    Hello! This is my contest entry for Category B: Minifigure Lineup. Description: “For centuries, the Order of Bookkeepers kept watch over a library of thousands of ancient books containing stories and legends from kingdoms all over the world. However, many of these books disappeared throughout the ages, and their contents have been lost to history. Asimov, the last remaining Bookkeeper, sends his lone pupil Christie out into a fantastical land of magic and mystery to seek out the lost tomes and restore their knowledge to the world. Christie will brave daring challenges and make surprising allies on her quest to rebuild the library, perhaps creating a few stories of her own along the way.” Each set contains at least one “tome,” a unique book associated with a character or location in that set; they can all be collected and stored in the mid-tier set “Asimov’s Library.” This theme was inspired by my love for reading fantasy stories as a child, and designed to be less focused on conflict than other LEGO themes and more focused on exploration and discovery. Minifigures: Christie When she isn’t falling asleep during one of Asimov’s endless lectures, Christie can typically be found nestled deep in his library with a book in hand, dreaming of going on some fantastical adventure beyond the walls of her quiet town. She’s nervous about embarking on her first quest, but excited for the chance to finally live out her fantasies. Brontë As the self-proclaimed queen of the spiders, Brontë is used to getting singled out as the “bad guy” even if she doesn’t mean anyone any harm. Living in a spooky forest probably doesn’t help, but hopefully someone will come along who’s able to look past her frightening exterior. Shelley Shelley will tell anyone who asks that she dreams of becoming a famous pirate one day, but for now she’s content adventuring with Christie to seek out “tomes” or whatever they’re looking for. She wasn’t paying a lot of attention during the mission briefing, honestly. Joyce Joyce is a mischievous but kind-hearted fairy who loves playing pranks on unsuspecting adventurers. Her favorite pastime is spreading rumors about the “fierce dragon” that guards a vast hoard of treasure in the Shimmering Glade, neglecting to mention that it’s a loyal pet of hers who wouldn’t harm a fly. Asimov As the last of the Bookkeepers, Asimov wishes more people would share his passion for learning and worries that all of his work will soon be forgotten. Still, he’s proud of how far his pupil has come and confident that she’ll succeed on her journey. The Librarian’s Ghost The ghost has spent years haunting the castle where he once served as a Royal Bookkeeper, hoping that someone will come along and find the tome he devoted decades of his life to writing. Doyle Doyle’s fear of heights make his profession as an airship captain’s first mate rather questionable, but his fierce loyalty makes him a valuable ally even when he’s scared out of his wits. Captain Hemingway The honorable Captain Hemingway has spent most of his life navigating the Seven Skies in his airship, carrying intrepid adventurers on countless voyages to distant lands around the world. Just played around with some ideas for a new hexagonal part you could use for tabletop-games like "Settlers of Catan" etc. By the way: Please support my "Life-Sized Human Skull" project on LEGO Ideas (if you haven't done jet)! :-) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/142026 Thanks! --- UPDATE 01 --- Some more experiments with my hexagonal building bricks... @DraikNova: As you see above you can easily extend the distance between the "bases" by inserting plates or bricks inbetween them (so you could easily place a 4x4 round plate or brick on top of them). By using bricks with side-studs (as the green one in the bottom-left corner) you could also add extra playfields you could step or build on. The spacing betwen the hexagonal bricks would also allow to make "impassable gaps" (as you can see at the blue brick on the right side). --- UPDATE 02 --- Slightly updated my design by "drilling" holes in the side-studs and changing the connection on top of the brick (1 stud instead of 4, so the 2x2 round plates can rotate freely). As Eurobricks-user Philo mentioned there might be a little problem in connectiong the pieces directly, but if you build "bridges" between them, the connection should work just fine - and you can also place different bricks on the inside of the triangular spaces (in this example a 2x2 round brick with plate on top).
  3. I’ve checked every site I could think of that has anything Lego and in every country Bionicle came out, but have not found the alternate ending tile for the quest for Makuta board game. I’m pretty sure it’s a typo, but biosector says it was distributed in a copy of Lego magazine. Does anyone know what issue, or does anyone have a copy of the piece? In the Section of Dark Sorcery of the Library of Cedrica a book was found, which stated that the Eternal Warmth of Charonne can be found in a cave at the side of Erezhi, the Lonely Mountain. Unfortunately no other hint was given what it was, and how to get it. Assuming the source of any warmth could be some kind of fire, Lasvor took a lantern with him. He hired a horse in Cedrica (the Mountain is a few days away even on horseback) and hit the road. He found the cave relatively easily since local folks knew and feared the Mountain greatly. When he wanted to enter the cave, green smoke arose from a hole that was near the entrance, and a genie took shape from it. “I am the Guardian of the Cave and I am here to warn all those lost souls who dare to enter!   24. Prelude: Chapter I After Chapter I, the Alleenridders dismounted from their horses when they arrived at the Rakath Mountains, to continue their quest by foot. The scouts of the I.A.M.S. marked the path so they could easily find the entrance, which let to the deepest places of Historica. From here on off, the Alleenridders had to be carefull, as the smallest mistake could mean the end of the quest… Somewhere where Lord Damaximus was sure nobody could watch it, he revealed to Lord Max Samu and Sir Emehci Ssdowa his plans to kill Lloth for eternity. To ensure the success of the plan, the other Alleenridders were left clueless. Chapter II of the Quest of the Alleenridders to eliminate Lloth and Valsharess After weeks of wandering deep inside the Rakath Mountains, hundreds of meters below the sea-level, the Alleenridders finally arrived at the place from where Lloth rules the underground and the undead people living there. Luckily for our heroes, the place was lit by a gigantic stream of lava traversing the enormous cave. The only way to reach the other side were some small cobblestones in the river of fire. Looking around, they could figure out that there was a kind of a fortress integrated into the cave, with a big entrance guarded by 2 heavy armoured skeletons. There were also some ghosts flying around, giving the whole place a very creepy atmosphere… Suddenly, a loud, female voice breaks the silence: “Hahahaha Damaximus, I couldn’t believe my ears when my spies told me that you were coming!!! I always found you a fool, but I never could imagine that you were stupid enough to face me a second time! Sir Ssdowa, let’s switch weapons!” And so the battle started, being outnumbered, the Alleenridders had their hands full with skeletons and ghosts… But fear was not yet introduced to them, so they fought like lions… Lloth was striking magic missiles after magic missiles, but somehow they were always absorbed by the shield that the guy who was representing Lord Damaximus was holding. Indeed, the guy who was representing Lord Damaximus… Because suddenly he jumped aside, piercing his Ximian Spear into Lloth… (Lloth) “How is this possible, I feel pain! How can you hurt me!! But without you noticed it, we had one small victory. We saved the child of Lady Vahn and teached him to become a famous gladiator so he could kill you slowly.
