  4. It was a big challange to build adjustable suspension for this tank/destroyer. My first idea was to use only one PF M motor for suspension tilting but it was not posibble (for me ) to make needed gear reductions in such a small place. So I used two PF M motors (one for first four wheels, one for second four wheels). Only one gear reduction for each motor was needed in this case. This solution brings nice advantages - you can also adjust tank height. For suspension I used torsion bars. It is the easiest way to make it. For more details look at the video. (time: 1:10) If you like this MOC you can look on outdoor video.
  5. Hello lego lovers, I got a passion for tanks and for the last year or more... I have tried to build something of my own... but everytime I got discouraged about my "creation" and sadly dismantle it. The only decent part that i could make was the hull of the tank that did not looked like a brick or shallow and full of holes... but i did dismantle that too after i could not figure out how to make a decent shaped turret. Now i made myself some courage and I started to build a "sloped turret" like UDES 15/16 (from worlf of tanks): Here is the lxf for anyone interesed: https://bricksafe.com//files/clawp1995/technic-tank/sloped turret - presentation.lxf The issue i am having now (beside that i cant even rotate the turret to stay on the panel -> 64681 and 64393) is that i cant find a way to add a "base" to this turret. Thanks in advance to any person that might consider to provide feedback. :D

  8. Merkava MK4 M is a Merkava Mark IV equipped with the Trophy active protection system (APS). It detect the location that the projectile came from. It can transmit the coordinates to nearby ground and air units through the Tzayad battlefield management system. It has removable modular armor, from the Merkava Mark IIID, is used on all sides, including the top and a V-shaped belly armor pack for the underside. This modular system is designed to allow for damaged tanks to be rapidly repaired and returned to the field. Because rear armor is thinner, chains with iron balls are attached in order to detonate projectiles before they hit the main armored hull. Some features, such as hull shaping, exterior non-reflective paints (radar cross-section reduction), and shielding for engine heat plumes mixing with air particles (reduced infrared signature) to confuse enemy thermal imagers, were carried over from the IAI Lavi program of the Israeli Air Force to make the tank harder to spot by heat sensors and radar. The Mark IV includes the larger 120 mm main gun of the previous versions, but can fire a wider variety of ammunition, including HEAT and sabot rounds like the APFSDS kinetic energy penetrator, using an electrical semi-automatic revolving magazine for 10 rounds. It also includes a much larger 12.7 mm machine gun for anti-vehicle operations. The Mark IV has the Israeli-designed "TSAWS (Tracks, Springs, and Wheels System)". The model has a new fire-control system, the El-Op Knight Mark 4. It has an Amcoram LWS-2 laser warning receiver, it also has The tank carries the Israeli Elbit Systems BMS (Battle Management System). 10. The K2 is a South Korean main battle tank. Developed as modern main battle tank that will replace most of the remaining M48 Patton tanks and complement the K1 series. The K2 Black Panther combines an auto-loaded 55 calibre 120 mm main gun, advanced composite armour along with hard and soft-kill active protection systems. The K2 is equipped with an advanced fire-control system (FCS) linked to an Extremely High Frequency radar system deployed on the frontal arc of the turret, along with a traditional laser rangefinder and crosswind sensor. The system is capable of a "lock-on" mode, which can acquire and track specific targets up to a range of 9.8 km (6.1 mi) using a thermographic camera. This allows the crew to fire accurately while moving as well as engage low-flying aircraft. The Korean Gunner's Primary Sight (KGPS) and the Korean Commander's Panoramic Sight (KCPS) are present in the Black Panther. The Korean Smart Top-Attack Munition (KSTAM) is a fire-and-forget, top-attack anti-tank munition. The K2 Tank has Visual and Infrared Screening Smoke (VIRSS) grenadesRadar Warning Receiver (RWR) and radar jammer. Four all-bearing Laser warning receivers (LWR) are also present to alert the crew should the vehicle become "painted", and the computer can also deploy VIRSS grenades towards the direction of the beam. The K2 houses the following features which help to improve situational awareness for the crew. WAAAGH!!!

Hello everybody! I would like to show you project I have started about one year ago. I was working on it through 2018, adding troops and vehicles. Hope you enjoy it. TROOPS Gretchinz: Gretchinz are smaller and weaker than Orkz but in a great numbers they still may cause problems. I needed them to put some on tanks and as a crew members of my Mek Gun. I'm still not sure about legs, they feel a bit to blocky. Boy: Standard soldier of WAAAGH!!! This one is armed with Choppa and Slugga, other have Shootas, Stikkbombs, Tankbusta bombs. Some may have heavy weapons - Rokkit launchas, Burnas, or Deffgun. Nob: Orkz have really simple hierarchy - smaller Orkz follow orders of bigger ones. Nobz are bigger than standard Boyz and I was trying to get that in my models - Nobz are a bit bigger but basically the same. Mek in Armour: Meks are crazy Orkz who construct vehicles and weapons for WAAAGH!!! Painboy: Painboyz are those who put together injured Orkz... or replace their limbs with mechanical ones. Warboss: Warboss is the Boss of whole WAAAGH!!! - he is the biggest and the strongest of all Orkz. Well, if he is not, then he stops being Boss and starts being dead. Ork Boyz: I wanted this photo to have some table top vibe. One can buy box of ten Boyz and one Nob, put them together and paint. I just had to put them together. :D SPEED FREEKS I had no experience with cars (once I have built some police car and a colleague drom my LUG, to whom I showed it, said that I should just stop) so I wasn't sure how it will work. Both cars now looks slightly different, I have improved them a bit - added some Gunz to the first one and rebuilt the front of the second one but unfortunately I don't yet have photos. Those cars are highly Mad Max inspired. Same story with bikes - before I build them only with molded parts but for Orkz I needed something bigger. I'm really happy with the results, already built third one. Photo will be posted soon. STOMPAS Killa Kans I have photos of two Killa Kans (already built third one, will post photo soon). Those are basically giant metal cans with pilot welded inside, armed with some nasty close combat weapons, like Killa Saw, Drilla, Klaw, Wrecker and some giant range combat weapon. Deff Dread It's basically bigger version of Killa Kan with four arms so it carries more and bigger weapons. Flyers Looted T'au drone Very important part of Orkz' culture is looting. What they find at the battlefield, they "repair" and use as their own. Warkopta: That flying vehicle can transport up to four Boyz. When it's empty, deck may be closed. It's armed with Big Shoota, some Rokkits and giant bomb hidden at the back. TANKZ Grot Tankz When I spotted those for the first time at Forge World (not available at Games Workshop) I knew that I need them for my army. Those are expected to be cartoonish and a bit silly. People made them with Toy Soldiers tanks. Love them and definitely need more. Smasha Gun One of Mek Gunz. Once I have seen a game in which Ork player used them and demolished his opponent. Already bought parts for second one - Buble Chukka. This name is soooo cool that I need it as an addition to my WAAAGH!!! Looted Wagon The last one, my biggest one (for now :P). I had a lot of problems with turret, this is third or fourth version and I'm happy with the shape and how I put a cannon but it still needs to be work with. I have learned some Technic techniques building this little monster and the next one is built with more sense so good for me. :D *** Thank you if you get through whole post, it's really long. To be honest, I haven't realized that I have so many of it. When I had uploaded all the photos to Flickr, my browser just added uploading section as one of my favorite websites. xD Check my Flickr account for more, I have posted only part of my still growing WAAAGH!!! C&C welcome. ;)

  16. The last time this older 7-wide industrial saddle tanker steam loco design was seen in complete form in the real world was in 2014. I have since added working pistons and an "American" style headlight for use on my US layout. (These working pistons were inspired by Hunterdobb's 2015 replica of Lady from the Thomas and the Magic Railroad movie as seen here on Flickr.) The bulk of the original model was a ScotNick creation inspired by Thomas and Friends engine "Stanley". Here we see the @ScotNick engine circa 2013. The rear of the loco, with the "glowing" firebox showing. As you probably know by now, BRS (as stated on the tank sides) stands for Brick Railway Systems, my fictional railroad company. Anyway, I thought this engine looked cool, and I don't think there was a thread about it that was a stand-alone or at least recent enough to bump up and edit, since just added the pistons two weeks ago. As usual Comments, questions, and suggestions are always welcome!
  17. This super heavy military tank has 4 indipendent tracks, that guarantee movement even in the event of one of them breaking, configuration which allow to face the most difficult terrain. This tank it also has a hull in ultra-resistant composite materials with specific deflecting angles to deflect enemy projectiles. It has a 2 main hatches, and an hatch in rear position in the hull. It mounts a M1128 Mobile Gun System as the main turret and employs a crew of 3 members. This is a modified version of the 7297 set. 18. Here's my take at the father of the modern battle tank. Goals: make it green and aim for a reasonable balance between looks and functions. Also, I'm really happy with the upper glacis plate opening up just like in the real tank, because it required creating a complex compact hinge inclined in two planes. 19. ICE PLANET IS BACK! My latest build is an armoured vehicle decked out in Ice Planet livery used by the peaceful men as a mobile research laboratory. Ice Planet 2002 was a subtheme of LEGO Space introduced in 1993 and marked by a very cool color scheme: white, blue and trans-neon orange. Even if I've never played with these paceful guys (at that time I was a teen with other interests on my head) I've always appreciated this series. The ground vehicle is not equipped with weapons but with a lot of retro space components. Ice Planet are in fact engaged in secret researches about renewable energy rather than interplanetary wars. The canopy opens to expose a detailed little interior with such an assortment of retro-tech computers and equipment. More info and pictures here. I hope you like it The Ice Planet vehicle joins the other space armoured vehicles I built in the last few years: 1) Space Tank in Classic Space livery; 2) White Tiger Futuron Tank; 3) UFO Shado Mobile Evo; 4) B-59 Blacktron APC. Thanks for stopping by.

  21. Hi guys! Recently I bought a bunch of blue pieces to mod my 7676 gunship but ended up selling it. That left me with a lot of blue bricks so I modded Lego 75151 Clone turbo tank in to a 501st version and the AT RT that came with it. Enjoy! A shot for both vehicals AT RT Here you can see it still folds up Turbo tank Interior, I fitted it with another plate so I can put troops or cargo in it Close up of plate here you can see the AT RT still fits but you will need to take the plate out I also modded the cannons because I do not like stud shooter very much So that was my mod of 75151! Hope you liked it! I would be happy to get feedback!

  24. Hi Guys, This is my first post here so tell me if I am doing things wrong. After a long time of not doing anything with lego I decided to start up again, a bit older and wiser (so they say) I started to get interested in making some more difficult models that don't exist from Lego themselves. I started snooping around and eventually bumped into Sariel & Tommy Stryvoky 's MOC's, one thing led to another and I am currently designing a MK V tank. I started using the photo's from Sariel's MK V as a reference but quickly decided that I can use other parts or design it differently. The first thing I did was another color, the original one was a dark tan color but since Lego doesn't have a lot of pieces in this color, this one went to the trashbin. Finally I decided to go with the standard tan color as this resembles the real paint job better than just standard grey. THE HISTORY: The British MK V was an upgraded version of the MK IV. It was first deployed in 1918, used in action during the closing months of World War I. The tank was improved in several aspects, chiefly the new steering system and engine, but it fell short in other areas such as mechanical reliability and its insufficient ventilation. However, the Mark V was a great improvement on the MK IV due to the use of Wilson's epicyclic steering gear meant that only a single driver was needed. -wikipedia The base model: Where am I with the project: Cosmetically the tank is finished, still finetuning the design and changing parts that can be made stronger. mechanically I need to change a lot! at the moment I am driving the wrong gear and thus not functioning as it should when I turn. Tommy Styrvoky helped me a lot with the clutch drive system, this will be similar to how the tank moved in its day, thus no 0° turning circle. More pictures in this topic or on my Flickr page Please leave your thoughts, comments & ideas I am interested in hearing your opinions.

    [MOC] Lego M3 Bradley IFV

My version of the M3 Bradley IFV. It is classified as an armored reconnaissance and scout vehicle. The M3 is fielded with two-man 25mm Bushmaster Cannon turret with a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun, and also carries more TOW missiles. The Bradley is highly capable in cross-country open terrain. The Bradley is designed for reconnaissance and to transport a squad of infantry, providing them protection from small arms fire, while also providing firepower to both suppress and eliminate most threats to friendly infantry. It is designed to be highly maneuverable and to be fast enough to keep up with heavy armor during an advance.
