  1. This is the sixth LEGO tank i've build. Technically it's very similar to my Mark 5-2 except that i included a turret-ring this time. I did that to give extra stability to the turret: in the previous build the turret was a little too unstable. I also tried to make the turret even smaller. I think this turret is about 30% smaller that the previous one. The hull is also quite a bit smaller. I believe this is about as small as it can be unless i manage to make the firing mechanism even more compact, which I seriously doubt. Finally, I tried to detail the model a little, and made it a little less blocky, although I still have to learn a lot about that.

    MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon

Today, I would like to present my MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon from the 80's Kenner Mini-Rigs line. The MLC-3 Mobile Laser Cannon was a self-propelled gun used as a light artillery weapon by the Rebel Alliance. The MLC-3 was armed with twin blaster cannons and moved on a compact tracked chassis. The use of wheeled bogies rather than repulsorlift units suggests that, like many Rebel units, this was a relatively low-tech vehicle, and it seems that the cockpit hatch was opened manually rather than hydraulically. While the MLC-3 was designed to operate with a single pilot, they could be programmed to run autonomously, firing at preset targets. If you read the description and look at the picture, you will see a little difference. Namely, 2 figures, instead of a single pilot. I didn't like the look of the model when I made it smaller with one pilot. I couldn't get the "scale" and angles right, to me, it looked off. There are some big differences between a Kenner Star Wars figure and a Lego Mini-Fig, in both size and proportions. On the Kenner model, the pilots' head stuck out of the dome on the top of the model while his legs went all the way to the front of the vehicle. So, after playing with the design a lot, I scraped the idea of a lone pilot and decided on a pilot and gunner. All in all, I'm happy with the way this model turned out. Maybe a little chunky! And yes, I did "cheat" a little, I ended up using the tracks from my SRV-1, http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=100747. Working with these is a pain! This model has 296 pieces, of which 70 are tread pieces, the .lxf file is in my Brickshelf folder. Tomorrow, the flying AT-ST head, INT-4! Thanks for looking, Jamie

In case you guys don't know, Thunderbirds was a 1960s era TV puppet show that later became a cartoon and then a live-action movie. This is the Mole, a drilling/rescue vehicle. Turning the back of the drill portion spins the drill. The drill itself can be rotated downwards. What do you guys think?

  9. well I have posted some of my Tank builds on Eurobricks and those builds have been my most recent ones so why not post my older builds here and continue to add more builds to this list. These tanks are from my "first year" of posting builds on EB, flickr, and mocpages. A39 Tortoise This is my first major build that required planning and my first time using bricklnk to obtain parts. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/371020 M4 Sherman Firefly My second build, it was complex for me (at the time) to design the HVSS suspension. The suspension is used by my american vehicles. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/371992 M8 75mm GMC another american vehicle with my first 2 speed transmission in it, it used 2 compacted versions of Sariel's heavy-duty 2 speed gear box. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/376549 E-100 With this build I got a new camera for recording video footage in HD. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/377995 Maus (instructions available) This was my first 1/35th scale build. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/378211 Elefant It featured a mechanism with adders to create a realistic idling effect when the tank is driving. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/381824 Churchill VII another vehicle with a transmission and my first vehicle where I focused on editing the main picture to look somewhat nicer. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/385930 Panther Ausf. [MOC] Vampyre Squadron

(Click the image to find this project on Lego Ideas) Well I finally got it approved, this is my Vampyre Squadron MOC It consists of five vessels, two fighters, a gunship, a tank, and a missile boat. I based the design on an earlier MOC that I came up with, an Imperial Ice Speeder, but as I know that Star Wars MOCs are very unlikely to succeed on Lego Ideas, I revamped (arf :D ) the design and eventually came up with these five. The Gunship The Strike Fighter The Naval Fighter The Missile Boat The Tank I did also make a sixth model, but as it's blatantly Star Wars based I had to exclude it from the final collection. It's a shame really as out of all the ships, it's by far my favourite. The Interceptor These ships are now listed on the Lego Ideas site, and any support would be greatly appreciated. Now, Lego didn't like me including this image, and I had to remove it before I could get my submission accepted, but I think it looks pretty cool, and I put a fair bit of work in to it :D. I know it's a bit cheeky posting this to try to gather some support, but as no-one that I know is in to Lego (just me) I don't really have any other means of spreading the word. Either way, opinions are welcome :).

  12. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675 "Your precious armory, gratefully accepted! We will need it." - Bane The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan gave us a fresh and realistic reboot of the Caped Crusader, and with it many of Batman's iconic vehicles. These are my renditions of the Tumblers in camouflage versions, reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can. The base design of these of course are similar to my Tumbler and Bat Pod project. Each Tumbler measures about 19cm(L) x 12cm(W) All three versions have been faithfully recreated: The original Camo Tumbler, the Tumbler with a Turret/Cannon and the Tumbler with a Missile Launcher. In this case, only the original Camo Tumbler can be a 2 seater as the other 2 versions both have a weapon occupying the space where the passenger seat will be. Both the Turret and the Missile Launcher can be retracted to an inactive position. The set can be launched as a single camouflage tumbler with additional parts for the other 2 alternate builds. The set can also include different variations of Bane's outfits as seen in the movie. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675
  13. Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004 "Yes Mr. Wayne, it now comes in white" Inspired by the Tumbler and LEGO set 76000, I set out to design a 2 seaters minifig scale Arctic Tumbler. Afterall, it only makes sense if Batman would change the color of his vehicle to blend better with the mission surroundings, since he has changed his outfit appropriately. Arctic Tumbler comes equipped with 2 twin runners blades, 2 fully functional treads & tracks, rear afterburner and 2 front flamethrowers! The base design of this tumbler is of course similar to my other tumbler projects. We can't have Batman without his trusty partner Robin, fashioned after the popular LEGO Batman 2 video game! I've changed the yellow on the insignia and utility belt to gray, so as to match Batman's outfit better. I've initially considered designing Batman's suit to resemble Nolan's Dark Knight version, but did not pursue the concept further as robin does not have a similar version to reference after, hence it wouldn't be coherent. Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004

The executions of the 2nd Chima

Sorry for my english Twenty-ninth year of the war of Ragnarök , after the victory in the Battle of Sirius B6 and death of the caudillo Gorfan Roftgut at the hands of the commissioner Lothbrok and 8th Mechanized Infantry Regiment of La Vera , when she finally believed that the war had completed, the master assassins of Gorfan Roftgut , nicknamed " the rat " , took refuge in the deep galleries of numerous karst formations on the planet offered . To get out the rats from their nests It was necessary heavy drilling machinery and the nearest was in a distant system. Meanwhile in Chima system where animals evolved to intelligent forms coexisted with humans in peace in a difficult balance after a war of liberation against their former oppressors and tyrannical rulers. The arrival of a self-proclaimed messiah prodded all the tribes of animals against humans, and a fierce persecution against them was initiated . The human empire decided to lift several armies to begin the reconquest of the system, and falls within the 2nd Army Chima was newly promoted to Division level , the, 8th Mechanized Infantry Division Commissioner Lothbrok , in which numerous regiments from La Vera system were included. The planet system main capital was Chimagrado, and after a fierce battle, house by house and building by building was taken . The scene appears here immortalized is given after making full of the capital (except isolated pockets of resistance) , in the main square , where they are, in the center, the Governor's Palace to the left the ruins of the cathedral and right what remains Administrorum building . In the center, the statue of victory, brought specially for the occasion and placed as the area was secured by the 96th Regiment of Engineers from Pucela , represents the victory of humanity over the different tribes of animals. Once victory was a fact, the newly appointed governor of the planet Sebastian de Eslava wanted to make an example of , and thought to use it in old ways as Decimatio , or Carniciquina , but the commissioner refused Lothbrok saying " back these practices we would do better than the animals that have beem defeated, the 8th of La Vera not tolerate that thier prisoners are treated as this, and tan this victory was from the 8th of Vera , we will be those who choose the punishment , when your excellence win anything by itself he can choose the best way he understand " And the punishment chosen was the execution of the main leaders . 22. For my next build I am planning to make a high-speed RC offroad tank with 4 buggy motors, similar in design to a Ripsaw. This will be my topic for any questions/discussion that may come up during the build. My recent BL orders have yet to come, so for now I only have one question. Are drive motors located at only one end of the vehicle? Or can they be placed at both 'axles'? It would seem simpler to have only the rear end driven, or would it be better to evenly distribute torque and avoid stress at one end?
  23. Can someone direct me to the best lego vehicle design such as humvees, helicopters, jets and tanks. Also any decals would be helpful because i am setting up a moc. So can someone please tell me the best way to do these mocs?
