  1. This is an alternative build (C-model) inspired by the Peacemaker from Mad Max's Fury Road (2015 film) The instructions are 2 PDF files. The first, includes the steps to build the chassis (this is a replica of the car tank built and used for the movie) The second PDF includes the instructions on how to complete the model by building the bodywork. I included a mount base for display. Model is functional with or without the bodywork. I made an effort to make as realistic as possible and therefore the model is manual. i will upload versions of this using Power Functions and Control +, But I am working on other models for now. Instructions available at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-67431/A_Great_Builder/peacemaker-42069-c-model/#details Functions are: Full tracked independent suspension Central V8 engine Double differential steering "Hand of God" Turret (turns with engine's torque) Manual axle (to manually add torque to the system) Mount display Detachable bodywork PD. I made a YouTube video but it was one of my first videos ever and it's not as dynamic as my most recent video. Eventually I will create a shorter video once I have the motorized versions.
  2. "What a lovely day!" This is my MOC of the Doof Wagon from Mad Max: Fury Road. Features opening cabin with room for two, 4 drummers at the rear, and the Doof Warrior on his stage.
  3. Howdy folks! Now this one has been a very fun build for me, as I never attempted to build a vehicle inspired by the Mad Max movie series, although I always wanted to. This was also a hell of an opportunity to use many of the odd parts that you simply cannot put on a normal vehicle, so I am thrilled to present to you, the frightening Gator Mayhem! As you can see, it's and odd blend between and alligator and a trial truck, thus it has 2 animal-specific functions (biting and hitting with the tail), 2 car-specific functions (driving and steering) and of course, 2 tank-specific functions (rotating and firing the turret). What I can tell you is that my two boys just love to play with it, shoot minifigures and eat them all, so I suppose my goal was reached. Functions-wise, I think it's pretty packed, as I managed to squeeze 6 motorized functions, a working V24 fake engine (two connected V12, placed diagonally), working steering wheel and fully openable doors, so you can exit the truck in a flash. This MOC took around 3 weeks to build, almost every day for 2-3 hours, so I can assure you that my dedication has grown a lot, but my wife's patience also reached a new level Technical specs & functions: - 4x4 Drive (XL motor) - Steering (L motor) - Open/close gator mouth (M motor) - Swipe gator tail left/right (M motor) - Rotating turret (M motor) - Firing the turret (M motor) - Turret capacity: 5 missiles - controlled by: 2 BuWizz bricks - a functional V24 fake engine - working steering wheel - openable doors - Length: 72 cm - Width: 30 cm - Height: 30 cm - Weight: 2.8 kg Official YouTube video, made for the [TC17] competition: First batch of photos I took in my kitchen/studio, enjoy the show! Second batch of photos were taken outside, in the most post-apocalyptic environment I could find nearby: As usual, for more detailed photos and many others, please check my Flickr album, below: https://www.flickr.com/photos/braker23/albums/72157713228122532/ Cheers and best of luck to all competitors!
  4. Hello everyone! I finally finished my build, made the video, edited the video, aaaannnnnnndddddd..... POSTED THE VIDEO!!! I would like to say thanks so much to everyone who offered advice and critiques throughout the build process. Please read through the build log below for more information about the truck, but for now, please enjoy the video! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I started out with a bit of a classical Mad Max-style build... A hot-rod, with an oversized engine, and high suspension... And nice pointy bits sticking out all over the place. It has since morphed into a hot-rod mated with monster truck, sprouting a crane from the middle, on Claas tires and requiring 12 shock absorbers... And its motorized! Photos will come tomorrow with the sun and the good lighting.
  5. Welcome to my workshop! The combat wheelbarrow! Interceptor vehicle. Functions PF: 1. On the move: 1 Buggy motor 2. Steering: Servo motor Manual functions: 1. Winch combined with a harpoon 2. Lowering and raising the blade for braking 3. Tilt control of the blade This is just the beginning! Almost done! Link to the album: https://bricksafe.com/pages/Michael217/tc-17-hell-of-a-barracuda
  6. Hi everyone! I want to present you Black Interceptor. This Wounded Beast is published in cooperation with Nikolay Gamurar (FX6000/NikolayFX) and Mikhail Biktimirov. The Last of the V8 Interceptors, also known as a "Pursuit Special", is driven by Maxwell "Mad Max" Rockatansky at the end of Mad Max and for the first half of Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. It is based on an Australian built 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop, which was heavily modified to become a police interceptor by the Main Force Patrol. The third and the shortest appearance of the car was in Mad Max: Fury Road which was the inspiration for the Lego version of the legend. At first, Mikhail introduced it on social media vk.com for the LEGENDARY CARS FROM LEGENDARY MOVIES contest in the independent community "AHD Motors" Russia. I immediately fell in love in this creation and decided to modify it to better match the third version from Fury Road with the help of Mikhail. We have spent a lot of time: Mikhail on the design and me on modifications of the model and creation of the instructions. Hope you will enjoy the build and the actual model. Building instructions consist of 222 pages with highly detailed 412 steps. Thank you for your support and likes! Instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-35846/NikolayFX/black-interceptor/#comments
  7. It has been years after the unspeakable and the survivers used whatever machinery they found to make a new start. The last bit of civilization was rebuilt in a form of the mobile base nicknamed the FrankenBase due to the nature of it's design. Frankenbase was assembled from the following leftovers: Buckets and bogies from a pair of tracked loaders Front frame, suspension and axles from a monster truck Command bridge and helipad from a stranded ship Crane and two containers were salvaged from a dried up port The base also features three support vehicles, a quick buggy, a small bulldozer and a helicopter: To propel the massive base, all wheels and trackes are driven and suspended: The suspension allow the massive vehicle to easily crawl over rough terrain: The track bogies can also steer, giving the FrankenBase a very tight steering radious: The only way to acces the abse is by lovering the ladder in front, which also serves as the ladder to acces the walkways surrounding the entire vehicle: The crane uses a special mechanism which locks onto containers in order to move them: The command deck is protected by nets and features controls: View of the backside with the crane raised: Some trivia about the model: The entire model took me around 2 weeks to build All functions are powered by 19 motors and controlled by 6 BuWizz bricks It measures over 130 cm long, 45 cm high and 40 cm wide The weight is estimated to be around 7 kilograms This is my second largest model built, first being the Go-kart It's one of my most eccentric builds ever The different colors are intentional, representing the chaotic nature of it's envoirment Size compared to the Liebherr: See the model in action the video:
  8. Hi! There's a third version of my muscle car: - PF: XL, M, IR, LiPo - Opening doors, bonnet, trunk - Independent front suspension - Leaf spring rear suspension - Working supercharger - Rubber return to center mechanism - Adjustable seats - Removable body. Video: More photos: Building Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-17750/paave/ultimate-muscle-car/
  9. It was time to rework my old Interceptor with newer parts, and I like the shaping a hell of a lot more this time around. It's WIP since the guts are all placeholder bits, but the shell looks good enough to post. •Raised the rear by 1 plate for an aggressive stance •Rear windscreen can be lifted off So far so good. I managed to work in the red light near the rear bumper by simply leaving the side of the [1x2 trans-red plate] exposed. Next comes reworking the guts to make them stable. Suggestions welcome!
  10. I recently watched the Mad Max Movies again........so I couldn't resist trying to build the V8. I think I ended up with a slightly "Beefed Up" V8 Interceptor. What do you think? 11. The Armored Ice Cream Van. ------------------------------------ We all remember the Times when we rushed out of the House at the one Moment we heard the Icescream Van Jingle to get a cold Treat. These Times are long gone now,and instead of Happy Go Lucky Times,War has risen in the Wastelands around the abandoned and desolate Lego City. Live is tough, and so are the Vehicles the Scavengers,Pirates and Thugs are driving. This Van was once an Ice Cream Van,you can still see the Loudspeaker on the Roof and the Side Hatch from where you could greet happy Customers. I had a lot of fun building this Thing and i used different Colors of Bricks to get this post apocalyptic Car some Texture.Don`t know where that dark red Sail comes from but i really liked it and so it found its Way on the Van. The Idea for the Armored Van came from a similar Vehicle in GTA V,it even shares the manned Turret from which you can get some Distance between You and those pesky Pirates. I had a lot of Fun building this one. Hope you like it,Comments are welcome... 20170709_180426 20170709_180434 20170709_180449 20170709_180528 20170709_180554 20170709_180602 20170709_180615 20170709_180625

    Mad Max: Fury Road

Hi all, I've recently made some of the cars from Mad Max: Fury Road. Thought I'd post this one. I used a reference picture from production shots, but modified some things. Reference is here. Comments and criticism welcome.

    [MOC]Nux-Imitating Terror Rod

"Okay guys, this is a cool ride, you can let me down now. Guys? Guys!" We had a large modular town on a LUG exhibit couple of weeks a ago, and had some contests inside the collaboration. This was my entry in the vehicle category. It got the fourth place (with a tie). A gang of car fanatics supposedly saw Fury Road and got inspired. Unfortunately poor Larry ended up in the front. But someone got to do it, right? More on Cyclopic Bricks.
  14. Lego Mad Max Fury Road ELVIS (RC) by Tommy Styrvoky, on Flickr Following the making of the Peacemaker from the movie Mad Max Fury Road, I wanted to build ELVIS, a 32' Ford with 2 V6 GMC engines. This model is powered by 2 L motors and utilizes a Servo motor for steering. It is powered by a Lego rechargeable battery. This model was somewhat difficult for me to build, it features a 2 V6 engines, or a V12, 4 bar suspension on the front and rear axles. The most difficult part is that I have a very limited supply of red brown bricks(>500) most of these parts came from the Star Wars MTT set released a few years ago. So this limited me to what shape and structure I could do with the pieces at hand. I attempted to replicate the rust/chipping paint of the vehicle seen in the movie, by altering the colors of the roof, as that is visible from a couple screenshots of the movie. Another challenge was the dropped axle in the front, It was difficult to mount suspension and steering in a compact space, without raising the height of the front too much. Thanks to Sariel for providing Background images for this model, from the game. More like those will be coming soon (during next week). 15. What a lovely day! Mad Max: Fury Road has been the best film for some time. Here's the two main protagonists from the movie, road warrior Max Rockatansky and Imperator Furiosa. The models are fully poseable. More on my blog Cyclopic Bricks.
  16. Hi there folks, thanks for taking a look @ my creation. When I started driving (real) cars I loved to lower them, coilovers, airride, I tried everything! Now that I drive a real life Subaru Forester (1998) and take it off road occasionally, I am starting to like off roading and their techniques a lot! So I wanted to create a (small as possible) Lego off road chassis with these elements built in: -Front wheel steering system -Rigid axle with free suspension movement front and rear. Capable of off roading and some rock crawling. -4x4 connection with center diff. Front and rear axle locked. -Turning engine concept. After trying a lot of concepts in LDD, I figured its quite hard to put these elements into a very small working chassis. I tried to fit a Boxer engine (Subaru) in there, but it just wouldnt fit. I came up with a chassis wich I wanted to order @ Lego 'pick a brick', but figured that 'pick a brick' does not have enough bricks available I checked some more shops, but lost hope to order the separate bricks. So I wanted to show you guys my concept wich is not complete. Also LDD has some issues with the hinge tool. Its a very nice piece of software, don't get me wrong What do you guys think? (More pictures coming, photobucket is acting a bit strange, sorry)
  17. Yeap this is happening! So I'm very impressed with this rough draft chassis, capable of driving over and off a 4Litre tray of Lego. But I don't know what the car is if it is a "REAL" car. Does anyone know what make it is? Thought I would also show my homemade lipo that cost me.....$5 TOTAL! Of course I already have a RC charger to charge the batteries. Any questions please feel free to ask!

    Karma Hot Rod

Hmmm, posting this in the scifi or the town section of the forums...? I'll let karma decide. Anyway, enjoy. "Fukushima, karmacrazy! Warboys! Warboys!" Karma; a Hot Rod inspired by 'Mad Max: Fury Road'. More on my Flickr photostream.
  22. I just love post-apocalyptic themes, so I decided to build some sets for it a while ago. This was my second model: the "Trader Hot-Rod-Tank" My first model the "Raider-Trike" can be found here. More pictures can be found in the LEGO folder of my homepage!
