    [MOC] BlackTron 2 - Spaceship 1

New MOC, total change of theme to go to a field I like, Space ! I decided to do some space MOCs because it's been a long time that I wanted to put some Blacktron 2's color scheme on a Peter Morris design. I have also done some modifications on it in particular on the reactors. So maybe it's more a MOD than a MOC So, this is the result : BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 More pictures on my Flickr. I wanted to participate to Andromeda's Gate but I'm limited by my color choice for the moment.
  2. Based on the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet design, and carried out a more radical modification. Two L motor drive, one servo motor steering, four-wheel drive, remote control. Using two special parts, one is above the 42043 logo, and the other is x85 (lamp bowl). Rear bumper design is still in the adjustment. http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/430479 http://ein.cc

    [MOC] Beast Boy's Mighty Micro

This is my first MOC here on Eurobricks, which is Beast Boy's Mighty Micro. This took me about an hour to make and think of, and I ended up liking the design. Here is the main shot, with Beast Boy riding the vehicle. The vehicle is based off of a crocodile. Here is a better shot at the Beast Boy minifig, who I think I did fairly good on, considering I do not own a Beast Boy fig. Here is the back of the fig, Here are the parts. (Joker's hair, Green Goblin Mighty Micro head, Falcon's torso, bright green hands, short red legs, green snake) All the accessories and Beast Boy. (fish, bone, snake, Beast Boy) I included the fish, as he can turn into animals, bone because he is a beast, and snake for the same reason as the fish. Front of the vehicle. Left side of the vehicle. Back of the vehicle. Right side of the vehicle. Top of the vehicle. Bottom of the vehicle. Beast Boy next to Hulk. Thanks for looking! Feel free to post thoughts on the vehicle and fig! ~ legobagel
  4. Presenting my LEGO Mighty Micro interpretation of the Ghostbusters (1984) Ecto-1! Ghostbusters, Ecto-1 (Mighty Micro) by Adeel Zubair This recreation of the Ecto-1 as a Mighty Micro was quite simple to design. It's ironic that the back of the model is the highlight of the whole model. I'm pretty sure you can guess what pieces were used at the front. NB - I didn't post a main photo of this MOC as it was a rather dull photograph, I attempted it several times and it just wasn't working. Thankfully the back came out perfectly! It's perspective and angle looks quite Chibi and comical with the right side wheels getting pressed into the ground as the Ecto-1 comes in to action! [LDD MOC] The Grub Truck

Hey Guys, i think my latest virtual MOC fits in best here in the Scifi Section. This Time,it`s an old and ordinary Delivery Truck some Cartoon Show Lovers might recognize. The Show sadly got only one Season but it`s Visuals are breathtaking and it more or less revolves around a dystopian Future,Cars and a Gang racing their beloved Rides in an Underground City that wasn`t Underground the whole Time. I used this Artwork as a Reference for the overall Design. There are still a few Things i`m not too happy about like the Grill (to be precisely, the Center Section). The Center Sections seems to be made of three Headlights stacked on top of each other and enclosed by an oval Structure. So,what do you Guys think?Any Ideas for the Grill? Also, who recognized the Van without looking at the Spoiler below? ....yep,i`m talking about Motorcity And here we have now the final Version made from real Bricks. As you can see i changed a few Things like the Taillights, the Grill and in inserted a colorful Panel on one Side.

  9. Greetings All, I have been busy designing and building my Mechwarrior 4 version of the Bushwacker Battlemech (Posted in the Sci-Fi section of Eurobricks) so my Y-wing LDD sits in the corner crying for attention. 10. The T-rex is the apex predator in the Cretaceous age, and the most perfect masterpiece evolution has ever managed to accomplish. Because 65 million years after its extinction, it is still the biggest and most powerful carnivore ever walked the earth. When I first watch Jurassic Park, I was immediately captivated by the power and beauty of the T-rex, and hopelessly fell in love with her. And what beats watching a T-rex movie? Building one yourself! At 59 cm length and 930 grams weight, This model is possibly the world*’s largest posable T-rex that stands on its own. * LEGO world :-) For more pics of the beast, please visit me on flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskCpW3Se Features: 1. It grew bigger as the building went on, for we are all greedy in the detail department. As a result, at a certain moment, It suddenly hit me that this thing may never be able to stand on its own when finished, and that would be an ultimate bummer (Yes, it’s my second MOC, I never knew LEGO was so heavy!). But due to a technique (mixel joints served as tendons), a lot of time and effort put into banlancing, and many compromises made to aesthetics, the completed T-rex stands on its own. (It may not pose a problem for digital building, but I consider this the No.1 feature of this build.) 2. Play features: This beast is not only a display piece, It is moderately posable thanks to a lot of joints. And it has to be from the conveiving because there are so many cool postures and it would be a waste of bricks if it ends up to be just a statue. Again, aesthetics has to give way… to gaps. But the very essence of LEGO saves the day again: with a few parts (modules) added or removed, the gaps left by maneuvers can be covered. 3. Sturdy. Every time I had to choose between appearance and sturdiness, I chose the latter, for which I think is a virtue of official sets. 4. I try to get the proportions as real as possible. Oftentimes I see a T-rex MOC, the head is over-sized to stress the beast's ferociousness and the feet are disproportionately large to increase stability. 5. Stud-Not-On-Top design, and all “legal” LEGO parts and techniques. The T-rex is a LEGO Ideas project, if you like it please support me at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/146539 . Thank you so much :-) Check another of my posts, Extreme Evolution: Arctic Triceratops: http://www.eurobrick...opic=135937&hl=

    [MOC] [LDD] Naboo N-1 Starfighter

Here is N-1 I have been working on. It is based originally on Mike Psiaki's and then scott34567's model he did also based on Mike's. I removed the laser canons on the front since they are hidden on the N-1 except for the small exit hole. I also fleshed out the bottom of the hull based on pictures from the set pieces from the movie. I also did a lot of internal work to strengthen optimize and strengthen the model. Any feedback or suggestions would be great. I'm working on building in bricks right now. I just snagged the newest Lego version (75092) off of craigslist for $15 so I'm just getting my Bricklink order together for the extra pieces I need. [MOC] Italian Villa

Hey it's me, Pau PadrĂłs, you may know me from my Ideas account: https://ideas.lego.c...padros/activity Anyway, I'd like you to be completely honest with what you think. Please don't hesitate to comment. Italian Villa The follow-up to the very successful modular Magic Shop. Designed from January 2016 to February 2016, it resembles a stand-alone villa which was adapted as a townhouse to the ever-expanding city of Paunia. Welcome everyone to the Italian Villa! This is my second modular after Magic Shop (also on Eurobricks: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133706&hl=). Facts: 2148 bricks 30.5 cm tall (about 12") Flame Yellowish Orange clour scheme Nice vegetation on the side wall Beautiful open area on the top Minifigues & Interior Highlights: All five minifigures with a rather nice street sign, grandfather clock and modern painting You know how I am, suggest new ideas, and of course feel free to write anything you like/dislike about this modular! Thanks for reading! I really appreciate it!
  15. Okay,i got the Idea for a Thread like this after playing Lego SW TFA on my Computer.I noticed that there are many different Objects,Decorations,Ships,Speeders and Bits and Bites that aren`t part of an official Set. It`s kinda the Counterpart for the "Assembling Bricksburg",hence the Thread Title. No matter if you have the Game or not,you can contribute to this Thread by leaving a Comment or help to "deconstruct" some of the ingame Models. As i mentioned, the Game has various Ships and other Things which aren`t in a Set. Wanna see a few Examples? How about these little Microfighters like Rey`s Mini Speeder or the Guavian Fighter: Forgot what this Thing was supposed to be,but i like it: How about Darth Vaders new Ride?Isn`t it pretty? I also made the Transporter from the Rebel Hangar:
  16. Hey everyone, Here it is, after about half a year of on and off work, my new MOC, a working model of a MAN TGS Dakar Truck. A video showing all the functions: The chassis is entirely LEGO, and has: -Servo steering -4x4 transmission -2x buggy motor drive -live axles on front and back -opening doors -working lights It also has custom stickers, as well as a box for the rear, made of styrofoam board, acrylic stickers, glue, plastic sheets, and regular stickers, which took a while to perfect, but turned out pretty well in the end. Hope you guys like it!

Sadly, my LEGO collection is neither the cleanest, nor the most organized, so some pieces may not be of preferable quality. And, due to shaky hands, I am not the greatest photographer.

  19. Hi Guys, some time ago, I built this truck http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=120767 and I was thinking, how it will looks if I will make something similiar, but smaller? And this is the result. I'm happy how it turns out. It's fun to drive and i could finally use 43.2mm tires again. Some specs: Parts count: 790 Dimensions (W/H/L): 13/19/38 studs 8x4 Driving: 1 Medium motor 8x4 Steering: 1 Servo motor. Each axle with different angle 2 Rear axles has "pendular" suspensions Openable doors Interior So, what do you think? Short Video:
  20. This is my first MOC on this site! Bear in mind that I have only been building for slightly more than 2 years and don't have a very large collection, so my builds aren't exactly Sheepo standard... The car is a 1:10 model, although I had to deviate from the scale slightly in order to fit the functionality I wanted into the car (width was increased to 25 studs for example). Here are the features (LONG list): Remote control drive with three EV3 Large motors. Top speed around 5mph. Drive goes to all four wheels via two diffs. Remote-control steering with EV3 Medium motor. Turning radius is rather large though. 8-speed automatic hybrid gearbox. Basically a 4-speed automatic and a 2-speed ratchet gearbox (inspired by Sariel) used together. A model piston engine (V6) in the front with engine capacity scaled to the real car (I measured mine at 3.77cc, real car is 3.8l). Lever in cabin with Drive/Neutral/Brake settings. Handbrake system and rear friction brakes. Full independent suspension with negative camber angle. Adjustable ride height for each wheel through tuning dials (front ones are under the hood, rear ones are hidden next to the spoiler). Adjustable castor angle for each of the front wheels (adjusted by rotating the turntables). Opening sprung doors with locks. Opening sprung front hood. Cabin with fake steering wheel (non-rotating), FOUR SEATS and a floor. Pic with doors and hood open, revealing the model engine. The red pads on the hood are rubber friction pads (from EV3 Education Expansion set) - these keep the hood closed. Close ups showing the piston engine and suspension. When the tuning screws are turned, a worm gear system rotates the arm where the shock absorbers are mounted. Adjustment range is about 2 studs. Castor is adjusted by turning the turntables - this effectively rotates the entire suspension system relative to the chassis. Beams from the chassis are placed to interfere with the rotation of the turntables - this keeps the turntables in place when not adjusted. The cabin is fitted with a full set of 4 seats, as in the real car. The occupants of the rear seat are given the rare treat of having gears from the 2-speed ratchet gearbox right next to them. When the drive setting is enabled, a driving ring allows the motors to drive the 4-speed gearbox. In neutral, the driving ring meshes with nothing, letting the car roll freely. In Handbrake, the driving ring locks the input shaft of the 4-speed gearbox to the output using a gear ratio that isn't part of the gearbox, effectively locking the shaft. This is like solving the equation 3x=x (x is the rotation speed of the shaft) - x can only be zero. Part of the drivetrain is shown here. The differential and elastic system measures the resistance on the input. The system on the bottom-left shifts gears when the resistance is too low or high. The 4-speed gearbox is a standard 5/3/1.67/1 design - the 2-speed's gear ratios fit "in between" these. Notice the towball links and lever below (remember this is an upside-down view) the gearbox. Those control the rear brakes. In Handbrake mode, the brakes are engaged. Here is a graph showing the 8 power bands (created with Microsoft Excel). The lines are cut off when the spreadsheet calculates that the motors run out of torque. This graph used data from my test runs, so the performance shown here is similar to that in real life. Top view of the rear with the body removed. The drive motors are visible, and the 16-tooth gears (used as tuning dials for the rear suspension) can be seen. This is the underside of the rear axle. When the towball link is pulled, the red rubber pad swings outwards and grips the inside of the wheel. I made the rather radical decision to leave the EV3 brick exposed at the back. I decided that covering it up would require too many parts, add too much weight and deviate from the scale. The GTR's four red rear lights are modelled with new-type 16-tooth clutch gears. Overall, I think this has been a successful build for me, cramming in far more features than any of my prior builds (in fact, I am yet to see a 1:10 supercar model with more functionality). However, some things could have been improved: It isn't a perfect scale mode. The seats are way too far forward - I had to do this to fit the monstrous powertrain inside. The rear end aesthetic requires, well, some getting used to. Rear wheels sometimes rub against the top of their fenders. Can be solved by setting the tuning to maximum ride-height. Negative camber angle is too pronounced. Steering lock is very small, and gets even smaller if castor angle is set to extremes. Gearbox tends to be rather "reluctant" to shift gear - this was the only way to stop it from constantly alternating between two gears. It isn't exactly GTR like when driven. GTRs are known for their acceleration, but the model takes ages to get up to speed. It drives more like a truck. My next build will be my Porsche competition entry - no EV3 will be involved for that, although plenty more features (did someone mention 4-wheel steering?)...

    [MOC] Qubi House

Hello everyone! I'd like to show you another modern house: Qubi House. Following Villa Diaman I wanted to try more and so here it is! Enjoy! All photos can be found in my Flickr Gallery.
  22. I've never been satisfied by the turrets in any of the Hoth sets (and there must be half a dozen versions of it by now). They all have the problem of a straight cylinder, when in the movie the turret clearly tapers. I've made a number attempts at building one. Now I think I've finally cracked it. 24. In 1917 Pennsylvania Railroad created the FF1 experimental electric locomotive. It was nicknamed Big Liz. PRR planned to electrify the Allegheny Mountains and have the FF1 haul freight through it. Big Liz was so strong that she would regularly ripped the couplers off the rolling stock of that era. Electrification didn't happen and Big Liz was scrapped in 1940. There was only one made and she was one of a kind. I followed LEGO 6 wide toy train designs and used Power Functions for motive power. The boxy boxcab design and 48 studs length provided ample room for AAA battery box, IR receiver, PF LED and M-motor. The prototype didn't go faster than 20.6 mph so I further geared down the M-motor output. PRR FF1 Big Liz by dr_spock_888, on Flickr The unique features of this locomotive are the jackshafts and side rods. I wanted to use 13L thin Technic liftarms for side rods. Since LEGO doesn't produce them in that size, I opted to make them with 123D Designer and Meshmixer. I sent the export file to my local public library for 3D printing. They came out to about 50 cents CAD each. The 3D printed pieces are useable but not LEGO plastic injection mold quality. It was challenging learning to use the software and DIY. I didn't yank out too much hair. Video of FF1 in action: Couple more pics on Brickshelf.
