  1. <p>The pirate endured a terrific storm last night, in which their ship was dashed against the rocks. Many died, but quite a few swam to shore and the first mate is the last to make it off the boat. He briefly wonders what has happened to the crew (and why the rat is staying on the boat remains, surely they are the first to abandon ship?) but all these thoughts are pushed from his mind when he spots the islanders. Beautiful ladies with big smiles and that grinning chap seems alright too, friendly, ahhh he's saved.... IsleOfJewelsCloseUp, on Flickr First mate wades to shore, greeted by friendly locals ShipwreckedWithFriendlyNatives, on Flickr But all is not as it seems on this beautiful island, sure the islanders are the happiest people you will meet, but maybe its because they are preparing for the big feast of roasted pirate... char-grilled and slow roasted over the lava flow provided by the angry Volcano God. RoastPirates, on Flickr The brains are the best bit so its good to remove them from the body and eat them while they are fresh and if you don't keep up with the latest fashion in hairpieces you don't get to come to the feast so its important to get the first pick of the new bones! Brains and Bone Fashion[/url, on Flickr And most importantly of all sacrifices must be made to the mighty Volcano God to keep him happy. Many pirates are beheaded and thrown into his fiery crator (the Islanders keep the brains though). Volcanic Sacrifice, on Flickr Hope you like my entry of Happy Islanders at work! 2. The Samurai Code represents an ancient Japanese village in Feudal Japan. The courtyard on top of the grand stair case has a samurai dojo, shinto shrine, and Japanese bell. Stunning waterfalls, ponds, rivers, caves, rice fields, volcano, and Japanese characters throughout. Play features like power functions and zip line. Illuminates with LED lights. 3. Era 2 Chalenge 1 Cat B2: A Volcano Extract of the personal log of Fernando de la Izquierda : "After a little ascension we managed to understand where the smoke was coming from. Our men helped us to build some little wooden platform (with, again, grumblings from Bernardo...) to reach the edge of what appeared to be a volcano mouth !" "The chimnea itself is not very high nor large and could be a small part of a bigger lava network running underground. It would explain the discovery of hot water pools in the vicinity... The lava is slowly running to the river downside through a breach at the south part of the chimnea and seems not very fluid. It is surely indicating a regular but somewhat calm activity. Well, for a volcano, of course... But no risk to see the island explode on a big eruption here..." Here is my 2nd entry on Cat B. It is linked to my first entry and they are built to be one next to another. In the spoiler I am showing the 2 builds together :
  4. I wanted to create some different areas based on the four elements represented by the four main elves, I've mixed parts from all kinds of different sets to create these places. This one is the earth themed home for Farran the Earth Elf. I wanted it to be part cottage, part treehouse. It's mostly parts from The Elves Treetop Hideaway and the Ewok Village sets. I attached my waterfall cave alongside the treehouse I also made a fire themed volcano cave with a tall treehouse/tower neighbouring it. It's mostly made from a Lego Friends set that has a cabin and a waterfall. I kept the cabin and built the tower above it and changed the waterfall into a volcano. I've created a workshop for the Air Elf Aira in one section of the tower with a bedroom above it, an observing platform with a telescope above that and a turret room on the top. The webisodes show that Azari the fire elf is homeless and just crashes with the other elves, but I've given her a warm place to sleep inside the volcano. I kept the camp beds in the cabin for the humans to sleep in when they visit Elvendale. And here's some random pictures..
  5. I decided The Nexo Knights Volcano Lair playset needed a little something extra... I added a Skull tower with a throne and a platform for adding ingredients into a cauldron for mixing up magical mischief... Work in progress image... Best picture I could get of the throne
  6. Hi, this is a moc we (me and my girlfriend, eb user vecchiasignoraceppo) have build for a local lego contest. Hope you like it!

    Video Review: Volcano Starter Set

picked this up in a recent haul. Surprisingly good set for the price.
  8. Location: A04 - Mynderis Tags: Science, Engineering Mission Log Recording - "This is Dr. Steven Quin Livingston with my seventh weekly mission in Andromeda. For this mission I have been asked to return to Mynderis set-up an Awesomnium detection grid. I have designed a suitcase size unit, but while I thought that Kawashita Group management would send someone to place to unit but it appears that assumption was just wishful thinking. Bill, my driver thought it would be a great idea for me to use a magnetic glove and be lowered into the active volcano so that I could place the sensors. The magnetic glove will not let my hand remove its grip from the mechanical arms of our ship. As I am being lowered from the Tanto-3 I am doubting the the wisdom of this plan and the scope of the Kawashita Group Medical Insurance Plan." Comments and criticism are welcome.

    [Challenge 1] [K - A06] Guinevere

    A volcano on Guinevere.
  10. [Challenge 1] Birth of a Fire Wasp on Guinevere This is probably my favourite build in AG (by myself that is ) so far! Getting everything to work together took a lot of tinkering, but the end result ended up looking almost exactly as I had planned, so I'm very happy about that. The build clocks in at exactly 1000 pieces. EDIT: Seems like I misinterpreted the rules as only being allowed to post one rendered image. Since that doesn't seem to be the case (as Bob uploaded a couple of renders), I added a few low quality renders under the spoiler button. --//Private Log Begin. Date: 2006(38)15. Scramble code: None.//-- *Sigh*, this is my first private log since arriving in the 'Gates. Now, I generally consider myself a pretty level-headed guy, most problems can be fixed with some smart thinking, a mech suit and a few building bots. But seriously. I hate Guinevere. The whole planet is a big heap of sand and dirt, and the little places that aren't are instead covered with fire- and lava-spewing volcanoes. Sure, those biologist wimps say that the "bio-life is really interesting here, we can learn a lot from it!", but seriously guys, who are you trying to kid? We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Guinevere's extremely rich Gold veins. Now, on top of the environment in general being among the s*ckiest imaginable, there are all sorts of things trying to kill us here, ranging from sand worms to M.A.N.T.I.S. to whatever other godforsaken thing you can imagine wanting to kill you. And then there are the Fire Wasps. [Attached: Video.of.Fire.Wasp.Being.Born.ahqv] Seriously, these things are like the unholy offspring of fire and death itself. They are born from eggs which their mothers lay in volcanoes, godd*mnit! If that doesn't make you sh*t your pants, consider that they are around 8 meters tall, have an absurdly strong exoskeleton (it has some sort of nanotube-like structure, which is the main reason why the fire wasps have managed to grow so big while still having exoskeletons), AND have a burning core in their tail, making them both almost completely fire resistant (including our laser weapons) plus having the ability to shoot fire/lava instead of poison from their stingers. At least the fire wasps mainly eat sulphur based creatures, so we aren't seen as food (yet). However, they are extremely territorial, so as soon as we get anywhere close to their nests (which is basically within a couple of kilometers... they have really good hearing/sensing)), they start attacking fiercely in large groups. God, I really wish we could get off this planet soon. Q, out. --//Private Log End. Signature: Q. Scramble code: None.//-- Thanks for reading/looking, C&C always appreciated! More pictures/comments under the spoiler button!
  11. When Altonio De’Ran felt the world shake, surely he was dreaming. Unfortunately as the Kaliphlin Guardsman of Dompei--un’Erezhi (Town’s name translates to “Damp under the Lone Mountain” in ancient Kaliphlinese) looked out his window, the worst thing possible filled his vision. Erezhi was erupting. No, not erupting, exploding. The Lone Mountain had blown its top, and now fireballs were raining down on the three towns around her base. on Flickr He screamed to his leiutenent, but when he finally got out of the barracks, he could see the steady stream of people running for their lives. DSC_1461 by skaforhire, on Flickr Black, fiery rock was falling from the sky, the residence next door had already been hit by a large piece of the mountain. DSC_1468 by skaforhire, on Flickr He looked over to his left and saw at least one person who had been ended by the flying fire missiles. DSC_1459 by skaforhire, on Flickr And the world kept shaking. DSC_1457 by skaforhire, on Flickr To his right he saw a woman grasp her son. After placing a kiss on his head, in defeat she covered the boy’s face and said “Goodnight, sweet prince.” DSC_1462 by skaforhire, on Flickr Then the ash came. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- It was said that the mountain shook for two days, and the lands bordering the Southern Ocean felt the earth cry out for three more nights before she washed away her pain in a great wave that devastated the coast. Although the devastation was enormous, Kaliphlin’s sorrow was just beginning. trustnobody by skaforhire, on Flickr edit by skaforhire, on Flickr
