    [MOC] Imperial VT-PT Walker

"Although versatile, Imperial Scout walkers are not all-powerful. We need dedicated Patrol walkers, and soon." -Commander Selm The second walker in the Variable Terrain family, the Variable Terrain Patrol Transport was the result of designers blending the plans for the Scout Transport and Recon Transport together into one composite idea. The various STs were implemented in a variety of roles that they were not necessarily suited for, leading to mission proficiency dropping. Although some tasks could be taken over by the complementary RTs, there still exists a gap between the two where a new walker would hep the mission profile. Thus the VT-PT was born. Designed to work well in both urban and open environments, it features increased armor and a more robust armament than its counterparts, in addition to a fairly quick speed thanks to its reinforced legs and servo-motors. The main armament is flexible Heavy Blaster Cannon with a wide arc of fire, with the secondary armament being the twin missile launchers on either side. In addition, the VT-PT also has an advanced forward sensor and a redundant communications array for keeping in touch with command and other patrolling forces. SW Imperial VT-PT #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-PT #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Although simple, the walker is equipped with an on-board AI to aid the pilot. SW Imperial VT-PT #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Many features are shared between the VT-PT and the VT-ST, including a general interior layout. SW Imperial VT-PT #4 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr A look inside at the targeting controls, sensor gauge, and holo-transmitter. SW Imperial VT-PT #5 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr Overall, this was meant to be the equal of the VT-ST, fulfilling a similar role while carrying a different weapons load out and leg structure. 2. *Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Senator Belrus: In light of recent epidemic breakouts on Kuat, The Imperial Remnant high command wants to cease this opportunity to establish a presence on the planet. Due to new republic allegiance, the remnant has dispatched a stormtrooper platoon to an abandoned imperial facility in the polar region of the northern hemisphere. I have arranged to meet the regional archduke at the facility under diplomatic immunity. The Archduke: Good morning senator. We’ve considered your proposal. The epidemic breakout is currently contained to slums and lower levels of dense urban areas in our equatorial regions. It seems like the epidemic doesn’t take to the cold - why I imagine you chose this location for our meeting… Senator Belrus: *pokerface* The Archduke: Since the republic’s health organization has been unable to show any progress in fighting these outbreaks, the Kuati aristocrats have decided to declare a state of neutrality for Kuat. We’ve signed the Commenor Treaty allowing your presence on the planet and ring. We welcome your assistance as long as you comply with the Galactic Concordance. Senator Belrus: The terms are acceptable. We will sign the Commenor Treaty. The Archduke: And one more thing Senator. No bucketheads! Senator Belrus: *nods* Some behind the scenes shots: Let me know what you think! CC are more than welcome... ;)

    [MOC] Imperial VT-RT Walker

"Not as pompous as claiming 'All Terrain', we instead provide... variability." -Brickthana Engineering Executive Following the increase in the numbers of Rebel groups, the Galactic Empire needed more equipment to deal with the new threat, and turned to numerous companies to fill the gaps. An alternative to the 'All Terrain' family of walkers, the Variable Terrain series was meant to be a cheaper, more easily produced addition to Imperial forces. Part of this initiative is the Variable Terrain Reconnaissance Transport, a group of walkers designed to supplement their AT counterpart in a variety of ways. While following a superficially similar design, Brickthana has tried, with varying degrees of success, to expand the mission capability of its walkers. To try and compete with Rebel designs, versatility was a must for these new vehicles being made. First up is the initial prototype of the VT-RT concept, eventually getting the designation of 'VT-RT(L*)' and be the basis of the VT-RT(X). Although broad/blocky, a design 'flaw' inherent to many of the VT family, the aim of the designers were to add more protection to both the driver and the important components of the walker itself. Eventually these walkers would be replaced, seeing some use as turrets after modifications. SW Imperial VT-RT(L) Prototype #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) Prototype #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The second walker of the RT series is the VT-RT Experimental. Being dubbed the 'Expendable' by its drivers, the VT-RT(X) was a further step in trying to get as much from its frame as possible, with four versions being created. While all had the same base model, they could be modified into the different versions to operate in different mediums- these being the standard land configuration (Experimental-Land), an amphibious configuration (Experimental-Sea), an aerial configuration (Experimental-Air), and finally one meant for use in space (Experimental-Vacuum). Issues plagued the RT(X)- from certain system malfunctions to poor handling, eventually forcing Brickthana to review the design and begin work on a new version of the walker. The third walker of the RT series is the RT Heavy. The biggest of the three 'standard' VT-RTs, the RT(H) design was completed first. Meant to be a versatile infantry support vehicle, it ended up not performing to expectations, though it was still useful in its role. While it does have some amphibious capability, it was not equipped like the RT(X-S), and therefore is not as reliable in the water as its cousin. To compensate for some of its deficiencies, it is armed with a heavy blaster cannon and two detachable grenade launchers, as well as a more powerful transmitter. SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(H) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The fourth walker of the RT series is the RT Medium. The RT(M) was something of a misplaced design, as originally there was only two sizes that the RT would come in. This changed when it was decided that a design in the works (a troop transport) needed better escorts, and the RT(M) was created. In addition, there was an explicit order to try and incorporate parts/sections of one into the other, to ease production and interchangeability. While it was initially proposed to have a rotating bottom, to be converted into a turret, this was denied. Though it was mounted on a pair of legs, the body retained some of its features as a turret, including its armored sides and controls that can fold forward. SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(M) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The fifth and final walker of the RT series is the RT Light, the most direct counterpart to its AT compatriot. The RT(L) was designed to be a well balanced machine, combining decent armament, speed, and protection. Like its bigger brother the RT(H), it can float, however it wasn't designed with this explicitly in mind, and therefore has no propulsion; furthermore, if rocked too much, it can easily tip over and sink. SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #2 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr SW Imperial VT-RT(L) #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr A semi-addition to the RT project is the RT Droid, an automated bi-pedal walker. The VT-RT(D) is in a sort of grey area, and so is not fully included with the rest of the RT walkers. Instead, it's been put with other Brickthana droids, and may even have its designation changed. SW Imperial VT-RT(D) #1 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr If you want to build any of these for yourselves, here's the instructions: VT-RT(X): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yff351-w3sy1eyjQWu0awe88lGsyM2Nk/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(H): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wtnQpUb9V0GD_j1_cZuB9T0KiSRMrKJQ/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(M): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gJOcc4ppMsbLF82g1kfIGiZ7wjpzxWR3/view?usp=sharing VT-RT(L): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tipChHxhxKB54LxdCGOvqzqOZEkCfRVs/view?usp=sharing As usual, any feedback would be most appreciated! P.S. As far as the VT-RT(D) goes, you can see more pictures on Flickr, and I plan on including it in a topic with other Imperial Droids I'm currently working on.
  4. *Your entry has earned 7XP* Mission Log from Sr. Lieutenant Vascal: Hokey religions and ancient weapons has always been a passion in my family. So much so that the Remnant high command has put me in charge of a reconnaissance mission following a lead on a forgotten Jedi shrine. The lead has brought me to the harsh backwater world Ambria. Day 1 - I arrived in of the only settlements on the planet called Natthami Outpost. Settlement is a big word for what is basically a few dilapidated sheds and tents huddled together. Shortly after my arrival I was approached by a hooded figure known amongst the locals as one of the “Natthas Ee’k”. The waste pilgrims. This mysterious wanderer seemed to know the lands well enough and agreed to be my guide against a fair contribution to him and his brethren. … Day 16 - I’ve learned the name of the wanderer is Bur Eth’n. He’s lead me to what seems like an entrance to an old imperial facility. This is highly irregular since our records show no signs of imperial activity on Ambria. I am not even sure the Empire knew of its existence. I will report my findings before I proceed inside... /// I'm trying out some new techniques - at least they are new to me (; - and I'm happy with this small build. I've tried to capture the toxic/harsh landscape of an alien world, as well as experimenting with snot and angled/tilted walls... I hope you like it... As always, here's a few sneak peaks behind the scenes...
  5. *Your entry has earned 9XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: After retaking our base on Dennaskar, high command has tasked us with rounding up additional rebels and insurgents from surrounding systems and escort them to the top secret IDS Incarcerator orbiting the backwater planet Molavar. These prisoners are supposedly an important part of Operation Stronghold. The Incarcerator was the last of its kind of Imperial Lictor-class dungeon ships. After the loss at the battle of Endor, warden commander Col Gran hid the IDS Incarcerator in the Outer Rim. Commander Col was eventually contacted by Admiral Rovv and convinced to join the Commenor Remnant cause and remain a secret known only to Rovv and a few high standing members of the remnant. The IDS Incarcerator was a highly modified Lictor-class ship, designed as an inescapable supermax prison. All prison cells onboard the ship has two entrances. One leading into the ship, and the other towards the empty vacuum of space, with only a ray shield keeping the prisoners from being sucked into oblivion. A little peek behind the scenes... Let me know what you think. :) Cheers
  6. Hi again everyone The Imperial Arrestor Cruiser first appeared in the Star Wars canon in the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story, barely visible in an Imperial recruitment film. However, in the script for Solo, the Millennium Falcon was at one point to be captured by a tractor beam ship, which was developed into the Arrestor Cruiser. However, this full appearance in the film was eventually cut but can be seen in a deleted scene where Han crashes his Tie Fighter. A scene I wish they had kept in. Colin Cantwell originally pitched the design of what would become the Imperial Arrestor Cruiser directly to George Lucas, for use in the 1977 movie Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, although it was ultimately discarded in favor of the Star Destroyer. I built this model fairly quickly, again in between finishing other models. It is a fairly simple design with the only complicated part the “nose”. It needed to be slightly tapered and bricks would just not cut it. I have attached this using clip tiles and handle plates to attach the side tiles. I have also then used door rail plates to close the gap at the front. Anyway, here is the model. Jon
  7. *Your entry has earned 6XP* Mission Log from Comdt. Danus: The occupation of Uquine is going as planned. Most of the resistance has been pushed out of the cities. We have seized control over most former imperial assets in all major urban areas and established checkpoints at all spaceports. For a week I have personally inspected the checkpoints with great success. We have apprehended more than twenty individuals suspected of crimes against the Commenor Remnant. Latest a Twi’lek smuggler trying to get a crate of datachips through checkpoint 4227. I have yet to uncover all the data on the chips, but the initial sweep suggests connections to CorSec. I wonder what they are doing so far from Corellia. This is not the first time we incarcerate a member of their affiliation. Comdt. Danus: Miss. You are under arrest for trying to smuggle unregistered cargo of Uquine. You will be put befor a tribunal. They will decide your fate. Take her away. Cdr. TK-571: Yes ma'am. Sirs. I kindly ask you to remove yourselves from this sector. This is imperial business. Move along. A little peek behind the scenes:
  8. Hello everyone! I'm finally here to show my simple modifications for the 75219 Imperial AT-Hauler set. Since the first concept pictures of this model leaked, I wanted it in Lego form. I really liked the overall look and the idea of a smaller imperial cargo ship, which could bring the walkers into battles. When the pics of the actual set released, it received a lot of criticism for its size and colour. I liked the appearance of the set, looked sturdy and I'm quiet liked the idea of the chosed colours. Probably when the build was designed, they had concept arts, where the final colour of the ship wasn't clear and I think the light bluish gray parts with white works well for very light gray, and it looks good with Imperial shuttles and Landing Crafts. It's not as big problem as the color of Kylo's Shuttle. Based on the official images, I have only 2 problems with the model. The first is the technic hook builds to hold the cargo, which is a decent play feature, but nut too accurate and doesn't look good too. The other problem I had, was the fact that only one figure could fit in the relatively big looking cockpit. As the instructions released for this set, I started working on this modification. Firstly I build one of the "arm" of the ship in LDD to see how could I fit the winches. I usually like to the minimum added parts when I modifying a set. When the LDD file for the whole set became available in the Official LEGO Sets made in LDD, I used that to finalizing the arms and started to make more room in the cockpit. I wanted to make big improvement with as fewer changes as possible. So here is it: Tutorial Winches Here is the original build at the beggining: For this modification you'll need this coupple parts. The first move is to remove the whole technic mechanism, which is part of the main play feature. For that, as first step, the plates from all three sides of both arms needs to remove. After that you could take apart the technic axles inside. I'll use a couple of pieces from the cargo, which is included in the set and spare parts as well. And here are all parts from the technic mechanism. The next step is to installing the string and the winch system, so firstly you secure the hooks to both strings with a knot. Than you have to lace through the string in the holes of the two light bluish gray L shaped pieces. You need use only the first two holes, after that you could pull the free ends of the strings out to sideways. The next thing to build is the winches, and its needs these parts. As the space is limited, we need the smallest parts what could use for its task. Because of that, the red technic bush will be our winch drum. You could lace the string trough the two opening of the bush and then you could put it on the axle. For placing this small assembly the long gray technic brick need to be removed from its place. You put together the two part and then you secure the winch drum with two light gray 1x3 liftarm and one small gray bush. You put back the whole thing to the arm and do the same thing on the other side. After that the plate sidings could go back to the sides of the arms and the you can put the steering wheel pieces to the dark gray axles. So here is the ship with the working winches, you could operate them by turning the steering wheels on the sides of the "wings". In the next step we remove the bigger technic panels and need to chang the position of the technic pieces on it. After you put back it to the underside of the wings, you can see that these change not only moves them down by 1 brick, but it becomes a stop to the wings, when you fold it in flight position. That doesn't let the wing to fold the wings to low, wich was another big problem of the original model. On these two pics you can see how the original one(left) is much lower than the modified one(right) Than comes a couple small details. You can add the smaller technic panels to the bigger ones and put dark gray pin connectors to the four exposed tan pins of the landing gears. And these parts can use on the front ends of the wings. Cockpit The problem with the cockpit is that it's designed to be very sturdy and solid, but unfortunately that makes the inside small. The main thing you could do is lowering the floor of it, but for that we need to take apart the whole structure. From the side panels we have to take off the black curved pieces, because they are in the way of the figures arms. The next thing to do is to put the gray wedges to the insides of the sidepanels from the outsides of them. OntThe original design, when you close the roof of the cockpit, it moves the sides out. With the wedges inside makes the side panels to reach the windshield and the distance between them allows the roof to fold properly. After the cockpit is completely taken apart, we need to rebuild its floor. With lower floor and thinner sides, we could fitt more figures inside, so we add a couple smal black panel pieces from the cargo container build and these will be our seats. In the original set the stickers for the controplanels is placed on a slope and on a tile, but I wanted to use two slopes(inspired by the cockpit of the set 75094), so I placed the sticker on a 2x3 black slope instead of the tile. After the floor is finished we need to rebuild the ship the same way as we disassembled it. So here is the final model. I'm very satisfied with this model. The winches working good and the look of the ship improved well. The cockpit could fit four minifigures total, it's a little bit crowded, but does its job. You could operate the winches very easy and with the two hooks you can lift up a lot of different things. If you needs mor stability to your cargo, then you can pull out a loop of the strings at the bottom of the wings, and you could hook those loops to a couple added pieces. Comparison with the oroginal(left): These are the leftover parts from the set: I didn't want to put the stickers to the cargo container, because they are such a cool designs and I want to use them in further MOCs, so I placed them on a couple of tiles. I really hope, you liked this small modification. The only thing, that I'm planning to design is a technic structure, what can grab the latest AT-ST. You can find my full album: Here
  9. *Your entry has earned 15XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our second mission to Dennaskar was to regain control and if possible recover my former squad. We tracked the attackers to the back entrance of B Dock, an old imperial facility, where the outlaws had set up an ambush. We were prepared. Two squads of stormtroopers and an AT-ST neutralized the attackers. The survivors have either been captured, or escaped deeper into the forest. Our casualties have been minimal. No sign of the missing squad. These outlaws seems to be a breakout cell of the former rebellion against the empire. I will try to get more information out of the ones we captured. It will not be an easy task to get these scum to talk subjugated the Galactic Concordance. Hopefully they are not aware. Until the leadership advice I will continue my investigation from our new base of operation. Cpt. Bannon commands and leads his troops into battle... The outlaws are making a last effort... The first squad of stormtroopers supported by Cpt. Bannon's death troopers... Troops behind cover... Star Destroyers above Dennaskar... [MOC] Imperial Cargo Speeder

The catalyst behind me making this was simple- I had a pair of Imperial Hovertanks that I wanted to use in a more combat-oriented context. Therefore, I needed to make something that was a low level hauler (i.e. something like a flatbed truck, at most a few studs off the ground) capable of holding two of Lego's Kyber crystal containers. I remembered from some older books that in the EU, they had 'floats'- basically small speeders capable of even going inside buildings. This inspired me to make a small cab attached to a low flat bed, going back to the 'truck' mentioned above. While the bed is exposed except for the side railings and the rear ramp, I wanted the bed to have at least nominal protection, hence putting heavy doors when doors aren't particularly needed. I also forwent a wide open windscreen for a smaller enclosed one for similar reasons. The idea behind this is that A) the pilot/driver would be protected from rocks and debris, and perhaps even shrapnel (protection from small arms is up in the air); and B) the cab area can be separated from the rest of the speeder (specifically the bed) and be used on other vehicles. Other uses could be placing a crane or some kind of weapon in the back. I'm not sure if a communications center would be a good fit or not. Also, with other things besides cargo or troops in the back, the rear ramp can be removed. I'm sure the bed can also be extended without it be overly long as well. 11. *Your entry has earned 9XP* Cpt. Bannon likes his surroundings as simple and clean as possible. No distractions. Clean as a whistle, and efficiency above anything. A little comfort and the occasional blue milk or brandy doesn’t hurt. Some time before… Lt. Markland: Cpt. Bannon. These are your junior officer quarters. Your belongings have already arrived. Lt. Markland: You will find the elite personnel manifest on the data console. Let me know if you need anything. I’ll let you get settled. Good day Captain. Quarters description: This is the quarters of Cpt. Julo Bannon onboard the Star Destroyer, The Relentless. The standard Jr. Officer Quarters comes with sleeping quarters with a small workstation and storage. Additionally the quarters are linked to a personal refresher with standard refresher interior, a sonic shower and additional storage. On rare occasions, distinguished officers are allowed some degree of personalization. In Cpt. Bannon’s case this includes a vintage lounge chair and a few collection items. Behind the scenes sneak peak: /// Let me know what you think...
  12. The conference room onboard the ISD Relentless Admiral Bryce: Gentlemen. We are looking at the planet Uquine. The last planet on the Commenor Run in this sector. Retaking Uquine will place the entire sector under the Commenor Remnant control. I’m sending three battalions to the surface to establish an initial occupation. I will stay in this system to oversee the occupation and await further instructions from high command. This is what must be done before we initiate Operation Stronghold. Admiral Rovv and Admiral Cerato, you will escort the Senator and Agent Visqar back to Commenor. You will need to convince High Command that we need additional ships to carry out our expansion. You know what to do after that. Admiral Cerato: We should approach Moff Barthol regarding Operation Stronghold. Admiral Rovv: Yes, he would be a powerful ally. Admiral Bryce: I agree. Admiral Rovv. Seek an audience with the moff and introduce him to Operation Stronghold, but plan a contingency should he decline to join. This has to be done in secrecy. Admiral Bryce: Gentlement, Cpt. Bannon. Captain, congratulations on your latest success. I apologize for the wait. These are extraordinary circumstances. Please meet Senator Belrus, Agent Visqar, Admiral Rovv and Admiral Cerato. We are a newly established subcommittee of the Commenor Remnant. Consider us your direct leadership. Gentlemen, please excuse us. I will brief Cpt. Bannon on his first assignment. Admiral Bryce: Captain, your first task is to establish your new squad. You are free to choose whomever you see fit to carry out the mission. I will see to it that you get access to the imperial elite personnel manifest. Lt. Markland will serve as your personal assistant. She is a trusted member of my crew. You report to me directly. Any questions? Cpt. Bannon: I need a ship. Behind the scenes: This is my first attempt at a modular scene. The idea is so make different rooms and interior of an imperial star destroyer to reuse during my stories. Let me know what you think?
  13. Previously in SoNE: I'm Captain Gubi Totho a former Stormtrooper know as TG-0222. After the successfully evacuation from the moon of Endor, we returned to our home base on Takodana and we served there for a little time as patrols and security units. As we was promised, we were promoted and send to trainings to a still working academy. All of us have gotten different specialized trainings and pilot trainings too. We have learned to control a good variety of different vehicles, such as Fighters, Shuttles, Speeders and Walkers as well. I was named as the leader of our squad, so I learned commanding and got tactical training. Boghi (BG-0329) has become the technical expert of the team so she can use all kind of different control panels to open all doors, locks and craits. Andrysh (BN-0303) is our sharpshooter and he is a scout too. After completing our trainings, we've become a Special Forces Squad of the Galactic Empire. In the following times we were send to a couple secret missions, where we gained practice. Suddenly most of the available imperial units were ordered to the planet Jakku, where the remaining rebels attacked the Empire. Our mission from the High Command was to rescue out as many Officers, as we can. We need a lot of them to keep the System working, so or mission was a top priority one. That was one of the biggest battle of our era, fighters flew everywhere, capital ships crashed to the surface, the whole place was chaotic. Unfortunately there was not much to us to do, but we must try everything we can.
  14. Excerpt from Commander Bryce’s Log (Some time after the Battle of Endor) "Governor Ubrik Adelhard has locked down the entire Anoat sector. He has commanded all senior imperial officers to attend an briefing from High Command at 600 hours. I’ve heard what happened at Endor and I refuse to play along with his ruse. The Emperor had other plans. I’ve taken over command of the ISD Relentless over the Imperial capital of Deyer. Plotting a course for Commenor..."
  15. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our mission to Dennaskar was simple. Reconnaissance and establish a temporary camp and base of operation to search for a location fit for a future outpost. After the depopulation of the planet it hasn’t been of much interest to anyone. We landed in sector 6-TE, 12 clicks east of the equipment drop from a few weeks ago. The cargo pilot missed the mark for the equipment and now we have to go and recover it before we can set up camp. Vascal: I swear this planet is haunted! Jayne: No wonder after what happened here... Cpt. Bannon: Cut the chatter. We’re almost at the drop site. Kelstrap: Captain! It’s here - and the equipment looks to be intact... Cpt. Bannon: Good. Let’s recover whatever we can move, establish a basecamp and contact High Command for further instructions.

  18. My next job took me to Mimban. Here are five old imperial mining towns, where illegal mining is still active. The target is an Iakaru, who works as a miner here. Most of the miners are addicted intoxicants, so I guess I know where to find him. I'll disguise myself as a miner and than waiting for him in the pub. In this case, the best way to make this done, is using poison. So here he is. Human - Do not touch me, dirty monkey. Twi'lek - Hesuag boba ba bouba. I'ts the perfect time to swap the cups. It's just a matter of time, that the poison kills him.
  19. It is my second try at creating a model the way Lego does but at the same time being as sleek and faithful to original as possible. It is not a 100% MOC, because it incorporates some basic structure techniques of 75101 mixed with 75211. 759 pieces plus 56 for a display stand. 20. Hi Everyone, This is my first post on here but I have been following some of the amazing minifig scale Star Wars MOCs' on here. I have been fascinated with them and decided to give them a bash. So far the rebel fleet includes UCS Slave 1, UCS Falcon (2017), Most recent A-Wing, I have made Intherts' X-Wing, U-Wing, as well as created a Y-wing using his cockpit and reverse engineered the main body of the ship form images. SO, to add to the fleet the Rebel scum have stolen the plans for a Lambda Shuttle.(I) They have gotten pretty far with the rebuild/reverse engineering of the design from the images on Marshal Bananas' Flickr but I have gotten stuck with the landing gear and how to connect the cockpit at those angles! I have started ordering parts for the real build. I'm about 50% delivered and will be starting on the cockpit first to try work it out in actual bricks. Would welcome your comments as well as any advice you guys may have about the build. https://www.flickr.com/photos/150280550@N02/ MB Lambda Shuttle by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr MB Lambda Shuttle #1 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture4 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture5 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture6 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture3 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Capture1 by Hamish Dobbie, on Flickr Thanks! 21. After one of our squads found the SG Switch and shout it down, the way to the Generator has come free. Finally we have reached the border of the base, where the force field has already been turned off. Shock Trooper - It looks like there is no friendly or enemy activity. We should find out what's going on. BN-0303 -Sir, maybe I can get some information from that console. BN-0303 -Sir, I found a bunch of classified infos, which we do not have access to. But there are some accessible ones: The the base was evacuated and all remaining units were ordered to leave the moon. Shock Trooper - In that case we need to found the way out here. BG-0329 - I think, That might help us: Switches clicking, generators starting, computers beeping. Pre-departure checks Please judge.
  22. I really like the Battlefront series since Bf and Bf2. I spent a lot of time with the 2015 version of the series and one of my favourite map in Walker-Assault game mode is SoroSuub Centroplex, which takes places on the planet Sullust. Here is it: Full MOC:
  23. We want to move down. We still haven't found the switch to shot down the force field, so all squads are searching for it on different areas. Incoming Orders: To all squad leaders. The enemy found the security switch. All troops move on to south immediately! Shock Trooper - Squad! The rebels found it and possible they have already turned off the force field. We need to hurry, they can reach the generator any time.
  24. Hey everyone So i am building a Imperial Star Destroyer, which is being documented in another topic, but i have encountered issues with the frame. I am having difficulties with its build, from aligning the panels at an angle that fits well to building a stable frame that doesn't but strain on joints due to forced connections. I have seen many great SD builds on here, and i was looking for advice and techniques to help me get this right. This is my first attempted layout. It looks fairly fine, though as i continued to make structural reinforcements and increase its length, problems arose. Also, this angle seem a bit 'shallow', and probably should be raised slightly more. Here is the frame currently. I need the middle beam, in order to help with the stand that will come out of the destroyer's hanger. There is the issue of the centre beam pushing against the cross supports, creating tension that may damage the pieces. Any help would be great, as this is an important part of the build and i can't progress until i find a stable design. Thanks!
  25. Well, i was proud of it at the time, but i feel now that my ISD isn't sufficient enough. Numerous add ons and additions have made the model a bit unstable and the inaccuracies need to be addressed. The main issue however is the disproportional build! The bridge is too large and wide compared to the rest of the body, and it lacks the correct amount of hangers and indents in the panels. This is all a result of me following along the structure of set 6211, which focused on an interior, messing up the proportions. I talk about it in the original post: Now however i start from scratch, and you guys get to follow on and give out suggestions! It starts now with the gathering of extra parts and deconstructing the original destroyer. The plan is to make it bigger, more sturdy and more accurate. Got to gather up all available reference material for this beast... Last photo of it intact. Major sections now removed. I plan to keep the bridge the same, perhaps with some slight corrections. However the rest needs to be broken up and sorted... Now people can see the frame of the build, and the messy interior...
