  1. Extract from an enciphered report by Section 13's man in Mardier. ..."Lupine Bell" has been added. From our vessel of the same name. Understand the brokers strike it to mark a sale. - RE Pilots Association announcement: A few loyalists are angry about the Prio connection. Most pragmatists are strongly behind it. Syndicates eventually agreed to sponsor a winner's purse and send an observer along. - KPA is still considered the most reliable journal, despite difficulty getting hold of it in Mardieran ports. Eltina Courier is too irregular for most patrons. Curiously, one broker *does* read the WTCM. But then, he also enjoys cryptic crosswords and frequents Lady Domino's Palace of Punishment. - The following vessels have been insured for shipping out of Londa... For context: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd's_Coffee_House https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Lutine_(1779) This is a silly little joke, that I've wanted to make for a while. I even built the place in mainland Mardier, where it can't be of any use to me. And yet, I'm absurdly proud of myself. It genuinely looks legit.I hope you like it!
  2. I really love the 2019 Ninjago Legacy sets, but the Samurai Mech is sadly an exception. Not many details, little articulation and not much to look at. I bought the set anyway because i like the minifigures and i planned on beefing this thing up a little bit. Have a look at the new Samurai Mech with improved articulation and more details. Like the original, i got inspired by the iconic samurai armor. The skeleton of the mech made from the mech frame piece (introduced with the Nexo Knights Battle Suits) and Mixels balljoints as limbs. These are covered with various layers of bricks to make it look like a heavy armored samurai. Because of the somewhat bulky arms and legs, articulation is still a bit limited but the mech can be posed without problems and it´s well balanced. Japanese Castle

Hi there! Long time, no see. I've been inactive for a couple of years, not posting or anything. I haven't stopped building LEGO though, so I present to you my latest MOC! It's a Japanese castle, as you can see, inspired by a certain real life castle (can you guess which one?). Sorry for the shitty pictures. I don't really have the tools or know-how to take good pictures. I might try to take some better pictures eventually, but for now I just want to share my MOC with you guys. :) It's not completely finished since I want to expand it by adding more baseplates, but this section is done. You can remove a couple of the floors but it's kind of a hassle.
  4. Hi everyone! I'm a newcomer on youtube so I hope you will support my lego film with likes and comments :)
  5. ...or, How to build a dragon I know, terrible title pun, but i couldn´t resist. Well, for a while now i have the large rubbery head of an old Ninjago Ice Dragon in my parts collection and i´m planning to build a body for it.I would love to have some basic articulation to it while still being sturdy and not too fragile. It kinda started with the idea of a dragon that can also walk on it´s folded wings (pseudowyvern, like the big Dragons from GoT or like Hookfang from HttyD) but right now it´s more turning into a bird like dragon (walking on two legs and having two wings) Dragon-2 Dragon-3 For now i´m not completely happy with the legs.I would love to have them with 3 joints (ankle, knee and hips). Dragon-1 Dragon-4 Any advice would be much apprechiated. I uploaded the LDD file here: https://bricksafe.com/files/badchriss/Dragon.lxf
  6. I just realized there's a subforum for comics, how cool is that? I'd like to post this thing I'm making. To be continued!
  7. Hello everybody, I wanted to show off Bloktopus city here. This started off as a cyberpunk style city, but gradually turned more into a Ninjago themed complex, thanks to Lego releasing the very fitting Ninjago modulars. It is half MOC's and half Ninjago Movie sets. At this moment about 60% of what you see has been disassembled. I hope you like what you see. Have a nice day. :-)
  8. I can´t be the only one who looks at pictures of upcoming and new Lego sets and thinks about details that could have been better or changed....and then you start building your own. Well, this is basically what happened when i saw the new 2019 Ninjago Samurai Mech.A simple little build where most parts are slapped against a single 2x8 (or longer) plate as a backbone. A bit stiff and void of much details is that little mech, isn´t it? Well,i fired up LDD and tried making a version that´s similar in size but comes with a bit or articulation and details. Ninjago - Samurai X Mech-1 I used the versatile and easy to use Nexo Knights mech suit frame and build a small Samurai Mech around it.Notable parts of the original will be reused (including the decorated pieces). My version also has a bit more articulation, especially in the legs.Balljoint points are at the hip,the knee and the connection to the feet, and each foot can move the front half of the foot a bit and has some small adjustable rear "toes" Ninjago - Samurai X Mech What do you guys think of my version? Any advice or things you would change?
  9. Hi all. This is my first post in this subforum. I'd like to share my first Ninjago themed MOC that I made late last year with you, a raid on a shrine (and defending it!). Overview Ninjago Shrine Raid 1 by Magma X, on Flickr Close up (of bad guys in action!) Ninjago Shrine Raid 2 by Magma X, on Flickr Alternative view Ninjago Shrine Raid 3 by Magma X, on Flickr (Larger versions available on Flickr). I have no idea what the plots of Ninjago are - I just used some of the figs I had acquired to make a little scene based on a variety of Asian inspired influences (like Ninjago itself really). I hadn't bought any Ninjago sets until a few years ago (the Temple of Airjitsu seduced me), and since then I've bought a few more sets - there have been a number of great sets released lately and I quite like the dragons and buildings. This MOC started from an attempt to build a roof using the "cheese" slopes - getting the centre roof section done took the longest part of the build! The rest of it flowed from there and it was an opportunity to use some of the exotic leaf colours I had acquired to see what they looked like in a MOC. This was built for the "Ninjago" monthly build theme for our LUG. Thanks for looking.

    [MOC] Ninjago City Docks B-Model

Fancy a swim? Or some adrenaline action? Or maybe a luxurious rooftop party? Then wait no longer and come visit the newly opened Brickastle Water Park (with enough parts for the original Pig baloon too). Instructions available here. This corner modular features two sections - the Brickastle building and the nearby Water Park. In the park you can find an olympic sized pool complete with swimming lanes and starting blocks, as well as a trophy to compete for. There are 2 diving boards at varying heights and 3 sets of slides, each with a different adrenaline rating. We have a clear display for both the time and the temperature of the water (in Celsius) to keep you informed. While you're standing in line to get tickets, you can buy some snacks and drinks at the first booth. We offer an assortment of yummies, ranging from sea food to biscuits. The interior of the Brickastle building features the two booths, one for food and the other for tickets and storing any clothing and valuables (including a safe). You can also find two changing room booths near the entrance to ensure your privacy. The second floor contains the apartment of the Brickastle brand owner, complete with a bedroom and other assorted furniture. It also has a ladder leading to the roof, where the real fun awaits. If you're lucky enough to get invited to the rooftop party, you can enjoy the private pool, open bar and the highest diving board in all of Brickopolis.
  11. Hi, October is an awesome month for me with the introduction of bricktober minifigures promotion since 2017. To me, these exclusives are really nice to collect. Here is some recap of 2017 bricktober reviews by Eurobricks' marvellous golden reviewer @makoy. 5004938 - NINJAGO Minifigures 5004939 - TLBM Minifigures 5004941 - Classic Minifigures Okay, after reminiscing the past, let's look into 2018. Ninjago is the first bricktober released this year, followed by Harry Potter, Jurrasic World and Infinity War. Let's start. Overview Name: 5005257 - NINJAGO Minifigures Theme: Promotional \ Toys R Us (Bricktober) Year: 2018 Pieces: 25 pcs Minifigures: 4 Price: free with purchase of RM199 in Malaysia. Introduction Last year we thought that was the last bricktober but gladly they're not. Now we are pampered with more interesting minifigures with arm and leg printings. Even the fan is printed. Even me, a non-Ninjago fan, feels happy and excited about these minifigures. Box I love the words at the lower left corner. Limited Edition. Which means you won't find them elsewhere other than this box. I think they heard @makoy's suggestion last year about the minifigures being loosely placed in the box. Let's see why. There are some extension of the black mould plastic at the arm area to secure them in place. I didn't notice that at first but when I tried to take them out single handedly, I can't. Anybody reads these? Can't wait to get out of the box! Okay. Let's go to pose in front of the camera. Minifigures Harumi with the oni mask of hatred. Hmm, as a non-Ninjago fan, I've googled the name of this purple mask. I found out that this minifigure is actually a Princess and the story goes on. Minifigure wise, the print of the mask is truly amazing and two sides of the hair part (plume feather ponytail) can become details of some buildings for MOCers. She is holding two red katana, (I think they are NEW!), with an Armor Rock Shoulder Pads. Look at the printings at the side of the legs! I love them even though they are just a few crack lines there! The other minifigure that wearing this kind of mask are Ultra Violet (Oni Mask of Hatred) and Killow. To my surprise, under the mask is a biker's helmet instead of just one piece mask and I suppose the person under the mask and helmet is Princess Harumi with grey head and white band around the eyes. This minifig had the most accessories in this box. As of the prints, she is printed all over. The grey makes her looks like a statue with expressions. I suppose it's her transformation after she wears the oni mask of hatred? Overall, I really love the detailed prints on her torso, arms and legs. Ugly has a new definition now. Future Jay. So Jay the Blue ninja has grown up and become 'Jackie Chan' in the future and come to the present and for what purpose? Hmm, let's don't go to that. He has arm and side leg prints, and he seems to lose his left eye. No alternate face and a blue ninja robe. Hey Gandalf, he took your staff. 6L Bar with stop ring. Mohawk. He looks scary, with a black spiky hair, and a silver coloured baseball bat. One skull face, no alternate expressions and a highly detailed torso and jean print. The tatoos at the right arm looks amazing too! Yes. 2018 bricktober is better than 2017. So much better. Nya. The best minifigure so far for a Geisha looking girl. The prints are totally marvellous and the fan is very uniquely printed. I like the smirk as the alternate facial expression here on a kabuki-face printing. It's not about you. Conclusion As a non-ninjago fan, I truly don't appreciate this set as Ninjago characters but I still love them with so many detailed prints. This is totally worth for money as the minifigures are exclusive and can be used in so many ways. Review summary Playability: 6/10 - Play feature? I didn't see any at the box art. But you can make a minifigure sit, stand or run, so I give it a six. Design: 10/10 - Yes FULL marks for the design! Minifigures: 9/10 - Future Jay is quite simple, and Harumi is scary. Hence the one point deduction. Price / Value for money: 10/10 - Who doesn't love a free set? (I paid RM199 for the other set to get this free, but it's still worth it!) Overall: 8.5/10 - This is a very good set and I think Ninjago fan would love it. Even I liked it very much. I hope you enjoy reading my simple review and do express your comments below. Harry Potter is next. Stay tuned.

  13. This is basically the counterpart to Mister E´s Car, of which both are inspired by "70639: Street Race of Snake Jaguar". The Ice Ninja with the titanium Heart gets a hot rodded, mean looking van that was once used to carry big blocks of ice or ice cubes (the predessor of modern freezer trucks) The van contains many notable parts and design cues from Zane´s old motorbike like the azure blue intakes on the sides, the huge wheels in the back and the falcon shaped mascot above the windscreen. IMG_20180701_121444 IMG_20180701_121506 IMG_20180701_121512 IMG_20180701_121524 IMG_20180701_121537 IMG_20180701_121549 The rear compartment has enough room to store a whole arsenal of ninja weapons. The weapons are mounted on a slide out plate and can be attached to the rear for easy access for Zane and the other ninjas, just in case Ninjago needs some saving and crime fighting. 14. IMG_20180701_120744_1 I got the Idea for this MOC from bying the set "70639: Street Race of Snake Jaguar". I bet i´m not the only one who thinks that most sets that contain buildable bikes have the bikes way too large. Also,i´m more of a car guy and so turned the mean rides from this set into even meaner rides....on 4 wheels!!! Mister E´s muscle car features the same colorscheme as his old bike and the gang, while sporting a spiked bumper, exposed engine and a pair of shakotan exhaust pipes. Behind the drivers seat, there´s enough room for two swords,a place to store one of the oni-masks and a red flag shows exactly for what gang his (mechanical) heart beats. I hope you guys like this MOC, comments are always welcome. IMG_20180701_120757 IMG_20180701_120803 IMG_20180701_120814 IMG_20180701_120836 IMG_20180701_120913 IMG_20180701_120921
  15. Hey all! Was struck by inspiration over the past few days and decided to attempt my first non-construction MOC: a TV show scale Monastery from the Pilot and Season 1 (and apparently next year’s special as it’s been rebuilt). The trickiest part was getting angles right - I took a few creative liberties with the show version as I couldn’t really get the back most building to the right length to scale with the other walls, and I’m only just now noticing there’s a super tall spire with a hook that’s present in the show that I’ll have to add in later. The “dojo” aspect of it is a tad rushed - I originally had plans to make the training parts rise up from the ground and build a hefty part of the mountain, but given time constraints (I started this two days ago and go out of town tomorrow) I just threw them together really quickly. Let me know what you think! Since this is my first MOC using system parts, go easy on me :) The one thing I wish I had more time on was the interior; besides a simple bed for Sensei Wu and a container for the Sacred Flute, I didn’t have time to include some other memorable locations like the video game console or Kai’s mirror/bathroom.
  16. I`m kinda hooked on the Ninjago theme because of the many great and good looking buildings lately. As the Airjitsu Temple, City, City Docks, Temple of resurrection and not to mention the smaller City Chase vehicle. I went totally bananas with the latest one with 23 copies . Anyway, is there any rumors regarding a City/Docks set for 2019?
  17. With the Ninjago City Dockyards expantion coming out in a few months, I figured, I would like to see what everyone else would like as the next Expansion to Ninjago City, I'll start: #1 Borg Tower #2 SoG HQ and Dareth's Bar #3 The Royal Castle #4 Ronin's Pawn shop and Sky tram station #5 Skylar's Noodle Shop

    Youkai in Ninjago

So yeah...i began to ask myself...could there be youkais in Ninjago? Im not talking about that ghost ninja. Im talking about the Youkai race. I mean what if we get to see Youkais in Ninjago? We aleady have the Onis and stuff. Also, what youkai would you like to see in the world of Ninjago? (I wanna see how the pull off the Kitsune)
  19. I have this little Takaway Diner now for quite some Time serving Food to passing by Minifigs but somehow forgot to make Pictures of it.So finally here it is,my Ninjago City - Noodle Imbiss. It´s a small Corner Building with quite a fancy decorative Roof and a huge Noodle Bowl Sign with Chopsticks.Despite being a very small Imbiss,it´s always very crowded and everyone enjoys the Food. Sure,it would also fit in the Lego Town Thread, but the Architecture and Visuals of the Ninjago Series and Movie was the Reason i started this little Creation One Day i found a pair of dark blue Shell Pieces and that quarter circle Roof Tile and came to the Impression that those might look nice combined with a small Corner Building. IMG_20180406_145222 IMG_20180406_145222 IMG_20180406_145245 IMG_20180406_145456 The Building houses a tiny crammed Kitchen where a busy Cook whirls around the Food and serves it to the hungry Customers. IMG_20180405_204545 IMG_20180405_204519 IMG_20180405_204449 IMG_20180405_204436 I think the final Result turned out fine, what do you Guys think?
  20. Hey y'all! Here's a recent build of mine, inspired (pretty obviously!) by New Ninjago City and the recent biker gang season. I kind of went out of my comfort zone with this - at any rate, it was a completely new theme for me! And unedited pic for those interested: And a closeup, And figless shot: This was my first build for the ongoing ABS Season 2 Finale using the Silver Goblet of Destiny - for those interested, you can find my second one on EB here. Credit to these two bikes especially for inspiration and some techniques, and all credit goes to Kai NRG/Geneva for the awesome edits! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  21. Some of you may remember that last fall there was some sort of dicussion concerning a blade piece, which at the time was going to debut in a 2018 Ninjago set. While it clearly looked like a piece designed with constraction in mind, it made its first appearance in a System set. Some of us, me included, thought it could be a hint that something was about to happen in the constraction departement. As we all know, it wasn't the case, but simply because we were looking in the wrong direction: it wasn't a hint about constraction's near future, but about its near past. Infact, once I got my hands on the piece thanks to Bricklink, I immediately noticed a tiny detail... (sorry for potato quality) As you can somewhat see, the piece was trademarked in 2016, and yet we get to see it only in 2018. But why? Because it was a piece designed for BIONICLE G2's third year. Since development of new sets usually happens at least 12 months before they hit stores, it's highly possibile that in late 2015 designers were already working on 2017 sets, and this blade piece was on of those that was fully designed before the decision to axe the line was made. Since it already was in their pool of "trademarked pieces", why not using it? And there we are. Sure, this is not a 100% foolproof theory, but because of the year printed on the blade and the fact we first saw it only in 2018, I don't think there are many other alternatives. Chances are that we might see more "unreleased pieces" in the near future, since it's safe to assume a huge chunk of G2's third year was already designed when the reboot was canned.
  22. Hi all, If anyone knows, could they please clarify with me about the symbolism of the printed circular crest? And could someone please translate the words on Kai's robe? Thanks to all who contributed. Venefic

  24. hey, been a while since i've built anything major, but i've finally figured out what i'm going to do for my next moc series. i'd like to build upgraded, full-scale versions of the crazy vehicles from the ninjago movie, as the released sets each seem to be roughly half the size of the movie versions. unfortunately i'm running into an issue in finding reference images of them. the concept art book has some good stuff in it, but stuff like cole's mech in the book isn't the final one (it has a brick built wheel) and the garma-mecha-man isn't represented in its brick form like, at all. any google searching i have done has nearly entirely lead me to pictures of the toy versions, not the movie versions. i'm looking for any screenshots, current mocs or in progress shots, or production shots that are available for these, or any tips you guys could give me on doing them. i'm starting off with the ice tank, so shots of that are the most helpful for now
  25. Hello, you might be asking yourself "what's a Star Wars Regulator doing a review of a Ninjago set for?" Well, I'll tell you. I've been a fan of Ninjago since season 2. When Ninjago first came out I thought, "what do I need a bright blue ninja for? Hiding behind bright blue curtains?" But as more sets came out and I started to watch the tv series, it began to grow on me. I'm still catching up on the episodes and haven't quite gotten to the Sons of Garmadon arc yet. So I can't tell you how they've handled the alternate Ninjago universe that is the Lego Ninjago Movie. But that also mean this review will be spoiler free, apart from some of the obvious spoilers that you can't avoid simply by looking at the box art. When the newest Ninjago line was released, the set that stood out to me the most was this one, Temple of Resurrection. Even if you aren't a fan of the Ninjago license, most of the sets are great parts packs and this one is no exception. So without further ado, here is my review. 70643 Temple of Resurrection Hopefully you can tell from the picture how thick this box is. I didn't get a tape measure out, but it seems to be about 50% thicker than your average $30-$60 set. And there doesn't seem to be an obvious reason for this. There are no large base plates or pre-fab pieces to accommodate. And the bags and instructions could have fit in a smaller box, or even a thinner one that was a little larger in surface area. Maybe Lego just wanted it to take more shelf depth. The back of the box illustrates all the play features. But it also shows off one of the main reasons I wanted this set. Each Ninjago line (as all "Adventure" themed Lego lines tend to) has a set of pieces/objects to collect. Most of the time you have to buy multiple sets to complete your collection. But recently Lego has been putting all the collectibles into one of the highest priced sets. For example, the Hands of Time sets allowed you to collect 4 Time Blades by buying 4 different sets. Or you just just buy the 2nd most expensive set and get all 4 that way. For Sons of Garmadon, you could buy 3 different sets to get all 3 Oni Masks, or you can just buy Temple of Resurrection to get all 3. Now, its time for a confession. The main reason I wanted all 3 Oni masks is because I'm a big Jackie Chan Adventures fan. One of the seasons dealt with Oni masks and seeing them re-created in Lego forum makes me geek out! Opening the box you can see that there are 6 bags and a sealed set of instructions/stickers. It's always nice to see the instructions and stickers protected and I wish Lego would do that in more sets, not just the large ones. My first reaction when I laid out the contents was "NO! The large windows are stickers not prints!" I have a love hate relationship with stickers, but it's mostly hate. If the piece I want to use in generic MOCs is stickered then I can just leave the sticker off to allow for more versatility. But if it's a piece I want to use for its intended purpose, like a decorative Asian wall panel, then I want it printed! I'll point this piece out again when we get to it in the building process. Sorry for the poor quality on this picture. I didn't go back and check my pictures before moving on to each building step, so I missed that this one didn't turn out well. It shows what things look like after Bag #1, as well as all the extra pieces. There are some unique pieces in Bag #1. We get some of the new flower molds with 5 petals, the white modified stud with shaft, and 2 printed pieces. The compass looking piece gets hidden in one of the boxes on the ground floor of the temple. I'm not sure what it's significance is, but a quick Bricklink search shows it's originally a Minecraft piece. That helps explain why it looks pixelated. Bag #2 finishes the extensions to the ground level. My guess is the red path is supposed to look like a tongue. You also get a bunch of spare parts, most of them extremely useful. You get an extra Mr. T. mohawk in red, one of each bandana style in black, a red katana (a new color for this piece), and a spare espresso lever. I find it odd that 1 set would have both styles of bandanas. The skeleton wears the new style introduced for the Ninjago line a few years back. And one of the Sons of Garmadon bad guys wears the Wild West version. Bag #3 builds the main floor of the 2nd story and achieves its stability with a lot of technic beams. The instructions have you build the entire floor before attaching it to the rest of the build. If you look at the base of the building that was built from bags 1 and 2, you can see that the connection points are on 4 different levels. The floor also had to fit around bricks already set along the edges. It was hard to line up and fit. And I assume that if I had trouble with it, the 8-14 year old this set was intended for will have even more. Something else interesting in Bag #3 was the varying shades of pearl gold. I know some colors are harder for Lego to keep consistent with every batch. But finding 2 different shades in the same bag seemed odd to me. I'd love to see the sorting process that brought this about. Was there really only 1 piece left from the previous batch that ended up in my set along with a bunch of the new batch? Or did one fall off a conveyor belt and a worker found it a week later, adding it to the batch of new ones? Who knows. Bag #3 ends very few extra pieces and now we are ready to build the 2nd floor and roof. Bag #4 has some great pieces in it. We get the oriental fence piece in pearl gold for the first time, the grooved dark red brick, some window and door pieces which are very useful for Asian style building, and an extra gold tassel. The gold tassel is in the Lego Ninjago Movie CMF, so it's not super rare any more. But it's nice to have more anyways. The lanterns are built using a Speed Champions' wheel in white which I thought was an ingenious use of that part. And Bag #4 wraps up with most of the walls being finished for the 2nd floor. There are also only 3 extra pieces in this bag. Bag #5 holds the pieces that almost made me cry when I first opened this set. Those two panels are stickers. Thankfully I was able to get them on straight enough to keep the perfectionist in me happy. But what if I had messed up? I seriously think Lego should start adding extra stickers sheets to all sets. Or at the very least, any set priced over $50. In this bag you also get some gold ingots which are used decoratively with the Oni masks and a dark pearl gray lightsaber handle. I'm not sure when Lego started doing this, but they now tell you at the beginning of a step whether you're going to need to build multiples of it or not. This saves a lot of time and frustration and I'm glad they started doing it! These revolving panels use one of the most interesting techniques in the set. By utilizing the anti-stud that is only in the middle of the window frame, the designer was able to offset two 1x2 plates. You later attached a small turntable to this spot which helps stabilize them as they turn. Bag #5 finishes off the structure of the 2nd floor and starts the roof. There are a few extra pieces shown at the bottom of the picture. Bag #6 has some great pieces! The black "L" tile has been around since 2016, but never in large quantities so every extra one is a nice addition to the collection. The red connector pin may not seem all that exciting, but this is the first year it's been produced in red. I was really hoping each Oni mask would have a matching colored helmet base. So I was very disappointed to see that all the helmet bases where black. You can't even see the black with the mask attached, but it means fewer cool helmet combos for other MOCs. With the finishing of Bag #6, the set is complete! There are some nice extra pieces like the dark bley horn and machete. Now to explore the play features! With a name like "Temple of Resurrection" it makes sense that the main play feature involves resurrecting Garmadon. You can see from the back that this is achieved with a lot of technic gears. By lifting the red arm, the gears move the roof. When it's lifted, the roof reverses direction and Garmadon is revealed. The side view shows that the build has a lot of openings. The bottom floor I understand as it allows you to position minifigures. But it would have been nice to get more windows with white panels to fill in the opening on the 2nd floor. This view is also the least flattering for the roof. It has to have gaps to be able to achieve the play feature, but this angle makes it look the most unsightly. Here's the temple with all the minifigures displayed. And in case you were wondering, minifigures can stay standing on the 2nd floor even when the roof transforms. The back shows that when the trap doors are activated the intruders are dropped into the armory. Probably not the best thought out plan. But it makes for a fun feature. And in case you were wondering, the Oni masks do not fit with the samurai helmet. Or course for many people the highlight will be the minifigures. As far as I can tell, the only minifigure you can find in another Sons of Garmadon set is Mr. E, the racer in black. Harumi, the female in green, and Hutchins, the man in green, and Garmadon are all exclusive to this set. Chopper Maroon, the man with the red mohawk, can be found in the S.O.G. Headquarters set with short legs and with the name of Nails. Cole seems to be exclusive, but he is very similar to the Ninjago movie version. Lloyd is listed as exclusive, but that's just because the other version excludes his katana holder. All minifigures have back printing. The baby does not have the new baby body mold. Instead it uses two pieces to achieve a swaddled look. I'd love to have another baby body mold, but this swaddled look works so well I can't complain. A couple more things to note about the minifigures. Harumi has some interesting printing on her lower legs. Does anyone know why those extra green belts are around her knees? Chopper Maroon has some detailed biker printing that gets covered by his bandana. And Garmadon, while looking very much like his Ninjago Movie version, is unique because of the purple "resurrection ooze." My overall thoughts? Go buy it! Or rather, find the best discount and then buy it. I got it 20% off at Target which seems to be the new normal price for this set. The minifigure selection is wonderful, the build process keeps you interested throughout, and even if you just want a parts pack, this set is a winner. So there you go. I hope you enjoyed the review as much as I enjoyed making it!
