    [MOC] The Portal Cliff

My latest MOC, The Portal Cliff. Hope you like it 😃
  2. (Moderators: I put this in Town, because at it's heart, this is a simple MOD of a Town set, and looks like a completely normal bus anyway. If it went to licensed, it would be out of place. Just a thought!) I tried using the upcoming Moving Truck (set 40586) girft with purchase to make the Magic School Bus from the TV show / books of the same name, as I loved them as a kid. Credit is also due to @R0Sch for his recreation of set 40586 for the inspiration to do this... without his clear rendered pictures, I would have never though of doing this. You can see his fantastic recreation in the discussion topic about the GWP. ...and now as Ms. Frizzle always says: "To the BUS!" I had to lessen the amount of windows by one row, and I removed the rear emergency exit door for simplicity. Speaking of doors, I wish LEGO had a smaller, doubled version of the size of door I currently am using. (like the new bigger 1x6x6 version that just came out, but for this 1x4x6 size frame) It just looks weird to have a regular door on a bus! The moving stop sign is an addition of mine, as it is unclear if it's on the actual bus from the cartoons / books. As a matter of fact, I can only think of a scant handful of times I've seen this side of the bus in the show! The titular vehicle from the original (and best!) "Magic School Bus" TV show, along with the original inspiring books as reference image. It's not a perfect match, but it's close enough for me. ...and before anyone asks: I can't possibly make Ms. Frizzle into a mini-figure to drive this bus: I could never do her unique sense of fashion justice! That's about all I have on this MOC. Aren't you glad you didn't stay home from school today? Any and all thoughts would be appreciated on this model!
  3. Greetings Muggles! As you may know, one of my all-time favorite themes is Harry Potter and this year marks the 20th anniversary of the theme! What I love about LEGO Harry Potter is all the many adventures you can create/recreate with Harry & friends, especially inside the iconic Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So to celebrate 20 years of magic as part of the LEGO Ideas contest, I built a Hogwarts castle in the shape of a big number 20 comprised of 20 vignettes of the most memorable scenes from across the series with several extra creatures and characters flying around it! From the back, it just looks like a big, oddly shaped castle. I put as much detail into every room as possible. In some cases, this is hard to see because of all the figs in the scenes, so here is a shot of the interior without the characters so that you can see all the background details better. In the middle between the two "numbers" is a plaque that reads "20 Years of LEGO Harry Potter" and a boat with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, featuring the appearance that they had back when the theme premiered all those years ago. It's a very nostalgic image for me. Let's take a closer look at all the vignettes in chronological order of the events. The Great Hall at the lower end of the 2 represents the Sorting Hat scene after Harry first arrived at Hogwarts. Wingardium Leviosa! Here we have the trio's first charms class where Hermione shows the others how to perform the levitation spell correctly to Harry's amazement and Ron's frustration. Meanwhile, Nearly-headless Nick phases through a bookcase nearby and Crookshanks chases Scabbers around. This is where Hermione gets attacked by a troll in the bathroom during Halloween where she went to cry after Ron's hurtful words, but is saved by the two boys. Next is Harry's first Christmas at Hogwarts where he gets his invisibility cloak when opening his presents in the Gryffindor common room. Ron watches on in delight while munching on some every flavor beans and chocolate frogs. Here is the trio's encounter with Fluffy on their way to prevent the Philosopher's Stone from getting stolen. Qhirrell's harp stands in the back where it was just playing until a moment ago. Harry makes it to the Mirror of Erised to confront Quirrell who reveals the dark lord hiding under his turban. One of the things flying around the castle is Mr. Weasley's flying Ford Anglia which Harry and Ron used to get to the school in their second year. The design of the car is mix of all the official designs that have been released over the years. It has the tail lights, hood and wheels of the latest version, but the headlights and grill of the first one with a few minor modifications. Another extra scene is part of a Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin where Harry snatches the snitch from in front of Draco Malfoy. The first Chamber of Secrets vignette shows Hermione brewing the plolyjuice potion in the girls bathroom, much to Moaning Myrtle's dismay. Having taken the potion and turned into Crabbe and Goyle, Harry and Ron go to the Slytherin common room to find out if it was Malfoy who opened the Chamber of Secrets. Here is the Chamber of Secrets itself where Harry tries to save Ginny from Tom Riddle and the basilisk using the sword of Gryffindor. "Master has given Dobby a sock! Dobby is free!" In Harry's third year, he starts taking divination class with Prof. Trelawney. Ron tries to make sense of his tea leaves while Trelawney comes over to read Harry's. A tarot card of the lightning-struck tower ominously lays on the table before him. He also takes Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Prof. Lupin this year. Here, Lupin shows Neville how to defeat a boggart by turning it into Snape wearing his grandmother's clothes. I also included a secret bonus scene hidden in the base of the castle. If you remove one of the rocks, you can see Harry walking down the secret passageway under the school leading to Hogsmeade using the Marauders Map. In Harry's fourth year, they get visitors from other schools for the Triwizard Tournament and have a yule ball. Harry is dancing with Parvati while Ron is jealously watching Hermione "fraternizing with the enemy". If you look above the castle, you can see Harry during his first Triwizard challenge where he has to steal an egg from a dragon. After the tournament ends in tragedy, Alastair Moody reveals his true self to Harry in the privacy of his office. In Harry's fifth year, Dolores Umbridge takes over the school and forces Harry to write "I must not tell lies" using a special, cruel quill during detention in her office. In response to the ministry's meddling, Harry forms Dumbledore's Army and teaches the other students defense against the dark arts, including how to produce a patronus. Here is Harry trying to brew a potion in potions class under the watchful eye of the self-proclaimed Half-Blood Prince himself, Prof. Snape. In Harry's sixth year, Dumbledore finally clues Harry in on his plans to defeat Lord Voldemort and shows him his memories of a young Tom Riddle. Harry attends Prof. Slughorn's Slug Club meetings along with Hermione, Neville, and Ginny in order to retrieve a crucial memory from the potions teacher. Finally, here we see Harry facing off against Voldemort for the last time in what would have been Harry's seventh year at Hogwarts. There are paintings of witches and wizards lining the walls of the staircase including Newt Scamander, Seraphina Picquery, and James & Lily Potter. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the stairs, Mrs. Weasley fights Bellatrix Lestrange. "Not my daughter, you brick!" Thanks for looking through this lengthy thread. What do you think and which scene is your favorite?
  4. Lego Halloween – Custom Minifigure Welcome, friends! My new Lego Custom Minifigure – Hallow, a Sealed Mystic from my Lego Custom Undead Universe. I would say it better suits for Lego Halloween Theme. Thanks to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego customs. Lego Halloween is certainly an interesting topic for lovers of tickling their nerves – inhabitants buried under gravestones, bats, ghosts and transparent cubes. And certainly an indispensable attribute of the holiday and traditional decoration is a pumpkin lamp. Let's say «thank you» to LEGO for such a beautiful pumpkin. I used it repeatedly in my Lego custom minifigures. The holiday is firmly associated with supernatural. Rituals, horror stories, legends about ancestors, children wearing role-playing costumes with pumpkin lamps, and certainly clubs and Halloween parties for adults)) Super Holiday! The roots of the holiday go back to the tradition of the ancient Celts of Ireland and Scotland which is interesting in itself. We need to say a separate «thank you» to Halloween for Halloween's attributes that make this Holiday so atmospheric! Have a look at my Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure. I hope you will like it! The Lego Halloween custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel – Here. I've already customized more than 300 lego minifigures from the Lego Dark Fantesy Direction and the skeletons of the Army of Darkness. If you like my works, feel free to subscribe to follow me! Harry Potter Chocolate Frog Tiles

Hey, I'm pretty new and have recently made a few purchases of the new Harry Potter sets. I got 10 of the new Chocolate Frog Tiles but unfortunately got doubles of Newt Scamander and Gold Dumbledore, I was just wondering what people are thinking of doing with their doubles; Keep them? MOCs? Sell them on another site like Brick Link? Nice to meet you all btw :)
  6. A place of knowledge and refuge, guarded by arcane power and a dragon. In the early stages of the war, it was the site of many councils between Avalonia commanders. It was here that the planning was carried out for the relief of Albion in the First Great War. The Citadel remained in the mages hands afterwards. Hope you like it. Thanks for watching. 7. Willow is a 1988 film with story and produced by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard. With Warwick Davis in the lead role. It will have a Disney TV series in 2022. 8. My new custom lego minifigure – Soul Taker. Soul Eater is found in cult games and pearls of modern fantasy worlds such as Diablo, Skyrim, Dragon Age, Warcraft, Lineage and many others. Lasting the uncountable millennia, calming down, again inflaming in the new worlds, eternal war of forces of Light and Darkness, Angels and Demons, the Order and Chaos leads to emergence of the opponents much surpassing ordinary soldiers on both parties. Certainly, one of such generations of forces of Darkness is Soul Taker. Ordinary people are not lucky to live in the middle of this war in a hearth of never-ending battle. In attempts to survive or for the sake of finding of power some of them sign the contract with Darkness forces and come over to the side of the Evil, having started practicing dark magic. In a fantasy Universe of Lego Custom Undead Soul Taker comes to the world of living by killing his reviver – the Dark Wizard. Having taken control of the book of Soul Eater and also several artifacts which the Dark Wizard collected during the wanderings and search, Soul Eater begins the way in the world of the living with one purpose – to make this world the dead. Clever, cunning and artful, Soul Eater mastered a way allowing to release the opponent's soul and then to absorb her. It is difficult to stop Soul Eater who aimed at the enemy. Having chosen the victim, he promptly starts the feast. With his spells he practically immobilizes the victim, causes it severe physical and intolerable emotional pain. And then, when the victim is weakened, he takes away her soul, fills up the magic force and comes back to catacombs to continue his magic rituals. The Soul Taker custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my small YouTube Channel.

  12. “Might as well get yer uniform,” said Hagrid, nodding towards Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions.” This MOC is of Madam Malkin’s Robes for all Occasions from the wizarding world of Harry Potter! Located in Diagon Alley, London, the robe shop kits out young witches and wizards with their Hogwarts school robes! Madam Malkin's 1 by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr The model is based off the recreation of Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions in Universal Studios Florida, with inspiration drawn from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone book. The purple bay window and large silver scissors above the doors give the shop its recognisable appearance in the alley. Light blueish grey masonry bricks have been used to create a “worn” texture, blended with lavender log bricks. Madam Malkin's 2 by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr Inside the shop, the ground floor offers a workspace for Madam Malkin, complete with sewing machine, stool and scissors to tailor each set of Hogwarts robes. A mannequin, donned in a pointed black witch’s hat, stands pride of place in the window display. Madam Malkin's 4 by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr On the upper level, there are a variety of different hats of offer; from a bright purple turban, to a graduation cap, to black bowler hat reminiscent of the Minister for Magic himself. 13. “The sweetshop’s rather good, and Zonko’s Joke Shop's frankly dangerous.” This MOC is of Zonko’s joke shop from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! The joke shop is located in the non-Muggle village of Hogsmeade, and, to Filch’s dismay, keeps Hogwarts students stocked with the most mischievous tricks Fred and George can get their hands on! Zonko's with Logo by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr The model is based off the recreation of Zonko’s joke shop in Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, with inspiration drawn from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban book and film. Snow covers the roof of the build to capture the small village’s wintry appearance and stickers above the large red windows recreate the playful shop signage. Zonko's 5 with Logo by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr Inside the joke shop, the recognisable red and black flooring has been recreated using various shapes of tiles. The red shelves and window displays are adorned with fireworks, Fanged Frizbees, and stacks of joke boxes. Zonko's 2 with Logo by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr The shop continues on the upper floor, with fake magic wands and more boxes displayed in the windows. 14. “Harry didn’t have to do his homework by flashlight anymore; now he could sit in the bright sunshine outside Florean Fortescue’s ice cream parlour, finishing his essays with the occasional help from Florean Fortescue himself.” This MOC is of Florean Fortescue’s ice cream parlour from the wizarding world of Harry Potter! Located in Diagon Alley, London, the parlour keeps witches and wizards satisfied with the coolest, most colourful ice creams and sundaes! Florean Fortescue's by Scarlet Patronus, on Flickr The model is based off the recreation of Florean Fortescue’s ice cream parlour in Universal Studios Florida, with inspiration drawn from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban book. Abomirex the Mechanical Terror

So, here's a MOC that's actually a few years old that I'd neglected to post because I wasn't super satisfied with the photos nor the build itself, but after stumbling across it again browsing through folders I think it has at least some merit, so I now present to you... The Abomirex (or A-rex if you prefer)! A mechanical monster created by one of the most diabolical minds in all the known world as a weapon of terror and conquest. Sporting massive razor-sharp claws, built-in weaponry, and tremendous mechanical strength, only the most skilled and nimble of heroes can hope to stop it. Initially conceptualized as far more overtly birdlike, with wings utilizing the clear orange sail pieces from that one Ninjago set, but I couldn't come up with a decent enough design and thus went in a more saurian direction because dinosaurs are neat. It can't see through walls, however, which could provide our hero with the upper hand. (also sort of inspired by the movie "9" and by extension the short film it was based on) Snout splits open to reveal a flamethrower. Hope your shield spell is up to snuff, or you'll be snuffed out. Get it? Fire jokes. One of its least immediately obvious weapons is its bladed claw tail, catching its opponents by surprise! But if caught, perhaps a lucky swing could bring our hero close enough to a weak point... The conspicuous power source on its back totally wasn't that weak point, why do you ask? At ease, or perhaps scanning the horizon. In profile. Torso construction detail. Full disclosure, I don't remember it being particularly sturdy, and in addition to looking somewhat jumbled overall, it's part of why I'd neglected to share it earlier. But the aesthetic still sort of works for a steampunk/dieselpunk/frankenstein mad sciencey sort of look. (also tangent time: I hate steampunk and think it's super overplayed, or at least the variation of it that everyone falls back on. what part of "british aristocracy in fancy dress with gears glued to it" is "punk", exactly?) Obligatory gag scene. Full gallery here!

  17. Hello Eurobricks again! May I introduce my new MOC set in the same gaslamp fantasy universe as Fean Walker, albeit in a different, preceding era. Behold the Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Brother and Sister! The Tower of Ernst and Isabella by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Somewhere in space, there is a far world where WW1 technology co-exists with fantasy creatures and magic. And it has been already sieged for centuries by demonic armies. The human kingdom of Katzenhausen is one of the mightiest powers that can fight them. Queen Isolda has not only well armed troops, but a superweapon against the Legions of Hell - Ernst and Isabella. Brother and Sister, the legendary demon hunters. Their powerful violet magic burns the demonic flesh, and the invisible Field gives the ability to read thoughts of each other and fight as one, Katzenhausen Castle is the majestic white-stone residence of the Queen. Few people know that one of its towers only at first glance does not differ from the other ones. After all, Isabella and Ernst live there, returning in between the fights to rest and think over the plan for upcoming battles. And no one can get inside without the permission of Sister and Brother - no demon, no human, no elf and no other creature. That's because the tower is bewitched - all of its rooms are actually located in a pocket dimension. This is made to secure Ernst and Isabella against the demons - and, possibly, against the humans of Katzenhausen who are suspicious against the violet mages... The tower reaches 75 cm in height and 18 cm in width: The Tower Size by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Its architecture is heavily based on one tower (second right, to be precise) of French Château de Chambord that was designed by great Leonardo da Vinci: Chambord is a magnificent example of Renaissance architecture combining classical and gothic elements. And I found it very fitting to represent Katzenhausen Castle, the residence of kings built near the Writers' Lake. The LEGO tower is a bit thinner and longer. It is built using the same pattern as in 4707 set (2001 Hagrid's Hut) - corner plates are placed together at the angle of 45 degrees. Isabella and Ernst near the Tower by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Here are some side views: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Side View 1 by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Side View 2 by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The round balcony stands atop three floors of the tower. The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Third Floor Balcony by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Isolda I Vuzurro, Queen of Katzenhausen, stands on the balcony of her castle: Queen Isolda on the balcony by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The chimneys of the tower look like they are separate towers on their own: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Roof with Chimneys by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The roof has two large, intricately detailed skylights: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Roof Windows by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The tall spire crowns the entire tower: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Spire by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr After the battles with demons, Brother and Sister like to spend time together - looking at serene water of Writers' Lake from the balcony, for example. Ernst and Isabella on the balcony by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Sometimes they meet Ernst's old friend, now-Queen Isolda Vuzurro. Queen Isolda, Ernst and Isabella on the balcony by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The interior of the tower contains the kitchen, the library, the bedroom and the attic. It is inaccesible for no one but Isabella and Ernst themselves and their guests because it is actually located in another dimension. But, as you can see, some demons found a way to infiltrate the tower... The Tower of Ernst and Isabella Interior by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The basement of the tower is narrow, and there are some treasures, a rat and (hopefully, demonic) bones... The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Basement by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The kitchen is on the first floor: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Kitchen (First Floor) by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The clock hangs on the wall of the kitchen. Magical gas lamps provide the light: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Kitchen Clock by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Ernst, Isabella and their friend Queen Isolda sometimes drink tea in the tower's kitchen: Isabella, Queen Isolda and Ernst in the kitchen by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The kitchen has a vintage, steampunk-looking stove with a pipe. The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Kitchen Stove by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Ernst and Isabella make different food with their stove: Isabella and Ernst are cooking in the stove by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr A mischievous imp stole chicken legs from Ernst and Isabella, but they quickly spotted the thief: Demon hunters chase a mischievous imp by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The library is located on the second floor: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Library (Second Floor) by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The bookshelves contain lots of literature about demons and anti-demon magic. The famous PANDAEMONIUM, where various species of demons are described, is located there. The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Library Bookshelves by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Isabella is reading a book about demons while Ernst is writing about their last fight against armies of Hell. Isabella and Ernst in the library by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The third floor stores the bedroom of Ernst and Isabella: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Bedroom (Third Floor) by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The bedroom has a wardrobe, a bed and a staff holder: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Bedroom by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The bed is enormous and comfortable, and demon hunters sleep there together. No Lannister-type subtext here - Ernst and Isabella cannot have children because of their not-so-really-human nature, but like to be together due to their magical bond with the Field: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Bed by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Good night, demon hunters! Isabella and Ernst peacefully sleeping by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr This holder bears two magical staves with amethyst crystals that amplify the power of Isabella and Ernst: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Staff Holder by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Brother and Sister prepare for their mission. Ernst and Isabella take their magic staves by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The chandelier lights the bedroom: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Chandelier by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The tower has a tall and massive attic: The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Attic by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr The roof inside is inhabited by spiders and bats. No one knows how they got into the pocket dimension of the tower! The tower's attic is full of magical artifacts and things that were important in Brother and Sister's lives before they manifested their powers. The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Attic by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr There is a fireplace in the attic (and a stuffed baby dragon too): The Tower of Ernst and Isabella, Attic Fireplace by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Demons invade the attic. Probably, they appeared through a portal in some book... Demons invade the attic by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Ultimately, Ernst and Isabella learned about the inursion and stopped the hellish invaders: Demon hunters fight the demons by Farseer Eldar, on Flickr Thank you for watching and reading! I hope you like this MOC and its concepts and lore. I would also like to hear some feedback and criticism to find out strong and weak sides of my works. More photos can be seen in my Flickr album!
  18. "Defying Gravity" is the most famous scene and song from the sixth longest running Broadway musical of all time - "Wicked". The musical retells the story of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" from the viewpoint of two friends, Glinda and Elphaba, which will be known as the Wicked Witch of the West despite the fact that she did nothing wicked at all. The musical looks like a comedy in some scenes and most of the time the story and mood is optimistic, but if you start digging deeper, you realise that in fact it is a really tragic story for all the characters, with a lot of meaning, so there are definitely a lot to think about. ;) Elphaba is considered strange and hated by the other Ozians only because her skin is green color. So when madame Morrible tells her that she has a strong talent in magic and promised to write to the Wizard about it, Elphaba starts to dream about how she will be accepted by the Ozians after she proves her worth to Wizard. Alas, when she and her friend Glinda finally meets the Wizard, they discover that he and madame Morrible are the puppeters behind the oppression of the Animals (intelligent creatures who able to speak), and the Wizard was going to use Elphaba for his own purposes, because he has, as we remember from the film, no real magic powers. Elphaba, who was aware of the anti-Animal conspiracy and was going to ask him for help believing that the Wizard surely will do something to stop it, is angry, so she rejects the opportunity to be in Wizard's team and desides to go on her own and fight this problem by herself. Glinda tries to calm her down, and so begins the most memorable scene in all musical, in which Elphaba defy the things that all Ozians believe in, defy all the people that have always repressed her... and defy gravity. The song by Idina Menzel (Elsa from "Frozen") and Kristin Chenoweth in a spoiler below. This photostory is a re-creation of a scene from the musical, which is longer than the album recording due to the dialogs not included in it, so all the words that are included in the soundtrack are written with green italics, the remaining words are written with italics, the words of the song are additionally highlighted with bold, and the words that are included in the song from the album, but not in the script (so it is missing during a live performance) is striken. Descriptions of actions taken directly from the script of musical. The photos are not as good as they should have been, because I was going to make only one, but then I decided to shoot the whole scene, and while I was shooting, it was rapidly getting dark, and I had to move this tower to the windowsill and use a small LED light bulb, so it's amazing that I was able to even take a picture of something in such darkness. :) Leaving creative chaos mess in the room for a whole week to shoot scene at another day - alas, not my option, cause I have not so much time now... So let's start! Be sure to turn on the music from the spoiler! :) If you turn it on synchronously with reading, then you can just scroll the page to green text and read only it. [GLINDA] Elphie, stop! Wait -- where are you going? Elphie!! A DOOR IN THE FLOOR swings open, and Elphaba, followed closely by Glinda, clambers up into... ACT ONE, Scene 14: THE UPPERMOST TURRET OF THE WIZARD’S PALACE. It is a tiny barren room, a kind of supply closet containing a few old rags and an old broom in a corner. There is one large window, overlooking the rooftops of the Emerald City. [ELPHABA] There are no more stairs (looking around desperately) This must be the attic— [GLINDA] Elphaba, listen to me -- [ELPHABA] The guards are coming up. We’ll have to barricade the door! [GLINDA] What!? Elphaba looks around desperately for something to barricade the door with; she spots a broom, grabs it-- [ELPHABA] I’ll use this— Elphaba descends a couple of steps and wedges the door shut with the broom. As she comes back up... [GLINDA] Elphaba, why couldn’t you have stayed calm, for once! Instead of flying off the handle -- ! I hope you're happy I hope you're happy now I hope you're happy how You've hurt your cause forever I hope you think you're clever [ELPHABA] I hope you're happy I hope you're happy too I hope you're proud how you Would grovel in submission, to feed your own ambition [GLINDA and ELPHABA] So though I can't imagine how I hope you're happy right now... There is an enemy who must be found and captured. Believe nothing she says! She’s evil, responsible for the mutilation of these poor innocent monkeys! [GLINDA] Oh no-- [MADAME MORRIBLE] Her green skin is but an outward manifestorium of her twisted nature. This-- distortion, this-- repulsion, this-- Wicked Witch! [GLINDA] Don’t be afraid. [ELPHABA] (a discovery) I’m not. It’s the Wizard who should be afraid. Of me. [GLINDA] Elphie, listen to me. Just say you’re sorry. Before it’s too late… You can still be with the wizard What you've worked and waited for You can have all you ever wanted… [ELPHABA] I know -- But I don't want it – No -- I can't want it Anymore... Something has changed within me Something is not the same I'm through with playing by the rules Of someone else's game Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep It's time to trust my instincts Close my eyes and leap! It's time to try Defying gravity I think I'll try Defying gravity And you can't pull me down... [GLINDA] Can't I make you understand, You're having delusions of grandeur...? [ELPHABA] I'm through accepting limits 'Cause someone says they're so Some things I cannot change But till I try, I'll never know! Too long I've been afraid of Losing love I guess I've lost Well, if that's love It comes at much too high a cost! I'd sooner buy Defying gravity Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity And you can't pull me down... LOUD POUNDING FROM BELOW... [GUARD’S VOICES] Open this door--! In the name of His Supreme Ozness! Elphaba grabs the book of spells, pages through it furiously-- [GLINDA] What are you doing? Elphaba finds a page, immediately starts to CHANT FEVERISHLY UNDER HER BREATH- [GLINDA] Stop it! That’s what started all this in the first place, that hideous Levitation Spell! Elphaba ignores her, continues chanting... [GLINDA] STOP! Glinda covers her face, frightened to see the results of the chanting. Elphaba stops. Glinda uncovers her face. Then - [GLINDA] Well? Where are your wings? (beat) Maybe you’re not as powerful as you think you are. It floats towards Elphaba! [GLINDA] Sweet Oz! [ELPHABA] I told you, Glinda. Didn’t I tell you?! WE HEAR MORE POUNDING, and Guard’s VOICES... [GUARD’S VOICES] Bash it in! Fetch the battering ramikin! Elphaba grabs the broom. [ELPHABA] Quick! Get on! Glinda stares at her. Shocked. [GLINDA] What? [ELPHABA] Glinda, come with me. Think of what we could do... together. Unlimited Together we're unlimited Together we'll be the greatest team There's ever been Glinda -- Dreams the way we planned 'em [GLINDA] If we work in tandem… [GLINDA and ELPHABA] There's no fight we cannot win Just you and I Defying gravity With you and I Defying gravity [ELPHABA] They'll never bring us down... But Glinda hesitates. [ELPHABA] Well? Are you coming? Come with me. Think of what we could do... together. by R2 D2, on Flickr [GLINDA] Elphie, you’re trembling. (She wraps the blanket around Elphaba’s shoulders) Here... put this around you. by R2 D2, on Flickr [GLINDA] I hope you're happy now that you're choosing this… [ELPHABA] You too — I hope it brings you bliss [GLINDA and ELPHABA] I really hope you get it And you don't live to regret it I hope you're happy in the end I hope you're happy, my friend... I hope you're happy, my friend... by R2 D2, on Flickr Suddenly a furious BATTERING AT THE DOOR... and PALACE GUARDS BURST IN, musket-like rifles drawn, and pointed at both of them. Glinda SHRIEKS - [GUARD 1] There she is! There she is! by R2 D2, on Flickr [GUARD 2] Don’t let her get away! [GLINDA] Leave me alone, do you hear--?! Let go of me! [GLINDA] I hope you're happy! I hope you're happy! by R2 D2, on Flickr [CITIZENS OF OZ] Look at her, she's wicked! Get her! [ELPHABA] ...Bring me down! [CITIZENS OF OZ] No one mourns the wicked So we got to bring her… [ELPHABA] (a triumphant cry) Ahhhh! [CITIZENS OF OZ] Down! Look at her, she's wicked! by R2 D2, on Flickr END OF ACT ONE You can find this scene from the musical here, but there roles of Elphaba and Glinda are played by another singers, so their voices sound different from soundtrack, and also quality of sound is far from perfect. You can play video in another tab and read italicized text synchronously with it. Anyone who interested, please check out the story in Wikipedia (listening an album first doesn't help you, cause all dialog tracks between the songs and some spoken lines are not included in CD in order to avoid spoilers), and then read the annotations and user's comments under it (some users pointed out really interesting and important meanings in comments, so don't skip it) to all the songs on Genius (and there are you'll find links on YouTube as well). Or, if you're lucky enough to live somewhere near the theatres where are performances of "Wicked", go and watch it. It is definetely worth it. ;) Thanks for watching and any comments are very welcomed)

    [MOC] Hogwarts Castle

Hi Eurobricks! Here is the Hogwarts Castle I made for Russian Fan Forum of Lego Moscow Festival "Builders’ Battle 2018" which was held on April 1st 2018 (this is not a joke). In 2001, when I was a little kid, I dreamt of 4709 Hogwarts Castle but could not get it because I preferred other sets such as 7163 Republic Gunship. As such, seventeen years later I made a Hogwarts MOC looking like an ultimate exclusive set from an alternate reality and combining best elements from 2001-2007 and 2010 Harry Potter sets. To overcome my bricks' limits, I took the layout of the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando. Therefore, my MOC consists of Great Hall, Grand Tower and Astronomy Tower combined with the Viaduct entrance hall: The Dementors and Hedwig fly over the castle's towers: The interior of the castle: The feast in Great Hall is full of different and tasty food: You can see floating candles, banners of the Houses and a house point-calculating machine. The entrance hall antechamber can be separated from the Great Hall: Hogwarts heraldry at the entrance: A suit of armor protects the castle, ready to be animated by the wizards: The Grand Tower is the tallest structure of Hogwarts: It includes the library, the Gryffindor common room and the Gryffindor dormitory: Harry is sneaking in the library with the help of Lumos and Marauder's Map while Ginny is drinking tea in the common room: Neville and his Remembrall: The lower floors: The dungeons and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom which is currently used by McGonagall and Hermione for extra Transfiguration lessons: The dungeons contain the Slytherin common room and the Potions classroom: The second entrance hall, Dumbledore's office and the Divination classroom: The Astronomy Tower and the Owlery: - After all this time? - Always. During the Festival, Hogwarts was displayed on the City diorama alongside modular buildings, UFO and Ghostbusters' HQ: More photos can be seen in my Flickr album.
  20. I've got something interesting to share. This is a magic museum that has a 16 x 16 stud footprint. It was deliberately made smaller than a full modular-sized building but was designed to visually fit with other official modular buildings as well as the smaller creator series buildings such as the Corner Deli and Bike Shop & Cafe. It works as a corner building or a “set-in’ building, in-between two other modular buildings. The goal of this set is to blend two creative arts together for an enriching, entertaining and educational experience. Fans of LEGO brick-building will be introduced to the art of magic as they embark on a journey into the colourful world of conjuring & prestidigitation in the “History of Magic Museum”. The “History of Magic Museum” is a historically accurate magic-themed three-storey building that highlights some of the greatest illusions and magicians in the history of magic. It is highly detailed with numerous LEGO replicas of authentic magic & illusion props used by illusionists from the past to present day. There are more than half a dozen play features and removable brick-built illusion displays. This is a Lego Ideas Project, so if you like it, please vote for it: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/8457f73a-9844-4e51-8161-165a2e6a11ee You can watch the video preview here: History of Magic Museum Video

    [MDC]-The Wizards Tower

This was the idea that turned into my witches tower ideas project (which won't make the 100 mark but I can learn from my failure so its still good) I thought I would polish it and share it. I decided to make the witches tower and submit that to lego ideas instead( here ) as this one is a bit on the big side and I wanted to focus more on the landscaping. As with the witch's tower is is open on the back to show the interior which is out fitted with a lounge/dining room, sleeping chamber, lab and cell ,there is also a swamp out front. Thanks for looking. Can a mod change Wizards to Wizard's? please?
  22. Exetrius Saga Previous chapters: Episode 17: Grave Discovery Somewhere in the south of the Desert lands, sometime in between the Kaliphlinian Civil war and the recent Civil war of Nocturnus... Some fifty meters from the mana pool, there was a stack of three stone blocks. Upon closer investigation, there was nothing special to them. It did not seem to be part of a ruin, either. Stenran suggested it could be a benchmark, which made perfect sense, given how their guide warned them for the thick fog that may appear every once in a while. The four travelers headed in the direction of the stones. More benchmarks followed. They found a water well, the remains of a cultivated field and a collection of ruined houses, burnt pieces of wood and pottery shards that lay scattered around the place. Plunderings. They discovered something remarkable on the cemetery: aside from the variety of gravestones, twenty-two stacks of stones, consisting of three each, seemed to have been added last. Next to that last stack, the sand grinded a bit, as if there was a hard surface underneath. Sirius "There is something here, I can feel it." He unearthed a heavy tombstone. "I'm going to shatter it with an arcane shock, gentlemen, take cover!" The stone crumbled and revealed a stairway underneath. Sirius told the others to stay outside until the coast was clear. He descended. There was a short hallway that lead up to a single room. He cast a light spell and entered cautiously. He looked around. For a tomb of these proportions, the possessions to be taken to the hereafter looked rather modest. However, above the grave in the back, he saw something that gave him goosebumps. This tomb didn't belong to an ordinary person! Sirius "Could this be...?" While he came closer to the artifact he stepped on a tile and felt a slight shock. "Dang it!" Water gushed out of a barrel and engulfed his head. Scooping away the water with his hands didn't work. The tried to scream, but his words didn't leave the bubble. He wanted to go to the exit, but he could hardly see where he was. He was about to drown, in the desert, by flying water... this wizard had a sense of humour, darn him! Kestero (Samurai guard) "... Sirius, are you there? Sirius Centario!" In a flash, the samurai froze the jet of water and the water bubble with his enchanted katana. Sirius "Buhugh hugh! ... I am grateful for that, Kestero, I owe you." Kestero "It is my duty, Sir. Let it be a lesson." After that, Sirius disabled the trap spell and reached for what he had been after.. .. the lost water runes of Kaliphlin! Sirius "Father, I have not failed you! I will bring you water magic, for the glory of Zotharith! Let us head home!" To be continued.... in the next episode: Setting sail Hi guys! Third time's a charm: Sirius Centario, the mystery man, has been fully revealed! I hope you enjoyed the read and the scenes! C&C appreciated!
  23. Exetrius Saga Chapter 1-15: Episode 16: I found something! Somewhere in the southwest of the Desert lands, sometime in between the Kaliphlinian Civil war and the recent Civil war of Nocturnus... The village where they had arrived a few days ago was, fortunately, home to a navigator who was willing to guide the Zotharian travelers. In a day's time, he led them towards a region of the desert that was said to harbor ruins of mining activities. Being frank with his clients however, he admitted that he had never seen the ruins on a reliable map or in a trustworthy travel journal. Nevertheless, the navigator was of great help and the desert they found themselves in looked like it had the potential to hide something they were searching for. At the break of day, their guide returned to his village. Not long after they had resumed their exploration, Stenran spotted the remnants of a road, but it didn't seem to go beyond the foothill in front of him. He went ahead of the others to check. As he walked up the slope, a tiny structure emerged from behind the edge. On top, Stenran gazed into the shallow pit... Stenran "Master Sirius! I found something!" Sirius "It better not be another one of those so-called 'rare' cactus species of yours, because I've seen enough of those..." Stenran "What, Sir?" Sirius "Nevermind. I'm coming! What have you found, let me see?" Sirius "Ah, look at that! Not as big of a discovery as I had hoped, but this is quite impressive, Stenran. Judging by the surroundings, this mana pool must have been here for a long time." Stenran "Any chance that we could break out the crystal?" Sirius "Of course not, haven't you noticed how well-maintained this one is? There must be some mage around who is depending on it. Take a step back, I'm going to test if it is functional." To be continued.... in the next episode: Grave Discovery Hello guildies! Sorry that it took so long, I hope you like it! The build for the next episode is already done and photographed, so it won't take another few months. Comments & criticism appreciated!

    Witch's Tower!

Today I present to you the Witch's Tower It is home to a witch as one would guess. It is a model of 917 bricks ( but most of those are quite small ones) ans has a footprint of around 16 studs by 24 but the majority of that is the landscaped surrounds with the tower it self having a footprint of around 12 studs by 10 studs and the whole model reaches a height of 22 and a third bricks tall (a height of near 25 studs tall) This model is on Lego ideas (ha you probably saw that coming from a mile off) and could become a unique new castle set with your support. Whilst it is gear more to display over play it does still offer both and features a selection of removable furnishings to allow the tower to be used as you see fit. I feel that the project fills a need of medium sized castle sets (and goats) that the Lego company are currently lacking.Whilst my focus was on the exterior I was adamant to give the set a decent interior which is absent in most Lego sets in the medium range. This is my first Lego ideas project thanks for viewing. :) please share and support the project if you'd like to see it as an official Lego set. More images are available on flickr and the lego ideas page. Have a great day~AgentKallus of Hydra Sorry for most of the text turning into flickr links that was not my intent any way here is the link to the project. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/541647dd-e945-4887-8eed-f5e773a547d5
