    Seinar Fleet Systems TIE Bomber

This was the first Star Wars MOC I created, and I packed in as much detail as I possibly could using the original movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. The blue color comes from numerous source materials, even though it does look out of place. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362172

    Seinar Fleet Systems TIE Fighter

This is my TIE Fighter MOC, based off an enlarged solar array design of the recent LEGO Group TIE Fighter and my TIE Interceptor cockpit and pylons design. I used photos of the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections as well in the creation if my TIE. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362176

    Seinar Fleet Systems TIE Interceptor

This is my TIE Interceptor MOC, designed from the movie models and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. It shares its main structure with my TIE Fighter MOC, but with the distinctive Interceptor wings. Please leave feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/362175
  4. This is my movie-accurate Lambda-Class Imperial Shuttle, designed from pictures of the movie model, set photos of the full-scale mockup used for filming, and the book Star Wars Complete Cross Sections. It is highly detailed inside and out, with a full interior with space for 6 minifigures in the cockpit and a further 18 in the cargo/passenger compartment and a detailed drive section. The wings are fully positionable, as is the boarding ramp, wing cannons, and fully retracting landing gear. The MOC borrowed the basic head design from the UCS model but is 1.5 times larger and much more faithful to the source material. This MOC took a week to build, with particular challenges in the wing fold mechanism and landing gear. Would love to hear feedback! http://mocpages.com/moc.php/380384

    PTC - Capt. Stabbin/Yawgmoth

[pid][/pid] 247A Greetings! Well, after a nice time planning, building, getting feedback, rebuilding, and getting everything done, we finally got our entry done: The Lighthouse Guard & The Imperial Tavern Both sets were designed to match each other and make a long redcoat harbor. We decided to stick to a classic design, with some details from the new 2009 pirates wave. Both sets provides great playability by their own, but when paired, the posibilities are almost limitless! The way we decided to connect through technic pins, allows to merge both sets in several ways! promoting creativity and play value. With no other introduction, we are proud to present our entry to the Pirate Team Contest From Capt. Stabbin: The Lighthouse Guard From Yawgmoth: The Imperial Tavern I gotta say it was really fun, I'd do it again anytime, so I shall extend a BIG thanks for this idea, and the general concept of this competition!

    [MOC] AT-ST 3.0

After disassembling most of my sets, the only vehicle that I kept built was the AT-ST from the battle of endor set, but I realized how flimsy it looked to me and even though I moded it I was not satisfied and since I totally dislike play features and useless mechanisms like that silly "walking" function I started to work with my new surplus of bricks and came up with this one, a combination of characteristics of other walkers like the previos versions of the AT-ST and the latest AT-RT, what I wanted was to make it sturdier and mostly brick built, so without further ado, here it is: P1010003 por Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010010 por Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010018 por Nom Carver, en Flickr P1010027 por Nom Carver, en Flickr more details on my flickr:

    Imperial Barracks

[pid][/pid] 244A This is my first build in the Pirate theme. It was a lot of fun to build and I plan to do lots more Pirate builds. The barracks has a full interior, and the doors can open. The Imperial Barracks sits on a corner of the Imperial Fort. Any C&C appreciated.

    REVIEW: 6265 Sabre Island

[pid][/pid] Here is my Review of the System Pirates set; Sabre Island. (6265) This set was released in 1989 and features 3 Minifigures; two imperial soldiers and one officer (Lt. de Martinet as stated by Lego) This set has 92pcs. It comes with the island and a rowboat. I have even more awesome System sets on the way! Let me know what you think of it, and leave your comments below!
  10. [pid][/pid] Hey Guys, here is a review of the Classic System Imperial Flagship 6271! I hope you enjoy, I thought it may be cool to see this set in more detail! Since the price of this set varies, anywhere from about $80 onward, it is up to you whether it is worth it or not. I have had mine in my collection for a long time, when I got it as a gift it was NIB. Personally I love it, and think it is an essential to any pirate or imperial navy collection! Set 6271, 375pcs. 1992 Lego System
  11. "Trooper TX201 to Command. Do you read? My transport crashed on Tatooine and I am the only trooper left. While hunting for survivors, I stumbled into one of the planet's marshes, and I'm still there. I can see a sandcrawler on the horizon- hopefully, the Jawas will take me to the nearest city- but the swamp lies between me and the vehicle. There's a narrow strip of sand surrounded by fetid green slime. Weeds and tentacles are rising from the water and entangle the path. Please send a dropship. Repeat, please send a dropship. Dragonfire out." I heard about this challenge four days before the deadline. As I have a limited supply of bricks, am separated from most of my bricks, and do not own any of the three sets, I've built a mini-MOC featuring only 20 pieces (not counting my sigfig). I only did this because there is only one Imperial MOC so far and I want to give the Empire more of a chance than it has already (even though I'll probably only get 1 point overall ). Pieces:
  12. After the disgraceful events on Bespin, the star destroyer Avenger has stopped at the Hutt moon of Nar Eurbrikka, awaiting its next mission. I found this brief time perfect to drop by the Imperial Outpost on the moon, and spend the credits I earned upon my promotion in the Imperial navy. Imperial Officer: Welcome, pilot. We have heard of your brave actions on Bespin, it's a shame that the battle was lost. I also should congratulate you on your promotion. Artizan: Thanks, officer. It is a shame indeed. I am here to make some modifications on my TIE fighter. Imperial Officer: Ah, I have to tell you that we cannot do such modifications here, it is against the imperial regulations. You may, however, want to check the local junk dealers around here. I bet they have the parts you are looking for. Artizan: That will do. Toydarian: An outlander! How can I help you? Tell me what you are looking for, I have everything!! Artizan: I am looking for a hyperdrive to upgrade my TIE fighter. Toydarian: TIE fighters are not designed to carry hyperdrives, you know, but I have something special here. It is a class-2 hyperdrive, which will fit on your starfighter. I have to tell you, it is pricey. Have you got the money to pay for it? Artizan: I have enough Imperial credits. Toydarian: Credits!? Imperial credits are no good out here. I need something more real! Artizan: Look, take these credits, or I'll have your pitiful shop closed by the imperial garrison. Toydarian: Ok ok, take it easy. Credits will do fine. As the junk dealer went on to prepare the hyperdrive parts, I overheard two Rodians talking about imperials. They must have assumed I did not know Huttese, as they were not very careful with using their tongue. Rodian 1: These imperial scum make me sick, they are everywhere! They make the business go bad. Rodian 2: I agree, brother. I lent a stormtrooper some money, he said he would pay it back after he returns from a mission on Tatooine. Rodian 1: You fool, what have you done! He won't come back, I tell you, don't make any deals with the ones going to Tatooine, they are all going to perish. Rodian 2: What do you know? Rodian 1: I have an associate on Nar Shaddaa, he works for the Black Sun. He said something about a trap on Tatooine, which will devestate both Imperials and Rebels. In fact, I am going to see him today. I have to go now, I have a meeting with him in a Nar Shaddaa bar, I don't want to be late. The Toydarian returned with the parts, I paid him the money, and quickly followed the Rodian thug's ship to Nar Shaddaa. I don't know what awaits me there... (I want this freebuild to be scored, thanks for looking!)
  13. Well, it started off nicely, I was hitting every target they threw at me. But I had it on full thrust for too long after trying to hit an X-wing leader for what seemed an age... and overheated an ion conducting relay. That fried the circuits, and what bloody good timing! An officer happened to be coming along. After getting an earbashing, I was told not to go back in it for a week and to read up on the flight manual again. Its been such a long day Tie flight sim by Daft Vader1, on Flickr http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ This is my first ever scenario trying to depict part of a storyline. The thought came to me trying to think what a pilot would be doing randomly in his spare time/life while on board the Death Star. Unfortunately my parts/plates etc is very limited, and so are my photo skills :( I often find it difficult trying to build something completely from scratch and so I can only apologise for the crudeness in which this appears in!

  15. I recently stumbled on the work of Master Beef (with fries) on flickr, and his work is very impressive. Take for example his Lambda-class shuttle: Somehow he manages to interrupt the smoothness and appears to have altered some of the angles of the ‘real’ vehicle — and yet the model is unmistakeable, it looks very Star Wars-ish, and it looks refined, done with seemingly tacked-on shapes but with purpose, like good greebling. Plus there’s some very nice shaping in there. And don’t miss his other Star Wars MOCs, like his Y-wing and his 74-Z:

  19. Ladies and Gents, here is my first PIrate Brickfilm in 5 years! ( wow, that long already?!) It's only a test really, but i'll be making another 10-20 seconds each weekend from now on until I get bored and decide to start a bigger project Brickfilm ( I already have the idea in my head, basing it off the Lego Pirate comic) Anyways, without further ado, here it is! Please tell me what you think and what I could improve on it. Getting a new camera is not really an option at the moment, so excuse the camera quality :p EDIT: Dagnabbit,,, I posted it to the wrong place >< could an administrator please fix this? sorry...

    The Grimm Galleon

This here is a ship I built just before my dark ages, about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm calling it the Grimm Galleon because it is a very depressing looking ship :P With it originally, the only minifigure was the Bluecoat with the Morion helmet, on a lonely 6 year voyage through the dark ages. Grim! Also, sorry for the bad image quality, I have yet to set up a proper place to take photos of things. Here's a view of the back of the boat, it seems the sail supports are slightly off :s there's 3 chests in behind the steering wheel, ready for pillaging! Here's a view into the cannons and the lower deck. Again, this ship isn't exactly a work of art, it's the last thing I made before my dark ages :p This is the Captain, who is just the Shakesperian actor from the collectible minifig series, with a peg leg and bicorne. He looks despairingly out across the blue oceans, Here's the final shot of the ship,... where it looks it's best. Pretend the Jolly Roger is a different flag, please! Anyways, I just wanted to get some pictures of this up here before I take it apart and build a different ship, probably based off the Carribean Clipper. Thanks for looking :) Please give me some constructive criticism!
  21. (07-03-2013) I've redone the photographs with a white(ish) background. This should show the model more clearly. Hope you like! Hi all! I'm diving deeper into Star Wars starfighter obscurity with this very niche model. The Missile Boat only appeared in a handful of Star Wars games (like the extended edition Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance). Oddly enough, after making my Star Wing/Assault Gunboat known to the public I've gotten requests to do the Missile Boat next (more than one even). So here it is! Not a render: a real brick build ship! As always: it's buildable (duh), in minifig scale, (almost) no rare parts and no flick-fire missiles. And unlike my first MOC (the Star Wing), this one is rock solid from the get go! Seriously, it's smaller than the Star Wing, but still weighs about the same. It's very sturdy and swooshable. TL;DR: model files are at the end(ish) of the post. For those unfamiliar with the craft (which is probably 99% of you ) The Missile Boat was an advanced Imperial starfighter designed by Admiral Thrawn and built by Cygnus Spaceworks. Designed as a countermeasure against the rogue Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin and his supply of TIE Defenders, the Missile Boat was a descendant of the Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing, also manufactured by Cygnus Spaceworks. The Missile Boat relied primarily on warheads for dogfighting and assaults, a notable difference from other Imperial starfighters, which relied more heavily on laser cannons. The Missile Boat also included an innovative propulsion feature known as the SubLight Acceleration Motor (SLAM). (source: Wookieepedia) And there you have it. Finding source material was even harder than for the Star Wing as the craft only makes its appearance in two games. To make it even more challenging, the models differ greatly between the two games. Oddly enough the X-Wing Alliance Update project also did their (rather excellent) version, which is also diffent. I've included a comparison below. What can I say? I like a challenge! These images and the fact that it's supposed to be 10m long (about 32 studs in minifig scale) was what I got to work with, so I've taken a few liberties as well. Luckily, there are a number of similarities between the craft, like the way the wings are angled, the missilepods on top, big rear engines, narrow(ish) cockpit. I've tried to use similar techniques to the Star Wing; as they are related, it should show. Here are some more views of the result. And I do apologise for my feeble photographing skills: all I had to work with were a bit of cloth, some desklamps and an old compact camera. From the front: Shot from the rear: A side view: Next to it's older brother: Lego®-vision drawing: Render of possible color variations: I'm actually rather taken with the blue one (though I build a red one as the craft in the games are all with red markings). As always, I've shared my lxf files so you can build it yourself. It's 654 pieces in total (165 unique; and that's including the mini-fig) and all can be found on bricklink in good quantities. There are a couple of things you need to mind, but I'll get to that later. Files v1.0: The model assembled v1.0 (in parts): The model broken down in main components. If you are going to build it in real bricks, I suggest you use this file as it will force LDD to generate instructions for each major component, making building easier. Building Notes As I've mentioned before: all parts should be available in good quantities. There are, unfortunately, some parts you need to mind: The Classic grey wedge 6x4; you'll need two and only the 6153a variant is available in this color (which is not in LDD; only the b-variant). There's no alternative (sorry) but the part seems to be available in good quantities. Any suggestions on how to do the nose section without this part (and dump classic grey altogether) is very much welcome. The Light Bley Brick, Modified 2 x 4 x 1 1/3 with Curved Top; it turned out to be way harder to find than I expected, but it looks good on the model. If you have trouble sourcing it, or find it too expensive, you might want to consider using only 2x1x1 1/3's instead. It might require some extra reinforcement underneat though. The Wheel 30mm D. x 13mm (13 x 24 Model Team); it's an older part (last set to feature it is C-3PO from 2001), so most likely you'll only find used ones. Do not confuse this with partno. 60208. The 2695 has a shallower rim and has rounded edges as well. You could use the 60208 (for example if you want the thrusters in dark bley) as it fits, but I personally feel that they don't look right. As with the Star Wing, I suggest that you build it in main components (grab the parts file!) and later assemble those. As always, the LDD instructions are weird and unlogical, so I suggest you spend a little time looking around the model and skipping through the instructions a couple of times just to make sure you won't have to wedge a plate inbetween two brick already there. A quick pointer while building the main hull: LDD will want you to build it in one go, but I advice you to build it in 3 seperate components. A 4-step plan below. Start with the cockpit and internal skeleton (much like the instructions) Seperately, construct the top panel To the same for the bottom panel (just follow the instructions, but don't add it on to the model) Assemble! Unpictured step: the engine part (the dark bley bits at the end) is pretty straightforward. Add it before putting the top panel on. And that should do it. Thank you for reading!
  22. Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but I hope so. On Cuusoo, Paulwiseone and myself have designed several updated TIE variants, designed to match the 2012 TIE fighter model. I am trying to drum up support for these models in the hope that Lego pays attention and starts building more of the imperial fighters into their Lego Star Wars lineup. Please check them out, and if you like them, support them. Thank you. :-) TIE Interceptor: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/31941 TIE Bomber: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/34378 TIE Advanced x1: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/21227 TIE Avenger: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33269 TIE Defender: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33270
