  2. Gotta get back, back to the past... Samurai Jack! Armed with a magic sword, a heroic samurai warrior sets out to defeat the evil demon sorcerer Aku. However, Aku transports him into the distant future, where the residents name him "Jack". Now Samurai Jack must find a way to return home to the past and obliterate Aku once and for all! Don't forget your hat, Jack! "Who dares to summon I, Aku?!" Using all the pieces to make his main form, Aku can "shape-shift" by being rebuilt into a scorpion... …or even a winged creature! Summary of Aku's rebuildable forms. What do you think of my product idea? If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding what you'd like me to improve or add to my project (bonus forms for Aku, supporting characters, enemies, etc.), I'm more than happy to take them into consideration! [MOC] Lightning has struck!

"River, DA calling. We have a new weather report, lightning has struck. I repeat, lightning has struck!" - Nigel Wolpert Lightning has struck! by 0937 Superfan, on Flickr More details on the LEGO Ideas Topic or my Instagram . The last return to Hogwarts in Harry Potter - The Deathly Hallows - part II is without doubt the best of the all returns to the school and my favorite one. Despite this scene has the coolest “war code” message ever, warning every student that Harry has came back to the school of wizardry, it also happens in one of the most important places of all the saga - ” If you have to ask, you’ll never know. If you know, you need only to ask.” The Room of Requirement was every time the place where Harry had the opportunity to change his game against the dark magic of “we know who”. The place where the Dumbledore’s Army was born and where most of the wizard friends of Harry train them selfs to be better with magic. The place where all of his friends waited for him - The Chosen One…to regroup for the last fight! This project is my unique entry to the contest “Head back to Hogwarts™” on LEGO® Ideas page. “I repeat, lightning has struck!”… over, and go check it out!

    [LEGO IDEAS] Support the Kraken

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is something sorely missing in pirates that has not been addressed (to my knowledge, at least). Something that has bothered me since 2009. I refer, of course, to the lack of a proper Kraken. A mere one piece octopus does not compare to the sheer size and terror the Kraken possesses. Some may say that Aqua Raiders or Atlantis have an pretty good squid, which is folly! Even if one was to ignore the fact that these squids came with a bunch of stuff you didn't want, the squids are still far too small to take on a proper ship. Thankfully, LEGO Ideas has presented us with the Kraken we so desperately needed. Please, support the Kraken on LEGO Ideas. SUPPORT NOW Please, support the Kraken on LEGO Ideas. SUPPORT NOW
  6. I wanted to design medieval inn which is filled with life, guests and is actually playable. So it’s bigger than usual designs (maybe as big as some castle builds … but I like it the way :) ). Roof and main four windows are removable. If there is cold outside, you can sit next to the fireplace which uses lite cube for nice fire effect :) . As part of the build, there is a tree with sign which points the travelers towards the Inn. Stables are on the right side. Outdoors is filled with life and all kinds of pets (cat, dog, chickens and pig) which are all taken care of by lovely satyr. As one of the main goals was playability (I have kids :) ), I’ve deliberately didn’t use flat tiles on the floor and chairs. While very nice to look at, I know how unhappy me and my kids are, when we bump into our build and everything falls down. Tables and furniture has also few pegs to hold glasses and plates in place. Build has 2 800 peaces and uses different part on minifigures, old and new lego figures. I’ve already done few playtests with my daughter and Inn did well. :) I hope you will like it. You can check and support the build at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/805c3c81-efaf-418d-a4a3-c262251dee4a

    Northern Pacific Z-6 Challenger

A 4-6-6-4 type steam locomotive. First conceived by the Northern Pacific in the 1930s, they were among the steam locomotives that represented "super-power" where engine builders learned to create locomotives that combined both power and speed. The first batch of 12 of these engines were first delivered in 1936 to replace double-heading methods. The locomotives please Northern Pacific so much in fact that 9 more were ordered in 1937. They could be found all over the NP's divisions hauling fast freight trains and reefer trains. Their 69 inch drivers allowed them not only strong pulling power but also the ability to go 60 miles per hour. I thought it could bring a real "challenge" to those who want to build it. It has OVER 2000 parts total. It has a side rod system that needed to be reversed engineered a few times to perfect it to where no 3rd party elements are required. Unlike most other articulated steam engines I have seen on YouTube and other places, mine has a FIXED rear engine unit and a front free swinging engine unit just like Union Pacific 4014 that was restored in 2019 if I am correct. Description: Locomotive is powered by 4 LARGE motors, these sit inside the boiler and provide the means of going forwards and backwards. Both the IR receiver and battery box sit inside the tender. I would recommend some extension cables given the fact that the locomotive itself is very long. The IR receiver also plays a part in the tender for the locomotive is designed to look like an oil burner. The bogies on the tender are specially designed to not only to look realistic but also to take turns at the same time. And the same can be said on the lead truck in front of the first engine unit. The cab will actually let you house an engineer and fireman to simulated them driving the locomotive. To look at my other creations go to BrickLink and search under Strader987 https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/design.page?idModel=160723 This locomotive is also on The Lego Ideas website, here is where to find it: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/7a2adb34-7fc5-401a-aa28-c8eddd37480c Please help me get 10,000 supporters please.

    Pig Palace Car

At long last I present to you all a train car to go behind my Z-6 challenger: The Pig Palace Car This type of car was used exclusively to haul animals like pigs. They were unusual because unlike most other freight cars, this one was a double decker freight car. Its small space allowed animals like pigs to ride on it with ease. It has a straw bed inside as well as troughs to keep them fed for longer journeys. This particular Pig Palace Car will hold up to 18 pigs. This will soon be on Lego Ideas soon. I will post the link when it comes up. It already is on Bricklink for a 3D view.
  9. Hey, everyone. I've come up with a new LEGO Ideas project based on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim's Samurai Jack and have been trying to design a 3-in-1 rebuildable brick built Aku. I was successfully able to make the minifigure of Samurai Jack himself, but now I need to get started on Aku. I'm using BrickLink Stud.io, BTW. I was planning to have Aku's other two forms a scorpion and a falcon that he can be rebuilt into, and I've never designed a 3-in-1 rebuildable LEGO model before. If anyone wants to help me with this product idea, feel free to collaborate with me! Here's my Samurai Jack minifigure I rendered! Would anyone like to help me?

    [MOC] Pirate Brigantine

Me again, this time with a take on a small pirate ship. I like how it turned out really classic-looking due to the colour scheme, it wasn't my intention going in but I'm actually really happy with it. The idea for it came from trying to use the bow pieces as a hull. If I add rigging it will probably look more ship-like and less 'toy'-like but for now I think it works well. Maybe the masts could be redesigned too I reckon. Let me know what you think! The stern could use some redecorating at some point maybe. No interior details just yet but it is ready for it. Here's a rough photo of the first version of it before I remade it. And finally next to the massive Unicorn, barely fitting in the frame together!
  11. Hi all, I recently uploaded a Modular building project to Lego Ideas after working on it for a couple of months, but have some doubts about the possibility of it being selected as a set if it was to reach 10,000 supporters due to it being a Modular Building. --> https://ideas.lego.com/projects/553dc24c-d615-4294-ab85-6d2974059d8e I am slightly confused because no modular buildings have been selected after reaching 10K supporters, although some have had great feedback from the community. I was wondering if this is because Lego would not accept a 'Modular building ideas set' (and I respect that), or simply because the builds weren't good enough by Lego's standards. I have had suggestions that Lego would probably change the build from the modular-building format to a building that is not compatible with other modular buildings (if they selected it as an ideas set) by removing the pin connectors to make it separate from the modular building theme. It would be great to hear your thoughts, and I hope you like my Modular Building thanks
  12. It has been a long time goal of mine to build this beautiful train with LEGO. After working on it for a long time, I have finally finished it. To see 70+ pictures and a detailed tour, please see Via Rail Canada - The Canadian I'd love to hear any feedback, comments, questions, or criticisms. It's a big set, so let's tackle it one car at a time. :) If you like it, please support on LEGO Ideas if you believe it would make a great official set.

    [MOC] Musical Modular

Hi everyone! My entry for the Music To Our Ears contest on Lego Ideas has made it to the Top 9 entries, so I figured I'd share it here. It's currently in the crowd vote phase, so I'd appreciate it if you would head over there and give it a vote. But without further ado, here is the MOC: One of the best things about music is that there are so many different styles of it. What better way to discover them all than at a music store! Celebrate the wide variety of music genres and musical instruments and relive the heyday of music stores with this modular building! This corner building is comprised of a music store and a record shop on the ground floor and several apartments on the upper floors. Each apartment is themed after a popular music genre to suit the style of its inhabitant. The architect of the building designed it to look like a group of giant instruments to represent the four different types of instruments: An electric guitar (stringed), a clarinet (wind), a drum set (percussion), and a turntable (electronic). The floors can be separated to play inside. This 2589-piece set is not only a great addition to anyone's modular buildings display, but also a fun playset that can serve as a home for your CMF musicians. Comes with 2 store owners and a new Classical Musician! Let's take a closer look! The sidewalk is patterned like a piano keyboard, and between the music and record stores, there a staircase going up to the apartments with tuplet-shaped handrails leading up to the door. The music store has all kinds of different instruments. At the cash register, the store owner is having a discussion with the Classical Musician about which music is better: Classic or Metal. Albums of all kinds line the walls of the record store. The Disco Guy likes to come here often to disco-ver new tunes to dance to. The first apartments are dedicated to the pop star, disco guy, cowgirl, and saxophone player, representing pop, R&B and soul, country, and blues/jazz respectively. Next to the stairs to the top floor, there is a small corner with a table for the saxophone player for when he's not on the balcony. The last floor features rooms for the DJ, Rockstar, and Classical Musician, as well as a terrace with graffiti for the rapper to hang out on, representing techno, rock, classical music, and hip hop. There is a stark contrast between the styles of the three rooms. There is also a small closet with a broom and bucket in the hallway. The turntable-shaped roof can be accessed via a ladder going up the clarinet tower. I hope you like it. If you do, again, please give it your vote here. Since it has made it to the Top 9, it will be considered as a potential future set during the next Ideas review! Thanks, and keep on rockin'!
  15. Hi everybody, This week we have a lovely new entry to the Lego Ideas platform which I believe deserves our consideration and support; 'Islanders Spirit Beacon' by Sir Archibald. This is a new entry in a Pirates sub-theme that rarely sees such mocs on Ideas, so could really use your support. It currently stood at 56 Supporters with 59 Days left. So if you'd like to show support, please do so by heading over to the Idea page now.

    [LEGO Ideas] Indiana Jones Trilogy

** 10,000 supporters could make this project a real LEGO set! Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Indiana Jones by clicking here and then click the “Support” button! ** This microscale build is constructed in the style of the LEGO Architecture Skyline series and features the iconic locations where famous archeologist, Indiana Jones, recovered priceless historical artifacts: The Temple of Doom (Sankara Stones) [1935, The Temple of Doom] The Well of Souls (The Ark of the Covenant) [1936, Raiders of the Lost Ark] Temple of the Sun (The Holy Grail) [1938, The Last Crusade] Unlike the historical artifacts (which belong in a museum!), this set belongs on your desk! This compact 650-piece set (9.4" L x 3.2" W x 3.7" H) makes for the perfect display piece for every fan of Indiana Jones. The set is also paired with a stand that includes three desirable minifigures from the popular films: Indiana Jones Marion Ravenwood Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Sr. The backside of the set also includes additional references to the films with a microscale mine car chase and the interior of the Grail Temple. Lego fans young and old will delight in creating these iconic locations and discovering their hidden secrets. If you love Indiana Jones and LEGO, I would be forever thankful for your support!
  17. Hello again, This week I'd like to highlight a small-medium build by one of our own members, @Master0889, 'Blue Coats Sea Watch Tower': @Master0889 had previously entered a Pirate themed Idea in the much supported Idea 'Soldier Imperial Golden Fort', so perhaps we can look forward to further Pirate Ideas from this talented creator in future. Currently the Idea lies at 672 supporters with 264 days left. With your support, it could reach 1000 votes and receive extra time to achieve full support. Please show your love.
  18. Pholvandir

    ...Pholvandir!

Hi, guys. I'm Pholvandir from Idaho. I've been out of the LEGO scene for a while, but my favorite line is LEGO Architecture. I've waited years for LEGO to produce an official United States Supreme Court model, and recently decided to take matters into my own hands. (You can check out my LEGO Ideas page for this build here: United States Supreme Court Building.) This is what made me into an official AFOL!
  19. Hi everyone, Today I'd like to draw your attention to a Pirate/Imperial related Idea that is currently looking for support. The 'Green Coat Trading Fort' is an idea by a creator called Artistic Shadow (formerly hickernator), a creator whom has already reached the review stage with previous idea, 'Queen - The Miracle Express', so clearly a talented creator. Please check out the below summary and if you like it, support now over at Lego Ideas: I know that this is a little different to the regular Ships and Outposts that are normally posted, but it relates to both Pirates and Imperials (Green Coats in this case! (psst - what nation would that be in your headcanon?)) and I think it's a wonderful design. It can also appeal to fans of Castle, I'm sure. So if you like to support this Idea and not only help Artistic Shadow to get their 2nd review-stage Idea, but also give TLG another hint that the Pirate theme is here to stay, then please support this now.
  20. Hi everybody, This week let's look at yet another great Idea by Pirate moccer Babyteeth; 'Caribbean Pirate Galleon'. Babyteeth currently has the 'Caribbean Clipper' nearing 10k votes on Ideas, as well as the previously highlighted 'Spanish Galleon Warship'. So if you'd like to support this Idea or just support Babyteeth in general, then please head on over to Lego Ideas now and vote for it. Also, if you have thoughts on this Idea and would like to share them, please let us know in the comments below. Thanks for checking this out.

    [MOC] Space Castle

This is a LEGO Ideas project of a Classic Space castle I built. It is a bit inspired by the LEGO castles from the 80s and is also based on a LEGO game I have created called Classic Space Adventure, which is an old school platform game that can be played in your browser. If you like this space castle it would be really appreciated if you would support it here. Like the LEGO castles from the 80s it can be opened and closed. . The space castle can be played with like in the game. En jämförelse med LEGO-modellen och borgen i spelet. Just a scene where Red Spaceman shoots down some robot enemies.
  22. This week I'd like to draw your attention to a lovely idea by Kolonialbeamter called 'The Royal Flagship'. This project has been on Ideas for some time now and could use some love from like-minded supporters. It currently has 167 days left to get around 400 supporters more in order to receive extra time. Regarding the lack of interior detail, the designer had this to say: So the designer is open to suggestions it seems. I have invited them to come here and discuss now that this is posted. Thanks for your considerationof this Idea. If you'd like to support it now, please do so here. Do you have any thoughts on this Idea? Would you like to see it made into an official set? Let us know!
  23. Hi everybody, This week, instead of a new Ideas entry, I'd like to draw your attention to a great ship that will soon fail as an Idea and have to have words with Davey Jones' Locker! Support now to save it! I present, the Spanish Galleon Warship by Babyteeth. You may be familiar with Babyteeth as his/her entry of the Caribbean Clipper is currently surging through to 10,000 votes. There are far, far more images over at the Ideas entry, so go there to view those and support it now. Do you have any thoughts on this Idea? Do you love it? Hate it? Tell us why. Most importantly, if you do love it - please go and support it on Ideas now. It doesn't have much time left!

    [MOC] Jackal Staff Oasis

Welcome to the Jackal Staff Oasis! Deep within the sands of a long lost desert, the glittering oasis beckons. Rising amongst magnificent date palms and tranquil, lotus-covered pools, is a fabulous temple containing the vast treasures of the surrounding kingdoms. Young Amata has been sent to retrieve the fabled, powerful Jackal Staff contained within this lush paradise, to bring back to her kingdom in need. I built this MOC digitally about a year and a half ago, with the intention of using it as a contest entry, but then ended up not using it. Later, I revived the design and built it in physical bricks. The model has 1522 bricks total, and measures 12" long, 15.6" wide, and 8.9" high. My favorite part about the whole build is the garden in the front with the water features and the palm trees. A close second would have to be the columns for sure! More pictures can be found in our Flickr album! https://www.flickr.com/photos/orientexpress24/ This MOC is currently up and running on LEGO Ideas! Any support would be greatly appreciated! [MOC] YEGO

Hello Eurobricks! I am happy to present to you my latest creation, or rather series of creations that I named YEGO. YOGA + LEGO = YEGO Yes, I know that’s an easy pun. YEGO by Gregory Coquelz, on Flickr I have practiced Yoga occasionally since my teens (I’m in my 40’s now). I started it because I had stress management issues and it really helped me. I keep doing it every now and then, whenever I feel like my body needs it… a few breathing exercises, a few poses… A few years ago, the idea to mix Yoga and Lego crossed my mind (that’s usually how it goes, if I like something I eventually try to give it the LEGO treatment). That being said, Yoga in LEGO form is not exactly intuitive or straightforward. LEGO is not exactly known for its bending properties... so, how to tackle this? I then thought of trying a brick-built character. My first one was the Lotus (Padmasana). Relatively simple, it seemed like a reasonable challenge. I was quite happy with the result… but it left me wanting something more. So, I continued to explore the possibilities until I had a series of 3 different characters. These first creations remained on a shelf for a while... every now and then I would have an itch to build another, until the day I was looking at 9 different characters striking all kinds of improbable poses. That’s when I realized I had a good idea, and that this concept could very well take the shape of an official LEGO set. YEGO is therefore now a LEGO Ideas project! Imagine a YEGO “starter kit”. A small set, 300-350 elements? Allowing to build 3 characters in different poses. Most of the elements are common to each pose... the possibilities are endless. The set could also include alternate building instructions – like a “Creator 3 in 1” set or the BrickHeadz “Brick me” set. The base character is meant to be neutral and androgynous – but it is also easily customizable. For instance, it would also only take the swapping of a few elements to represent a different skin tone or a different color of clothing. But the concept does not stop there. I envision that this set could also serve as an introduction to Yoga. Build the poses, and then practice then for real! I am mostly thinking of the younger audiences here (there is no age requirement to practice Yoga) … what better way to initiate your kids to Yoga than to do so with a LEGO set? If you feel that this project is interesting, I encourage you to click the link below and vote to show your support! https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/154cc77a-0764-4bc3-a17f-8ecc3916bd97 Here are a few additional close-up views of the different poses. Some are quite simple… others a lot less! That is another inevitability of the AFOL syndrome… we tend to over-complicate things quite often…) Left: Upward Bow (Urdhva Dhanurasana) Right: Scorpion (Vrischikasana in Pincha Mayurasana) Yego duo 1 by Gregory Coquelz, on Flickr Left: Warrior I variation (Virabhadrasana I) Right: Lord of the Dance Pose (Nataraja) Yego duo 2 by Gregory Coquelz, on Flickr Left: Warrior III (Virabhadra III) Right: Tree pose (Vrksasana) Yego duo 3 by Gregory Coquelz, on Flickr Left: Cobra (Bhujangasana) Right: Triangle (Trikonasana) Yego duo 4 by Gregory Coquelz, on Flickr Lastly, some of you may remember that this is not my first attempt at LEGO Ideas project. In 2010, my project “Shaun of the Dead, the Winchester” secured the necessary support to reach the review stage thanks to the incredible support of Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright. Sadly, it was then denied by LEGO. If you are interested to hear more about that story, check it out here: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/64112-an-internet-tale-winchestershaun-of-the-dead-project-on-cuusoo/ I can at least say that this slightly disappointing experience was not entirely for nothing – as it got me the fun name tag of “Valiant Effort” on this forum! (I never knew who to thank for that btw ). I had told myself never again… but you should never say never… and, I swear, this time no Zombies!
