  1. Hi, please, let me show to you my LEGO Ideas project: Pocahontas - Grandmother Willow I tried to build every character using existing and original LEGO pieces. This is why I have a weirdo racoon in the project. :) The body prints and clothes of Pocahontas is not perfect too. Project page: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/3758c858-025c-4699-886c-4262087b6598 You can see more details and the build from multiple angle in this video: Please, if you like this idea, support it! I would be happy if you could share your thougths in a comment on LEGO Ideas, or here. Thank you!
  2. Hi, I would like to show you my LEGO Ideas project: Charlie Chaplin - Modern Times. Check it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/75b74fd6-dd2d-42b5-87ff-5b7508434ece I wanted to recreate the first (and maybe most famous) scenes of this film, including the funny movement of The Little Tramp along the assembly line. I raised the base level and put the gears in it. With one single crank, both the machine and Chaplin moves. Please, if you like this idea, hit support button and tell your thoughts in a comment here or on LEGO Ideas project page! Thank you in advance, I really appreciate it.
  3. Hi EB, I've come up with a new medieval modular-style build: the Medieval Carpenter, I'm posting some renders here, as I think you'll like it. The Medieval Carpenter uses the same basic formula as my other recent project, the Medieval Butcher. It includes: the carpenter's work shed (or "shop"), the carpenter's house (built in a completely different style than the butcher's house, and inspired heavily by Rothenburg ob der Tauber), and a vignette of the carpenter working on a deer head wooden sculpture. See if you can spot some Forestmen eastereggs :) If you like the build, please support on LEGO Ideas! [MOC] House of Tools

Hi Everyone, Welcome to Brick Street 24. The House of Tools. This house is the home of the Tool Family. They are living here and working here, in their own Tool Shop. I created this idea based on my interest for old towns. Whenever I visit a city I never visited before, I always check out the old town part. I love the atmosphere there. I also like to build things, mostly from Lego bricks, but sometimes also from other materials. To be able to do that, I try to purchase the right tool for the right job. It was an obvious choice to combine these two interest of mine, in this old building. The model fits on a 32x32 base plates. Although the big old tree hangs out a bit. It is not a small set with it's 2870 pieces, however every one of them worth it. They all needed to create this beautiful scene in your old town. LEGO IDEAS I submitted this building as I can't believe modulars have no chance. I am sure there are many modular lover out there like myself, and sooner or later Lego will realize, these people are willing to pay for a modular more than just once a year. If you are one like me, I would really appreciate your support. Thank you! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/55e83de0-d514-4233-ac83-960cba258572
  5. This is my LEGO Ideas Rivendell project. You can support it here! You're support can help make this a real LEGO set! :D Description Rivendell, a collection of beautifully designed buildings, built by Lord Elrond in the 2nd Age of Middle earth. Nestled, almost hidden, among the trees of a deep gorge to the west of the Misty Mountains, Rivendell is the home of the Elves. Rivendell is one of the very key and more well know locations in Middle Earth, having many places named after it in real life. It plays a key role in both the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, as a safe haven and place of comfort to the characters in both stories. Build This highly detailed, architecture style model is built in roughly trophy figure scale (the same scale as the micro Hogwarts Castle set). I have tried to capture the architecural style and granduer of Rivendell as well as possible in such small scale and with LEGO bricks. I based my design on Weta Worksop's model of Rivendell, which you can view here. Although there is no particular right or wrong for how Rivendell looks, Weta Workshop was the company that designed all the props for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies, so I thought that their model would be a good place to start. Pieces This microscale model is actually quite a large set, containing 2578 pieces exactly. This number will obviously change a bit as I make changes to the model based on suggestions made by the community, but I will update it when I can! Would love to here what you think, and even more would love your support! Thanks for checking this out!
  6. Here it is! Refinished and redone, with a couple of added bits and bobs, the Mountain Oracle! Ascend the steps of her mountain sanctuary, and just maybe she'll speak to you of the future. This is a MOC I created a while back, I've made some upgrades since the first version. The fountain down in front, as one, as well as that waterfall coming out of the mountain. And a second partial tools up on the hillside to the right. And yes, that staircase is a lot more sturdy than you'd think. It's supported from underneath the platform landing as well as by several clear supports that are hidden behind the staircase itself. This is the original MOC, that's been improved. This MOC (the resubmission) is now gathering support with blazing speed on LEGO Ideas! If you like it and wish to support it, please consider doing so! Thank you! :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f31174e5-f828-4ea8-858b-9014d457cbfc You can check out more pictures here on the Flickr page!

    Hello Eurobrickers

Hello there, my name is Simon from Simons Brick World. I´m happy to see so much Lego fans in here and also such pretty and awesome builds. I started a small YouTube Channel in 2020. Since this time, my passion for building MOC´s cannot be stopped. My plan is to show people without space or capabilities that there is a good way creating Lego buildings and MOC virtual. I show them what is possible and try to give them some ideas to start their own online projects. Since the launch of my channel, I try to upload a new video every week. I would be very happy if you visit my YouTube Channel and maybe support me and my plan with a subscribe or by promoting the idea. You can also visit my brand new Instagram Account, named: simonsbrickworld Tell me if you want me to post my new MOC´s here too. Thanks for your time Happy Building Simon from Simons Brick World
  8. Hey guys, BrickHammer here, I have recently created another historic themed MOC for Lego Ideas: the "Legoredo Stagecoach". I tried to combine the historic aethetics of Wild West stagecoaches with LEGO's more colourful classic Wild West look. I originally had intended to include 6 minifigs (2 employees and 4 passengers) but LEGO moderates forced me to reduce the number to 4. I hope you like the build and I appreciate both your feedback and your support :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/e066297b-7595-4064-a4a8-344fb8abc988
  9. Hello EB, I'm fairly new, I wanted to share this project as I thought you'd like it. Hope you enjoy! I was interested to see the Brickfanatics article that mentioned a possibility of modular medieval sets, possibly coming from the Ideas pipeline. I expanded an earlier (and smaller) build (Small Medieval Market Village), and created the Medieval Butcher. The first component that I designed was the thatch roof. I was trying to create something unique and new. I was inspired by Namirob's unique roofing approach in his original Ideas Blacksmith project, and Wes and Austin's comments in the designer video, especially regarding the roof design. The end result is a butcher shop, house, and well, consisting of 1919 pieces that is inspired by many different sets and eras of LEGO Castle. For me, Forestmen and Lion Knights always play an inspirational role. (6067) Guarded Inn provided an inspiration for colors. (10193) Medieval Market Village and (7189) Mill Village Raid provided inspiration for the "village feel". Classic sets like like (1547) Black Knights Boat provided the inspiration for brick-built animals and animal heads (cows, pig, ravens), which are such a fitting medieval detail. (21325) Medieval Blacksmith provided the inspiration for the baseplates. I think (10270) Creator Bookshop's birch tree is one of the best designed LEGO objects of all time, so I emulated its design, but went more brick-built (less technic) and brought it into spring (not fall). 10. Hi guys BrickHammer here, something really crazy has just happened: my project "Bob's unexpected space adventure" was just selected to be one of 15 finalists for the LEGO Ideas gift with purchase space contest! Since there were so many amazing submissions and I submitted mine just for fun I cannot believe that it was picked to be part of the public voting phase. Since non of my friends is into LEGO and I thus do not have anyone to share my excitement with I decided to share it with you guys! I tried to capture a classic alien abduction seen and make it look playful and funny by using the classic space colours and a rather funny looking minifig. I hope you all like! If you want to make my day even crazier you can also support this project by voting for it https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/3a0cb2a7-395f-400c-8e0b-c3428041a8fe?challenge_phase=7c06daf0-7ee3-47e3-8346-051b5641bcd9&query=&sort=random !

    [MOC] The Village Post Office

Hi everyone It's been a while since I've posted a MOC on Eurobricks, in fact this is my first new MOC for over a year and the first building I've designed for almost 2 years. Anyway this is my latest creation "The Village Post Office". The model represents a typical British Post Office from the early 1930's and also features a vintage mail van. At first glance it may look like a modular but it is not. The model features an open back design and the different levels can't be separated. The base is also much different in size and design to a standard modular building. In total the model contains 2262 pieces. Here are some shots of the exterior... Notable features include an iconic red phone box, pillar box a bench and a tree. A series of steps at the side give the minifigs access to the first floor. INTERIOR DETAILS As mentioned earlier the building has an open back to give access to the interiors. On the ground floor is the main Post Office itself. I've tried to give this a rustic, vintage appearance with wooden floorboards and wood panelled service desk. Details include a cash register, lable dispenser, a set of weighing scales and shelves behond the desk for sorting all the mail. Opposite the desk is a parcel wrapping station. The idea for this was stolen borrowed from the Elf Clubhouse set. On the first floor above I've added an apartment which is home to the couple who run the Post Office. This is packed with everything they need including a bed, fireplace, kitchen and an antique gramophone. I didn't have space to include a toilet - but at least they have a bucket. VINTAGE MAIL VAN The mail van is a traditional red style truck as would have been used in Britain during the early 1930's. It is 6 studs wide and features opening rear doors and a removeable roof. The emblems on the van and postman are bespoke prints I created for this model. MINIFIGS AND OTHER DETAILS The model contains 4 mnifigs, a postman, customer and the husband and wife who run the post office and live in the appartment above. I've also included a bike and several animals. LEGO IDEAS My reason for designing this with an open back and with a unique style base was to try and distance it as much as possible from the modular buildings and hopefully give it a better chance of success on LEGO IDEAS. My hope is that if this was lucky enough to reach 10K then LEGO would view it as a standalone building in a similar way to The Old Fishing Store, and not something that would conflict with the modular building series. Anyway I hope you like the model. I had a lot of fun designing this one.. Feel free to let me know what you think. I'd also be massively grateful if anyone would be kind enough to support it on LEGO IDEAS as well. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/16ae1e95-cf30-41dd-ae23-36e07668df05 Thanks very much.
  12. We all know it happens, nothing new there, but this one has a train theme and this time it is not a Chinese company doing it. From this ... https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2854271f-9432-4193-ad74-305e7105ebc4 to this ... https://lozshop.com/product/loz-diamond-blocks-mini-street/loz-1031-city-european-style-subway-station-mini-street/ I would guess from the rebranding/reworking that they fear the IP lawyers of London Transport more than the IP lawyers of TLG. That is probably a fair assessment. ******* OK, I found it new, boxed, UK supplier on eBay for £37 including delivery. I know that it uses smaller blocks but I had to buy it at that price. I supported the original on Ideas and will still buy the real set if released. Let me know if you want a review.
  13. Howdy all! I’d like to show this expansive modular MOC that I’ve worked on and tinkered with for the past couple of months. It’s called BIONICLE Legacy: Storytelling with LEGO Bricks because I aimed to build something that conveyed what the theme represented to many fans, and the impact it had upon release 20 years ago. Even if you haven’t been overly fond of or familiar with the BIONICLE theme, I hope you’ll still take a few moments to check out this project! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b5456207-ed0d-4f44-a02b-b0dae424158e I’m very hopeful and proud of this project, but it has been struggling to gain the needed attention to progress, and it clearly won’t get very far without your help and support. I greatly appreciate all support, comments, and shares. Fingers crossed! :) Uploading images proved to be a bit tricky, but you can also find higher-res images at Flickr:
  14. Since I've recently picked up two large boxes from my parent's attic containing my old Classic Space sets, I've also started to design models in the spirit of the old Classic Space theme. I started with Classic Space / Star Wars mesh-ups (see here if you're curious), but then I wanted to do an homage to my favourite Classic Space set and here's the result: Unfortunately, my vision contains parts that use colours that Lego doesn't currently have in its inventory. So I had two choices, either to compromise on my design in order to make a regular MOC or to shoot for the stars and enter it on the LEGO Ideas platform...as the title indicates, I opted for the latter: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2a57e5ea-cf61-4129-b4ac-b09fe3d15107 As you can see, I wanted to modernise the design with more curves, slopes and tiles while keeping the classic look & feel, the clean, sleek appearance and as many features as I could. Also, Classic Space sets usually had dope play features, so it was important for me to also include some kind of gimmick, which is the fully detachable shuttle in the back: Two ships in one! Here are some more pictures: So if you like it, I'd appreciate it if you followed this link and support the entry so that this set can be made into a reality. Cheers.
  15. Hello to all members 😃 I would like to show this awesome gift that my friends have given me. This project was born from an incredible friendship story. Two guys, Jody and Roberto, to pay homage to myself, following a hilarious end-of-year live in which I pronounced the word "Space Shuttle" with a strong local accent (translated in "speisciattol"), took the ball and decided that, to tear me away an extra smile, they would have dedicated me a LEGO Ideas project in which I would have been the main minifigure along with my Classic Space shuttle (since it is a theme that I love) and therefore without my knowledge they "transformed" me into a LEGO Ideas project. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/aea1ad01-4e23-481e-9ee5-55e1b77d1c3f The idea is so crazy and beautiful at the same time that I'm sure it can open up new ways and ideas for new projects and I ask you, if you like, to help me get it to 10k votes 😃 Thanks all

    The adventure on LEGO Ideas

I wanted to share my experience with you. During the Covid I was forced to stay home a lot more than usual and then I decided to join LEGO Ideas with a project that you can find in my signature. It was well received and I had the push I needed to believe in it and then starting really advertising for it within my friends. But in the meantime I noticed some things that I do not like a lot about the ideas project and I will share them with you so that you may help me with your opinions. 1) Staff Picks. I really do not like Staff Picks. It's nice as the idea per se, but the effect is really surprising. The staff picked projects get a boost in visibility and hence in votes that changes totally the lifespan of the project. Projects that had 10 20 votes per day once picked were insanely boosted up to 400 votes per day. That is too much of a difference, showing that people will vote what they see, not what they really like, because the project has been there all the time, simply it wasn't that visible. 2) Cheating. It's very easy to cheat on the ideas platform. But in a sneaky way. You don't cheat directly on ideas, but you can use bots or programs to upvote your project in social medias like reddit, facebook or the like. When your project is very visible, it will draw a lot of attention and a lot of votes. I will not call names, that's not stylish and fair, but I've seen projects who get an insane amount of "likes/upvotes" on different social media platforms which cannot simply happen because the project is good. I have analyzed similar projects on similar plaftorms in the same time spans and I noticed very suspiscious activities. 3) It's stressful. Believe me, it is. There are days in which you gather 200 votes without doing anything special, those days you say "Yeah! I can do it". There are days in which though you ask friends for, or you have some spotlights somewhere, you will get 0 votes for hours and you say "No. It's over. I will never make 10k". This rollercoaster is really frustrating. I advice people to join LEGO Ideas only if you have a great deal of patience. I wish to read for your opinions.

    [IDEAS] [MOC] multi sports set

This is my first LEGO Ideas contest submission. Concept: one set to create multiple sports (more than shown here) so you can always build any sport you and your friends like with just one set, and start playing. The field is modular so you can I hope you'll love it, and will vote for it if you like it. Thanks! https://ideas.lego.com/s/ca:68a77abdd25247acb9f590a999774b55
  21. This was my entry for the latest LEGO Ideas Harry Potter competition, which won runner up. In this entry, I have recreated a diorama of Hogwarts and the grounds, and filled it with many of Harry's memories. This model was a lot of fun to make, especially because it is built in 3 different scales. One of the big challenges building the model was the angle the castle is place at; but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! You can probably see that the features of the Hogwarts grounds are not place correctly - but I have used a bit of artistic license to make a great diorama, with all Harry's memories. Some cool features of the model to look out for: Helmets for roof tops A wing for smoke A frog for the dragons head Thanks for reading! What do you think of the moc?

    [MOC] Secret of the Castle

Hi all! I want to share my classic castle creation "Secret of the Castle". I was inspired by the 35th Anniversary of Black Falcons and Lion Knights / Crusaders (1984 - 2019), and I wanted to celebrate it by creating this MOC. I submitted it to "Lego Ideas" two days ago, so if you like it you can support it there: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/23b323b3-99c8-4427-b89a-0c6a7d3b7cda If enough Historic-themed projects get a large amount of supporters on "Lego Ideas", maybe the Lego Group will realize there is enough interest in those kind of themes and they will finaly release some new historic-themed sets. Story The prince and the princess are in love with each other. Since they come from warring factions, their love must stay secret for now. He came all the way from his castle to see her, bringing her flowers from a forest. But will castle guards notice him? And will he return safely home through the dark forest, where outlaws are preparing an ambush? Design I designed this MOC to be an interesting model as a standalone set, with excellent play value. At the same time, I made sure that it fits nicely with classic Lego Castle sets, by using styles and standards of modular castle design from the 80s. It can be connected to any Castle building from that period (by using Technic pins at the ends of the castle walls). The color palette is limited intentionally so that it reflects the style of the classic Castle sets, because my goal was to give this MOC a strong "retro feel". Minifigures The princess and the prince are new miifigures, and the other minifigures have updated torso designs based on the designs from the 80s. All minifigures have two different faces - a classic "standard grin" face, and a face with modern design. The castle guards, Princess and Prince have double-faced heads (since their hair / helmet / hood covers the back of their heads). Two heads would be provided for the Forestwoman and Forestman (since their caps do not cover the back of their heads). Parts The total number of parts is 925. All parts are current - virtually all can be found in different sets released during 2018 / 2019 (some in a different color than in this set). Therefore, molds for all those parts should be available and so Lego would not have any problems producing them. Only new prints / stickers would be needed. I integrated some of the new elements and utensils in this build (for example, new types of panels and windows, new arches, flames on the torches, sack, pot, new sword, etc), but I chose only those that hopefully don't stand out too much from the "classic style". A new variant of Black Falcon’s shield is included, with whole Falcon in black color on white background.

[MOD] 123 Sesame Street Modular Building

"Can you tell me how to get how to get to Sesame Street?" While the official 123 Sesame Street set (21324) is undoubtedly adorable, it does not easily fit into the Modular Building style. I challenged myself to convert the set into the Modular style using pieces almost entirely exclusive to the set. The only pieces that I needed to use in addition to the set's pieces were tiles for the sidewalk, two 1 x 2 brick with hole (in medium nougat), and a 16 x 32 baseplate. With the modifications, I think this design fits rather nicely alongside the official Modular Buildings! Anyone who may be interested in the instructions can find them here and on Rebrickable! Like all official Modular sets, I was able to design the building to be enclosed on all four sides. Additionally, the roof and second floor can be removed to view and access the interiors! The interiors contain many of the same memorable details from the official set (e.g. Ernie's iconic bathtub); however not all of the same details could be included since the official set's building is 6 studs wider. Below is a closer look at the front and back - since I limited myself to only using the pieces in the set, you can see the dark orange bricks from Hooper's Store needed to be used to provide a "weathered" look on the back. Now I can't wait to pick up the set and it this to my LEGO City!
