  1. Previous Chapter: Beyond Vanhorn --- Next Chapter: Rest in the Tavern Before the sun dipped behind the horizon, Aurthal stopped Aeldric for a word before they headed off to the Nocturnian chamber. "Aeldric, I have seen your interest in Ashura. I can see that you are interested in no other female. After this task, i will consider your relationship with her." Aeldric was stunned. "I.... I never said i was interested in her." Aurthal gazed deeply into Aeldric's eyes. "No, but i can see it in the way to look at her. Your eyes glint when you glance at her." Aeldric paused for a moment, then broke his silence. "We musn't dwell on this. Let us head into the chamber." Aeldric strode over to the entrance to the underground chamber where Voraal, Ashura, and Anursa were waiting. Aurthal was slow to head there, but once he reached the entrance he began a plan of action. "Okay, we will sneak in through the tunnels, and when we reach the throne room, i will do the speaking. While i talk to the evil lord, Anursa, Ashura and Voraal will sneak into the dungeons in the back and free my friend. Any questions?" everyone shook their heads. "Good, let's head in." The chamber halls were dark, but light filtered in from the throne room. Once they reached the door way, an undead guard pointed the tip of his halberd at Aeldric. The pale looking, dark armored man sitting on the throne in the back of the room spoke up. "What are you doing in my sacred hall?! How did you find it?" he exclaimed. "I was lead here by this elf," Aeldric said, stepping aside Aurthal. "Aurthal?! I thought my guards killed you!" the lord boomed. "So you thought, but it was i, who defeated your guard." Aurthal returned. "Guard, attack him!" by the lord's side stood a dark looking woman, who caught the particular eyes of Voraal. His interest in her nearly removed concentration on sneaking past the guard. Aeldric leaped forward at the necrotic guard, while Aurthal began casting destructive spells at the evil lord. "Your vampirism has made you weak to my fire!" Aurthal remarked. "Yes, but," said the vampire lord, standing up out of his throne. "It also makes me stronger than most." he said, picking up his spear to his right. He charged at Aurthal with a deadly fury. Meanwhile, in the back dungeons... Voraal, Ashura and Anursa infiltrated the dungeon halls, and slew every guard in the vicinity. "Hurry now, before more guards come, unlock the cell door!" Voraal exclaimed. "Alright, give me patience, this takes concentration." Ashura held her staff in front of her, and the green jewel on the tip of her staff began to glow, and the cell door clicked, and swung open. "Taunus, awake!" Ashura said, pulling a sleepy old man out of the cell. "What! Who's there?! Wait, Ashura? Is that you, my, you've grown. I remember you since you were a little toddler!" "Yes, yes, Taunus, skip the memories, we must go!" Ashura commanded. "Alright, it's about time i smelled the fresh air again." Back in the throne room... Aurthal lay on the floor, severely wounded. Axtrous, the vampire lord and Temari the sorceress had fled. Aeldric finished off the last necro-guard, before heading over to Aurthal. Aurthal caughed up a bit of blood. Aeldric pulled the black tip of Actrous' spear out of Aurthal's stomach. ".....Aeldric, you must hunt Axtrous down.....*cough* and..... defeat him. Taunus will help you find Dar, but please, for my sake, kill Axtrous with all your might. He....... was.... one of the..... Necromancers..... who killed..... your family...." Aeldric's eyes widened. "If you complete this quest, i then i give you permission... to marry my sister...." and with that, Aurthal died in Aeldric's arms. ---- Alright guys, so, i tried a different way of story telling this time. Let me know what you think. Also, this is a fairly old build, and was built before the Avdar's Office remake. Constructive Criticism is welcome.
  2. (Sorry that i've been a bit inactive. I've been really busy with school, and it's been hard ot find a time to put this up. More builds on the way, enjoy!) Previous Chapter: Avdar's Office (Remake) --- Next Chapter: Chambers of the Nightlord (And now, Beyond Vanhorn) The forest smelled fresh with the breath of the old trees. A soothing breeze swept through the leaves. Aeldric and Voraal were on their secret patrol through the forest for the elves. They came up to a small ruin. All was quiet, until a duo of female elves leaped out of the thick brush. They held their staves against Aeldric and Voraal. Ashura: "Who are you?" Anursa: "Why are you in our forest?" Aeldric took a moment to gather his thoughts. He glanced at Ashura with eyes of interest. Aeldric: "My friend and I gathered detail about you, a special group of elves, and we came to look for you for answers about Dar Askelohn." Anursa remained quiet. She was rather shy. Ashura glanced at her. Then back to Aeldric. Ashura: "What about Dar?" Aeldric: "We found a tomb with his name engraved upon it. I thought he went missing in the mountains just beyond the border of Mitgardia." Ashura: (left) pondered this. "Our older brother may have some answers to this." Ashura led Aeldric and Voraal deeper into the ruins, and before them sat a male elf on a birch throne, with a green jewel of temperance above it. Ashura: "Bow to him, man." Ashura commanded Aeldric. Aeldric stepped forward, and gave the elf a light bow. He noticed that the throne was wrapped in vines, and overgrown with lush nature. Aurthal: "What do you wish to know about my friend?" the elderly elf asked. Aeldric: "I would wish to know of his whereabouts. We found a tomb in the forest with his name upon it, and i thought he went missing in the north. Aurthal: "He did. There are many false graves of the knowledge master. He does live now, and i can show you to him, but only if you do a favor for me." Aeldric: "What would that be?" he asked, glancing once again at Ashura. She gave him a light nod. Aurthal: "I have been having troubles with a group of necrotic Nocturnians in the forest. They have built a secret underground structure housing another of my friends. He may be able to help you find Dar. You must help us rescue him, and defeat the leader of this group." Aeldric ran his fingers through his hair. He'd never dealt with a group of evil power. He considered it deeply. Aeldric: "Voraal and i will help you defeat this group, in return for knowledge of Dar's whereabouts." Aurthal: "Very well. You will meet us at the entrance tomorrow at dusk. Might i ask why, you need to find Dar?" Aeldric: "I lost my parents a long time ago, to a group of black-hearted necromancers. I know that Dar could help me find this group, and put my revenge upon them." Alright guys, this build was before the remake of Avdar's Office, so those tips didn't apply here. Also, i know there's no base or frame for the build. I just couldn't find a good look for it. Anyways, leave your thoughts!
  3. Despite the call to war he issued, Vladivus has not forgotten the people he serves. Whilst travelling through the villages hunting the Spire, he often stops to aid the villagers in their daily tasks, thereby helping to secure the hearts and minds of the people against the Spire. Here, he helps the undead farmer Ikthas to harvest the purpura berries, which are a Nocturnian staple, although the juice is fatal to humans. And a bonus interior shot! This is the first time I've tried a proper interior on a building- the door opens (just). I also tried to introduce different angles on the roof- I'm envious of those builders who make this seem effortless. Anyway, C+C is very much welcome!

    Wild Horse Herd

During my wanderings through Avalonia, I saw a herd of wild horses. While I was watching, I saw that the donkey was the lead animal. That was so strange that I decided to catch him, hoping that all others would follow him. It worked. Now I bring them to Kaliphlin. They can certainly use horses for reconstruction after the civil war. But when they are hungry, they will probably not be too tired to make this sausage. What's the name again? Salami, right? Overview shots: ___________________________________________________________________________ This was a quick construction eve with my daughter (3). She built beside me this pretty horse pasture: and also my first entry for the Historica Husbandry By the way: I know that I am not a good photographer
  5. Pellania’s healing mixture Once upon a time Petricel was on another wandering through Avalonia, he saw a lonesome nice looking Dwarven Lady. He was impressed from her agile walk and even more that she was armed with a slingshot. So Petricel asked her, if he can followe her and help with whatever she is doing! Perina Perina (what a wonderful name for a dwarven Lady.-) took with him to her house Pellania. Where Petricel found out that she is mixing a healing mixture. The mains substance ist the blooming head from Floweria Lisenua. A seldom, over man’s high flower, Petricel never saw bevor. Perina told him that they grow normaly on warm places and mostly on stony ground. She has started to cultivate it. Soon Petricel started to learn how to mix the healing mixture. How this mixture would help he only can imagine by all the great storys Perina told him. Even nearly death man came back to normal within hours. How it worked for animals saw Petricel at Perinas Dog. He was knocked down by a stone fall. Now he is back alvie but Petricel has somehow feel something is missing… Anyway Petricel is willing to mix a full barrel and bring it to Kaliphlin. There are still many people suffering ;-( And how knows that could become a known Trademark called Pellania’s healing mixture Overview shots Entrance: Back: ___________________________________________________________________________ I tried to do some new techniques for me. So C & C are welcome. This was also the first time I gimped my fotos…
  6. Just over a year since I first joined GoH I finally have a more detailed character backstory! As a boy Parimere grew up in the Ansfel border post (were his father was garrisoned) situated between Kaliphlin and Avalonia. During his late teens he journeyed with his father through three of the four guilds- Avalonia, Mitguardia and Kaliphlin, (his fathers diplomatic work never took him to the guild of Nocturnus). Following the passing of his father he was left with a choice, since he had spent most of his life in either Kaliphlin or Avalonia, he was left with a hard choice, the guild of trees or the one of deserts? In the end he chose Kaliphlin in the south as his home In the years that followed he became a lord of Kaliphlin, frequently wandering through the guild, especially near the coast and occasionally abroad. And that is the tale of Lord Parimere of Kaliphlin.
  7. Food is in shortage as the effects of the Civil Wars take their toll. In northern Mitgardia, hunting is a necessary part of life to provide food. The pine forests are full of different types of wildlife, but a deer is a special prize, due to its size. Two Mountaineers are out hunting one evening when they find a trail by a stream that is well-passed by deer. Able to camouflage themselves completely, the Mountaineers hide in the trees and wait. Before long, they have a chance that cannot be passed up: a buck and a doe come to the stream to drink. Using a birdcall, the Mountaineers signal the shots and wait for the perfect chance. Just as both deer stoop to drink, perceiving no danger, each Mountaineer rapidly draws his bow and sends an arrow into the heart of his deer. With a start, the deer leap up, but the shots are true. The Mountaineers each track their quarry and find the deer when they finally fall. Slinging the deer over their shoulders, the Mountaineers head for home with a sufficient supply of meat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for viewing! Constructive criticism is much appreciated! More detail pictures are on Flickr. Sorry to not include story pictures, but every time I moved my hands near the stream I knocked off a grass stem, which cascaded into more grass stems getting knocked over when I tried to set up the first... This build was inspired by two ideas I have had for a while: using droid torsos for deer heads and bodies, and using droid arms and the curving spiked foliage piece for a pine tree. I am satisfied with both of the results, though I wish I had some other way to fill the holes in the deer other than using arrows... -Slegengr
  8. In times of famine and food shortages, most Avalonians stayed in Avalonia, peacefully tilling their fields, harvesting crops, or hunting animals. Gremlon and Elisa, however, decided to deal with the food shortages in a different way. As such, they went to a small isle in Nocturnus... ...to raid the homes of the evil Nocturnians to get food for the more-deserving Avalonians! I decided to take a bit of a different approach to the challenge, as you can see . Note that though I'm an Avalonian, this MOC is set in Nocturnus - hence the colors and fairly dark overall look. Thanks for viewing! You can see more pics in the flickr album.

The Algus Saga - Two Minor Victories

Boosted by the help of a Nobleman Colonel Upright was able to drive the Algus back in a fierce fight at the pass. Armed with utter cuteness, Duke Fasel himself was able to add a second minor victory against the Algus at the same place one day later! For Mitgardia! ... to be continued... In the "Captain Braunsfeld's part of the Algus Saga" you are here: Part 5 1) The Beacon of Bruns Fall 2) Defending the North 3) Southern Comfort 4) Help from a Nobleman 5) Two Minor Victories 6) Water does not stop them! 7) What's that coming over the hill? 8) Where the Rainbow Spell came from 9) AppleCalypse Now!
  10. Here is my entry to the Husbandry Challenge, Hope you like it. I am very proud of the ground and path, so please give me feedback on that part "So, where are we going again? And why does there have to be a guard, well, guarding us?" Tofalru asks? Tofalru is a big guy, a good and strong warrior, but he lacks a lot in brainpower. "For the 36th time," Alfadas sighed, "we are delivering supplies to small villages in the area, because their farms and mills are burned down or abandoned. They don't have food. The guard is here, because the latest convoy didn't reach it's destination. We, my dad and I, suspect hungry orcs are the cause of that. Or the Giant Wolves. That's why I travel along with you". "O yes, you said that already... Must have forgo..." Kraack!! "What happened?!" Alfadas runs back. One of the carts lost a wheel. "Great... Just what we needed" With that, Alfadas orders the guards to keep watch to their surroundings. None of the guards notice an orc spying on them. Alfadas asks Tofalru to secure the barrels on the cart. Alfadas starts inspecting the broken wheel. There isn't a lot of damage. Alfadas calls Tofalru and Ogmund, the flagcarrier. Tofalru manages to lift the cart high enough for Alfadas and Ogmund to repair the cart. But before they can put the wheel on, an orc jumps on the cart. The orc lets out a warcry. Splatsh! One of the guards had thrown her spear and hit the orc right in the guts. He falls. Two more orcs appear, but the other guards quickly take them down. Alfadas and Ogmund quickly put the wheel on, Tofalru loads the barrels on the cart. The journey continues. and the last picture, figles:
  11. Previous Chapter: The Tomb of Dar Askelohn --- Next Chapter: Beyond Vanhorn So, i thought about the comments in my previous post in this part of Aeldric's story, So i though i'd remake the scene. Enjoy!) Aeldric: "Sir Avdar," Aeldric said, stepping into the dim-lit office. Avdar: "What is it?" Avdar replied, with an old, gruntish-voice. Aeldric: "Voraal and i came across a small, burnt down cottage deep in the forest. We found a large opening in the flooring, and we went down inside. The secret basement was a large room, full of headstones." Avdar: "And what does this have to do with your patrol?" Aeldric: "Well, one of the tombs had a large plaque on it, which said 'Here lies Dar Askelohn, the knowledge founder.' And didn't Dar Askelohn go missing in the mountains to the north?" Avdar: "Yes, he did. But this does not concern you and your patrols. Now get out before I double your work time." Avdar lashed out. Aeldric stepped outside and into the streets of Albion, where Voraal had been waiting for him. Voraal: "Are we going to go patrol for the elves?" Aeldric gazed out to the dark, cloud covered sky. Aeldric: "Yes, though Avdar won't know." Aeldric and Voraal then head down the street, and to the stables to set back out for Vanhorn. Alright guys, so leave me any thoughts on the build, and if you have any suggestions on the story, please post them! More pics: My first SNOT below:
  12. The building in which Samuel Marron and his men had moved (New Home for the City Watch) was fine but a bit gloomy in parts. So it was decided to renovate the City Watch Headquarters. A well-known well-paid architect was called in to oversee the work: Many things needed to be changed... .. but most importantly, Major Marron had to decide how to replace the existing gargoyles. Local craftsmen had prepared several promising suggestions: They were of such high quality that it was very difficult to choose. As you can see in the subsequent MOC (which was posted earlier) Marron made a good decision (The Algus Saga: The Beacon of Bruns Fall) C&C welcome.
  13. The renovation of the city watch headquarters has been completed: As for the gargoyles, classic dino/dragon design had been chosen. Major Marron and the architect: The basement (once a wine cellar) now consists of prison cells: Thanks for watching!

A Marriage for the History Books

Before his death in the Mystic Isles, Cassius's advisor, Alfred, had taken on the duties of a father and had begun looking for a suitable match for his young duke. His death, however, hindered him from ever finishing his search. When Alfred's body was retrieved from the swamplands to receive a proper burial, there was also found in the tower several sheafs of paper, one of which had a list of potential suitors inscribed on it. Acting on this list, Cassius began to search for a woman to marry. After pursuing many leads that led to unsuitable (sometimes bearded in the case of the northern neighbors) people, he eventually met the one for him in a small, yet politically important Kaliphlinian city. Her name was Kathryn, of the House of Belloc. After being engaged for some time, the two were finally joined in matrimony in the Great Cathedral in Burnby. And thus begins a new chapter of the history of Burnby, now under the rule of not just a Duke, but now also a Duchess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wow, it been a while since I've posted something here! This has actually been built since, like, March maybe, but I've just now gotten around to posting it. Sorry for the hiatus, but I should be back regularly now!
  15. The Capital of Albion is packed full of many things to encounter. There are shops, bakeries, houses, and libraries. Here is one example of a Library in Albion: And Here's some rambling Fellows: And an elf librarian coming to quiet them down. He looks rather upset. And a knowledge seeker, seeking knowledge. Here's the build, Figless, a bit blurry: A closer look at some of the props: And my first door technique: So yeah, any constructive comments are appreciated. Thanks all, ;) ~Windusky

    Brackenwood Outpost

Based on the Nocturnus border, Brackenwood Outpost helps protect the region from bandits and enemy armies. This was my first MOC in a while, so I'm a bit out of practice, and I've also been away from GoH for a while and I have no idea whats going on in the story line, so I just did a random build. Young Alfred, heir to the Brackenwood lands, talking to the outpost commander. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.
  17. The underground base of the Southern Dwarves in the Kaliphlin Rakath Mountains... This young dwarf reflects on how much his life has changed since the war started. Before the war started and the Southern Dwarves declared their support for the Desert King life was very different. Back then the dwarves focused more on the arts and craftsmanship, but these days sculpting and carving are not considered a priority and have been put aside in order to make more room for weapons and supplies for the war. Nowadays inventors only job is to create weapons of war... and the alchemists brew deadly concoctions designed corrode or explode The forges are lit day and night as dwarves workers build weapons to arm the Desert king's forces. and now the young dwarf must grow up from a kid to a man as he prepares to go to war and fight for his King... Extra pics: The desk A shelf C&C appreciated. I am still not to happy with some of the pictures, but they are all WAY better than before
  18. In the Darklands of Historica, a mage is training hard to get stronger. He is still young, but Exetrius is determined to become as strong as his father, known as the great wizard Onicius. He is a remarkable figure, worthy a story of his own. This is the beginning of the Onicius prologue. Onicius prologe Part 1: The village raid The story unfolds in a little, peaceful town in Khaliphlin. Nowadays, it is probably long gone under the sands or destroyed by the raging civil war. About four decades ago, a white-haired boy was watching the activity in the street in front of his parents house. It was around noon and his younger sister had run off somewhere to play in the blazing heat. He had warned her not to do so, but the brat wouldn't listen. He sat back in the shade and enjoyed the slow-paced life in the village. A little while later, he climbed down the ladder and went inside the house to get himself some bread. He heard some faint sounds of a neighing horse and a approaching carriage, outside the village's wall. Those were followed by clattering of metal: armored men were running into the village. Then, he heard a loud bang. A figure in black robes had struck the guard on duty like a fire bolt. In the meantime, the armored intruders were storming the street. Anxious but curious, Onicius opened the front door, which revealed the gruesome fate of the drunk guard who had been sitting at the corner of the house.... He immidiately shut and locked the door, every muscle in his body was trembling. He felt sick. He waited for the street to subside. In the distance he heard a familiar girl scream. His sister! He rushed outside, the intruders had almost made their way out of town, but Onicius was able to recognize his sister in the distance. The bastards were dragging here and some other boy along! He ran after them as fast as his feet allowed him, but his efforts were in vain.... To be continued.... in the next part: A merchant's knowledge Bonus shots: Thanks for checking out, C&C appreciated
  19. Before the war, life in the isle of Morkerna was simple. Everyone lived peacefully, and the town was reasonably safe. And I was innocent. I was a young girl with few worries. I was happy. Isolated as it is, I had hoped that the war wouldn't affect Morkerna much. Indeed, at first, it seemed as though life would go on as normal. But the war affects everyone, and avoiding it can only delay its effects. The impact was subtle at first: a few men gone to battle, an old knight killed. But as time went on, the war began to change Morkerna even more. The atmosphere became tense; nobody felt safe, and it seemed like a fight could break out any minute. People that I knew began to be killed. Life had changed. After a month, I realized that I needed to do something. One day, I saw children walking down a road pushing a catapult, preparing to fight. When I returned home that night, I found my parents dead, killed by supporters of the Desert King. That was when I realized that if I didn't get involved in the war, everyone would be changed for the worse. I joined the armies of Ulandus and went into battle. We went through many battles, large and small... Along the way, I met a wizard named Gremlon. I took up his offer of protection, and he saved my life during a failed siege. But all the same, I do not trust him; he is too unwilling to share information. It feels as though there is something he is hiding from me, and it worries me. The war, ultimately, has destroyed my life. In the past, I had hoped to be a simple townsperson, living in Morkerna without having to worry about war. Now, with my parents dead, I must fend for myself, while figuring out how to deal with Gremlon. ___ Enjoy! You can see more photos on the flickr albums: 1 2 3
  20. In the aftermath of the tragic Kaliphlin cival war, an embassy is setup in Mitgardia to promote trade between the two guilds for supplies valuable to the rebuilding efforts in Kaliphlin. Edit: I have no idea why the photos from flickr are no longer showing, the flickr album can be found here https://www.flickr.c...157654967291508 I will redo the deeplinked images when time allows.

    Lions Mane Tower

I built this 2 months ago and only just realised that I hadn't posted it. Not much of a backstory, I was just experimenting with the waterfall technique.
  22. LordDan

    Eyes in the Forest

Avalonia's vast and beautiful forests hold many secrets. Many ordinary citizens travel the well used paths through the forest on a daily basis, but few have any inkling that they are being watched over and protected. They occasionally hear rumors and catch a glimpse of the elusive rangers, but few have heard of a smaller branch of the rangers, the Woodland sentries. These mysterious fellows are few and far between, but they are experts of camouflage and are often posted nearby main roads and paths, to listen and watch for any signs of intrusion or danger, and if they spy an enemy or threat they can quickly and silently eliminate it before anyone even knew it was there... I got the idea for this build after seeing this build by Sir Gillian. The Woodland Sentry is from my CMF series C and C appreciated
  23. Lord Vladivus

    The Emissary: Part 2

The Shadowmere throneroom was lavish, with a red carpet rolled out from the foot of the obsidian steps leading to Vladivus' golden throne. Banners hung from the walls, indicating fealty sworn to Shadowmere, and defeated enemies. The honour of guarding the throneroom went to the Kazzar Blackcloaks, who owed the Lord of Shadowmere a life's debt. Fearsome warriors all, they cut an intimidating silhouette with their lances, and none moreso than Vorek Steeljaw, his long golden lance setting him apart as a Captain in the Kazzar Blackcloaks. Without so much as a glance at this, the Black Spire emissary strode purposefully up the centre, towards Vladivus, flanked by two of his zombie guards, his crown glinting in the orange torchlight. He bowed exaggeratedly. "Hail once again Vladivus", he said mockingly. "Would ye hear my terms?" "Aye", came the measured reply, "let us hear them." The King's words came swiftly, as though practised. "Ravaage would have you bend your knee to him and yield the Resistance leaders," he said gesturing at the balcony, where Angfauglir and Lord Mortis watched. "In return for undying fealty and the dissolution of the Shadowmere Guard, you shall be granted your mothers former lands in Avalonia, where you shall live your life in exile. Your generals must either bend to Ravaage, or be executed." As the last word left the emissary's lips, the doors to the throne room crashed open, and a shout echoed through. "Stop this madness!" At this, the King drew his dirk, and charged at Vladivus, the sceptre in his hand glowing green, seemingly granting him warding against the Kazzar, who moved to intercept him. As fast as the Kazzar were, and as quick as the King moved, the Falcons were faster. Lead by Sir Eothain the Insane, they charged from the doorway, covering the ground swifter than any would have expected, followed by Lady Sithanna, her lips curled in a snarl, and her Manbat Warriors. Eothain's sword clove the sceptre in twain, and the head of the emissary bounced from his shoulders, as his guards fell to the floor. The bodies were swiftly cleared away, and a hurried council of sorts commenced. "What is this? You would kill an emissary?" Vladivus anger was palpable. "Hear us out my Lord" soothed Sithanna. "Your pup damn near killed my men", spat Eothain "He turned on us on the road to Abyssian. Ravaage's troops ambushed us, nothing we couldn't handle. Then the wolves came. Clawbreakers, and others. Fenrir didn't hesitate. He called for us to follow him against the wolves. Who were we to argue? The wolves came again, from behind, and as we turned to take them, Fenrir turned on us. If it weren't for Sithanna's timely arrival, on account of her taking a roundabout route from Kaliphlin we'd have been dog toys. Your guard you sent with us are all dead I'm afraid m'lord." "This King was with Fenrir- baying for blood. He's no emissary, he is, well, he was, an assassin," said Sithanna. "Amset-ra sent one of his men with us as a sign of the new alliance, and he knew the emissary of old." "This is troubling news". Vladivus mused. "Eothain, I'm offering you the position of Shadowmere General- it seems deeds must speak louder than words." At this, he cast his gaze at Angfauglir, who still leant upon the balcony. He turned, "Vorek!" "Yes my Lord?" said the Kazzar. "Call the Captains. Sir Eothain, ready for war." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And the next installment! C+C welcome!
  24. Third Quarter Free Build Registration October 2nd 2014 to May 1st, 2015 (Book II, Quarter 3) What is this thread? This is the thread where YOU register your free build if you wish it to be scored for your guild. Why are you doing this to us? Despite Rogueang’s wonderful MOC index, the guilds project has become quite large. The core leaders feel that we need a self-indexing mechanism that will allow us to grade free builds more efficiently. This is what we have come up with. What do I need to do? Just simply write the following information In a NEW post: Name of Moc with link to the thread | Name of Builder | Guild you belong to IE: Obsidian Spike |ZCerberus | Nocturnus Do not write anything else. What counts as a “Free Build?” Great question! Any GOH build that was not entered in one of the official main challenges. All free builds must have their own thread, and there must be a link to that thread provided here. Do not comment on builds in this thread, please do that on the MOC’s own thread. Can I just post in my guild thread and leave it at that? Whereas you are welcome to do so, if the build does not make it into the index , it will not be scored. Can I put up an entry for another guild member's build? If that builder has disappeared and we are getting near the deadline, this would be allowed. Past registrations: Quarter 1 Quarter 2
  25. As Xersia (some random city that was apparently attacked by the DK) burns and falls to the Desert King forces some of the Ulandian officers and wealthy citizens try to escape by sea, leaving behind their allies in a mad rush to esape to the next square. Unfortunately for them the Desert King had been expecting this and ships were stationed outside of the harbor to hunt down the fleeing Ulandians. Also the water shifts from dark to light but its hard to see There is also kind of a street system in the city( light bley= roads) but Its only really visible in a birds eye view C and C appreciated EDIT: I guess this has to be moved so now it will be at M18, not O18
