Corvus Stronghold

Dark times were coming. Tolswick was being destroyed by the remaining members of The Hand of Corruption. Corvus Stronghold was their last defence. The MOC is on two 16x16 baseplates, which makes it my biggest MOC yet. This is the first baseplate, the pathway to the fortress. This is the stronghold itself. It's quite small, but so are most of my MOC's. The right side of the stronghold is in repair after the most recent attack. The stronghold is quite old, so vines are growing up the side. The small house bears the Avalonian dragon emblem. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.

Hudson: 15 meters. Hicks: Definitely inside the barricades. Hudson: 12 meters. 9 meters. 7. 6. Ripley: That can't be; that's inside the room. Hudson: 5 meters, man. 4. 5. UPDATE - September 15, 2013: The final version (with real photos) has replaced the first version in this post. There's another revamp of this model on Eurobricks, but I had no idea it existed before I decided to make my own version. 6. Hello there, fine fellows of the Star Wars forum. Having recently played Star Wars: KOTOR to death, especially loving Canderous and the Mandalorian aspects, I decided to finally get around to making something for the forum and the Warriors of Mandalore in one swift model. And here it is, Scorpiox' Mandalorian Assualt Vehicle. The design itself is based on no material other than my own imagination, a delve into my creative subconscious as it were. Certain aspects of the vehicle, such as the rear gun area and the overall aesthetic, took inspiration from the 2012 Mandalorian Battle Pack, however. The craft is manned by Mandalorians who the internet tells me are members of the Death Watch - something I know nothing about but sounds cool nonetheless. In the Star Wars universe, I imagine that this assualt vehicle would be used for infantry/equipment transport and as a fast attack weapons platform. But anyway, enough of my ramblings... I shall let the pictures speak from now-on: Close-up front view of the vehicle. Here you can see the plasma cannons and a heavy laser repeater built into the struction. A different angle of the front of the vehicle. On display here are the pilot's cockpit and control area. Behind him is a Mandalorian Death Watch trooper armed with a repeating blaster stood on the flat transport surface. A close-up view of the aforementioned rear-mounted chain-laser repeater. A high-angle view of the whole craft and its crew. Here you can better see the transport area. One final shot of the front, this time without the crew. In the foreground you can see an unused weapon-mounting, similar to the one that's currently holding the heavy laser repeater on the other side. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope that you enjoyed viewing my MOC, please feel free to leave whatever comments you wish to in this thread. Criticism and opinions would be greatly appreciated. For your added interest, here is a link to my Brickshelf folder, which contains a couple or extra shots of the vehicle by itself if you would like to see them. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to come here. EDIT: Added the link that I promised but forgot to deliver on.
7. I haven't gotten one of the Creator 3 in 1 houses yet, but I have been looking at the reviews and pictures posted here and trying to plan how to furnish it for minifig use. I have always been fascinated with the housing and making things more usable/realistic for the minifigs. Back in the days of blue and grey Space sets, I used to make stoves, seating and entertainment sets for the bases I built. I'm wondering what some of you who have the Creator series have done with furnishings in the limited (sometimes next to none I notice) space you get after the build. I have been looking through the forums but haven't seen anything yet. So what have you got? Or is this something you haven't thought of yet and now the juices are flowing, so what are you planning? I'm working on getting some bricks together in my collection to use for MOC esp. this particular kind of thing, so besides stealing chairs and desk from some of my City Advent Calendars once I get something put together I'll post some picks and update this post. Now I'm going to go look at the amount of stud X stud space some of these reviews have and plan my layout. But I would love to see some ideas from others!
8. I have found this clever creation (by aeh5040) on youtube: It is not new (video added in 2011) but I haven't seen it before. This is so unconventional MOC!

11. Hello eurobrickers, I have been working on a castle themed MOC with a setting in the far east rather than the usual England/Germany settings. It's a simple design and I still have much to learn. I've added in heaps of minifigures to accompany the architecture too. Bricks and minifigs were sourced all around the world from ebay/bricklink and costed in the thousands >.< Some non-lego bricks were used for the curved slopes on the roofs to mimic the eastern architecture better. Some slightly modified Orient Expedition sets are evident and also a ninjago set in the background to add to the setting. Hope you guys like it =) Pic1 Pic2 Pic3 Pic4 Pic5 Pic6 Pic7 Pic8 Pic9 Pic10 Pic11 Pic12 Pic13 Pic14 I got the idea from this classic Orient Expedition set and my Main MOC is loosely based on it. I will work on improving the designs but for now, need to save $$$ ^_^

13. Version 1.0 was made way back in April 2008. Version 2.0 came shortly afterward, in May 2008. Then, in July 2013, more than 5 years after the original revamp, I decided to rebuild my MOC. Click any image for a larger version. Here's the glaive in closed mode. After opening it by twisting the core knobs, it looks like this. I also improved the display stand for this model. The glaive slides over the angled beam in the middle and in between the angled beams on the sides. LXF file | Parts List (.xlsx format) | Brickshelf Gallery -Toa Of Justice
14. My parents own a summer house, close to the small town Katrineholm, Sweden. The house was, when they bought it 8 years ago, in very bad condition due to that it stood empty for several decads. However, today it is in better condition. Anyway - I just had to build this house in LEGO! To make the model fit in one of IKEA's vitrine products I tried to create it in a as small scale as possible (but still in a size which makes it possible to recreate the windows in a good way). I think what I'm most happy about with this creation is the choice to use studs on the roof - I think that creates a great contrast towards the smooth walls. You are able to find a reference picture of the real building at the end of this post. When the regular slope-parts (http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3040]3040) are attached to each other you don't achieve the 45 angle I was looking for. So instead I used a combination of http://www.bricklink...asp?P=3040]3040 and http://www.bricklink...p?P=92946]92946 Could this building be built in an even smaller scale? Sure... Comparison - which one do you like the most? (The big one consists of appr. 1400 parts, the small one 300). This is what the real house looks like: Hope you enjoy it!
15. Hi everyone! I bought a 10220 Volswagen Camper Van some time ago. It's really an iconic car so I decided to try to recreate it in ("approximately") minifig-scale. I had a really hard time to recreate the rounded colour shift in the front. However I'm pretty happy with the result. Everything's attached, no loose pieces! After finishing it I thought - why not try to create it in a mini-scale too? (Thin technic liftarms in the middle of the construction attachs studs on both directions) The complete VW Camper family! (Which one is the cutest? ) And after that... I decided to create a hippie version too! Flower Power! Hope you like it!

[MOC] LEGO 'Future' City: Copter

Hey all! This is a bit of a redesign from an earlier copter from last year... I always thought that it would be cool to have a LEGO City theme of the future. Nothing too far into the future... maybe just a "Near-Future" theme. This Copter here comes equipped with NOTAR Thanks for taking a look! And, as always, critques and suggestions are welcome. rongYIREN

24. Hi all, this is my entry for Castle Battle Contest Epic Siege category on Flickr: Attack at Sharael Castle. Sharael Castle is attacked by a group of barbarians from the uncertain origins and only an handfull of archers is prepared to repel the attack. --------- This second part is the first I build but it became a sort of prequel of the previous part which became a contest entry. Alexander Vandangant arrived at Sharael Castel a few days before the attack, in which he will partecipate. A sentinel observes Alexander running long the ditch. Alexander Vandangant runs along the ditch. A small depot/armory under the tower. Particular of the ditch. Yuo can found all photos at my Flickr channel. I hope all you enjoy my small work, C&C are always welcome and enjoy!
