Winter Garden This diorama was on my wishlist since a long time. My goal was to recreate a welcoming room full of plants and flowers while using many pieces from the Scala, Fabuland and Belville series. I have been collecting these kind of pieces in the past few months, and have finally placed them in my Winter Garden. If you look carefully you'll notice many Scala pieces like the award ribbon, the watering cans, the cloth rug, the chairs, the wicker baskets and the suitcase. Even the white cat waiting for the mouse on the chair. The coffee-table legs are linked via the Scala towel bar, a piece I had never heard of, but very interesting. I also added a couple of Fabuland utensils: the camera on the cabinet and the jerry can. There are many plants and flowers and I used different kind of utensil to create the plants supports (hockey sticks for the cactus, brooms for the ficus). There are many others details and NPU, have fun spotting them! It was very funny building it and it's something different from my usual comfort zone. Hope you like it!

My new Star Wars MOC: Pasaana Everything is ready, units arranged, photos taken I built one universal baseplate, on which I present 3 scenes from The Rise of Skywalker! The width of the base is less than 70cm, so this is the largest model I have built so far. I have a supply of tan bricks for long time I used about 1000 bricks to build the base, it is even difficult to count it, there were many orders on Bricklink. I used my other projects in the scenes: First Order Transporter, TIE Whisper, Pasaana Loader Skimmer with First Order Treadspeeder. Full review and one additional bonus scene on my YouTube! *Your entry has earned 3 XP* Mato's Tale: Chapter IV Their ship coasted through the atmosphere, breaking through the clouds into the world below. Farmland and rolling hills, covered in trees, stretched out below them. Shimmering blue lakes dotted the landscape. Mato, swelling with delight, launched himself from his chair and jabbed a finger at the view screen. He couldn’t hold it in. “Blue water! Finally!” he shouted. Yigs laughed. After requesting clearance, Yigs brought the freighter down to a landing pad near the seashore. She lowered the ramp and Mato steeled himself to go out. Yigs came up along side him and couldn't help but notice the Weequay's jitters. “You ready to see your new home?” Mato nodded, unconvincingly. What if the people of Wayland rejected him? He wasn't like them. He came from an evil life, and had done evil things. He wouldn’t blame them for running him off the planet as soon as he’d arrived. Yigs' face suddenly came into view, smiling kindly. She held out her cloak. “Here, wearing this has always made me feel better. Put that thing on.” Frowning, he took the earth-toned garment from her and tied it around his neck. He had to admit, the weight and drape of the thing did boost his confidence just the slightest. He took a deep breath and they departed the ship. A breeze blew across the landing pad, carrying the salt-scent of the ocean and the fragrances of flowers. Mato was so stunned by the smell that he stopped in his tracks and didn’t think to leave the ramp until Yigs urged him on. They passed droids and humans and non-humans working the small pad and then passed onto an unpaved road into a wooded vale. A Trandoshan and a Wookie spearfished in a nearby river. They cheered and waved when they caught sight of Yigs, while Mato stood a little ways back and watched. “Inseparable, those two,” she told him. “I’ve never seen a place where people genuinely like each other as much as on Wayland. Our leader, Ko-Yode (you’ll meet him soon) says that people in the Core Worlds despair because they’ve lost each other. They’re suspicious of their neighbors, estranged from their families, trying to get something from their friends. They try to dull the pain of not really having anyone. Out here, everyone found each other. Everyone lives for everyone else. There’s trust, and trustworthiness.” Mato understood. “It’s so . . . peaceful. Not like my homeworld at all. Is it all this . . . clean air?” “Well,” Yigs tilted her head. “It’s a lot of work, too.” They passed under wooded canopies accompanied by birdsong, crossed stone bridges, and walked besides patchwork fields and farmland where they were greeted by more colonists. There was nothing they saw at which Mato didn’t marvel. Except for when he was spooked by a butterfly, which Yigs thought was very funny. He could not have imagined a place like this existed from his pit on Nal Hutta. It was as different as could be. Wonderful, new, frightening. It made his life up until now seem like a distant, dark dream.

I made this little thing with +/- 10000 pieces, 6x2 48x48 base plates and it's modular. Campolide station in the 80s, I used as a reference base 2 photos only. It took me about 3 weeks to do it.

So, my first Diorama turned out a big failure. I had too many ideas for too small a space. I took the entire thing apart (wasn't too much work, just a bit of rock work). Now I want to build something again but I'm afraid I'm going to run in to the same problem. Too many ideas for too small a space. Anyway. I'm trying to make a World of Warcraft inspired moc, not too big. 2x3 48x48 baseplates is the maximum. Preferably Horde. So, if any of you have cool ideas, which are not too challenging to make (so no 1 on 1 replica of Ogrimmar or something) but just a cool looking scene. In the future, if this moc works well, I might do more WoW based stuff, maybe even some Alliance. The reason why I want to make something from WoW, is that I love the game (even though I only played it for the last 2 months orso) and looking on Google not a lot of WoW mocs came up. Anyway, thanks in advance!

Good Morning Eurobricks. New to the group. Heard this is the place to speak on anything space related. Glad to be here either way. Let's talk about the build. The front and back are completely done. Shoutout to the lego space book for the prisoner's bed idea, Brilliant. As for the actual brick, you guessed it; all old light gray. With the exception of a few hidden headlight bricks. M-tron panels, three of them up in the back. As well as three box fronts on the top right. The doors directly below open to reveal the armory. Not sure what set they actually came from, but they're cool. In order to keep it sp2 colors i added the solid red bars and trans green glass. The sp2 tiles were an afterthought. Never intended to place four in the build, but...Should I construct a ceiling to truly give it a finished look? Any and all comments welcomed. More dioramas to come!!!

As we are close to Christmas, I wanted to present some photos of my Diorama Winter Village in the full 2018 version, never presented before. This landscape completed in 2016 is the result of 5 years of work. Each building from the smallest to the largest has been built with a continuous search for quality and study in the details of the interior furnishings. The diorama currently consists of 42 bases of 32x32 studs with 300 minifigs and over 62,000 pieces. I was fortunate to have been called to exhibit my complete work at the "Palacio de Gaviria" art museum, Madrid, Spain for a period of 3 months from 10 December 2018 to 24 February 2019. On my Flickr profile you can see some other photos as a whole and in the other Albums you can see the details of each individual building that make up the village. Hey Eurobricks! Here is my latest build based on the Disney Frozen movie we picked Arendelle Castle for my 2 daughters to enjoy. The castle is surrounded by water and a massive 4 foot tall mountain in a 7x8 baseplate layout. There are 5 waterfalls that light up in addition to the main castle building. Getting ready for Brickworld Chicago in June. Hope you enjoy! [WIP][MOC] Echo Base Hanger Display for UCS Millennium Falcon

Not one to start small for a few weeks now I've been working on flushing out the Echo Base Hanger display I want to build for my UCS Millennium Falcon. I've been planning this since the set was announced but couldn't really start till I had the set in hand to base everything off. It will be in a glass coffee table I'll be building to display it. The planned layout is currently 47.5" by 41.75" but I may go to 47.5" x 47.5". I'm going to use Stricklybricks 50x50 baseplates with one set getting trimmed down. I'm trying to be as accurate as possible and get all the little details I'm finding as I research that I haven't seen before. This will also display some of the rest of my collection so the ships inside will be a mix besides the Falcon. My 99 X-Wing and probably one of Cehnot's beauties and 4 different official speeder sets spanning the years. I'm using Migui94's Falcon as a placeholder as I work to confirm sizing in addition to the physical test layout I have set up. I see that last week Cehnot also started basically the same project with similar goals but he is going for the whole hanger while I only have room for some of it with size limitation. Can't wait to see his take shape and maybe collaborate on a few elements. I'm building in Stud.io first since I don't have the money to start buying all the bricks and figure it out by physical trial and error. So to get started with where I am at here is an over view of the layout. I have a lot of detailing to do on the walls but I've been waiting till I had the structural strength and sizing dialed in first as I kept tweaking. I originally had 2 full bays but they wouldn't hold an X-Wing so I widened it and also ended up raising them to fit the vents. This top down view with the yellow fence shows the 41" width. and the potential space if I expand to 47". I'm going to curve the wall behind the Falcon some more but I'm not going to go all the way around to keep the sides of the Falcon visible through the sides of the table. This front view of the bay shows the vents in the top of the bays. My current thought was stickers to detail the vents but i will probably revisit them to look ate a brick based option but scale is a limit here. The Cat Walk for the X-Wings is an item that has been done but lacking in detail. I used Enderman eye plates for the side detailing. The current support beam X cross braces are temporary. After much thinking and tinkering I decided to design and print custom pieces to go there. The 3L bar on top will be cut in half to finish the top rail on the ends. I do like Cehnot's top rail better though and may try to rework mine based on his. Some small detail builds I have are the (quite silly) Treadwell 1016 droid briefly seen twice (somehow it gets on top of the Falcon with treads...). I also have a fuel tanker cart seen between the Falcon and the X-Wing. The floor light took days to get the scale right and try to be easily lit from below. The plan it to get vinyl stickers for the sides to cover the trans-clear plates then put an LED under them trough a hole in the baseplate. Not shown here is that the front 1x2 plate is clear while the 2 under the slope grills are trans med blue to get the right light out the back. I have lots more to do but finally felt I had enough to start sharing. Any suggestions on how to improve something are welcome! I will also be overhauling the Falcon itself to be more ESB accurate. Haven't yet decided on adding an interior since it will be in a closed display. -JF140/Cody -

I have always loved winter and Christmas and I am very happy to have spent two years building this village; unfortunately the time available is always little and I can put some bricks only a couple of times a month. I thought I'd build up a few models in the series before sharing it on here, but with four instalments so far, I felt it was time. This is my Star Wars Ring-Worlds project, each instalment depicts/will depict a different location in the star wars galaxy with each one confined to the same circular base. And that's about it really, as the title suggests this won't be a series I'll update regularly, rather an ongoing project where I'll build the nest location as and when I fell like it. I've got a few ideas about which planets (or moons ) to do next but if anyone has any suggestions or ideas I'm all ears. But for now at least, I'll end this first post with the first four instalments in the series, Yavin 4, Lah'mu, Naboo and Lothal. Enjoy! Attack on the Rebel Base- Collaborative Star Wars MOC- Diorama - Large

This is a collaborative project that was constructed by a number of members in our LUG. The project took a great level of planning and cooperation. Currently the project boasts a 4x5 arrangement of 48x48 Stud base plates, somewhere in the vicinity of 200 minifigs, and several ships. We decided to go with a camouflage scheme for several of the ships just because we thought it would be practical and look pretty cool. The original concept for this was to do something different from the norm with Star Wars. Most large scale dioramas you see are usually Hoth, Tatooine, or from the Prequels. While in development, the trailer dropped for Rogue One and we noticed some similarities to what we were envisioning. We intentionally have left the project vague as we are unsure if Rogue One will ultimately look like this or not. Also, we are still discussing the possibility of expanding this further. We had our first completed public showing this past weekend at the Brick Fair NJ Convention in the USA. Will have other media on this in time including a timelapse video of the construction. Finally! I managed to go through literally hundreds of pictures. I have chosen 47 and prepared them for publication here. The diorama you will look at is the biggest thing that I design and build myself ever! It was presented at 3 LEGO exhibitions of my LUG (Zbudujmy to! - Let's Build It!). I was also co-organizer and lecturer on making brickfilms so it was so crazy and busy time. But that's not today's topic. Premiere of the diorama took place at Warsaw, Poland (starting May 25, 2017) at awesome event called Pixel Heaven. Later (from June 1st) - moved to Nadarzyn, Poland where first ever Polish Comic Con took place. And the last exhibition, lasting 3 months, was held at huge Aquapark in Reda, Poland. My LEGO version of the Snow White and the 7 dwarfs cottage (based on Thomas Kinkade depiction). I watched the movie when I was a kid and I vividly remember how I wanted to live in a cottage in the woods after seeing this one! Although I rushed the build a bit, it was fun to build because I haven't build something "castle" for a long time and I wanted to try some new stuff like the roof or the newer shades of greens or play around with the vegetation using odd pieces and parts. Still some things didn't came out as I planned but I wanted to finish this to make room for other projects. Thanks to Markus for coming everyday to my desk and give me some hints and motivation! :D Hope you guys like it! Just like a doll's house

Managed to put a lot of details and tried a few techniques that I had in mind for a while but also some new stuff! What’s your favourite detail? Mine is definitely the small chair and the lamps! There’s another celebration again! Today is Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice). It is the second of two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ishmael, as an act of obedience to Allah’s (God’s) command. Before he sacrificed his son, God intervened by sending his angel Jibrīl who then put a ram in his son’s place. In commemoration of this, an animal is sacrificed (know more in Wikipedia). As a Muslim, I celebrate it too in real life and in LEGO. The model I’m gonna show to celebrate this occasion is a Minecraft scene with a pen, some animals, a house, and completed with Minecraft style background. Hi all, In June my RLUG, Skockani, had it's first international exhibition. As my main contribution I've decided to make a Ninjago diorama. It contains all of the sets released in the Possession wave, with some other waves mixed in. I'm sorry about the picture quality, these were taken on site, before the visitors were allowed in. I have zero capacity for taking pictures of anything bigger than a set at home, so this is unfortunately as good as it's going to get. I've also written about this creation on my blog which focuses on Ninjago news. Here is my new MOC. After doing for 5 years with the winter season I wanted something summer! On the first day of Spring, however, this moc came to my mind. I imagined drinking a good coffee sitting at the coffee table at a seaside bar. So I decided to design this moc very different from my usual themes but just as fun to build. The moc is built on four 32x32 bases. As an inspiration I chose the Riviera Ligure where I occasionally make a turn, but all that was invented without relying on real scenes. The four colorful buildings you see in the background are (starting from the left): a bar, a souvenir shop, a grocery store, a florist. At first I wanted to do only the part of the facade and then I decided to make simple interior embellishments (as always) from the back. The cobblestone part is a classic walk through the seaside villages with benches, lanterns, flower beds ... The beach is still not crowded because I imagined a pre-summer period in which there are still few people around. The entire moc was built in 3 months (in time scraps) employing about 5,500 pieces.
