  1. Thank you everyone for the discussion. Much respect for @icm for a detailed and comprehensive evaluation - it must have taken much time to prepare it. Btw, it was very interesting to read your post on a LEGO X-wing build history. All I have to say here is that I have not copied firefabric's design nor any of it's parts. I strongly disagree with @firefabric point of view. Nevertheless I think everyone may judge the issue for herself / himself. That was one of the reasons I've decided not to be active in this thread.

    [MOC] DeLorean Time Machine

I am pleased to present to you my latest model - DeLorean Time Machine, which I assume does not need much introduction, as it is an icon of pop culture and probably the most recognizable movie car ever. It was created as part of a joint project - a western mocup, which we’ve prepared together with other members of Polish Zbudujmy.to LUG. It’s a Speed Champions style solid build display model, depending on the version, built out of 408, 439 and 434 bricks, respectively. There is also dedicated display stand. The stickers were traditionally prepared by the guys from brickstickershop. Instructions are out now at rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/165349 DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr DeLorean Time Machine by barneius, on Flickr

    [MOC] Aston Martin DBS

Aston Martin DBS. This British classic was produced since 1967 only for 5 years when it was restyled and changed the name to Aston Martin V8. Then in 1977 it was thoroughly restyled again to become a high performance gran turismo V8 Vantage. The third and last model that recently joined my Aston Martin collection. 353 pieces - painted red and gold, for which dark tan worked surprisingly well. Instructions as always available at rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/163666 Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr Aston Martin DBS by barneius, on Flickr

[moc] Aston Martin V8 Vantage (1977)

thx. oh I wish we had Timothy Dalton's Bond minifigure... not a chance though i guess...
  5. I built it probably over a year ago, and although it was shown at a few exhibitions, it couldn't wait to be presented online for a long time. Aston Martin V8 Vantage - 1977 model in the specification including "a few optional extras installed" prepared by the Q Branch for James Bond in one of my favorite films from the series - The Living Daylights. Initially, I built it in DBG, but in the end I chose black as it better reflected the original - as always, a difficult decision when the desired color is something between the two. A stand referring to a spectacular scene on a frozen lake was also created. 6. Here comes my latest project - Toyota Supra MK4 from The Fast and the Furious. Traditionally, I have tried to stick as close to the Speed Champions style as possible. The model is made out of 380 elements, features detailed interior, including double nitro pack behind the seats, and fits two minifigs. As in most of my mocs I didn't use the standard Speed Champions chasis. The front end gave me the most trouble. From the very beginning I knew how I wanted the headlights and what position they should be in, yet I couldn't find the right solution to combine all the pieces together and, at the same time, maintain the stability of the structure. What mattered here was the fact that the range of bricks that I usually use in orange is somewhat limited. Of course, the Fast & Furious version couldn't do without the stickers and here, as always, the guys from Brick Sticker Shop did a fantastic job. I also have "civilian" varieties in several colors ready, which basically do not require stickers at all, although they can be decorated with those from the 76901 set - I will complete the post with additional images over time. 9. Here comes my latest project - beautiful Lamborghini Miura SV - 325 pieces solid build display model with detailed interior and mighty 385 PS V12 engine right behind the seats just like in the real car. 10. I'm happy to present my latest Speed Champions style model: the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO. It is a 12V engine powered GT racing car produced by Ferrari from 1962 to 1964. The buyers were personally approved by Enzo Ferrari and just 36 of the 250 GTO's were manufactured. All of them survived until today. It is currently probably the most desired and valuable collectible car in the world. This is the 314 pieces display model recommended for experienced builders. Fits two minifigures. Premium quality custom stickers for this model were designed in cooperation with the Brick Sticker Shop. Instructions available at rebrickable. I'll be happy to read your comments. 11. Thank you guys. I've designed Roadster once the Gullwing was ready - just as an add-on, yet I must admit there is something that makes it look very good and perhaps even better than the Gullwing.
  12. I’m happy to present my latest Speed Champions style MOC: Mercedes-Benz 300 SL in two variants: Gullwing (370 pieces) and Roadster (328 pieces). This is the first out of four brand new Speed Champions style MOCs that I’ll be presenting in the coming months. Each one is recognized as an icon of the following decades and the 300 SL starts as a king of the roads of the 50’s. There are some advanced techniques used so I’d definitely recommend it for advanced builders. Fits one minifigure. Easily removable roof section for the Gullwing variant. Premium quality stickers were prepared together with brickstickershop. Instructions available at rebrickable for both Gullwing and Roadster variants.
