Our super advanced laboratory has been founded somewhere between 1906 and last year. Since then, we’ve discovered a lot about plants and their use in medicine, food and... all sorts of purposes. All of them verified and approved by the most reliable agencies and governments. If you take the stairs to the first floor, you will find yourself in our laboratory area. Dr. Lukas Brenner is a three-time Nobel Prize winner botanist specialized in alternative uses for venomous substances. He was the first botanist in the world able to compress thousands of ounces of venom into small exploding shells, an experiment that can be used for... all kinds of purposes! Each of them, verified and approved by the most reliable agencies and governments. But remember not to take the stairs. That’s a forbidden area. Next to Dr. Brenner, you will see Dr. Mallorie Lynch, the head behind it all, the scholar-CEO-master of puppets-pyrotechnic-Rockstar-Pulitzer-winner for her countless contributions to the botanical field-tech-guru-war-strategist-trend-setter, expert in alternative uses for exploding paraphernalia analyzing one of Shinrai-Do’s venomous exploding shells. This one has already been verified and approved by the most reliable agencies and governments. On the main floor, if you turn east, you will see Mr. Q. He’s made a whole bunch of money from working in all sorts of industries: toys, fashion, education, military, beauty, restaurants... and now he finances all Shinrai-Do’s botanical researches! Isn’t that cool? And you guessed it. He’s personally verified and approved, too! On the lower floor, through the glass doors, you will find our testing area, where we test all our... plants! Right now, Mr. Treeger, a former hairstylist and now a full-time stuntman, is testing our very own venomous exploding shells. Isn’t it exciting? Oh, remember to put your masks on! Named for nearby Fort Legoredo, the town of Legoredo City was first settled in 1867 by the people following the Union Pacific railroad through the West on towards the Central Pacific to create the First Transcontinental Railroad. Usually these towns die off once the construction teams move on, but this town didn't because of one crucial fact: Valuable veins of silver were discovered by the Construction crews in a attempt to tunnel through the side of Raindance Ridge. This new wealth happened to be right up the tracks (about a mile or two) from the City. The town continues to have a booming industry in the 21st century, with tourists flocking to the Wild West town and more recently, the reopening of the silver mines because of advances in mining techniques. The railroad still stops at Legoredo City, with a Native American reservation and the preserved Army Fort nearby. US 1880's LEGOREDO MODULAR TRAIN DEPOT I originally got this basic model from a page on Bricksafe by user @sed6 as seen here. I revised the freight door to be movable, changed the roof color to dark red from black, building color to sand green from tan, plus I added a "cast iron" heating stove and it's chimney flue to the model for late-1800's period look. I have named the Fort Legoredo passenger depot after the famous set number 6761. (Fort Legoredo)  The model features the separate entry doors to the station premises for cargo and people on the both the street and track sides. There is also plenty of outside seating on both the left and right sides, yet they are still under the roof awning to be protected from rain. (three seats per side) Inside we have the freight area (on the left) and the passenger area (on the right) with a connecting door between the two. The passenger section also has the heating stove which currently is keeping the coffee hot. (or is it boiling the water for tea?) This part of the station also has three inside seats for weary passengers and a cash register for ticket dispensing. The station is modular, and comes apart in four sections: - Left platform end - Right platform end - Station roof - Station building 1870's LEGOREDO CITY This bank was partially inspired by set 10255 (Assembly Square). The rear of the bank also has a modified safe from set 10217. (Diagon Alley) along with two bank teller's windows and a desk. This barber shop was inspired by set 6765. (Gold City Junction). The barber shop features two chairs taken from set 10246, (Detective's Office) along with a sink and cash register. This general store is supposed to be modeled after the one in set 6765 (Gold City Junction), but with updated parts and expanded collection of items for sale. Inside, we have a cash register and a not-yet-finished interior. Hank Haystack from the LEGO Movie owns and operates this store. This saloon was inspired by the bank in set 79109. (Colby City Showdown) It features a typical saloon swing-open door, a cash register, and several spots to sit down and order a drink and is owned by Doc Brown from Back to the Future. (Hey, he can't drink it, doesn't mean he can't sell it!) Being on a corner, much of the building is left to the imagination as I wanted to avoid lift away floors to keep with the vintage 1990's Western feel. This sheriff's office was taken almost wholly from set 79109. (Colby city Showdown) The rooftop cannon has been removed, and a sticker-based sign from set 7954 (Woody's Roundup) has been placed up there instead. The floor of the building has also been redone, and most of the odd colored part removed. The rear of the building features the sheriff's office and his armory, plus the jail cell with it's exploding front wall. This blacksmith's store was heavily inspired by 2011 Ninjago set 2508. (Blacksmith Shop) I revised the colors scheme, removed the rotating rear wall, and added a holder for the sign. The roof still folds open like the original set. The post office was mostly taken from set 40305 (LEGO brand store), which has been reworked into a post office. There is a hanging sign out front in the shape of an envelope, and the sign on the top of the building clearly defines the building's purpose. (though the inside is empty at this point!) This spooky boneyard was made from sets 70420 (Graveyard Mystery), and set 75965 (The Rise of Voldemort) put together, end to end. I disabled the Voldemort "rising from the grave" function, although I did keep some caskets open-able as a feature because grave robbers were a thing back then! I also threw in a Doctor Who weeping angel to guard the place as it it seemed fitting (I am having this as a bit on a bit of a science-fiction / slight steampunk bent after all anyway, right?) US 1870's MILITARY TRAIN & 4-2-4 STEAM LOCO Let's start with the newest train: the 4-2-4 and the US Army train. This is a more realistic version of set 10254 (Winter Village holiday train) for all the train fans who don't like the engine. I added working pistons, and a more cohesive color scheme plus two more sets of wheels on the engine. This is a tank engine, and as such does not have a tender. The rotating Gatling gun you see here was taken from set 79111. (Constitution Train Chase) This horse car was originally a cattle car from set 60052, (2014 Cargo Train) but I've re-purposed it for my Army officer horses. These cannons are from set 79106 (Calvary Builder Set) and were placed on a generic flatcar. for transport by rail. This coach was inspired by set 10015 (Passenger Wagon), and features no interior. The jail car you see was originally from set 79111. (Constitution Train Chase) while gaining the styling of set 10015. (Passenger Wagon) This car has one play feature that is sure to blow you away: the back wall can be removed to get at the jail cell via the "dynamite" on the outside of the back wall. When pushed back towards the other end of the car, the rear wall pops out and the bad guys can escape! Here is the whole military train all put together. US 1870's PASSENGER TRAIN & 4-6-0 STEAM LOCO Next up, the modified passenger train which I have shown before on these forums, but has received a bit of a face-lift. This engine was originally modeled after set 7597 (Western Train Chase) with some design inspiration from the Disney train 4-4-0 (set 71044). The engine also features a piston set copied from my version of set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase) to keep it inline with the rest of my steam locomotives. The rear of the loco features a ladder to the tender-top, where the hatch to the water tank is found and also where the neatly stacked wood pile is located . These passenger cars were mostly inspired by set 10014 (Passenger wagon) but repainted red instead of green and with fancy part 30613 "Brick, Arch 3 x 6 x 5 Ornamented" on the end of the cars. I might be mistaken, but Ben Shuber may have been the one to inspire these coaches with his own red versions of set 10014. The end of my passenger train features this little four wheel caboose. It was designed after set 10015 (Caboose) with some features taken from set 7597 (Western Train Chase) The whole passenger train was inspired by sets 7597, 10014, 10015 and 71044. US 1870's FREIGHT TRAIN & 4-4-0 STEAM LOCO Since I turned the red 4-4-0 into a 4-6-0, the slot has been opened up for another "American"-type. Thus, I created Yellow 4-4-0 number 2, to go along with red 4-6-0 number 3 and green 4-2-4 number 1. As the red one before it, this engine was originally modeled after set 7597 (Western Train Chase) with some design inspiration from TF Twitch's "Humble Sapphire" 4-4-0. The engine also features a boiler copied from set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase) to keep it inline with the rest of my steam locomotives. This log car was also designed by my brother, and is quite ingenious for using set 60059 (Logging Truck) but on a train base. The logs are floating place, as they would be resting on the bottom of the car in real life. It was quite a pain to position them into place as seen here. The coal-filled gondola was inspired by a sub-model from set 10183, Hobby train. This vintage water tanker is a modified set 2126 (Train Cars) design with four wheels on the two bogies instead of two wheels stuck to the frame. I've had this model built since 2008, and finally used it for something other than a shelf-warmer. It was originally a gift from my father to go with my black-and-red class 7715 style train and is now at home on my Wild West layout. This caboose was inspired by set 10014 (Caboose) except this versions cupola (that's the roof top thing) is centered and is a bit bigger. Here is the whole train together. US 1870's MoW SNOWPLOW TRAIN & 2-6-0+0-6-2 STEAM LOCO This blue locomotive is marked (2-6-0+0-6-2 Garratt, for heavy duty rotary snow plow jobs) number 4. The Garratt-type steam engine is perfect for use on the mountainous terrain of Colorado Rocky Mountains, with it's double steam locomotive pistons sets. (Before anyone says anything about Garratt loco's not being ever sold into the North American market, I'll say it's an experimental prototype to help with a motive power shortage. It may have been seen by the owner as a economical way of sending one locomotive to do the job of two.) This engine was originally a SRW locomotive works product, (made by @SavaTheAggie and formerly available on Bricklink until LEGO sadly removed his models) I reworked the engine to have working pistons and side-rods plus a longer frame. This made it from 2-4-0+0-4-2 to a 2-6-0+0-6-2, among other smaller updates to the engine. Even with the added pistons, the engine can go around corners and switches quite easily. I did have to add two weight bricks to the center for the pistons to grip the rails sufficiently to move instead of scrapping along the track like they were before. The rear of the steam locomotive. This part in yellow goes on the cab walls (it's the number 4) This loco is also unique in that it has a forward coupler instead of a cowcatcher, in order to hook onto and propel the rotary plow. (in the real world, the plow would have no "engine" of it's own except for the blade!) This steam-operated rotary snowplow was inspired by the real-world Denver and Rio Grande's narrow gauge plow "OY", as now seen on the Cumbres and Toltec RR in New Mexico / Colorado. I've decided to name my plow "YO" in tribute to my inspiration, using this part from the original Toy Story sets on the model as the marker in four places. Oh, and yes, the front "blade" does spin around, but is not motorized. The rear of the plow features the coal tender with a ladder from the water tank-top down to the magnetic coupler. A simple caboose, for the protecting the rear of the snow plow train. I used a pair interesting windscreen parts for the cupola windows. Here is what the whole train together looks like. US 1870's WESTERN MILITARY - FORT LEGOREDO This is an updated and enlarged form of sets 6769 / 6762, (Fort Legoredo) with new parts and some modifications to the original set. These new parts include two cannons which oddly are missing in the original sets. I have heavily modified this model by adding Technic pins to hold the sections together, and by filling in the gaps in the wooden walls. The jail cell has also been enlarged and opened up for play-ability, plus a train platform had bee placed at the secondary gate for loading and unloading soldiers and equipment. The yellow flag is supposed to have this print: http://www.bricklink...35pb107#T=C&C=3 while the tan plates above the main gate are to have printed 1 x 1 tiles spelling out "Fort Legoredo". (which are sadly not in LDD) The back of the fort features the commander's office and jail cell below. I removed the originals set's trap door and enlarged the cell. The main gate has been greatly enlarged to allow for wagons to enter the fort. The secondary gate allows for rapid deployment of artillery and troops off of trains and into the fort. The commander's office is above the jail. I plan on adding a custom Confederate officer into the cell. Not much to say about this part... US 1870's WILD WEST MINI-FIGURES Commanded by General Buford Armstrong, the garrison at Fort Legoredo is ready for anything... or so they think! Just some local folks, including retired sheriff Woody, Jessie the cowgirl, the current sheriff (Rodger Walker, top row in black) two deputies (lower row), two ladies, and two citizens. Just some local folks, including a old miner 49er, a couple ladies, the honorable Mayor Peter Johnston (with white beard, lower row) and three citizens. The Blackheart gang is led by the genius gunslinger the "Man in Black" whose name is not known by anyone still living. Also he plays harmonica during raids, giving clues and help to gang members in code as he does not speak much. (lower, center) This gang features other criminals such as (top row from left to right:) "Sister" Sarah: she infiltrates the train at a previous station sometimes disguised as a Catholic nun. She then makes mental notes of where the valuables and safe are kept, and how many guards their are Tuco "the rat": This man puts ties on the tracks to stop the train, then blows the track behind it. He also can blow the safe door easily, no matter how thick the metal. He also knows most locks better than most locksmiths (just in case), and keeps a running table in his head of how much dynamite he has left to use. "Hot-Lead" Luke: He takes care of any guards (permanently) and relives the passengers of their watches, gold and and cash, with help from Sarah. "Smiley" Feared sociopath, and is said to kill the train men of each train they rob, though the bodies have never been found. he also makes sure no-one looks at the robbers as they leave or tries to be a hero. These hardened railroad men are as follows: Top: Tom Hardy; senior locomotive engineer and perpetually two weeks from retiring (or so he says) Joseph Barbara; station master of the Fort Legoredo depot, always punctual and runs through life like a well oiled machine Middle: E.S. Hawkins; division manager and a bit of a eccentric. Stops by the Legoredo station every now and then and demands a train be chartered to a fictional / impossible place (such as the ghost town of Grave Stone). He says he's serious, but in actuality he just likes to keep people guessing on his next sentence! Lower: Sidney Flattery, junior fireman of engine Number 3 and is very proud of keeping the girl running like clockwork. Alex; locomotive engineer of engine 3 and sometimes old No.1 when Tom Hardy is busy or unavailable. These Native Americans are of the tribe displaced by the US Army and the silver miners in the Raindance Ridge area back in the 1880s. They went onto reservations, which they then left under cover of darkness for their even older ancestral burial grounds: known only to their lone elder, the much revered Chief Big Bear. When they arrived, they found two people already there: Doctor Emmett Brown and his wife Clara, who had decided to take a 20th-century shortcut through an 19th century world and got lost. Chief Big Bear could somehow tell that Doc Brown was a man "from many sunrises from now" (aka the future), and offered to help him if he could help them. So, Doc drew up the plans for the time train, and, with the help from his inventions and the native americans, worked to keep the hidden valley a secret for ten years, all while getting parts for the engine from opening a saloon in the nearby town of Legoredo City. (He can't drink it, but he can sure sell it!) US 1870's MODULAR EADS TRAIN BRIDGE Here is my final design of the St. Louis bridge, commonly known as the Eads bridge because of it's designer, James B. Eads. It uses Indiana Jones roller-coaster ramps for the arches, which looks pretty cool. The bridge is nine tracks total in length and 19 bricks high from base to track. (this means about fourteen brick of clearance between arch top and floor, so some ships could pass through!) First, a little background info from Wikipedia (which is also where this picture came from): "The Eads Bridge is a combined road and railway bridge over the Mississippi River at St. Louis, connecting St. Louis and East St. Louis, Illinois. The bridge is named for its designer and builder, James B. Eads. When completed in 1874, the Eads Bridge was the longest arch bridge in the world, with an overall length of 6,442 feet (1,964 m). The ribbed steel arch spans were considered daring, as was the use of steel as a primary structural material: it was the first such use of true steel in a major bridge project. The Eads Bridge, which became an iconic image of the city of St. Louis, from the time of its erection until 1965 when the Gateway Arch was constructed, is still in use. The bridge crosses the St. Louis riverfront between Laclede's Landing, to the north, and the grounds of the Gateway Arch, to the south. Today the road deck has been restored, allowing vehicular and pedestrian traffic to cross the river. The St. Louis MetroLink light rail line has used the rail deck since 1993." This is a rough representation, as it is missing a lot, (I.E. no car deck, missing tunnel under downtown, and lack of the East St Louis ramp approach.) Here is the modular component, of which three of these big sections together via eight Technic pins (four per section) to make the whole bridge. The modular component of the bridge's design also makes it a LOT easier to carry as the whole bridge with the three sections weighs about 10 pounds total. US 1870's WESTERN STAGECOACH, TOWN CARTS, SNAKE-OIL SALESMAN VEHICLE, US ARMY CANNON CART + AMMUNITION WAGON "Come one, Come all! Gather 'round for a cure to end the all-too-common cold!" It may say "bait shop" on the side, but it really is a patent "medicine" store, where Anton Dewey Cheatum makes his own brand of lethal cures using rattlesnake venom, whiskey and his special addictive ingredient... one or two tastes, and you'll come back for more until you drop (dead). Usually this happens after he has fled town in his red wagon with the citizens hard-earned cash. This Express Stagecoach model was mostly taken from set 79108 (Stagecoach Escape) from the 2013 Lone Ranger theme. I removed some of the random colors to give it a more unified look, and replaced red with yellow as the main color for this stage while the rear baggage ejection feature still works as originally designed. Here we see inside the stage, with the roof removed and doors opened. The brown box on the roof is the safe hauling the silver miner's pay, disguised as a steamer trunk to fool bandits. These wagons are for my townsfolk and their businesses. The yellow crates hold various liquor bottles for the Saloon, and the other wagon is headed for the mine with TNT and a barrel full of Whiskey. This 1860's US Army covered ammunition wagon with cannon is inspired by set 6716 (covered wagon) from 1996's Western theme. The cannon can come detached from the wagon, and become ready for action very quickly. Revered among the west are the lawmen, the get-it-done type of folk, like Wyatt Earp, for example. This is the ride of not a single one of those type of men. The wagon you see here is the official Mayor's carriage of the town of Fort Legoredo. This wagon was used for the second though fifth mayors, with the first (the one who died before this wagon was delivered) being the only truly honest and good one in the bunch. He was pushed off of Boulder Cliff Canyon in 1872 by cattle ranchers for giving the Native Americans a fair share of the land they were owed in a treaty that was signed by all involved.... unfortunately, this mattered not to the ranchers. The next eight years and four mayors were full of lust, greed, bullets, and backstabbing. It wasn't until 1880 that a real era of economic boom and social change began in the Fort Legoredo area. (The snake oil delivery wagon, mayor's wagon and the two town wagons were designed by Baskerville bricks (seen at this Bricklink store here.) with some added flourishes by me.) WILD WESTERN STERN-WHEEL STEAMBOAT The captain of the Proud Mary is Thaddeus Sweeney, better known as "Old Man Sweet-tooth", for his habit of chewing saltwater taffy when the going gets tough and and giving candy out to the little children whenever he lands at small towns and native american villages such as Lone Tree, Nebraska, or Fort Legoredo, Colorado. He usually plies his brand-new-for-1872 stern-wheel steamboat up and down the Rapid River, with the Missouri River in Iowa at one end, and the the mighty cliff face of Showdown Canyon Springs at the other end in the middle of Colorado. Thaddeus is the only one he trusts to handle his ship, as he says the Rapid River is too treacherous for many newer pilots, as the wrecks that litter the shoreline prove. However, even Captain Sweeney admits from time to time that age is catching up to him, and he has been looking for a suitable first mate for the Proud Mary for some time. The name of the ship is the Proud Mary, after the Creedence Clearwater Revival song of the same name, as I figured it would be appropriate. The rear paddle moves around 360 degrees and simultaneously slides the gray piston parts in and out on both sides. WILD WESTERN RAILROAD TRUSS BRIDGE This through-truss bridge design was originally downloaded by me (I don't remember the name of the original designer who created the bridge) from the LEGO Factory / Design By ME page in 2010-ish and was never built in real life due to questions about it's strength. I came across it again while looking at my MOCpage account's older files and made it into the version seen above using newer parts and a longer frame quite a while ago. (and as to those original questions about it's strength: It's built like a safe, as I can pick it up with a single finger by the top..... just don't drop it, because the reddish brown parts won't survive the landing!) More recently, I revised the deck where the track goes to be able to take the RC track up and be able to put down 9V down more easily. (We run 9V trains at shows in Gateway LUG.) In short, the track is now more easily removable to become 9V, 12V, or even a road bridge. The bridge fits any of my trains, and should fit all official LEGO trains except for double stack containers such as sets 10219 (Maersk Train) and 10170 (TTX Intermodal Double-Stack Car). WILD WEST RAILROAD WATER TOWER This model was inspired by fellow builder @Pdaitabird and his water tower, as seen here on his Flickr page. I have re-purposed the model for my Wild Western town / railroad. The tower top rotates a full 360 degrees with the water pipe, allowing the engineer to pull up, get his loco full of (imaginary) water, shove the pipe away, and move on. US 1860's WESTERN SILVER MINE AT SKULL ROCK This Wild West model was originally LEGO set 79110 (Silver Mine Shootout) from the 2013 Lone Ranger theme. I added a more reinforced right wall and a real base-plate to support the model, as I know from experience it can be pretty flimsy if handed wrong. I also added the collapsing water tower from set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase) to the front corner as another action play feature. The model has also been heightened by five bricks to allow for regular train cars to pass through, but unfortunately it still isn't wide enough for custom locomotives with side-rods to fit through. (yet!) The natural rock formation (the skull) on top of the mine gives it it's name, and features a carved out section for two cannons to protect the mine, either from Native Americans wanting their sacred mountain back, or desperadoes looking to cash in on the (supposedly cursed) silver. You can see many more details on the mine can be seen in this topic. WILD WESTERN STEAM LOCOMOTIVE SHED (x2 TRACKS) This railway shed was inspired by @lightningtiger and his smaller shed as seen in one of his threads a long time ago (can't recall when I saw it!) He designed the basic Technic frame of this shed, and I ran with it to create this wooden western-style steam locomotive shed. It's gone through several revisions since first being uploaded to Flickr in early May 2018, and is now on the shortlist to be built in real life. As it can be used in multiple scenarios across time and space, I left the cow skull off this time. The rear of the shed, with the engine crew and maintenance personnel exit door. The shed is four and 1/4 tracks long, and can accommodate even the time train, though "normally" it's going to hold the engine marked 2 and 3. Engines 1 & 4 will go on tracks beside the shed. The BTTF time train is the exception to this rule, and will go on "a secluded siding, far from prying eyes". The roof of the shed is not easily removable (as it is seen here), but it can fold open a bit on clips. Also, those black circles are smoke vents for the steam locos. Just though I'd let you know! Hello, Here is my latest model, which is of a Light Infantry Tank known as the Vickers Mk. E or Vickers 6-Ton, originally designed as a private project by the British arms manufacturer, Vickers-Armstrongs back in 1928. The design was rejected by the British Army, however was bought and built under licence in great quantities by the Soviet Union, Finland, Poland, China, Bolivia and others. The vehicle was used as the basis for the famous Soviet T-26 and Polish 7TP tanks. The model I have built is the production Type B version. Whereas the Vickers Mk. E (A) had twin turrets with machine guns mounted in each one, the Vickers Mk. E (B) had a single two-man turret with a 3-pounder (47mm) short gun and a coaxial .303 Vickers Gun. Images of the model can be found at my Imgur post: https://imgur.com/gallery/va9A4IT YouTube Video: Here is a list of features: -Scale: 1:8. -Weight: 6.8kg. -Motors: 9, four PF-XL for driving, two PF-M for the firing mechanism, one PF-M each for the engine, turret traverse and gun control. -The hull is powered by twin AA battery boxes each fitted with three 3.7v Li-Ion 14500 batteries and three dummy batteries, giving a total output of 22.2v for the hull, which is how such a heavy vehicle drives around without many issues. The turret is powered by a single 7.4v Li-Po. -Unlike my A34 Comet, which was driven only from the rear, the Vickers is driven from the front and rear, vastly improving mobility. On smooth ground it can neutral steer, on rough ground it can turn in a large radius. -There are two SBricks fitted in the hull, and one fitted in the turret. -Track tensioners are mounted on the side to increase or reduce track tension. This makes removing the tracks rather easy. -The removable engine deck allows access to the AA battery boxes and the straight-six Armstrong-Siddeley Puma engine, which looks and functions like the real one. -The turret can traverse 360 degrees without any snags. -Six different hatches can be opened on the turret for maintenance. -The gun can be elevated and depressed to a limited extent, the coaxial Vickers Gun follows suite. -The main gun can fire and is rather powerful (More than my A34 Comet). The projectiles fire through the actual barrel and look like real shells rather than just regular technic liftarms. -The firing mechanism automatically reloads each shot, the spent shell casing is ejected into a collecting tray at the rear of the turret for retrieval. -When firing, the gun recoils in a realistic manner. -The magazine can be removed for resupplying, and can hold up to four shots (four shells and four shell casings). -The suspension system is Leaf-Spring Bogies and is quite unique - I used lego 1x8 tiles to function exactly as leaf-springs do in real life and it works a treat. -The model features white headlights and red rearlights for a nice effect. -Other decorative features include a fire extinguisher, shovel, spare roadwheel, rearview mirror, exhaust pipe, radiator and vents. Building Experience: This model was quite challenging to build, with most of the initial problems caused by the suspension and the turret. Firstly, on the real Vickers, two bars run width-ways along the chassis to keep each bogie securely attached, however at this scale in Lego it is not possible due to the flexibility of Lego pieces. It took about thirty revisions of the suspension system to stop it from collapsing when driving at full-speed, and oddly enough the actual leaf-spring part was to begin with the most reliable part of each bogey. Thankfully, the final revision fixed this problem completely, though I now understand why the British army rejected such a design . . . The turret also gave me issues, mostly because of how small it is, with the firing mechanism barely being able to fit inside, with room to elevate, depress and recoil about two-studs' length. On top of this I needed room for the elevation/depression mechanism, the battery box, SBrick, motors and finally room to remove and insert the magazine. I fixed all of these problems to a certain degree, with the only issue being inserting and removing the magazine is a bit fiddly, however I am willing to accept this minor inconvenience for what is otherwise a very functional and decently reliable turret. The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft. A historical documentary I saw on TV inspired me to build this aircraft in particular. It features retractable landing gear and just enough space to fit a minifig head inside the cockpit. 2010, Plantasea Lt. Sunday Priestime be assigned to inflitrate and be member of the international terrorist group named "Shining Trail" as information talked about preparations for a hit in Plantasean terrioty. 2010, Swintoc After few months and some bloody attacks, Lt.Priestime became group leader Hugo Drax trusted friend. Later that year, "Shining Trail" planned an attack to a chemical lab where Dr.Rotwang work with some of the deadliest viruses trying to produce vaccines for them. Hugo Drax wants to force Dr.Rotwang to produce weaponized viruses for bioterrorism attacks. "Shining Trail" members entered to chem lab to kidnap Dr.Rotwang but they didn't know that Lt.Priestime send a message to Swintoc police about the attack, so the Swintoc Police Special Forces came to site. As police chase terrorists and there was danger for Dr.Rodwanf to be killed, Lt.Priestime tried to stop Hugo Drax, but he turned and shood him. Right after Drax escaped... ...and Swintoc police arrested wounded Lt.Priestime not knowing who he really is, and prison him in a black site... The Chem Lab

2020, Today, Plantasea There are scattered rumors that a terrorist cell led my infamous Hug Drax is prepearing a big hit in Plantasean territory. But noone knows information about Drax and his organization, even how he looks. Same time and after ten years, following a lead, Plantasean agency "Green Door" found that Lt.Sunday Priestime is alive and held in an isolated prison. It is a penal prison in a subtropical island somewhere between Swintoc and New Selusia. Lt.Sunday Priestime is the only one who knows Hugo Drax and "Shining Trail", his terrorist group In no time, Hell Legion prepeared the rescue operation. Lt.Coloner Saunders himseld, old close friend of Priestime, will lead the OYK Team 6 of the Legion Τhe attack will take place late afternoon, in the time that prisoners return from penal labor. In the prison island, Hell Legion commandos first shoot the guard in the elevated guardhouse and same time throw inside the yard smoke grenades. During the panic created, Legionaires cut chain and barbed wire so to get in Prisoners killing prison guards, prison guards killing prisoners, and Legionaires clearing the mess... The Black Night Challenger 2 is an upgraded version of the British army Challenger 2 MBT. The new version of the Challenger 2 features many new improvements mainly mounted inside and outside of the turret. The new combat equipment of the Black Night MBT turret is equipped with a Safran Paseo commander’s independent sight, Leonardo thermal imager for the gunner, and Leonardo night sight DNVS 4 to provide hunter-killer thanks to thermal imagers for the gunner, commander, and driver. Uses the same turret as the standard Challenger 2 that is mounted in the center of the hull. Main armament includes consists of one BAE Systems L30A1 RO Defence 120 mm rifled tank gun fitted with a thermal sleeve, fume extractor and muzzle reference system. The layout of the Challenger 2 Black Night MBT is similar to the original Challenger 2 except for the turret which is equipped with additional systems including night vision equipment, active protection and laser warning systems. It also has CV-12 Condor V-12 12-cylinder diesel developing 1,200 hp, hydro-pneumatic suspension and hydraulic track tension system. It was designed and built by the British company Vickers Defence Systems (now known as BAE Systems Land & Armaments). Vickers Defence Systems began to develop a successor to Challenger 1 as a private venture in 1986. A £90 million deal for a demonstrator vehicle was finalised in January 1989. In June 1991, the Ministry of Defence placed a £520 million order for 140 vehicles, with a further 268 ordered in 1994. Production began in 1993 and the unit's tanks were delivered in July 1994, replacing the Challenger 1. The tank entered service with the British Army in 1998, with the last delivered in 2002. It is expected to remain in service until 2035. The Army of Oman ordered 18 Challenger 2s in 1993 and a further 20 tanks in November 1997. The Challenger 2 is an extensive redesign of the Challenger 1. Although the hull and automotive components seem similar, they are of a newer design and build than those of the Challenger 1 and fewer than 5% of components are interchangeable. The tank's drive system provides a 550 km range, with a maximum road speed of 59 km/h. It has a four-man crew. The Challenger 2 is considered to be one of the best protected tanks in the world. The turret and hull are protected with second generation Chobham armour (also known as Dorchester). However, on one occasion, in August 2006, during the post-invasion stage of the Iraq War 2003 an RPG-29 was fired at a Challenger 2 that was climbing over a ramp, the front underside hull armour of the tank which was not augmented with an ERA package was damaged, the tank subsequently returned to base under its own power and was quickly repaired and back on duty the following day. As a result, the ERA package was replaced with a Dorchester block and the steel underbelly lined with armour as part of the 'Streetfighter' upgrade as a direct response to this incident. To date, the only time the tank has ever been seriously damaged during operations, was by another Challenger 2 in a 'blue on blue' (friendly fire) incident. The Type 99 A2 MBT is an improved version of the Type 99 MBT designed and manufactured in China by the local defense industry. Main armament of the Type 99A2 consists of one 125mm smoothbore gun with a thermal sleeve and fume extractor. The turret is fitted with a carousel automatic loader located below the turret. Smoke grenade dischargers are fitted on each side at the front of the turret. The hull and turret are of all-welded steel armour. The tank has also an improved composite armor over the front of the hull and turret to provide a higher level of protection against anti-tank guided missiles and rockets. It has a new Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA) able to defeat new generation of tandem warhead of anti-tank missiles which is mounted at the front and along the sides of the turret. The same ERA armour is fitted at the front of the hull. The Type 99A2 is motorized with a 150HB turbo-charged diesel engine developing 1,500 hp. Standard equipment of the Type 99A2 includes an NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection system, fire detection and suppression system, global positioning system and snorkel for deep fording. The Type 99A2 MBT is fitted with the 1A45T Fire Control System, A JD-3 infra-red jammer is mounted at the base of the top of the barrel to jam Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) such as the Western HOT, TOW and MILAN. A laser jamming device is mounted on the turret roof. The year is 2035. War rages across Europe and Asia. NATO is struggling to keep the peace. The Middle East is riddled with pockets of biological radiation. To deal with the challenges and hazards associated with the new breed of warfare, NATO updated their legendary M1A3 Abrams Main Battle Tank. The resulting armored vehicle was designated the M1A4 SEPV5. Upgrades include a new unmanned turret, vehicle defense package, and heavy weapons suite. The most prominent feature of the new turret is the pair of "rabbit ear" missile tubes. The missiles are based off of the Titan MRPL Compact from ArmA 3. Mounted all around the main chassis are Active Protection System grenade launchers and their infrared targeting cameras. The APS launches chaff/smoke grenades to confuse guided anti-tank missiles. The tank's cannon has been upgraded to a 120mm cannon with a rate of fire of about 15 rounds per minute. At the end of the barrel is the gunner's primary sight, with a muzzlebreak fitted to keep muzzle flash from interfering with the gunner's sight picture. The 7.62 coaxial machine gun has been replaced with a 12.7mm (50 Caliber) machine gun. The driver's hatch on this tank has been replaced with an aftermarket one, as the standard version does not have any periscopes fitted. It appears that the crew of this tank are fans of classic PC gaming. Looking at the rear of the tank, we see the rear mounted CROWS turret. This is an automated weapons system designed to protect the tank from rear attacks. It features a mounted M2 50 caliber machine gun, MAAWS anti-tank missile launcher, and two blocks of tear-gas launchers. The writing reads: How's My Driving? 1-800-Screw-You. The interior of the tank has been upgraded with more controls and sensor screens for the commander and gunner. Additional rounds for the MAAWS and boxes of 50 caliber Raufoss rounds can also be seen. The C2 Ariete MBT has been developed at the end of Cold War, to replace Leopard 1 and M60. After an initial offer, Italy decided to achieve the development of a battle tank by financing its industries. The main armament of the C2 Ariete is a 120 mm smooth-bore cannon, which is able to fire APFSDS-T (Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot Tracer) and HEAT (High-Explosive Anti-Tank). The MRS (Muzzle Reference System) system is also present on the muzzle (on the end of the barrel). There are 8 GALIX launchers for 80 mm smoke bombs (4 per side of the turret) capable of firing FUM-B grenades which generate an effective smoke screen both in the visible and in the IR. The front and side armor of Ariete is made of steel and composite materials; the turret is built with the same technique as the hull and has, on top, additional armor to protect the crew from missiles with a high profile flight path. The C2 Ariete is equipped with the TURMS OG-I4 L3 system by Galilelo Avionica (periscopes, COSMO MP501, meteorological and ballistic sensors, gyroscopic device, MRS, coaxial auxiliary telescope). The Ariete is equipped with NBC system. It also has anemometer, RALM receiver, Radio antennas attached to digital radios of the SINCGARS type, PSO Additional Armor Pack, new 1600hp IVECO engine, Integration of SICCONA and an APS of type "SCUDO". The T-90M also nicknamed Proryv-3 is an upgraded variant of the export version of the Russian T-90MS Main Battle Tank (MBT). The T-90M Model 2017 is improved in term of protection, mobility and fire power. Main armament of the T-90M Model 2017 Proryv-3 consists of one 125 mm 2A46M-4 smoothbore gun able to fire standard ammunition but also anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). At the rear of the commander hatch is mounted a remotely operated weapon station armed with a NSVT 12.7mm heavy machine gun. The T-90M features a new all-welded turret design protected by the Relikt ERA (Explosive Reactive Armour) armour fitted at the front and on each side of the turret. It features higher protection performance and serviceability compared with the Kontakt-5 ERA suite. The lower part of the turret on 360° is also protected by an RPG metal net to counter the threat of rocket propelled grenades. The T-90M Proryv-3 is motorized with a V-92S2 engine developing 1,000 hp. The T-90M is also protected by a soft- and hard-kill active protection systems (APS), which seems similar to the Afghanit system installed on the T-14 Armata. According to Russian military experts, the T-90M is also fitted with a modern fire-control system providing tank-type target detection at a range of 5,000 m by day, an enhanced dual-axis gun stabilizer and automatic target tracker that can operate in hunter-killer mode. The Type 10 (TK-X) is an advanced fourth-generation main battle tank (MBT) for the Japan Ground Self Defence Force (JGSDF). Main armament of the Type 10 MBT consists of a 120mm L44 smooth-bore gun. On each side of the turret is fitted a bank of electrically operated smoke grenade launchers that are coupled to the warning laser system. The hull and the turret are of all-welded steel amour including nano-crystal steel and fourth generation of modular ceramic composite armor which provides protection against rocket propelled grenade (RPG) rounds, HEAT projectiles, and anti-tank missiles. The add-on armour modules can be easily removed and installed to add/remove protection levels. The Type 10 MBT is powered by diesel engines producing 1200 hp. The Type 10 is also fitted with an Hydropneumatic Active Suspension which allows the driver to lower and raised the overall height of the vehicle to suit the tactical situation. The suspension can be also adjusted on the left or right and front or rear. The Type 10 MBT can run at a maximum speed of 70 km/h. Standard equipment of the Type 10 MBT includes automated fire suppression systems, NBC (Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical) protection, C4I (command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence) system, night-vision cameras and laser warning systems. The C4I system allows the tank to communicate and share information with other tanks in the GSDF network. The intelligence C4I system also enables the MBT to work together with the troops in the infantry's outdoor computer network, Regiment Command Control System (ReCS) during integrated combat operations.The Type 10 MBT is also fitted with a computerized fire-control system (FCS) that enable the vehicle to engage stationary and moving targets while the vehicle is stopped or moving. The Type 10 MBT is fitted with a digital battlefield management system (BMS) that provides increased situational awareness by displaying the required information. Broadside is one of my favorite triple changers ever since I set my eyes on his G1 toy photo decades ago. I had a chance to acquire Chinese KO version of him many years ago (bundled together with a few KO combiner limbs) but sadly missed out on it. So I never owned / played with this toy to understand his notoriety as a brick-former in the TF fandom. Anyway... 9 years ago I attempted LEGO Broadside version 1 (below) . VERSION 1 As you can see... the ship mode looks fat and the plane mode has saggy wings. duh! VERSION 2 Few months ago I started this v2 project after I saw a photo of Macross Valkyrie in my FB feed . That's an eureka moment where I kinda got the transformation to jet mode figured out. From there , I took a few breaks in between to retreat, rethink and redo it to get the right shaping in both his alt modes. Inspired by USS Nimitz, the back of the ship mode must be symmetrical to provide more mass to form robot legs, unlike an actual ship show above . Compared to v1, the ship mode v2 here is missing armaments on the deck. This is a nod to G1 Broadside's bio about "his vulnerability in ship mode and the need to rely on his passengers to protect him." USS Titanic is a Transformer too :) One of the transformation step: fold the ship deck to form the jet mode's rear. JET MODE Jet mode was inspired by F-14 Tomcat. Since the ship mode is long, this causes the halved deck to form pretty long wings for the jet. ROBOT MODE! In the actual G1 toy of Broadside, he's equipped with an Axe and also a gun. Here, I've decided to integrate them both as a single weapon (Axe turning to gun)... and it's named Hull-Raiser. :) When not on active duty, he tend to his farm and crops. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, BEHOLD: The Mighty MAZ 7310 Uragan Cargo Truck, in LEGO! This massive set, which I have designed over the course of two years, stands almost ten inches tall, two feet long, and is comprised of almost 7,000 pieces. I sat at my computer for hours a day, sometimes, surfing the web, looking at blueprints, building, deleting, building some more, etc. And now, finally, I can reveal my masterpiece to the world! Bwa-ha-ha! Okay, anyway, I have designed my set for maximum playability, stuffing it full of all sorts of awesome goodies, like opening hood, doors, tailgate, and utility boxes. A removable roof, folding rear seats, free-spinning wheels (including the steering wheel), two Diesel engine options, a generator, compressor, radiator, Master Mechanic's Toolkit, fuel and water drums, 12v batteries, large cargo container, winch, wide-load flags, roof racks, warning beacon, fog lights, two sets of mirrors, lightbars, and more! (Whew! I'm out of breath!) Now, for the real machine: The MAZ 7310 (Minsk Automobile Plant, in Russian), was a large 8-wheeled Missile Transport truck built in the 1950s and 60s. Soon after, people started using them as cargo trucks, tankers, tow trucks, and airport fire trucks. Alright, that's it! Thank you all for looking at my LEGO creation! Update: Also, some of you may have noticed that the cab of the real vehicle is slightly longer. This is true, I had to shorten the LEGO version out of necessity, as the extra length could’ve affected my MOC’s stability and structural integrity.
