  2. Here is a small vehicle that I built. It is very small and easy to build. You should be able to replicate it from the pictures;) It is fast, stable, and funny looking;) Now I will break it apart so you can see how it’s built:)the track base.and at last the body broken apart. it is powered by BuWizz 2.0 and is driven by two m motors, one per track.   3. This gearbox is an upgrade of my ultra compact 8-speed sequential gearbox. The 8-speed gearbox was nice but it was frustrating to know that the 2-speed gearbox took as much space as the 4-speed gearbox. I thought about transforming the 2-speed gearbox into a 2+N+R one. I had an idea about how to transform this gearbox but I didn't really think about how to activate the reverse and the neutral. Maybe by doing something with the knobs... I spoke with @Charbel and he gave me the idea to use the Bionicle parts I already used on my previous gearbox. Then I ended up with this: I used large frames as in the Lamborghini Sian. They make the whole gearbox stiff and now you have just to build a chassis arount the 'box! The neutral was extremely simple to do. See by yourselves: The reverse was more complex to create. For every foreward speed, the 2+N+R-speed gearbox rotates the 4-speed gearbox by the red 16t at the bottom. The reverse doesn't use the 4-speed gearbox, it uses the blue 20t at the top of the picture below: To engage the neutral and the reverse, I fixed two Bionible parts on the left knob. So they act as a smaller knob, with two teeth, and at a point 1/4 turn of the right knob makes the left knob rotate by 1/4 turn, whereas for all the foreward speeds, the left knob does 1/4 turn every turn of the right knob. Reverse engaged: Neutral: First: There is a stop not to shift from the 8th to the reverse. The engine and the gearbox wouldn't appreciate. The wheels have to be connected the the red axle and the engine to the grey one. It's possible to use this gearbox for a 4WD vehicle easily since the red axle goes through the gearbox. With this gearbox you don't have to use a 8-speed gearbox and a DNR one anymore, as in the Chiron or the Sian. It saves space, and you can't engage the 4th speed whereas you are in neutral - all the speeds shift into a logic order. I will make instructions when I have time!
  4. Hi! When I received my BuWizz, I wanted to make a fast RC model. It had to be very light, so a kart was good to make that. The mechanic is very simple. There are just some gears to turn the wheels at a high speed. As you can see, the driving is powered by two L motors and the steering by a servomotor. According to the tyres, this kart is very fast!
  5. I made it almost a year ago, but I didn't have the time to make its presentation. It's a gearbox I made at the release of the rotary changeover catches. My purpose was to make a gearbox as compact as possible. So I decided to couple a 2 speed gearbox to a 4 speed gearbox. There are 2 advantages: firstly the gearing is more compact, and then the shift system is also pretty compact. When the changeover catch of the 4 speed gearbox makes one turn, it activates the one of the 2 speed gearbox. So to change the speeds from the lowest ratio to the highest, the 4 speed gearbox does 1; 2; 3; 4 while the 2 speed gearbox is in first gear; then the 4 speed gearbox activates the second speed of the 2 speed gearbox, and it does 1; 2; 3; 4 again. Little trick: when you make a double gearbox like this, it's important to be sure that the gears are in the right order. This means the 6th gear (2-2) must not to be lower than the 4th gear -1-4) or you cannot control the gearbox properly. So in Excel, I recreated the structure of the gearbox using cases in the calculations (for example F3*G3/F4*G4). Then I put the number of teeth of the gears I may use in the cases, and I got the final ratios of the gearbox. After some tries, I got a good result, and a perfectly controllable gearbox. To control this gearbox, I used the stepper of the Bugatti Chiron that I compacted a little bit (the piece in red). To finish, a modelization of the mechanic to have a clearer view of the gears: Finally, this is an extremly compact gearbox, easily controllable.

This is our first post, we are very excited we have made a truck and wanted to share the instructions with everyone here it is. This beauty of a model is based on the Kenworth W900 purple edition of the truck. We would like to talk about this truck's features, dimensions and weight, optional configurations, part lists and the Instructions. Features Right here we would like to list the key features of this truck. Here they are; Opening Hood Detailed exterior and interior Working V6 engine Interchangeable Front Bumper Opening Doors Working Rear Differentials Virtual Pivot Steering Working Fifth Wheel (with lock) Large Sleeper with an opening rear door RC version (Coming Soon) Dimensions and Weight This strong and durable truck is nice and detailed with a lightweight of about 922 grams. Although the weight is light the dimensions are large for this type of truck. The dimensions are; a width of 48.3 studs (38.6 centimetres), a length of 21.8 studs (17.4 centimetres) and the height is 18.6 studs (14.9 centimetres). Optional Configurations and Part List This truck as a few optional configurations to match your build threshold perfectly. All the panels straight panels have to be the same colour to make a different colour scheme. In the inventory it mentions 2 L motors and 1 M motor, I have included these motors as they are required for an RC version of this vehicle. In the instructions it includes them but you don't have to place the motors inside the model, they don't take away any of the existing functions in this vehicle.   7. One BuWizz, it's good. But two, it's better, because you can make MOCs having 8 functions! I have already done a full RC compact excavator, but with LEGO IR receivers. I wanted do make another excavator without the gearbox allowing to choose between the rotation of the arm and the pneumatic pump. Furthermore, the M motors were just enough powerful to move the arm. On this new excavator, it's different. I tried to make the mecanic as compact as possible. And the arm is controlled with more powerful motors: 1 L and 1 XL. So now you can... dig on gravel with a GoPro attached on the arm, and the motors bear that easily! There is a good speed and so much power to do anything you want! For the design, I tried to cover the maximum and I kept a color scheme close to the one of my previous excavator. To switch on the BuWizz of the turret, you need to open the part behind the cab. The hood is also openable, but there is nothing interesting to see. ^^ So the functions are: -> Controlled by the bottom BuWizz: Left track (M motor) Right track (M motor) Blade (M motor) LEDs (of the cab and the arm) -> Controlled by the BuWizz of the turret: Turn table (L motor) 1st part of the arm (XL motor) 2nd part of the arm (L motor) Bucket (M motor) You have certainly noticed that there are shock absorbers. It's for the tension of the tracks. The LEDs: And the video! The BuWizz are in Fast mode and I used the app BrickController, done by @imurvai. It's perfect for this MOC!
  8. This MOC was built after 2 other attempts, 2 years ago and these didn't work. (I can explain a little the reasons if someone is interested) The design was difficult to do because of the round shapes. But I think the result is so good. You tell me ! The functions are : Left track Right track Blade Rotation of the turret 1st section of the arm 2nd section of the arm Moving the bucket Rotation of the arm (right/left) Opening/closing the clamp (pneumatic) All the functions are powered by M motors, except the rotation of the turret. But there are 9 functions, and it is possible to control just 8 functions with the IR system. How it's possible ? It's quite simple ! A gearbox allows to choose between "rotation of the arm" or "opening/closing the clamp". The chassis is very compact. It has 4 motors and 1 IR ! The mechanism of the rotation of the turret is not visible (the turret is too compact ! ^^) The rotation is quite fast (not too slow). Here you can see the motor actioning the 1st section of the arm. The motors of the 2nd section of the arm and the bucket are placed inside the arm. The last motor is placed in the middle of the chassis. It actuates the gearbox and you can choose the function to activate. With the clamp, there are a bucket and forks.
  9. I am building Ninjago City. Amazing set. I would consider myself a newbie. My 5 year old son REALLY likes the grill, and cooking numourous entrées and having the people sit on the bar stools and eat. I am about to build the next level, and I can clearly see that he won’t be able to access the inside of this room once the rooms above are attached. Is this normal with LEGO builds, where you can’t access the inside of the rooms you are building to play with them? Is it possible to build some type of a lift for each level that would still allow access to the inside of the rooms? I am quickly falling in love with legos, and plan to designate a small room in my house to building them. Please help me come up with something here so I can continue my LEGO journey.
  10. Hi everyone, This is my first MOC to be published here on the forum: a small/compact rally hatchback. It is not a copy of an existing car, but the front is inspired by modern Audi's. The design parameters that I want to achieve include the following: Fast drivetrain Lots of torque (the car must be able to drive on tarmac, dirt and sand) An average scale of 1:12.5 Front and rear independent suspension Front and rear PF lights Servo steering with small turning radius Buwizz 2.0 to increase performance (located under the bonnet for better weightdistribution and easy acces) A light and rigid chassis Openable doors and bonnet A realistic/clean interior (no visible moters/wires/chassis beams) A gapless body, using rather pannels than beams Drift (on sand) It contains 100% LEGO parts (excpet BuWizz) with a total of 1178 parts.   11. Hello everyone! Today i present you my latest and most complex MOC: the AC Cobra 427. The challenge was to create a medium sized car with a complex body structure and add as many technic features as possible making it look good, functional, playable and robust. After going through lots of difficulties i have finally managed to get it done.   13. Hi Guys, some time ago, I built this truck http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=120767 and I was thinking, how it will looks if I will make something similiar, but smaller? And this is the result. I'm happy how it turns out. It's fun to drive and i could finally use 43.2mm tires again. Some specs: Parts count: 790 Dimensions (W/H/L): 13/19/38 studs 8x4 Driving: 1 Medium motor 8x4 Steering: 1 Servo motor.   14. Hi Guys! I got ill and finally have some time to finish another compact truck. My target was to build functional 4x4 with diferential and suspensions in my favourite scale. Also, I wanted to move center of steering as close to wheel as possible, which I thing I did. Some info: Part count: 870 Dimesions: 50x15x22 studs Drive: 1Xl Motor Steering: Servo Beam: 2M motors Rear axle suspension Differential on both axles Openable doors I used baloon wheel but it also looks good with 4,95x20 tyres It's fun to drive and play, but it was more test, if I'll be able to build 8x8 in this scale, so i didn't put in it as much as i could.   15. Boxcab Shunter Hi guys, I've just finished a new Power Functions boxcab locomotive. I hope you guys like it. It was my first ever Power Functions MOC and I think it came out quite well. Here are the specs length: 16 bricks (with couplings) hight: 11 plates colour: yellow motor: PF train motor battery box: AAA weight: 314,1 gram But without further ado, Here are some pictures of it! Front view side view Motor How I hid the battery box And how I hid the reciever the only problem is that it doesn't have any wagons... And I have zero idea about what to build for it. I thought about some giant boat trailer or a flatbed but I scrapped those ideas. Bye
  16. This is what I managed to build today in cca 5 hours. Its a very efficient, lightweight yet powerfull forklift. All functions are motorized with M motors. Features: - Front wheel drive with differential - Pendular rear axle with ackermann steering geometry - Lifting mechanism with double chains for max lift force of over 500 grams - Fork tilting mechanism I will upload better pictures and a video tomorrow
