  1. The problem: it takes hours and hours of grinding to unlock the good stuff in the Star Wars Battlefront 2 game. The trick: in the Galactic Assault multiplayer mode you get some credits even without scoring any points, provided you don't get kicked for idling. The solution: this LEGO EV3 contraption that uses randomized algorithm to play with the Xbox pad"
  2. May I present an all-new MOD design: --TIE Striker-- Straight from the new film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the TIE Striker is a brilliantly-designed new variant on the original craft. With a wide array of armament and weaponry, and sporting a new atmosphere-friendly design, this TIE variant proves to be a match for even the best Rebel pilots. The Lego Group has released their own version of the craft. There are many things I liked about their design, and given this is a MOD, there are a few similarities in design. What separates this one from their model, however, is the increased range in features and detail. When redesigning the wings, I decided to switch some of the plates with tile pieces. I am one of those Lego builders who prefers tiles over plates for wing designs. Plus, the wings look even sleeker now. In addition, the wings feature front blasters, smaller, custom-designed hinges, and underside accent builds. For the body, I went to the visual guide for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. There are MANY things in that one that, surprisingly, weren't incorporated into the official Lego release (i.e. a second pilot seat, and a storage area for the bombs). I am very pleased to say that this version includes those design characteristics. Starting with the front, I updated the controls for the TIE pilot, which are more minifigure-friendly and realistic. Also, I switched the hatch build with the hatch plate (looks more like the original ship); I updated the front blasters with a new hinge piece, rather than the spring-loaded missiles; and I added some underside blasters as well. The center storage area includes an area for 16 bombs. Also underneath that area, I've included a hatch where those bombs can be deployed/dropped. Finally, as I said previously, the rear end includes an area for a 2nd pilot, as well as controls and handlebars for TIE Pilot operations. The end also includes a redesigned engine, with the familiar engine design of the original craft. I am very excited to share my MOD with you all, and I hope you guys are excited to build it for yourself. MOCpages Please let me know what you think below. God bless!

    [LDD][MOD] Imperial 74-Z Speeder Bike

May I present this new design up for sale:--Imperial 74-Z Speeder Bike-- Many Star Wars fans recognize this vehicle. It's well known from the Endor Speeder Bike chase scene in Return of the Jedi. It's also appeared briefly in Revenge of the Sith, and more recently in Star Wars Battlefront as a playable vehicle in both the training mode and the Endor maps.It goes without saying that LEGO has released several designs based on this vehicle. I went to the source material for inspiration, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Starting at the bow, I included the usual flap & rod design. It's obviously a novelty cliche among LEGO's speeders, but considering they are the best part in LEGO's brick palette, they had to do.What's new about it is the rods are now connected in a very sturdy way, and this way also allows for a small underside blaster, just like the one in the movies.Moving on to the man body, I included the usual handlebar design...as it works really well with the minifigures. I did fix the top of the speeder with some smoother brown pieces to make it look more like the original speeder. Finally, with the stern, I added two things: some parts to mimic a seat, and a rear flap design. I'm still surprised we haven't seen the set of rear flaps in the original LEGO variations, but for now, this one definitely works.I am very excited to share this product with you all, and I hope you guys are excited to build it for yourself. 4. I'm finally ready to introduce a new, originally-designed speeder to you straight from the classic trilogy: --Rebel Troop Carrier-- Based on the speeder used by the Rebel Alliance at Echo Base on Hoth, this speeder isn't the most recognizable among Star Wars fans, but as a vehicle from the films, as well as being featured as a design element on the Hoth maps of Star Wars: Battlefront, it is still a valuable icon of our appreciation. To date, LEGO has only released one version of this speeder. Included as a supplement in their newest hoth set, 75098, it wasn't my favorite. To me, little-to-no detail was put into the build, as it was a very simple build and, surprisingly, much smaller than I'd previously hoped it be. Needless to say, I took it upon myself to create a much more, highly-detailed rendition of the speeder. Using namely the photos of the speeder from The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as inspiration from other LEGO customs designers, I think this speeder turned out great. The scale is perfect for this build. It includes spaces for 4 rebel troops and a driver, as well as 5 spots for easy blaster housing. The front of the model is a very sturdy assembly which houses the different lights seen on the original speeder. It's also built at an angle, just like the real thing. The most challenging aspect of this model was the rear side, as there is a LOT of detail to consider. In the end, I was able to synchronize detail and functionality/playability together, rather than have detail be the "sacrificial lamb: for functinality's sake. The center end opens up so there is more access from the rear side of the speeder for troop entrance. MOCpages Comments welcome. God bless.
  5. This weapon is another one of my favorites from the original trilogy and Star Wars: Battlefront. I was very disappointed, though, with the design included in both 75138 and 75098. It doesn't do the original cannon justice at all. Given that, I decided to try my hand at creating one, and I think it turned out really well. http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/428616 Please let me know what you think in the comments. God bless.

    [LDD][MOC] 1.4 FD P-Tower

This weapon is one of my favorites from the original trilogy. I'm very happy it also made it into the Battlefront game and allowed me to operate it. I was very disappointed, though, with the cannon design in 75098. It doesn't look anywhere close to the original cannon, so I set out to make one myself. I am very happy with the end result. http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/428860 Please let me know what you think in the comments. God bless.
