  1. Hello world! I would like to continue (and close) my MOC series "Updating the Classics". (part 1: MOC: Updating the Classics (1) - 6018 Battle Dragon Revisited part 2: MOC: Updating the Classics (2) - 6049 Viking Voyager part 3:MOC: Updating the Classics (3) - 6057 Sea Serpent Revisited part 4:MOC: Updating the Classics (4) - 1752 Crossbow Boat Revisited part 5:MOC: Updating the Classics (5) - 1547 Black Knights Boat (Revisited) ) I think I have "updated" most of what could be found in 1980s and 1990s. So (drumroll) here it is, the final chapter: 6017 King's Oarsmen (Revisited) 6017 King's Oarsmen: This is a charming little boat, with two dragon heads. And with two brave knights. Sadly, I did not have any more of the originals. So I have chosen some of my oldest knights. The boat had a sail - so I could (once more) use my brickbuilt-sail-approach! 6017 King's Oarsmen (Revisited): This time I wanted to create something special... .... with a monkey in it... Monkey is sailing away happily... As you can see I have found a counterpart for the original two dragonheads. I am very happy to be able to close this with something funny. Thanks for watching!

    [MOC] British Royal Navy Gunboat

171D Hello all! I said in my last small MOC, I'd probably do another MOC, so I decided to make a ship this time, a Gunboat. It took me almost 4 hours (mostly finding and digging out parts), i'd say remove all the finding time, it took me about 20 minutes to construct, maybe 25 minutes (I did a few designs, and picked the one I liked most). Now, the gunboat itself has 1 small mast, 1 small rotating cannon at the beginning, and 2 swivel guns. The ship can fit about 4-6 minifigures, however I didn't want to take up the whole ship with minifigures, so I manned it with 3 minifigures in the 3 main posts. I myself am pretty proud of my build, I mean, I just built it with limited parts, and the way I thought a gunship should look like. I originally constructed a small grey cannon to go at the front, but it was a little bit too big, so I added a smaller rotating cannon that looks a lot like a swivel gun Alright, let's get started. Gun1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Side view of the ship. Quite small, but it is a Gunboat Gun2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr The bow of the ship. A redcoat manning the frontal cannon, and a Royal Navy gunner manning one of the two swivels. As you can see, I've given those new ugly blasters a use! They make great swivels, firing ones, too. Gun3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Gun4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Overview of the ship. You can see a bit of the crows nest. Gun5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Other side of the ship. It does appear that there is a bit of dirt of that piece. Cleaning time Gun6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A simple, small stern to the gunboat. Gun7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr You can really see everything that's going on in the ship in this pic. Gun8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr At the wheel of the ship, a British Midshipman pilots the small ship. Gun9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly a view of the whole ship and the crows nest. Let it sail to bring glory to the Redcoats, and justice to the seas. Hope you've enjoyed! Please tell me what you think of my Gunboat! Have a nice day.
  4. Hello world! I would like to continue my MOC series "Updating the Classics". (part 1: MOC: Updating the Classics (1) - 6018 Battle Dragon Revisited part 2: MOC: Updating the Classics (2) - 6049 Viking Voyager part 3:MOC: Updating the Classics (3) - 6057 Sea Serpent Revisited part 4:MOC: Updating the Classics (4) - 1752 Crossbow Boat Revisited) I am running out of original castle ships - but here is one more and one more will follow and close this series. 1547 Black Knights Boat (Original & Revisited): 1547 Black Knights Boat (Original): As you can see I do not have the original knights. What is best about this boat is the dragon head as a gallion. That TLG designer at that time was really good. 1547 Black Knights Boat (Revisited): So, it was key to keep the dragon head - I have only modified it slightly and changed the colours to have less contrasting colours. The new boat seems to come from Mitgardia. One more to come! I hope you enjoyed it. C&C welcome!

[LDD MOC] La Spada - 10 gun xebec

LDD/MLCad 14D Greetings, my dear colleagues! This bright Christmas time the only way I can congratulate you is to delight your eyes and romanticize your minds with this graceful ship. I decided to dedicate this ship to my good friend Kolonialbeamter - his support and warm responses to my ships are essential for my creativity. So there is a xebec - every person who has ever interested in maritime history was certainly fascinated by the grace of this light and dangerous ship. I used quite tiny scale, so there are only 10 cannons, but I am sure that little sea predator with unique abilities for close-hauled sailing can be incredibly dangerous, even for large vessels. This is my second xebec project and not the last for sure. You can find the ship here: https://www.flickr.c...157651089454676 Creating this ship I used the same technology as here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=102498 and here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=102667 and here: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=103561 Thank you for your attention

[LDD MOC] La Lancia - 14 gun xebec

LDD/MLCad 15A Good evening, dear colleagues. For the beginning I would like to apologize for any possible sense of deja vu. It just so happened that xebecs captured my imagination. Their graceful forms, lightness, excellent seakeeping... and extreme danger for almost any ship! Even my computer opposed and stopped doing renderings, but I asked my friend for help, and now you can contemplate this ship in all its beauty. You can find the ship here: https://www.flickr.c...157650737603559 She is even more slim than her sister La Spada (http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=103787), as you can see. Brick built sails still play a role of fabric, which is not present in the program. Everything else is attached and can be constructed in real bricks. God give me strength to choose a ship that will be built in reality - when the time will come. Incidentally, this is the first ship in which I finally managed to use a sausage! I wonder whether you can find it And a little raw picture - two sisters together. Perhaps I should apologize again - my next ship will be a... xebec. Again. It will be the last ship of this type - it's definitely time to move on. Thank you for your attention
  7. Hi there! I would like to continue my MOC series "Updating the Classics". (part 1: MOC: Updating the Classics (1) - 6018 Battle Dragon Revisited part 3: MOC: Updating the Classics (3) - 6057 Sea Serpent Revisited) This time I will try to do the "6049 Viking Voyager" some justice. The set goes back until 1987 (and I did not have it). 6049 Viking Voyager (Revisited & Original): 6049 Viking Voyager: I have added Midgardian colours to distract from the key point that I do not have the original shield Also the "cover" for the treasure had been designed in white - I only have similar bricks in black. There they are, rowing away happily... 6049 Viking Voyager (Revisited): A new model required the usage of the "real" vikings. The treasure "cover" was enhanced - and created in white. Overall colour scheme is meant to be close to the original. And then I thought that I need to do something special for the gallion (the original gallion is - frankly speaking - quite poor): .... and I think I was very successful! That was fun! I have used oars - they were not available when the original set came out (we are talking about pre-pirate times!). So, after this overhaul, the new vikings may row away in peace into the sunset! More to come - C&C welcome!
  8. Hi there! I would like to continue my MOC series "Updating the Classics". (part 1: MOC: Updating the Classics (1) - 6018 Battle Dragon Revisited part 2: MOC: Updating the Classics (2) - 6049 Viking Voyager part 3:MOC: Updating the Classics (3) - 6057 Sea Serpent Revisited) Dubbadgrim has thankfully pointed me to 1752 Crossbow Boat (1996), a really small boat with one knight and two crossbows. I thought that the crossbow would have to be bigger for the new version. The set was also released as 1804 Crossbow Boat and and 2892 Thunder Boat. 1752 Crossbow Boat (Original & Revisited): 1752 Crossbow Boat: The original is one of the smallest boats put out by TLG. As I have run out of the correct black bricks I have rebuild the model using (old) dark grey. It possesses a certain charme: 1752 Crossbow Boat Revisited: For the new version, a good crossbow was available I also thought it would be better to differentiate between the oarsmen and the crossbow men. So it got a bit bigger than the original. I could not stick to the colour scheme as I wanted to use some spare boat bricks. Then I was satisfied with the new edition. (No brick-built sail this time.) But still I think that TLG might have seen this as the "modern" version of the set: The series will continue! C&C welcome!

And, last off, James, the newest member of B-Squad, Stormtrooper Corporal. Get some rest for now, it's been a long day. SONEe1s16 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Sergeant Trans: I'll be off. Remember the plan, and we'll get back together later. For now, I think you boys deserve a rest. Maybe even explore the ship? We'll be on it for a while before and after the mission. If we survive, of course. I know we can do it, though. I could do this all day, but I'll be off. Hmf. SONEe1s18 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Dan Jars: Don't worry about Darek, he just thinks he's the best. But, he's really not. He's just the type that picks on newbies like you. However, you're actually quite skilled. I know you'll be a useful member of the team, no matter how new. I know I can trust you in battle. The Ammonite

171A The Ammonite is a whaling ship (its home port being somewhere in 19th century New Bedford). Primarily used to hunt certain types of whales for their valuable oil, this ship's crew has mastered the art of whaling, and their ship is the pride and joy of its company's business. Since I was fortunate enough to have a three day weekend, I decided to not let it go to waste and buckled down and built. Also, this is my first MOC post here on Eurobricks, so I hope I posted this in the best theme place possible and did all the post guidelines right. Please let me know if I need to change anything. More photos can be found on my Flickr: https://www.flickr.c.../127983423@N07/ Happy building and God bless! :-) -BrickBuilder7622

    [MOC] Small Merchant Ship

I decided to start out my first MOC as a small one. So I basically made up what I think a version of a small merchant ship would like like, maybe going to or from Coruscant. So here we are. Mer2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Mer8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Here's a look at some crew or friends of the merchant carrying some cargo. Mer4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Some of the cargo capacity. Mer7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Interior. Very basic controls and a seat. Can fit 1 crew member, and a bit of cargo inside the cockpit. Mer1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A look at it's simple, but effective engine. Mer5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr An overview of the ship. (Sorry for the low quality picture, there). Mer9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly, a final frontal view of the ship. Thanks for looking! Please comment and criticize so I can improve next time, or if I can see if you liked it or not.
  14. Hey, my first review here... not sure if it's ok and if I actually CAN post a review here yet but if not - please moderate this :] So: Set Name: TIE Advanced Prototype Set #: 75082 Theme: Star Wars Pieces: 355 Minifigures: 3 Year of Release: 2015 MSRP: USD $39.99 I bought this set in a polish SMYK store yesterday (so a bit earlier than it was supposed to be out). I overpayed for it quite a lot but then again that's what "impulse-purchase" is all about :) Box/Instructions The box itself is quite nice. Not too big, not too small. Instructions are easy to read and pretty standard. There's a small sticker sheet as well, consisting of 6 small stickers. Parts There are 355 parts in this set. They're all pretty standard ranging from light-gray to dark-gray and black. Some red transparent bricks are also present. I think this set has a new part -> (sorry for being an ignorant) an L-shaped light-gray brick with no studs. You can see it on the stock pictures on "top" of the wings (I think it's called a "tile" ;] ). Other than that - the printed domes are also interesting pieces. Minifigures The figs are basically what should draw you to this set. The Inquisitor is AMAZING. It has a new helmet, shoulder-pads and a lightsaber. This fig is pure awesome. It's definitely a must for all the SW minifig collectors out there. You also get a TIE Pilot (I think it's a new fig as well - different helmet from the last TIE Fighter Pilot we had) and an Imperial Officer (which also has "new" tag on the box meaning it's an exclusive!. Pure Empire gold! The build The build is devided to 3 stages. Bag 1 - Cockpit. Bag 2 - "Wing-holders". Bag 3 - Wings. The build is rather fast and a bit repetetive as the wing-holders are basically a mirrored versions of each other and the wings are a build of x4 of the same thing. The completed model The model looks rather good. It has a flicker-cannons (?). You can open the glass dome and the top dome so you can put a minifig inside. The only issue I have with this model is the size of it comparing it to the last TIE Fighter. But then again when I look at -> <- it MIGHT actually be the right size. EDIT: One thing that you might find a bit annoying are the wings. They are NOT attached like in the old Vader's TIE meaning they don't have certain "steps" of possible arrangement if you know what I mean. Here you can fold the wings to whatever position you want (well.. "inside" at least). This means that if you open up the wings and put in on a table or whatever flat surface, they MIGHT fold back in a bit which will make the model fall. It's not really something that will make this model a NO, but still it's tad annoying. Overall opinion The model is nothing extraordinary. It's a standard TIE set and it will look good with the other TIEs in your collection. The minifigs tho, are a MUST! Minifigures: 10/10 Parts: 6/10 Build: 5/10 Price: 8/10 - I'll just say I found this set on an auction for 200 PLN (about 46 euros) and for that - it IS a pretty good price. Like I said, I did overpay for it at the local toy store. Design: 8/10 Playability: 9/10 Overall: 46/60 = 77%

    HMS Protector WIP

166B Hello! This is my first time sharing a creation on Eurobricks so be nice. I have wanted to build a ship for a while but never had the time, in fact, I really couldn't be bothered, but when by prefab hull came in the post, I knew this was something I really wanted to pursue. So here she be: My_First_Ship1 by spud_the_viking, on Flickr Not much just now but a start. The bow needs some work and the back is a bit too shabby to show Comments and Criticisms very welcome and I need some help/ideas to help me out! Hope you like it, Spud PS. [ MOC ] Medical Ship "White Whale"

When Tony Stark decides to leave the arm-dealing field, he sets up Stark Resilient, which aims to put his technology to the city to benefit the needed people. This time, he puts his arc reactor on the medical ship, and that helps reduce the transport time for patients to the hospitals and makes in-the-air surgery possible. The arc reactor engines are small and powerful, so that the ship can have more space for other uses. Tony meets the team of medical staff at the launch of new medical ship. Overview of the ship, which is quite bulky. Probably that gives people a more "caring and steady" feel for transporting the injured. Side view, and front view below. The cockpit has two seats, and the higher back one can be closed sideways so as to give access to the front seat. And yes, it is a little futuristic era to see the blue transparent panel. Maybe the front should have the same, now I realize! The top is the core of the energy source. The new repulsor engine in action. Normal; flipping out shields and turning backwards for rear thrust.... The back, which has two doors to ensure that the inside is sealed off from the outside, since this ship allows in-the-air surgery. The inside is a well equipped surgery room, with all the necessary medical supplies and tools. "Relax, and we will soon arrive at the hospital for a more thorough check." Thanks for checking!

[LDD MOC] Coroner - 22 gun brig

LDD/MLCad 14B Thus the day has come, mates. The sea is calling, gulls have already lost their voices trying to cry out our names. The sea is calling, and once you hear this call, you lose a part of your own soul - perhaps the best part of it. Sea relishes your soul in its bottomless throat like a breath of a fragrant captain grog. Sea is always hungry and often it's not against the idea of devouring your flesh too. Let it be another day! With the greatest of pleasure I proudly present to you this brig, the pearl of my shipyards. Its high speed and maneuverability allow to conduct battle with larger vessels and successfully overtake smaller ships. The lightness of the hull allows this beauty to rush through the waves like see cheetah. 22 cannons can guarantee - no enemy will leave unpunished! You can find the ship here: Thanks for watching!

    MOC - The Sea Hawk

--------------------------------------- The Black Falcon Flies Again - Part 1 25 years ago Lord Durstan of Highmountain led his people in rebellion against the Crown. At first it went well, but after months of fighting the young Crown Prince brought reinforcements from the capital. Defeated and wounded by the Prince himself, Durstan had no choice but to end his ambitions of independence. For more than two decades he has been away from home, a loyal courtier in the royal castle. But he still remembers Highmountain in his dreams. He dreamt of it the night the Chamberlain woke him, with news that the King had an errand for him. The Chamberlain took Durstan through the city, down towards the docks. There was trouble in Highmountain, he told him; rumblings of war. The King wanted Durstan to return home and restore the Crown's order. They arrived at the docks and Durstan saw it: his own ship, repainted in the King's colours but as proud as when he'd last seen it quarter of a century ago. The Sea Hawk. The King himself was there to see them off. Durstan swore his loyalty and promised to do what he could to restore order. And then they took to sea, and finally he was homeward-bound again. -------------- This is my first large-scale MOC. I never quite lost interest in Lego, but I didn't build anything for a long time. My dad loved it, though - he was a long-term AFOL. He didn't build his own things, but he liked looking at what others made and would often tell me excitedly about the latest sets. Late last year he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I built this while he was ill and finished it after his death a few months ago. I like to think he'd be pleased with it. This one's for him. Janjy
  20. Set Title: MetalBeard's Sea Cow Set #: 70810 Theme: The LEGO Movie Pieces: 2741 Minifigures: 6 Year of Release: 2014 Price at Release: USD 249,99/ EUR 249,99 /GBP 169,99 I had the joy of receiving this giant box yesterday and since noone seems to have done a review of it yet, I thought it'd be a good opportunity to do my part for this little community of ours ^^ So here goes. I admit, I shamelessly ripped off Clone O'Patra's structure to help me out in organising my thoughts. BOX this thing is massive. But I'm happy to say that it isn't needlessly so. The content actually takes most of the space inside. The art depicts a really nice dramatic night scene of the ship sailing the sea in the moonlight. Although the LEGO Movie takes a little too much space to my taste. And on the bottom right corner, we have the regular call out of all the minifigs included. Those figs are also better shown on the side of the box Then the back shows many of the features included in the set. CONTENTS obviously, 2700+ pieces count for something. They come in multiple bags numbered 1 to 9 (two or three per number) plus an extr aone containing the mast and sail pieces and the hull pieces were loose in the box The instruction book is a massive 287-page volume. this comes with the standard pieces call out before each step and was prety easy to follow. It even has the 1:1 image of some of the more confusing pieces when their length matters. Unfortunately, the set also comes with a sticker sheet. I was quite disappointed to sea the treasure maps on it too. BUILD The whole build took me around 7 hours to complete (since I'm a junkie, I did it all in one go) the first bag contains a first set of minifigs and a mini MetalBeard (which I counted among the minifigs but since he is brickbuild, I guess it's a matter of opinion ) A few pieces I'd never seen before : some miniature version of the ball joints and a different grapling hook Part two comes with the other figs, the micro managers and the famous double decker couch. And part 3 begins building the ship proper, starting with the hull and the gun deck Part 4 then adds more guns on the sides It also came with an interesting piece I'd never encountered : a 2x2 round tile with a hole in the middle Part 5 builds the round parts of the front and back of the hull, using the same technique as in the Imperial Flagship (another favourite set of mine) Then we build the rear cabin which contains the armory and some sort of engine. I assume it's for all the propellers at the back 7 adds the captain's cabin and one of the mast. This is where the sheer size of the ship starts making taking pictures a bit tricky. Also it was getting late and the light didn't really help... Bags 8 contains the rest of the masts and sails that are directly attached to the ship And finally, we build the middle deck and the steam engine. All in all, that was a very enjoyable build with quite a few nice surprises hidden here and there. MINIFIGS The set comes with Benny, Wyldstyle (are you Djing?), Emmet, Vitruvius, Queasy Kitty and MetalBeard (I'll get back to him in a minute) Since I don't have any other movie set, I assume they're the same (Emmet is from the promo polybag). Except for Queasy Kitty. She has a nice sick shade of green and her face is a printed piece. Also, I have to admit I'm a little disappointed in Benny's helmet. I realise they can't really break every model they make for the sake of accuracy but that mold still looks kind of weird. All the regular figs come with variant back printed head. Although I had to look really hard to spot the difference on Wyldstyle's (the bottom of her eye dots look like she's slightly squinting or something) Now Mini Metal Beard on the other hand, I really like. The ymanaged to capture his look in mini form pretty well. It even comes with an anchor on his peg leg and a shark on his right hand Although admittedly, the back is a little bland and he is rather hard to set in any sort of interesting action pose Then come the two micro managers The big one comes with hidden flick fire missiles on the sides an a radar dish that folds down from his back (the stand isn't included) And the smaller one is a cutesie that spits a net from its mouth SET And now for the actual set. Let's start with the really important part : the double decker couch, of course. This is where I must be more of an Emmet than a master builder, because I actually find the idea pretty nice (it doesn't come wit hidden compartments, though) And the ship That thing is huge. I called Benny to help me give a sense of scale The front view And the back. There should be a few stickers on there but I'm still on the fence on whether I should apply them or not... A few pieces of interest : the machine gun attached to the front mast. It looks really nice, although a little impractical since it cannot swivel left or right. The figure at the top of the highest mast reminds me of the head of one of those white parrots with yellow feathers on the back of their head. I don't know if that's what they were aiming for but I find it a nice touch none the less. The place where MetalBeard drives the ship looks like a giant armchair but I could'nt make him fit in there. As I said, his posability isn't too great although they did it on the box art, so it's obviously doable The shipcan be separated in three parts for easy access to the captain's cabin and the gun deck below The central piece even has some hidden gems tucked in the beams At the back of the top deck, there is a nice looking telescope, too And then just below is the captain's cabin. All those 4x4 tiles are supposed to be treasure maps and blueprints but I haven't applied the stickers. Tere shold also be a portrait on the 4x2 brown tile on he wall. Also, I have no idea what that thing along the window is supposed to be. It sort of looks like a morse machine or a stapler. It confuses me a little. But the other side has an inkpot and a ship in a bottle and some rhum on a shelve Finally, there is the armory/engine room with a nice candelbra hanging from the ceiling. It's accessible by the front or the sides that can be opened for easier access CONCLUSION I love it. It's big, full of nifty little details and the whole thing looks impressive while its proportions makes it a little cartoonish. Not an easy combination but they pulled it off anyway. It's definitely worth its value. I'm really glad LEGO started making those higher price ranges where the designers go crazy on the stuff they can include.

    Hispaniola

168A Hi, I’d like to present my latest MOC – HMS Hispaniola – based on the ship from Robert Louis Stevenson’s greatest book „ Treasure Island” of course. The ship itself is a improved version of my previous ship – HMS Enterprize. I change colour scheme, stern and rigging - but still it is the weakest part of the ship. I also change the sails - they are the same but I taped it by rope, so they are rigid, look very good and doesn't shred. I also change a bit the masts and spars. I based the appearance of the ship from the "Treasure Island" movie with Charlton Heston as a Long John Silver and Christian Bale as Jim Hawkings (from 1990) but my ship isn't a true copy of the ship from the movie ( in the movie it was used the replica of HMS Bounty built in 1960 specially to the “Mutiny on the Bounty” movie from 1962 with Marlon Brando). Btw. I think this movie is a best screening of Robert Louis Stevenson's book and one of the best movies about pirates with great soundtrack also. So let’s sing that old pirate song: "Fifteen men on the dead man's chest—Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!" and see the pictures The main characters ( I purposely use from Long John Silver Redbeard's head and hat, because I don't know how to build minifigure similar to Long John Silver from movie) short story: and few screenshots of " Hispaniola" from the movie " Treasure Island" folder with all pics - http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=548938 - avilable when public

[MOC] Spanish (custom) ship "El Principito"

167B Hello once more, I've been busily building stuff in October, so here is another MOC - and once again the ship is pretty small. I have called it "El Principito" (The Little Prince) :pir-sweet: I wanted to build a ship that is not based on a usual hull. Having started in white, it soon became obvious that it had to be a Spanish ship (following the example of the "Armada Flagship" in the old days). Also, the galion was hinting in this direction. Spanish!!! Captain Eduardo is quite happy with his ship and his crew of conquistadors: The ship is not too heavily armed... Here it is sailing away... .. but there is one strange guy on board - maybe he is the real captain: :monkey: I am quite happy with the result (although the model has a tendency to topple...) A storyline regarding the adventures of the Spanish crew of the "El Principito" is in preparation. I hopy you like the MOC - I am waiting for feedback.

    MOC - REVENGE

Hello. My most recent MOC and a new addition to the Galaxy Command Universe I created. This frigate was developped after Earth's liberation war. With the nebulons vanquished and with so much tech lost in the debris, that could be used, the HUN (Humanity's United Nations) developped a new kind of ship capable of defeating nebulon capital ships still roaming the emptiness of space. Each ship has two pilots, 8 marines an one Inquisitor or an Executor :D If you wanna know more just ask! Bricks: ca 2300 360º turntable in cockpit and wings two spring shooter hidden in hull compartment Let me hear your thoughts The link for ideas - If you could also help reach 10000 voters, I'd appreciate that - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/82734 Thanks! Cheers!

    MOC: R.S. Neptune

UPDATE it's a WIP now More in last post _________________________________________________________________________________________ [pid][/pid] 150D Hi Here's my latest MOC. This is Redcoats Ship Neptune: And with the crew: She is a 2-gun-deck ship built with a slope-tumblehome technique: An eagle-eye view: As she was built as a playable toy for my kids, Neptune is very solid. It is the first MOC I started to build - but finished second - after Redskull sloop. I also thought that Neptune will be my opus magnum, but that's not true - I am already working on another ship (for bluecoats) which will be better for sure. Here's another look on Neptune's brave crew: The poop deck: Let's look into captain's cabin: Redcoating ain't easy... Cabin is also accesible from the stern: Like this: Stern: Here you can see hammocks: Gundeck is also accesible: Capstan works for both anchors and crane. Sorry for a bit fuzzy pictures. Neptune was built to chase and fight pirate ships: QAR, BP and aforementioned Redskull. That's why she has untypical rigging with four masts (with machine sewn PvC fabric sails). Here's my BS folder (when public) C&C welcomed Ahoy!
