Hi everyone, today here I am to show you my version of the Batpod. When 5004590 was released, everyone was thrilled and tried to replicate one on their own with their parts. However, 5004590 looks just strange when you compare it to the real one. I bought the book The Dark Knight Manual to understand the design more, and research on the Internet for a month, and finally I built a version that I think is closer to the real Batpod. The original Batpod is an escape pod from Batman's Tumbler, and the mechanism is based on the S-shaped axis. Each of the two wheels are connected to the body by one-sided arm only. 5004590 set does not do this while mine follows that design. The shape of the Batpod is also in a reverse V-shaped manner, without any horizontal element. The LEGO set did not do that at all, and my version tries to follow that original profile, with rear part elongated as well to match the proportion. Front view, which shows the asymmetrical design of the wheel axis. The front view has mounted 3 pairs of weapons, with headlights on the sides too. Middle part, which retains some of the details of the original 5004590 set. I like this part the most, which keeps the original design of the Batpod: mudguard between the two pedals. I tried to add some wiring to mimic the original, but it looks too busy and so I ditch it in the end. The whole exercise was started as an MOD, but with my design goals to rebuild the form in the most realistic way, I redid the entire chassis in the end. Looks like an MOC at last! Anyway, there is one technical issue that prevents the front wheel guns from holding permanently, but as a display model, this is perfect already. Thanks for watching!

Hopla ! After 2 years of work, here is finally the monumental underground headquarters of batman : The Batcave Here are photos of the batcave without the light effects I realized that there were several possible interpretations to determine Batcave's style. I decided to go for a rather classic version with a cave atmosphere! The base of the Batcave is on 2 plates of 48x48 but in the end, it is much bigger! It is about 1.70m long and I have added LEDs all over the building. We obviously find in this Batcave, the great classics of the Batman universe, the Batmobiles (different eras), the Bat-computer, the bat-armory, etc... and the supervillains of course! Hi everyone. I'm c-t, I'm new here. I just wanted to share my Tumbler MOC from the Dark Knight movies with you all and get some feedback. I've tried to build one in this scale before and this is by far my best attempt. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Tumbler by CT Briggs, on Flickr I sacrificed a little bit of detail in the angles of the sides for the sake of durability, but I think it looks good while being very stable. Even though the tread isn't super accurate they were the perfect width and diameter for this scale. They're narrow enough that I can put them four across and it doesn't look too disproportionate. [MOD] 76139 1989 Batmobile - Motorized with all functions

Hey folks, another Motorization: all Functions of the 1989 Batmobile (LEGO 76139) RC controlled - yep the Batman again... Without sacrificing any of the nice details: Cockpit is still there, steering wheel works, just all motor driven and I motorized the guns and the roof and even made a tailored sbrick profile. Building instructions: Motorized LEGO 1989 Batmobile on rebrickable Driven by 2 LEGO Power Functions L-Motors (1:1 transmission) steered by a LEGO Power Functions Servo Motor guns engaged/disengaged by Motor roof opened/closed by Motor special Sbrick profile with programmig and grafics included a lot of space for up to 2 battery boxes/control hubs easily reachable under the trunk hatch (details on my rebrickable MOC page) Watch a Review of my motorized 1989 Batmobile on youtube: The Batmobile from Tim Burton's Batman 1989 with Michael Keaton is definitely one of the coolest, it's not as funky as the 1960s TV version and not as tank as the Nolan version but in my opinion it's simply a beaute! The 1989 Batmobile is using over 3,300 pieces, and over 60cm long. I added a few hundred bricks, mainly LEGO Technic and reused some others. So I ended up with over 3500 parts and (batteries included) almost 3.5 kg. That's heavy! So I needed a powerfull drive. I was thinking about the buggy motors but these are large and I wanted to put the batteries into the trunk. So i went for a pair of LEGO Power Functions L-Motors. These are some of the strongest LEGO motors and very small and efficient for their power and speed. The 1989 Batmobile is sleak and lies very deep on the road so it is geometrically impossible to move up any small hills (or even carpets). It will get stuck with its floor height of less then a brick. So it will only drive on a flat surface anyway. So it can be build for speed instead of torque power which the 1:1 transmission of the two L-Motors will do: It's a speed build, literally. One reason to put the batteries into the trunk was, to reach it easily for changing/recharging or simply switching on. Another reason was, to not put them into the beautifull cockpit with its nice self opening windshield - self opening? Yes, now it is motor driven ofcourse. And you hardly see the mechanics on the floor. Okay, the Batman minifigure included is way too small for the car but I found a Batman LEGO LED light, that fits into the car. Just be carefull when closing the cockpit to not get stuck. Slide-open is no problem. The car’s turbine exhaust by the way does not drive the machine guns anymore (it does in the original) because now a motor engages them. So I could make the jet exhaust it look like a real jet engine - the only exterior I changed. To make the two machine guns hidden, under the hood pop up, just press a button now. The Batmobile comes with nice little Bat emblems printed on the wheel rim - try not to lose them while driving, they are rare parts. The set of specially designed tyres for the front wheels is steered in a very specific geometry. I took care to keep that working the exact same way because it works very well for steering. The Build was complicated, took me weeks to get it right. I didnt want to change the exterior and as few as possible from the cockpit. You shouldnt see the opening mechanics. And I wanted to have all the features working, even the steering wheel (though steering is handled by a servo motor now) Every time I thought I got it, something else made problems, untill finally it all worked out. You can skip the trial and error (and breaking old LEGO gears) part: I made instructions and made them easily readable, so you can have it speed build in no time. I believe everyone should be able to build a LEGO set and try to make my instructions like that. Now it's hard to say, which one is the best batmobile motorization I ever made: The Lego 76139 1989 UCS Batmobile has more functions: motor driven MGs and a motor driven roof, the remote controlled motorized Lego 76023 UCS Tumbler I modded however has a full steerable front suspension for the independen wheels. my special Sbrick profile with some automated scripts is included I even made a cable layout for the power functions cables and extentions if you ended down here you may also be interested in or -

Hi, first post about doing a mod, but I felt pretty passionate about this one. Having grown up with the "original" Batman films, I loved the UCS Batmobile, and while I also love the lego Batwing, the elongated cockpit really struck me as a bit NQR. I tried various mods on mecabricks, and while the most accurate "shrinkage" (based on the original studio model) of the length of the cockpit would require the removable of (two) of the sections of 1/4 clear wall elements, this would require a full blown redesign of the seat and cockpit to fit it all in the remaining one. I also tried utilizing the new UCS A-wing canopy, but it's width isn't the 8 studs required (6 only), and again, a full redesign would be needed (which is a shame as it is a more accurate shape compared to this sets design) So finally, I settled on removing 2x BOW 1/4 4X4X1 which effectively shortened the length by about 2-3 studs (along with removal of other parts that were between the two cockpit sections). This allowed me to move the front of the canopy backwards 1 stud (more screen accurate) and also move the back "shell" (WALL ELEMENT CONE 3X6X6) forwards - again more screen accurate. To complete the look, I'm planning on printing some back vinyl to make the rear section of the canopy a sloping black area (rather than clear all the way back then a vertical black where the shell starts). The other major change I made was to remove some of the dark grey "detailing" to remain more screen accurate - especially the spoilers. I narrowed them by a stud to take advantage of the void below them created by removing the two LDG 2x6 bricks, which then allowed them to sit much more flush when down (with some detailing underneath 1 stud lower than the rest of the wing area) Instead of writing more, maybe I'll just show what I'm talking about, as it will hopefully make more sense that way. Hi folks, I made a motorization for the good old big Batman Tumbler, if youre interested, seems to be the only one out there, the instructions and details are here. full front suspension with moving swing arms (those big things in the front that hold the wheels, like in the movies) Power Functions servo motor steering system, nicely hidden so you won't see it through the windows or in the front what's more powerful than an L-engine and faster than a XL-engine? Right, two L-engines! This motorisation retrofit is fun! Differential for the back axle, with those big wheels you will need it all gears run stable, no cracking suspension for the back axis using springs of the same size as those pseudo springs from the original set a retractable roof (no separate roof parts like in the original) a few other small modifications to make it look a bit closer to the original and make it more sturdy not to lose parts while working very stable frame -
Following on from my batmobile style experiment, I fell into building a batcave to go with one of them. I decided to try and give the impression of it being hidden in the foundations for Wayne Manor, rather than occupying a entirely separate strata of gothic cavern that sits inexplicably on the Gotham coast. Don't get me wrong, I love giant, elaborate superhero lairs as much as the next person, but for this model I stuck to the essentials: computer, car, equipment. I did intend to build a more elaborate system of passageways behind the facade, even toying with the idea of incorporating a piece of the manor itself. But I kind of ran out of steam with the idea, so this is all there is. Hopefully it is diverting enough as it stands.

I put these together over the past few weeks, mostly to alleviate the boredom of staying indoors all the time! Trying to evoke different styles of Batmobile rather than recreate existing designs. A 'classic' car, trying to evoke the original designs, with a dash of the 1989 take. The 'car of the future' style that ran through the 66 show into the Super Powers cartoon. Mostly an exercise in getting the canopies to work! The militaristic version, patterned after the Tumbler and the dune-buggy from Dawn of Justice. Not especially pleased with how it came out, but hey, steering. A stylised look, more taking after some of the comic interpretations than the film versions. I started with this and the idea of the horns for wheel arches. Enjoy!

Greetings! New here and I hope I'm not breaking any rules, I did read over the guidelines and FAQ. Fairly new to Lego, Fathers day gift of 2019 got me into it and have been collecting a few Batman/Batmobile related things. I purchased the display case/stand From Wicked Brick for the 1989 (76139) and smaller 40433 https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/dual-display-case-for-lego-dc-batmobile-76139-and-batmobile-40433?variant=31464464711727 As well as the case/stand for the Tumbler (76023) https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/copy-of-display-stand-for-lego-dc-the-tumbler-76023?variant=31949921386543 I'm looking for a case/stand for the Batmobile UCS (7784) and the smaller inspired version (76119), similar to the case for the 1989's I posted above. Is anyone familiar enough with Wicked Brick products to know whether the 1989 case will work for this as well? Perhaps with a different set of the Vario display stands they offer? I did e-mail them and ask if they would consider making a case for this or if a custom one could be made but looks like no dice there.

Since this is becoming a whole series, I thought it's time for a general discussion topic. According to the Brick Fan, It will be available on March 1 while the Digital HD version will be available on February 9. LEGO DC Comics Superheroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash by Allen Tran, on Flickr The trailer doesn't look that exciting. Brainiac seems annoying and this feels like a retreat of the Lego Batman 3 plot, just with the Legion of Superheroes added in. On the other hand, I enjoyed the Legion of Superheroes cartoon back in the day and I really liked the last Lego Justice League movie, "Attack of the Legion of Doom", so I hope that they will be able to surprise me again and that the movie will be much better than the trailer makes it out to be. And yes, I believe in Batman too. What are your thoughts on this and the other Lego DC movies?

This interpretation of 10937 Arkham Asylum as the modular building, “An Alternate Asylum,” was created with four official sets and a handful of various monochromatic plates from my collection. Additionally, I elected to substitute some gray bricks with those of slightly more saturated hues via Bricklink. MEANWHILE... In Gotham City... OOPS!!! I just noticed the links to my project stopped working after Lego CUUSOO changed to Lego Ideas. Man that's a bunch of time I've lost collecting supporters. I present to you 'The Cartboard Crusaders' A random 1966 Batmanscene in GothamCity invcluding the Batmobile, to Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television series that's coming up... Description: The car is relatively small with it's 7 stud wide build-up, yet big enough to hold 2 minifigures. Those figures can be placed and removed without taking off any part. I build this car with loads of playfeatures the original car also had: Atomic Turbine Engine, Bat-Radar, Rocketlaunchers, opening decklid to reveal the Mobile Crime Computer, Bat-shutes, Chainslicer in the nose, as well as a Bat-a-Ram, Aluminum dashboards, and last but not least, the Bat-Phone. Many have followed the Batmobile here on Eurobricks but haven't seen the newly finished display scenery. So here goes: The backdrop. (a short story) I picked a scene I instantly remember when reminiscing about the show: Batman and Robin walking the walls vertical yet very horizontal, in kind of a creepy very close together choreographed manner... But that's what made the show so fun to watch. Always a citizen in an open window. This time it's the beautifull Catwoman. Or is it... It happens to be a mannequin disguised as Catwoman to lure our Caped Crusaders into the Jokers trap. The Joker is standing on top of the building ready to cut the line... Because of this fake building (in this MOC, and in the tv series) I gave this project the name: 'Cartboard Crusaders'. So here it is. The one and only Batmobile. Let's take a look at some of the details... I've tried to cram as much in as possible: But I think this is the best part: It's fits two minifigs side by side which can be taken out of and put back in without taking off any part of the car. And I think the 7 stud wide size is perfect for minifig/city/town/modular-scale. Now all you have to do is VOTE on cuusoo, because you know you want it to be available in an official exclusive collectorsbox! Thanks in advance. And if you don't..? This video game depiction of the Batmobile is one of my favorites, with the gold bat symbols adding quite a bit to the "over the top"ness of the design. I decided to recreate the video game model as best I can, but I did reach something of a snag in depicting the front bat symbol. In the game, it has a taper matching up with the rest of the hood, but I've run out of ideas in how to depict this while retaining the structural integrity of the original 76035 set. I have come up with a decent solution using a jumper piece, and if this is the best that can be done I'll be happy. Additionally, there's one game detail that I'm wondering if it's entirely possible. The side panels (2 x 2 tiles) seem to work, but the fit is either too tight or impossible. Can any more experienced MOCers weigh in on these issues? I'll be happy to provide the IO file if need be, but see the pictures of the current build below. Hope you enjoy!
