    [MOC] Kayenji's Podracer

Kayenji’s Podracer. This is a fictional podracer, based on the Star Wars stories. Even Kayenji is a fictional character. I've chosen chain link as "main piece" of this podracer. The chain links are used as base for the seat and the two engines. 01_Kayenji's_Podracer by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr 02_Kayenji's_Podracer by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr 03_Kayenji's_Podracer by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr I've built this podracer yesterday afternoon. I hope you like it:) Pictures also on Flickr:
  3. Hi Everyone! This is my entry for the Micro/Midis Contest on FBTB. I chose to make Anakin and Sebulba's podracers because, well, I just love podracers. Actually, I'm only entering Sebulba's Podracer since you can only enter one Microfighter and it's the more detailed one of the two. It is made out of 109 parts (not counting the stand) which is the same amount of parts as the Microfighters U-Wing has. The side pods of the cockpit double as flick-fire missiles and can be aimed up and down. And because you can't have Sebulba without Anakin, I built a microfighter of Anakin's Podracer to go along with it. Which one do you think turned out better? Cast your vote in the poll above. Let the race begin!

  5. Hello, everyone! A while back I made a model of Anakin Skywalker's Podracer in LDD. It was heavily-based on the 2011 edition of the set. This version that I am presenting you now is an original design of mine, I think it is much more accurate and detailed than my original concept. I rendered the picture in Bluerender. The model has 187 pieces. Please offer any comments, criticisms, or praises! AnakinPodracerV2.lxf

    [LDD MOC] Anakin Skywalker's Podracer

So after hearing we'd be getting another version of Anakin Skywalker's Podracer in 2016, I decided to go ahead and make my own rendition of it. This model has 253 pieces, and many features such as a detachable stand, rotating engines, and detachable cables. Minifigures include Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, and a Pit Droid. Additional pictures as well as the .lxf file can be found in my brickshelf folder: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=558204 (will be private for a few hours until site admins approve it). Any comments, criticisms, or praise is encouraged and welcomed. Also, I would like for this to be indexed if it is allowed to be.
  7. Imagine you have to build a podracer with elements of vehicles and fighters having taken part to the Battle of Endor for the Boonta Eve Classic. I think it could look like this one. More pictures and larger ones can be found into this flickr album. Enjoy. (it has been built for the 10-th TechLUG StarWars contest).
  8. Hi everyone, this is the podracer I designed for the TechLug contest number 10, were the goal was to create his own podracer. It is 45cm long, 19cm wide, 8.5cm high and has 506 pieces. Here is its TechLug topic, There the results topic, with the others 13 entries. Do not hesitate to take a closer look at them ! I finished 7th. I wanted it to be as accurate as possible while keeping designing something simple, coherent and strong. Each reactor has eight same sides with a few variations (shield, cable fixation....). This picture of the first version, with LBG grills instead of white, shows all the elements of one reactor : More pictures of the precedent version with LBG grilles in my BrickSafe or Brickshelf gallery. Hope you like it, remarks, comments and suggestions are always welcome .
