  1. The set 8445 (Indy Storm) is a beautiful race car, it was the last studded set before lego technic goes studless. I start with the steering system It was the most difficult part to replicate due to its size.
  2. as my first moc on this site i would like to introduce my 42039 f1 c model moc it reatures: hog steering, fake engine, suspension , and drs activator pros: very durable, and light (850 grams) cons: bump steer, and ugly drs activator Aventador2004 Updated pics coming soon full gallery at bricksafe (first version, not the updated one)
  3. To celebrate the new season of Formula 1 and the new cars, I thought I would give my 42000 an update. What started as a small refresh turned into a project The changes: -Chassis w/ simpler DRS controls -Front and rear suspension, wheel hubs -Lower, more sculpted nose -Front and rear wings, diffuser -Removable, one-piece engine cover -Turbo V6 -New mirrors -Perhaps most importantly, the car has proper rake
  4. Lego Technic Ferclaren M23 and S23 Bolides (Free Building Instructions) Those are latest and most advanced M23 and S23 bolides models of Ferclaren Racing Team. Each model has 4 Technic functions: rotation of the front left wheel rotation of the front right wheel rotation of the back left wheel rotation of the back right wheel Overall, those functions give capability to move these models with enormous speed in lego world. Those robust models passed many children quality tests and proved they great playability. If you interested in building those advanced models by yourself the download links are below the images. 7. Main model from LEGO Technic set 42037 - Formula Off-Roader doesn't resemble formula at all so I tried to build something closer to formula out of its parts. Since it has huge wheels I call my alternative model "Off-road Formula". It features steering, independent suspension and V4 engine. I began building it more than one year ago and got stuck with front axle. It was the most difficult part of whole model because I had very limited sort of parts - this set lacks connectors, blue 3L pins (it contains just 9 of them) and there are no 5L liftarms in it. Even designers from LEGO decided to build front axle of official B model without suspension...
  8. Today I have created with my good friend @Aventador2004, a formula car using the parts from 9394 and 8041 limited edition sets. We each did a fair share of work on this build, but he did a little more as he knows more techniques. Features. Hand of god steering. Moving steering wheel. Operational 6 piston engine. rear differential. We put two sets of tires on the car, please leave your opinion down below. And as always feedback welcome! @Aventador2004 and I will be commenting back on this project, leave all technical stuff to him and detail work to me. Thanks for viewing now here are some pics.
  9. Yes, I am late. But all the ideas for this project are made, I just have to combine them. I'm gonna leave you with a list of functions excluding the wacky one. I'll leave you guys to guess it, it's really obvious. -HoG Steering -Adjustable ground clearance (offroad/street mode) -v8 engine -wacky function Here are the pictures: Leave a comment! PS This isn't done yet.
  10. Good Day ! Finally got to dissasemble my 8649 and wanted to use all the beautiful lime parts for something. While searching for inspiration, I found this video about how canopies could save lives in F1 racing. After that the decision was done , I must make an open-wheel racer with canopy. Horrible driving because for not overloading the receiver I connected an m-motor with worm drive to a 9v switch , which controls the Buggy Motor (what else can be used in a race car) . The system works well apart from the fact that braking is very difficult due to slow feedback. I definetly will get a 3rd party bluetooth receiver soon, because I love using the buggy motor in my mocs. In the exterior design part , a book about F1 came very handy. I fell in love with the old panels while building this car, they are so cool For the power source, I used a 2000mah 9v battery with my custom adapter. As for the functions , I got : Working steering wheel Openable canopy Working front lights Sorry for bad quality photos , my "studio" is too small for this car and the ones that I took outside were really bad. 11. Lance's Dragster The second alternate build of LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Lance's Mecha Horse 70312. The VTOL plane can tilt and spin all four engines, features opening cockpit and cargo bay, folds the weapons for mid-air jousting. Flamethrower is riding a combat scooter and Lance's bot is flying the hovershield. The building tutorial can be again found in my Youtube channel.
  12. Hello people, here is my WIP of the TC5 competition. It is made with the 42001 set and parts of the 8066 set. I have the 42001 set but I don't have the 8066 set so I gathered its parts from my collection. All of the pieces to recreated the 8066 are the same color and model. This is not finished and I will update this post. Here it is: I used my small camera reflector background to make a teaser/confusing effect. more updates soon
  13. Hello everyone! First I have to say, that I'm new here and this is my first MOC ever, so it's not as good as I imagined it to be. It's a bit inspired by Crowkillers model 42083 B Model Bugatti Formula 1 Race Car, but most of it are my own ideas. Let's start with a photo! Functions: - Full independent double wishbone suspension - Steering - Fake V8 Engine & RWD - Openable engine hood All the parts are from Chiron 42083 set, as it is the only set I own. I am pretty proud of how it looks, apart from the front suspension. It doesn't look how I wanted it to be, but it's all because of lack of experience and time. There's no gearbox, because I have absolutely zero experience with that and I didn't want to waste a week on that. But maybe in next version... who knows :) I especially like the front wing, which in my opinion is an improvement over Crowkiller's version. Let me know guys what you think!
