Methane-Hybrid driveline continues Mercedes Benz’s prioritization of decreasing fossil fuel use. The Athane uses electric propulsion using energy stored in the batteries under the cab and bed. Battery charging is done by braking and by a small methane powered combustion engine behind the cab. Additionally, the Athane can be ordered with an induction charger under the cab to work with newly developed induction charging roadways being installed in many municipalities. Methane gas is clean burning, and a significant byproduct of the waste and recycling process currently in place with Octan Rubbish. A partnership with Octan Energy and Mercedes Benz has developed a standard way to reap, store, transport, and fuel the Athane’s regeneration engine using methane gas. Removable methane tanks are house behind the rear wheels, and in smaller tanks in the cab. Today’s logistics companies are searching for ways to improve versatility and lower cost. The Athane’s SmartStack systems allows for interchangeable bodies, cargos, and applications all with one common truck. The SmartStack system makes it easy to change the load in just minutes. The connection fits the international container standard. Many body work designers are applying this standard as well. In one afternoon, you can ship a container, deliver a load of concrete, and pull a fifth-wheel with the standard hitch. Welcome to the future. The 2045 Mercedes Benz Athane keeps all road users safer, decreases our harm on the planet, and supports all work tasks needed. Features: · 8 wheel steering · Sleeping bed · Aerodynamic cabin · In-cab Storage System · ThemoCommLink, front and rear · SmartStack System · Fifth-Wheel Hitch · Wheel Guards · Large/Low Bumper · Methane Tanks · Hybrid Motor · Induction Charger · Batteries · Passenger Jump Seat · Front and Rear Lighting · Video Mirrors on Each Side of the Steering Wheel · Visibility Focused Driver Placement Press Release Gallery Here.

    [MOC] CocaCola Transport Ship

This is the first MOC I'm posting here so bear with me. This is a CocaCola transport ship I built for my space layout. It has a cockpit, a storage area and two engines on either side. The back has an opening door to allow the case of cola bottles to be put in, It's built with some technic lift arms to give it a smooth open and close. I used the Coca Cola stickers from those 2002 Japanese football/studios promos, no fake decals or prints here! It's a fairly simple ship but it gets the job done as a cargo ship.
  8. If someone started, then i'll also will post here may entries (ar rebrick is down also ...) I created two entrys so far. Maybe will be third. All of them is with almost no functionality, mainly es exterior design models. Unmanned truck
  9. Hi all, I've seen a few days ago a rc truck based on 8041/42041, and I thought I'll post mine too. Same specs as usual, 2 buggy motors and rc unit. Light and fast. So, here's a red one: And some videos:
  10. Hi all! just want to show my new moc. only original lego pieces. trailer
  11. Hi! Today i'd like to show you my first moc on this forum I wanted to build sometching without remote control and with maximum number of functions Functions: -Openable doors and hood -"Hand of god" steering -sreading crane -boom extending -winch Two functions conected to gears box: rotating crane and two steps spreading outriggers The front grill was based on damjan's truck Thanks For wathing !
  12. Here is my work in progress entry for tc6. I just want to start by saying that I have recently resurrected my old technic collection and looking to get back into the hobby. I saw this contest, so ordered up some pf parts, and the fun began. All my sets are the old studded sets, so I hope this does not hurt my chances! Back when I did MOCs (20 years ago) similar models to this were my favorite, but I was never able to motorized till now! Functions: - 1 Servo Motor: Steering - 1 Large Motor: Rear Wheels - 1 Medium Motor: Dump Bed (small LA) - 1 Medium Motor: Switch Headlights On/Off (a wimpy function, but my kids love it) - 2 IR receivers as I do not have an s-brick. Other Features - Limited slip rear differential - Live rear axle suspension - Perpendicular front axle with steering - Steering wheel turns with servo motor - Hopefully more to come! Looking to add some doors, but not sure how to best do this using my old parts, which I am almost out of. Any suggestions on this would be welcome. Also, please share any improvements and or features I should add, as comments are welcome, especially since I have not done a MOC in many years so my techniques are probably out of date.
  13. I am working on some MODs for my 42043, so I build a copy of the front and rear axle of the Arocs and made a new chassis around them. In order to get a feeling for the correct proportions, I placed the 8258 cabine, front outrigger module and crane on this chassis and this is the result: Note that this is a mock-up, so none of the functions are connected to anything at the moment. What do you think, is this something worth pursuing? Should I focus on modding my 42043 or continue with this 8258 derivative? If so, what should its cargo be?
  14. Good day everybody on Eurobricks! Today I am proud to present my [TC7] entry - The Mayhem In normal mode it looks like a normal racing truck and you even can thieve an enforcers trailer and transport it to whatever you want. In battle mode it transforms into a rocket launch site and you can launch a missile from it onto the Enforcers Base. Also in normal mode you can defense yourself with the HBDS - Hidden Basic Defense System .It shoots two darts from under of one 5x11 panel. This model is mostly built from the 42008 because of the color scheme . My original idea was an Enforcers buggy which transforms into a F-22 which can fire missiles but unfortunately I didn't had all the necessary parts in white and black (even the grey didn't helped to me ) ,so the lego pieces decided everything for me When I was building this model I decided to use Mindstorms NXT ,but then there wasn't sufficient free space in the truck so the Power Functions started their work in this model. Now It has motorized rear wheels driving and fake v6 using an m-motor powered from an AA batter box and PW switch. Also it has LEDs in front powered from the same battery box. Also it has some nice details like: horns on the roof , steering wheel with detailed dashboard , a chainn in the rear , number plate... More photos are on: http://www.bricksafe.../LXF/the-mayhem Well it's better one video than 1000 words Music is free to use from: https://www.jamendo....76/dragon-fight Author is Gregoire Lourme. EDIT:I changed the transformation mechanism to enter the contest.
  15. G'day all. I"m all for the bandits. Sometime you need to haul a lot of stolen stuff like pursuit vehicles for scrapp'n and to provide help in the heat of a chase and battle. "Its a truck" you say, "there slow" you say well 'Lights out' is a little different and this is why. Normal truck Nothing special. HOG steering. Battle mode Fold down rear guards to protect wheels and for side swiping. Extending front chassis to reveal second supercharged methanol drinking V8. You can never have to many V8's with that much power. Fold over half bonnet to become a car scoop. Fold down front grill for spikes. Gull wing doors with missiles on the ends. Pop out or off ( I'm undecided on which one ) battering ram fuel tanks....KaBoooooooom to the vehicle beside you. Possible sleeper box with fold over roof machine gun. Some sort of suspension. Trailer (may be) Push out rim spikes on second axle. Crane with harpoon gun, winch and claw grab. Saw blades, gotta have saw blades somewhere. Side car flipper arm/panel. Front compartment will house a massive jet engine. When in trouble the trailer will break off to reveal the jet turbine which stays on the back of the truck for an instant get away and fry the pursuit car behind you. I maybe a little too ambitious but the only thing stopping me is the hatted colors off all time Cursed black and clean White ( half of my Lego pieces). Here is what I have done so far. Lights Out by Jono Mckinlay, on Flickr
  16. Hi, is it sufficient level of battle-transformation? (if yes, please change the topic's title to tagged version for contest) This vehicle is my second try to make an 7th Technic contest entry (after SWINGER (Tatra 148 in enforcer mod) : http://www.eurobrick...77#entry2273945 ). All transformation functions are made by hand, as I tried to get closer to original MASK vehicles (no RC, no knobs, etc - however, I know that it was not big challenge to build). The only function of Technic playability is steering, HOG-knob is placed in the back of the vehicle, as it can not be placed on the roof. There are three battle modes - first one - missile launcher on both sides of the truck (this mode is useful, when the truck is pulling an trailer, picture no. 2.; second - picture 6 - tripple machine gun popped out of the hood of hot-rod, and remotely controlled turret gun on the back of the car. (and missiles aiming to the back; and finally third BM - rear wheels half-covered, weapons as the second mode - picture 6a This is not a final version and not final photos of this vehicle. [M-D04] MANTIS Blockade

Location: D04 - Terrial Minor Tags: MANTIS, piracy, vehicle Job: Driver Start Log: After a rather uneventful mission on C04, I got another more exciting assignment: capturing some Kawashita vehicles and equipment. I even had the help of the drones I'd previously confiscated from Octan hands, though now they have a much more suitable paint job. They were pretty thrilled to receive an actual combat mission, and get to drive some sweet new MANTIS rigs: The MANTIS bulldozer/tank features a spinning cockpit, and opening cargo bay; the MANTIS hovercraft features hinging sections, the MANTIS motorcycle features an opening rollcage; and the Kawashita cargo truck features a working tailgate. See more pictures here: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=1999

  20. Hey all, My latest MOC is modeled off of a 10x6 Foden S108 crane truck tractor unit run by Mackenzie Transport of Auckland. There are some differences between the real truck and my MOC such as their trucks are white but mine was made in red due to parts constraints and the other difference being that the original Palfinger truck mounted crane on the truck has a five-stage extension on it but my version only has two-stage extension because that was the most I could have before the crane arm became too large and out of proportion. Photos of the original truck can be found here: https://www.flickr.c...ith/6161598123/ MOC's Features: HOG steering Live axle suspension on the rear axles Pneumatically controlled pendular suspension on the front axles Stabilizers Locking turntable Tilting cab with straight six piston engine under the cab Full interior of cab with suspended seats Motorized truck mounted crane with two-stage extension Custom stickers LED running lights The combination with everything expanded This photo is one of my favourites and shows the custom stickers of badging and the original number plate from the truck The truck on its own Everyone's favourite photo, the under shot This photo shows the controls for the crane (the PF switches) along with the switch and pump for the front air suspension The engine without the cab attached The interior The mechanism for seat suspension LED running lights Now for the trailer, a three axle extending trombone trailer. It has full independent suspension, landing gear and of course an extending deck. The trailer extends 29 studs, bringing it to a total deck length of 122 studs/97.6CM. Trailer when extended with lattice boom load Trailer when retracted Trailer suspension system Underside when extended Underside when retracted Another photo of the combination Statistics: Total length with trailer extended: 173 studs/138CM Length of truck: 77 studs/61.6CM Width: 19 studs/15.2CM Height: Truck weight: 2.4KG Trailer weight: 0.8KG Load weight: 0.2KG Pieces count: 4000 +/- Time to build: 60+ hours This is the first time I have used a white background instead of no background and I am very pleased with the results and will definitely do it again. As always more photos can be found on my Bricksafe and for the first time, a video can be found on my YouTube channel! I hope you enjoy my MOC as much as I do Bricksafe: http://bricksafe.com...e/completed-moc YouTube: https://www.youtube....876u7IUZPRGhwrQ

    [M-C04] Comm. Truck

Location: Aeristus, C04 Tags: Vehicle Job: Driver Start Log: A little different job than usual, as I was tasked with driving a MANTIS Comm. Truck, outfitted with all sorts of communicators and sensors. Still it's a rugged vehicle, and packs a hefty punch with it's large cannon: The various sensors and dishes can be moved quite a bit: Thanks for looking
  22. As promised in the white excavator topic last month, here is a closer look at the red four axle truck from that topic. The trailer is nothing special, just thrown together for the fun of it. Now let's unload that loader and have a closer look at the truck! Key features: -Pneumatic crane boom raising -Pneumatic crane jib lifting -Manual crane jib extending -Manual crane winch -Mechanical crane rotation -Pneumatic dumping of bed -Tilting cabin -Proportional steering with Ackerman geometry and good pivot point (more details later) -Manual outriggers -Bed walls can be lowered As you can see, the outriggers are of an extremely simple design. Their geometry and the way they are stored is pretty accurate to real life, but they are entirely manual, not very strong, and there mostly for looks rather than function. At this scale, to make something mechanical or pneumatic that actually works, would have taken way too much space. I tried to make a detailed equipment tower, with an ACU, some tools and some storage compartments etc. The bed is dumped with a normal pneumatic cylinder. It also has the ability to dump sideways, by sliding a mechanical switch that frees the bed on the rear right hand side, while at the same time locks it for rotation around a point on the front left-hand side: The red parts in the above picture are part of the switching mechanism to from rear tipping to side tipping. The cabin tilts to reveal, well, not very much really. Due to the steering setup, I had to ditch the fake engine I originally had mounted. As you might spot, I had to use the old stye 14 tooth bevel gears for the steering. This because I used the older style 8L gear racks, and for the gears to mesh properly, this was the best solution. Last picture show the steering setup. While it provides a very good pivot point and fairly good Ackerman geometry, it is not as rigid as a more standardized solution. But I prioritized a good pivot point to keep the aesthetics of the wheel arches as nice as possible. Again, I reccomend taking a look in the appropriate Bricksafe folder for higher resoution more detailed images. Hope you like it!

  24. Background: This MOC came about after I finished my wheelie bin loading truck MOD to set 42024; I wanted something else to add to my rubbish truck collection. These types of trucks are used not to empty bins but instead lift and load heavy / bulky items. I have plans for more MOCs and MODs around this theme. Features: - Hand of god steering - Opening cabin doors - Rear loading platform - Crusher - Rear body tipping and opening tail gate Build Process: I spent about 25 hours over 8 days building and testing this. Building the truck was quick and easy, adding and testing each feature took the most time. The whole truck is based on the same scale as 42024. The cabin is based on the cabin from 42024 with some changes.[/size]
  25. Hello! After a while, I'll post mocs again, and for starting, I choosed one of my latest creations, a Gaz 66 trial truck. This is my third Gaz66 Lego trial truck, now with 108 mm RC4WD custom tyres, as many technic vehicle has. Equipped with two RC buggy motors for propulsion and one PF M motor for steerig, built in the front axle. The two RC motors are linked together with a central axle, however, they are located separately near to the front and rear axle. With this technique, they can help each other to move this truck over obstacles. I tried to get close to original Gaz66 with the body, but angles and others, like ground clearance were also important. It can be precisely driven, thanks to the RC throttle with 3 levels and linked pendular suspension. This was made first of all for a Lego truck trial competition, organized by HUNLTC in Hungary: Gaz66-024 Gaz66-023 Gaz66-022 Gaz66-021 Gaz66-020 Gaz66-019 Gaz66-018 The RC unit is also part of the frame: Gaz66-016 Gaz66-015 Details: Gaz66-013 Gaz66-012 Gaz66-010 The power transmitter axle between the two motors: Gaz66-011 Gaz66-009 Gaz66-008 Gaz66-007 Gaz66-006 Yes, some scratches appeared after a long run on rocks and others, but I don't care, it's an outdoor built moc. These angles can be done by suspension: Gaz66-005 ... and steering: Gaz66-004 Gaz66-003 Top view: Gaz66-002 Nowadays I have a new semi-pro camera, so from now, you can watch 1080p good quality videos, in my new creations. (but for old mocs, which are waiting for publicizing, I still only have the 480p videos). The slow motion parts were filmed with 1080p60fps and 320x240 at 240fps. Video:
