Well it's been 9 months since I have built anything I felt deserved posting, but with our annual big show, Sydney Brick Show, next week I have been working on a large space collaboration with Taz-Maniac, Intrastella/Dr Rod and Bricktron. My part doesn't fit on my large table and had to be constructed in parts, some old stuff returning as well as new pieces. Hopefully I will snap some good pics at the show next weekend to post, but for now this is a little tidbit. Pumpkonia On the desolate plains of the planet Agreon, the Pumpkonians have learn't how best to exploit the natural resources while turning a space buck or two. Commandeering bits and pieces from downed star ships and bartering with otherworldly conglomerates keen to mine the rich Ioth gas deposits for their jump gate technologies, the Pumpkonians have all they need for a simplistic life style. A few days ago, I've made the Ultra Fast Intergalactic Speeder for my Space layout, which is currently a WIP. The speeder can be used by one astronaut a time. The speeder have also some components for improving fast movement. I've chosen some special Technic parts for making the chassis of the speeder. Hello, I wanted to ask whether anyone has ever attempted recreating the classic images from the Lego catalogues in the early 90s, in real life. I'm really getting into post-classic (?) Space such as Ice Planet and Blacktron II, and would really like to recreate the snow and ice, especially the ice-frozen Blacktron guy as shown here, but obviously out of something that won't melt !!!!. Has anyone got experience or links to ideas on how to recreate the snow and ice in this picture? Thanks

A few months ago, I've made this MOC. The Rock Raiders can use this vehicle to transport energy crystals and mining equipment to locations what's not reachable for ground vehicles. It's based on the original Rock Raiders 4980 Tunnel Transport. Musha Gundam are Gundam units modelled after samurai, ninja, or other forms of feudal Japanese warriors. hey all, so normally i like to make town and vehicle related stuff, but when /r/lego posted a challenge for a retro-inspired build i knew i wanted to do a space station build and give some new life to my old space bricks from my childhood in the 80's. i thought i'd share here since i'm sure some of you will enjoy. you can see all pics w/ captions here... http://imgur.com/a/EBTIb here's a few highlights to get you interested, the build was inspired by set #6970 with it's monorail shuttle and big command center screen.

Hello, Several month's ago, Ive created this crawler drill, but haven't post it on Eurobricks until now The crawler is an heavy machine with masive drill power to deal with the roughest terrain. Two chrome drills, two mining lasers and a radar are the equipment for this vehicle to research the dangerous dark caves. The Futuron Explorer is a modular space ship. I've made this ship in the Futuron (Lego Space theme) colour sceme. Each part of the ship can be disconnected from each other. So it's possible to make three space ships, each his own functionality. The ship is suited with a lot of features: - Three cockpits (Each of them can operate as a space ship) - A crane to pick up containers - mini sattelite (which can be disconnected from the ship) - guns to protect the ship and the other bases and vehicles - A speeder who's connected at the backside of the ship. Hi, I just wanted to share my K-Wing with you. If you want this to become an official LEGO set, please support this project on LEGO Ideas (formerly LEGO Cuusoo). History The K-Wing was a heavy starfighter in the Star Wars universe. It was developed for the New Republic during the Yevethan crisis, replacing the B-Wing. In the Second Galactic Civil War, Commenor deployed K-wings for defense during the Battle of Commenor. (→ read more on Wookieepedia) The LEGO set The set I'm thinking of includes 3 rebel pilot minifigs and a R2-series astromech droid. It would fit perfectly to the other already released starfighters, like the official X- or Y-Wing sets. I created the model using Lego Digital Designer. My construction consists of 1020 pieces, the price would probably be around $100.00, but please consider that the final set design by LEGO could be different. This is the beginning of my space armada. A carrier for these ships is in the works, but as of yet unfinished. This is the bomber. It is based on the B-17 from WWII. This is the space superiority fighter. In part based on the A-wing from Star Wars and the Viper Mk II from Battlestar Galactica. And this is the gunship. Based in part on the Apache and Comanche helicopters. Here are the LDD files. [HSH] Cat B - Tyrell Space City Many considered it man's crowning achievement in space, Tyrell City. The only place in space except for earth where humans could really feel at home. A marvel of engineering, the huge dome enclosing the city created what felt like a natural sky it's inhabitants - the perfect space to relax for the space weary traveller. Not many could afford their own place in the city, but many came to spend their hard earned money unwinding for a short while. Comments are welcome!

My next Blacktron ship is ready to show, this time it forms off one of those general Vic Viper/starcraft cockpit design ideas that is pictured on FlickR somewhere, with some added folding wings thrown in. Rather fittingly it is the Blacktron Demon, fast, powerful and dark/sleek enough to launch attacks on unsuspecting craft. Given the name and backgrounds, this is one of those crafts that lurks around in the darkest, deepest places in space. A nebula might look fine to explore, but behind it or lurking in the dark near it you never know what is there. Original Yellow Space Shots Enjoy!

Hi everyone, This is my first MOC post on Eurobricks! Any feedback/comments suggestions is great! I first decided to build this after one of my teachers (knowing I love LEGO), gave me a huge bin of LEGO to sort for her robotics class and gave me free rights to take anything I wanted. There was a lot of interesting classic space and castle stuff in there, but the thing that struck me the most was this (http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2345p44) piece. I asked if I could have that and some classic space torsos, and immediately was inspired to build a Blacktron MOC! Here it is! I drew my sources mainly from 6984 Invader (http://brickset.com/.../6894-1/Invader) and embellished on it. Here it is! I tried to make it more streamlined than the previous incarnation, so unfortunately I had to use a trans-black windshield instead of trans-yellow (please don't kill me ) Here's flight mode. And, true to the original, it separates and can even combine with my Alienator 2.0 (pics coming soon) And here's the cargo container, it holds a minifigure. Cockpit! This was made quite a while ago, and I really do not care for the gray piece on the cargo section, it detracts from the overall look. However, I have already replaced it with another black piece and I think it looks a bit better More pics can be found on my flickr account! Thanks for the comments in advance! legozebra

As a child I read it from cover to cover many times. It inspired me to build an ocean floating city of the future from Lego. Found it in the loft last weekend. Didn't even know I'd kept it. It inspired me again.

LL-947 Space Defender Built to replace the ageing fleet of LL-918 one-man spacecrafts, the LL-947 has 6 side mounted lasers on the wings to defend itself from the forces of Blacktron, which was a key problem with the old 918 class spacecrafts, who couldn't defend themselves if they ran into trouble. There are numerous reports that some of these have been modified by Blacktron to use against our forces, but so far there is no photographic evidence of these occurrences. Enjoy!
