There is a 12-pack that has 1 of each mini? What the crud! Wish we had that here in Canada. I think we're like one of the only countries that doesn't have that. All I can do is gamble with a 6-pack.

I still hate the concept of boxes. How are you guys planning to deal with the CMF blindbox?

I honestly don't mind them skipping a year for Castle. It gives my wallet time to breathe other Classic themes some time to breathe

We will be getting a GWP w/Horse and Cart later this year. I'm not sure what the threshold for those are, so you may be right in being a higher requirement. It's being compared to Santa's Workshop GWP, which was only a $150 threshold for a pretty decent sized set with 2 minis. Considering the Armor shop (mistaken as blacksmith) was a small build I could consider it comparable, even if it has a horse. As for translate, I mean having the most iconic parts of a set. The only thing Dragon Masters about this set is the torso. Only the building is being translated, while the rest of the iconic Castle parts are pretty much thrown to the wind. I might be presumptuous here in my expectations, but I'd prefer if they reserved a remake of Majisto's Workshop as a proper set like LKC, or at least wait for a Dragon Master CMF, that eats the budget of new molds and benefits from being able to bring back new 'Classic' parts like the helms, plumes, shields and weapons. Much like how LKC ate the cost of the Forestmen shield and torso prints so we could get the GWP. If not for LKC eating the budget, I'd hate to imagine blank brown shields with stickers, like the Castle in the Forest had. Like if they were going to remake sets, they could have had a 'Dragon Master' CMF that eats the budget for some returning new molds. That way, a Majisto workshop could benefit from returning plume, or shield, or weapon; whatever a Dragon Master CMF manages to bring to the table.. But the knight here is very lackluster, and the iconic dragon emblems are just regular blue plumes, which makes the building much more standard than as a plussed-up remake.

Regardless of whether it is GWP or not, I don't think that's a good excuse. It was never a good excuse for LKC when Majisto appeared without print, and it isn't a good excuse now even as a GWP. IMO, they should look at remaking a different set that would be easier to translate, as a GWP. There's plenty of Classic sets that could use a modern revamp, like Blacksmith shop, Guarded Inn and all that. I just think it's a let down that we get an official Majisto remake and it's literally the same bland mini from LKC which was already heavily complained about. The modernized replacement parts don't really help plus the set either. It's certainly below expectations, especially in light of Build a Mini prints being readily available at the very least.

Hrm, I'd only heard good things about Eldorado Fortress. Curious to know what you considered disappointing in the set. As a casual observer, it looked like it had some really good things going for it, like the modularity.

I like the final building design. It's very close to the original, but I don't think it plusses it, like the Forest Hideout or Blacktron Cruiser did. I think it'll be good for people who never had the original set I like the idea of a door with a lock on it to keep the building clipped together. I imagine there will be minor play feature there. Curious what the interior is like and what easter eggs might be hiding within. The minis are completely off. Majisto no print, obviously. No Plume, no Shield, no Halberd. Dragon torso is nice to see back though, hopefully will be on PAB. It's still missing all the big things that made it an iconic Dragon Master set. It was already a stretch of the imagination that they'd bring back old molds, what can we say. And are the shutters really stickers??

All the recent leak news makes it hard to predict what shields will be in Market Square. Many of us expected Dragon Masters shield to return in Majisto GWP, which would be perfect. But instead we have a return of Fright Knights classic updated shield with Basil CMF, though that emblem doesn't really fit a Civilian set. And if the Market Square gets a Dragon Master shield while the GWP doesn't, then that's a total headscratcher.

The only thing that could make this news worse to me is if it had stickers :P

Welp, saved myself $250 USD.

Here is the explanation from the link above: The LEGO Pick-a-Brick team is working on making improvements to the site and the availability of elements and information. Part of that is a new test, in which they provide us with lists of upcoming new elements added to the site, and elements that will be removed soon so you can get them while they are still available. The first list of Last Change Items has just been dropped, set to be removed on or before Nov 17th. All items in an xlsx file: PAB Last Chance Items - NOV 23.xlsx (75.5 KB) And with images in a Custom List: Custom List - Last Change Items - 2023-11 | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO -

What hurts is a lot of my PAB monkie kid stuff seems to go away on 17th, but I've been waiting for the 18th to get Majisto. I wonder if there's a grace period where I could get the best of both worlds, like if the Promo was applied slightly earlier before the PAB gets reset. I know usually promos happen 3 hours earlier because of timezones where I live. -

Saw it on one of Goldfyre's recent videos. Not sure of any source beyond that. checked the comments and found the source @Goldfyre 3 hours ago It's from the Rebrickable team https://forum.rebrickable.com/t/lego-pick-a-brick-updates/160336 -

Looks like the tan Viking torso on PAB is going away Nov 17th. I'll probably miss out since I plan to put my order in for double VIP weekend the day after. Odd thing is the sheep might go off PAB as well, but we know it's in Medieval Market Square. Kinda weird it's gonna be gone at all if that's the case. -
Doubt that instagram pic is Majisto GWP. Has a whole horse in it, and it looks way too detailed to be a ~300 piece build. -- Just to add to this, it has #Legomoc amongst the hashtags the following hashtags
