    MOC: Little Threewheeler

Okay Gang, meet the Fleet: The Ronnel Goblin was a small Vehicle that was very popular in the 50s and 60s.Mostly by People in rural Areas but also in Cities when People didn`t have the Money for a "real" Car.Well, the Goblin really tried to be a real Car with a Cabin With of other Compact Cars at the Time but it just can`t hide it`s Origins.Ronnel was a Manufacturer for Mopeds and small Motorbikes which had it`s only Factory in an Industrial Area in Lego City. The Engine was a quirky little two-stroker with roughly 25 HP.Sounds not like much but the Goblin was very light, thanks to the used Materials like Aluminium,Plastic and Wood. The Goblin could be ordered with various Configurations and Attachments. The Threewheeled Base and the high Center of Gravity made the Car a bit unpredictable at high Speeds and in Curves. The End of the 60s also Set the End for the Goblin.New Safety Laws and plummeting Sales were the last Nail in the Coffin for this Car. Well, today you can still see them here and there and a large Fan Community still moves those little Threewheelers. More Variants are in planning.Any more Ideas?
  2. Good day! I hadn't any inspiration for Pentax, so I decided to make a quick project. And here is the result, a mini car powered by RC buggy motor. With most of the bodywork removed: Dragged axle on rear. The RC motor works as a reinforcement for the rear axle. Double wishbone on front with return-to-center ONLY CHASSIS REAR AXLE Some progress photos on Tumblr I hope you like it, the video will come soon.
  3. This is my version of Donald Duck's car in LEGO. It was a challenge to build eventhough it is so small, but of course a fun challenge! I would appreciate if you also had a look at the LEGO Ideas-project here. Some history Donald Duck´s car made its first appearence in the movie "Don Donald" from 1937, and in 1938 it was introduced in the newspaper comics by Al Taliaferro. The design is originally based on an "American Bantam 1938"-car, but has changed slightly over the years and varies from different cartoonists. Its name "The 313" comes from the license plate that has number 313, which also is the day when Donald Duck was born (13th of March). The design is mainly inspired by the original fictiv car "Belchfire Runabout", which you can see in the last photo.
  4. Donald only gets bills in his mailbox, and his neighbor Jones is standing in the background smiling scornfully. I tried to make the visual style similiar to the style I have seen in the Donald Duck comics I read during the 80s. The car is up as an LEGO Ideas-project, so I would appreciate if you had a look at that as well and gave it your support.

    [MOC] Mean Machine

A mean (as the name betrays) little Hot Rod. I had these exhaust parts (from 6646) kicking around for literally ages and finally found the ideal place for them. Enjoy! The driver is the female crook from High Speed Police Chase (60042). More about the car on my blog.
  6. It will be just a MOD but I am very excited about the changes. This time front and rear axles are modular so I can work more easy but there is much more. Competizione version hasn´t got retractable lights so I will do a better hood and thanks to the smaller front axle it will be more rigid. I won´t use chain for steering and I will add a bigger black spoiler with some details. New hood, changes in the bonnet and everything I can improve, for example the hood is sharper and I think it would be good to extend it one more stud.

    [MOC]Nux-Imitating Terror Rod

"Okay guys, this is a cool ride, you can let me down now. Guys? Guys!" We had a large modular town on a LUG exhibit couple of weeks a ago, and had some contests inside the collaboration. This was my entry in the vehicle category. It got the fourth place (with a tie). A gang of car fanatics supposedly saw Fury Road and got inspired. Unfortunately poor Larry ended up in the front. But someone got to do it, right? More on Cyclopic Bricks.
  8. I've added new foto's of my Ghostbusters headquarters addition! (11-3-2014) I've made some alterations to the hearse. Mostly on the tailfin area. The red from the fins isn't touching the rearlights anymore. Also the equipment on the roof is slightly different. It sort of 'belongs' ther now as opposed to be just an 'add-on' like before. I've also made it structurally better. (see post #2)

    Lego Police Chase

Hello! I've made a funny video based on the 60128 set: Police Pursuit. The Lego Police Chase Enjoy!!
  10. Hello everyone! I want to show you my MOCs. My first successful project is a Rallycross car. Rear-wheel drive by two L-motors, opening doors and hood , and a detailed cockpit . The model has already dismantled , there are only pictures. https://pp.vk.me/c62...ihPWp7O4agM.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62..._rec4h9q5wU.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...OoJ932OSU_8.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...86qu_VzpQNk.jpg And my last project is somewhere between Class 1 unlimited buggy from Grof Peter (front suspension and general form) and Baja Trophy truck from Madoca. That's why I named my model "truggy" (truggy is a portmanteau of the words truck and buggy). These two models have inspired me. https://pp.vk.me/c62...j6iB9_qFSAA.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...RXOzREj-ysc.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...5GVmMvlGmfE.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...vXKh5iihnog.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...vTEImVfbxmM.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...H6o537Qw5tI.jpg https://pp.vk.me/c62...-J0gjUVRX3E.jpg Creating a movie is in full swing, and more pictures are coming soon! P.S. Sorry for my bad English, from Russia with love!

Any idea on how these headlights swivel up?

I was looking at this great Ideas project. However, I have no idea how the headlights work: https://dp1eoqdp1qht7.cloudfront.net/community/migrated/b32/5f6/32898/image You can see the car with the headlights down on this page: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/12170 Any ideas on how you would attach those headlights to swivel up just like the original car?
  12. Jake Raines is out in the desert seeking a rumoured lost Sphinx. He has a tough car to track through the near non-existent roads and shifting sands. So, I bought a mostly complete Rise of the Sphinx on eBay and haven't got around to sorting the parts yet. I whipped together this car from what was in the bag of parts. I like the challenge of limits to parts. I think this came out all right. It's also my first build in ages, most of my collection is awaiting the completion of my LEGO space... On closer inspection, it looks like I need to give these parts a good dust!

What licensed car should be next?

After the 'recent' Mini Cooper, Transporter T1 and Ferrari F40, what should be the next model in the expert Creator line? Some suggestions: - Aston Martin DB5 - Jaguar E-Type - Ferrari 250 GTO - Jaguar Mk2 - Mercedes 600 'Grosser' - Citroën DS
  14. Using creator set 3012: Blue Racer, I created four of my own alternate models. It was a lot of fun! x24Hrs is made to look like a number of the road hugging racing car styles. Sport* is made to look like a sporty two-seater to take out for a drive on a nice day or a track day. . Boost was just for a little fun. Make something that looks like it can go fast. Photos are a bit poor, but as they were essentially table-scrap builds I just snapped pics with my phone before taking them apart and trying again. I must have built about 12 different things and these three were my favourite successful builds. A "fail" was something I did not like the final look of, couldn't get to "work" with what I was aiming for in building, or something just too fragile to stay together. So there we go.
  15. Good day! I'm here today to present my new MOC - a tow truck! Functions: Tippable tow bed Retractable wheels support Adjustable seats Openable doors Lockable winch This creation is pending approval on Rebrickable, here the LDD Thanks for reading!
  16. Link to MOCPages: http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/426649 VIDEO FOUND HERE: Hello, this is my first post on Eurobricks. Anyway, here I present my custom supercar RHM (Rage Hobbit Motors) Wutzwerg. Note: this model is on Lego Ideas, the link for which is here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/136011. I'm not really expecting the model to get either the necessary votes or to get turned into a set, but hey, I like to be surprised. Propulsion: 1 x L motor Steering: Front wheel with 1 x Servo motor and working steering wheel Drive Type: RWD Transmission: 4-speed sequential synchronized V2 Weight: 1.3 kg (2.87 lbs) Length: 41.5 cm (16.3 in, 52 studs) Width: 18 cm (7 in, 22.5 studs) Height: 10 cm (3.9 in, 12.5 studs) Power source: 7.4v 8878 Li-Po rechargeable battery box Estimated part count: 1800 pieces Suspension: All-wheel dual-wishbone independent Opening hood, doors, and engine V10 piston engine connected to drivetrain through transmission Build time: ~60 days Short Description This is my first vehicle to be built without a real subject vehicle in mind. It has less of a focus on performance than my other vehicles, with only a single L motor for propulsion. It also has front-wheel steering with a working steering wheel, a new version of my 4-speed sequential synchronized transmission (link here: http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/422999), and a motorized rear wing. Introduction For this car I was trying something a little bit different. I had just designed a new version of my 4-speed sequential synchronized transmission (link here: http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/422999) and I wanted to use it in a car, but I also wanted to build something a little less performance-oriented than usual and thus fit in more functions. This time, there is no original vehicle; make what comparisons you will, this car is entirely a product of my imagination. I think. Drive Train Part of my plan for this vehicle was to eliminate one of my customary 2 drive motors, leaving only a single L motor for propulsion. This freed up space for another M motor, as well as allowing room for the V10 piston engine. The V10 piston engine located behind the front seats, and was connected to the drive system through the transmission; as such, it varied with whatever gear the transmission was engaged into. Because of space restrictions, I had to replace the usual cylinder brackets with a custom rig, after spending a solid hour determining the exact geometry of the original brackets. The transmission used in this vehicle works off of the same principle as my previous 4-speed sequential synchronized transmission; this transmission is also a dual-sequential transmission. What this means is that the transmission actually contains TWO separate transmissions which are shifted in such a way as to produce 4 distinct speeds. What differentiated this transmission from the previous versions is that the switches were not hinged: instead, they moved back and forth in a straight line. This can be seen and understood better from the video above, and you can expect instructions sometime sort of soon-ish. The transmission itself was shifted by an M motor geared 10:1. Because of the lessened power from using a lone L motor, the motor had a gear reduction of 1.25:1 before being fed into the transmission, and then another reduction of 2:1 before the differential at the rear wheels. The car wasn’t fast, but it did pretty well for a single motor. Steering and Other Motorized Functions Steering was simple as usual - with a Servo motor and rack-and-pinion system - but this time I added a working steering wheel. That’s just about all there is to say for the steering system. The final M motor was for the rear wing. This was no fancy job, just a linear clutch and lever mechanism to raise the rear wing, but again space restrictions made the implementation of this system difficult. The rear aesthetics were somewhat compromised to make room for the rear wing & mechanism. Aesthetics With this being the first time I’ve ever come up with my own large-scale car, I didn’t really know where to start, and all the online comments saying “Making your own car is SO hard!” were not particularly encouraging. The front was actually the first area to be built (because of the awkward and inconvenient position of the battery box) and the rest of the car was built using the front as a reference point. Obviously, I can’t give my own unbiased opinion on the car’s aesthetics - many hours spent designing it have probably compromised my opinion as well - but I think the aesthetics turned out pretty well. Please, give me your honest opinions in the comments section! Reflections Not bad, I think, for a first attempt at making my own vehicle. Space was a little bit cramped because of the scale I chose to build it in, but everything mostly fit together in the end. It functioned really quite well: the transmission, rear wing, steering, and propulsion systems all worked without malfunctioning even once in the final vehicle, despite considerable use. That may be a first for me. Despite having fun crafting my own vehicle, I can’t see this as being something I’ll repeat frequently. That’s not to say I’ll never do it again, but I do enjoy recreating existing cars, and of course brand familiarity with my viewers gives people something to compare to. Enjoy the pictures!

    [MOC] Gaz 53

    A famous ussr vehicle - gaz 53. gaz_53_bread.lxf
  18. I started for the chassis without know the car yet . IMO my best chassis until now, AWD, compact, few pieces, some rare solutions in the hard suspension and very important for me with a good output for the steering wheel (I usually have problems with it). I built it AWD because it was more difficult but I am still looking for the car, it can be or not AWD. There is an obvious error, is my trademark in first assemblies . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otIHXDS_dS0&feature=youtu.be '>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hght26AHqfw&feature=youtu.be

    Porsche 917 (mod)

So i finally got the new 917 919 set, and being a huge fan of the 917 i knew i'd have to mod it to make me completely happy but i didn't realize just how much it would need it. below are 2 pictures top one is mine in front of an unmodified 919 (its 3 plates taller than my 917!) the second is a borrowed image of a standard Lego 917. the drop was achieved by 2 things primarily, first i lowered the canopy down 1 plate, and the second was switching to smaller tires/rims this took off a second plate (it was already 1 plate lower than the 919) there were also numorus less obvious changes inside and out to achieve the end result. My Modified 917 Lego's 917 Front View, showing narrowed front opening and reshaped nose. also the one downside to the older fender, the gap rear of the front bricks Rear View, here you can see i added some greebling to fill out the space better, also the tail lights were removed as the were just way to big on the standard car. If you look close here you can see through the canopy to the driver, he is leaned back a very long ways to fit, and this was a trick. the driver sits so far forward in the real car that the minifig legs should actually be placed where the wheel hubs are located. so the standared chassis has been thrown aside to move the driver cavity forward as far as it could go. also if the helmet is removed he can sit quite a ways up further. simple side by side, you can see quite a noticeable height difference between the 2 cars. So there you have it a still speed champion styled Porsche 917 but much better wheels height and shaping in my opionion, feel free to comment, suggest, or anything. and Thanks for looking!
