  1. I made Instructions for my MOC: 10211 Grand Emporium Alternative buildwith the theme of "Wedding Hall"You can make this Alternative build only using parts of 10211 lego set, without any extra bricks.Model design, Instructions by Inyong Lee Store pages: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-10211-alternative-build-instructions/132595113153?hash=item1edf48dcc1:g:Vs4AAOSwdMBa3hef https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-14248/InyongBricks/10211-alternative-build/

    [WIP/LDD] Star destroyer 1:250

Hello, my plan is to make a battle szene with mortesv Nebulon B and the Correlian Corvette, both are scale 250:1 And this is the problem, a "in scale" 1600m Star destroyer would be 640cm long. Far more space and bricks i can effort. So im building simultaneously in LDD and real the nose and just the nose of a Star destroyer. The greebling height is aproximately 12Studs in this scale. Picture quality of the studio model is rare if someone has a good reference i would appreciate if you could share the link. Found plenty of different versions of greebling around the star destroyer. To make things a little bit more comlicated i try to design this as an alternate build of the 10030 and use only the original parts. This will cause a few compromises. This is the actual progress in LDD AND real bricks.

  4. It's been quite a while since I last created a topic here on EB, but recently started a lot of building again, and want to share some of those here :) A while ago I bought 75084 Wookiee Gunship, but I didn't really like the set itself, so I decided to built a MOC using just the parts in the set. Here is the original btw: And here is my alternate build: 75084 Wookiee Gunship Alternate Build by Lego TWP, on Flickr 75084 Wookiee Gunship Alternate Build by Lego TWP, on Flickr As far as alternate builds go, I think I've done a pretty good job. It even won't fall apart when I hold it xD 75084 Wookiee Gunship Alternate Build by Lego TWP, on Flickr Usually alternate builds feature very messy underside's, but IMO this one looks kind of okay 75084 Wookiee Gunship Alternate Build by Lego TWP, on Flickr It features opening cockpit, rotating cannons and space to place a storage crate. As you can see, I didn't apply the stickers originally supplied with the set. Wonder what it will look like with them applied, but I'd like to use the parts for future builds ;)
  5. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what issue, or does anyone have a copy of the piece? I’ve been looking for a while and would love to play the alternate ending! https://biosector01.com/wiki/BIONICLE:_Quest_for_Makuta Photo of alternate ending piece here: http://bionicle-sell...nate_Ending.jpg Please message me if you know anything about the piece! 7. Hello. My first Technic set was the 9390 Tow Truck. It was 2012 and I star building alternate models for this set. I found it to be a very useful set of pieces. I managed to build 3 different models, all functional and (I think) good looking models. I released "instructions" in Rebrickable. What I did back then was to upload the LDD file. A week ago I decided to make instructions according to my new parameters. The models appear in a single PDF. You can fin the instructions in http://shop.dagupa.net/ What I want is to ask you guys is if you have any different alternate model that you want to share. I will give proper credit to the author and I will eliminate the watermark. Each model will have a cover page and information about its designer (name, nickname or web site). If you want your model to be included in this compilation, please share the LDD or LDraw file, I'll do the rest. Color scheme and render options will remain the same for all models. The idea is that anyone can publish the PDF with all the alternate models, including mine and yours. Also, I'd like to add custom instructions to the original A and B models, but I think It's not possible because of Copyright. It's all about making a tribute to a set the engaged me into the Technic System Models so far:
  8. LEGO TECHNIC C-MODEL INDEX ***Index under construction - please add your suggestions and comments to the C-Model Index Discussion topic here, rather than commenting on this topic. This is a (slow!) work in progress, so please be patient *** Welcome to the C-Model Index! It aims to help you answer the question: "I've got set (X)XXXX - what can I build with it?" (or "I can't bear to mix up my sets' parts", or "I only want to take apart one model at a time" ). Missing a great C-model? Broken link? Wrong info? Let me know in the discussion topic. There have been some excellent alternate builds or C-Models showing up lately. I'm a big fan of these, as they open up new opportunities for those of us without a huge collection of spare parts, and in my view every one increases the value of the set in question. It's obviously a big challenge for the designer to work from a restricted pool of parts, and it's clear that certain sets lend themselves well to alternate builds. I also get frustrated when I come across a great C-Model topic, which I then can't find again later. So as my small contribution to EB, here is what I hope might become the definitive C-Model index, helping us all keep track of these great models, and in many cases, their instructions. Rules for inclusion: Uses parts from only one set; That's about it! Index structure: taking into account the useful suggestions of other eurobrickers, I've decided on the following structure: An index of sets is further down this first post (organised by date and set number); Each set will have its own post below. This keeps the index organised by set, so that all the C-Models for a given set are kept together; Each set's post includes, where known, the details of EB topic, youtube video, instructions, and part count; Sets' posts are listed in no particular order - use the links in this index post to find the set you want; If a set number doesn't appear in the list, it's because either A) no C-Models exist yet (in which case go and design one!), or B) I haven't found them (in which case point me towards it by commenting in the discussion topic); C-Models are listed in no particular order. Where individuals have listed their creations as C-Model, D-Model, etc, I have ignored this and called them all C-Models, because each designer's classification doesn't work when all compiled together; Part counts are taken for a variety of sources, and may therefore not quite match up (and can lead to percentages over 100%, for example); Limits on the number of media files per post means some (42039, I'm looking at you!) are split up into multiple posts. 2016 42055 Bucket Wheel Excavator (5) [New] 42054 CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC (7) [New] 42053 Volvo EW160E (1) [New] 42052 Heavy Lift Helicopter (2) [New] 42048 Race Kart (4) [New] 42045 Hydroplane Racer (1) 2015 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 (5) 42042 Crawler Crane (6) 42039 24 Hours Race Car part 1 / part 2 (15) [Updated] 42038 Arctic Truck (8) [Updated] 42037 Formula Off-Roader (1) 42036 Street Motorcycle (3) 42035 Mining Truck (3) 2014 42025 Cargo Plane (4) 42024 Container Truck (7) 42022 Hot Rod (3) 42021 Snowmobile (2) 42020 Twin Rotor Helicopter (3) 2013 42010 Off-road Racer (1) 42009 Mobile Crane MKII (8) 42008 Service Truck (4) 42000 Grand Prix Racer (8) 2012 9398 4x4 Crawler (6)
  9. My seventh alternate of Lance's Mecha Horse 70312. The train features working pushrods, detachable car, can fit all three minifigures and has enough storage space for all their weapons. Tutorial available here www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1vdRJ3hg5A

    [MOC] 60117 alternate mocs

Hi, I've made several alternates using just the pieces from Lego city 60117 set. 1.Dump truck. Euro style dump truck with balanced color scheme. 2. Convertible. Some neat SNOT windscreen positioning and other stylish details. 3. SUV and trailer. Sleek looking SUV with a functional trailer. 4. Explorer VAN. Same like in the original design a VAN but this time it has higher clearance is more suitable for off road exploration 5. Cabrio. Dialing in some wild snot segments in the construction so that the lady has herself a cool and fast cabrio car. Thanks for watching!
  12. My 6th alternate of 70312 features moving head, fully poseable arms and legs, opening chest cockpit that can fit Lance's bot. The Mecha Knight can hold the shield and lance in his hands, has a protective neck shield, shoulder cannon and armpit missiles. The whole figure can be seated and his left leg can kick some butt. Scroll down for tutorial.

[MOC] Lego city 60121 alternate models

Hi, All! Here are some alternate models I've made with pieces of lego city 60121 Vulcano explorer set. At first I thought that it's going to be really hard to make any alternate from this city set but after some playing with bricks I came up with several designs. 1. Off road racer 2. TT truck 3. SUV Thanks for watching!
  16. Hi Guys here is my first MOC in a little while. It is an alternative model for set 42024. Unfortunately It has way too many parts to be able to enter it in the current competition but since alternate models are the flavour of the month I thought a few of you might appreciate it it anyway. I found this was a complicated set to moc from due to all the different colours and lack of a good quantity of parts in any one colour. It uses about 95% of the parts from the set. I will post a couple of pics here and you can check out the whole thing at my moc pages.
  17. My first alternate build of Clay's Falcon Blaster Fighter 70351. The plane tilts the wings and rotors, the six stud shooters on the wings can be tilted as well. The flick fire missiles are attached to the rear wing. The front cockpit section can be detached and easily turned into an escape pod with opening canopy. The secondary cockpit for Clay's bot can be opened as well. The plane also has a storage for Clay's sword and shield and a cargo space for the chest with an extra Nexo Power in the rear.
  18. The pigeon can fit Lance and his Bot in the opening cockpit, the moving wings hide tiltable missile launchers, the beak can open and the whole neck can be tilted, same for the tail with jet thrusters. Underneath the tail you can find a storage space for Lance's lance and shield.
  19. Lance's Cobra My 4th alternate of LEGO 70312 Lance´s Mecha Horse. The Cobra spaceship features attacking function, shooting missiles, hidden thrusters and articulated tail section. The head cockpit can fit Lance´s Bot and Lance can sit just behind the head of the snake. Building Tutorial available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roegfumTByw
  20. This is my original lego design base on KTM X-Bow. I only use the parts from set 31024. I really like the looks of the KTM X-Bow so I build one. Thanks for watching Watch review video here: Build instruction in LDD : Go to my blog for more high resolution photos. http://yoshinydesign...nate-build.html
  21. Set 31052 is really well done and it offers three very different models - RV, ship and house. So what can I add? Plane! It is inspired by LEGO City Ambulance Plane (set 60116) and uses just about half of set parts. I think it's not bad result for limited time and effort I've put in. It features opening windscreen, cargo door and roof. Last but main feature is described in little bonus story bellow. BONUS STORY Somewhere in wilderness... The plane is really able to carry bear - this is a proof:
  22. Hi everybody, I am happy to present my second alternate model of the 5767 Creator set. Nathanael's incredible alternate F1 car built from the parts of the 10248 F40 inspired me to create an alternate model myself. There are not too many features: just opening doors, opening bonnet and replacable engine cover. I hope you like it. As usual: Rates, critiques and comments are highly appreciated. 23. Lance's Plane & Trike My 3rd alternate model of Lance's Mecha Horse. The plane features a spinning propeller, working missiles, opening cockpit and detachable shield. The trike rolls on the ground and uses Flamethrower's mohawk for aiming the arrow gun. Both the models are surprisingly solid.
  24. Lance's Dragster The second alternate build of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Lance's Mecha Horse 70312. The VTOL plane can tilt and spin all four engines, features opening cockpit and cargo bay, folds the weapons for mid-air jousting. Flamethrower is riding a combat scooter and Lance's bot is flying the hovershield. The building tutorial can be again found in my Youtube channel.
  25. Well I have not built a model for a while. This is the fist one all year. I have had plans to do a c model to the 42038 snow vehicle since it came out but since there have been at least a couple of other c models made to this set, One very good one by Buster Haus, I put my plans on hold a while. The model has the following features. Doors open close. Front blade raise and lower via twin in cab lever. spring loaded to hold in up or down position. Front blade adjustable to 5 positions left to right...with locking pin. Front blade tilt via linear actuator running off PTO. Central gearbox behind cab to switch between front and rear PTO. Rear groomer raise and lower via twin lever next to rear tray . spring loaded to hold in up or down position. Rear groomer tilt via linear actuator running off PTO. can adjust between rake only, rake and scrape, and scrape only. Small crane behind cab can turn lift and winch. Enjoy :) See all the pics at my bricksafe http://bricksafe.com...38-snow-groomer Cheers Henry
