Together we could bring back LEGO Avatar: The Last Airbender sets in 2020/21
RavaLamp posted a topic in LEGO Licensed
Flameo my fellow Avatar fans, I’m a huge fan of ATLA and I need your help. Recently I have submitted a project on LEGO IDEAS, it's the Spirit Oasis from Avatar: The Last Airbender. As you might know LEGO IDEAS is a website which allows users to submit ideas for Lego products to be turned into potential sets. So If my project reaches 10.000 supporters it may become an official LEGO Product. Many Avatar Fans including me would love to purchase another LEGO ATLA Set since the original sets from 2006 are not available anymore. Check out my project: The Spirit Oasis Project on LEGO IDEAS All you need to do is press the support button and create a free LEGO Account if necessary. Thanks a lot, Every supporter counts!- 4 replies

Ryu Wakimoto made wonderfull Orrery with Earth tilt, see: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-9044/sidebook/planet-orrery/#bi I have modified it slightly: removed cover of the stand to show internal gears, added shining Sun and other small changes. And I have made instructions with some details about function and real motion of planet and moon. Orrery was already tested in astronomical learning group for kids at observatory in my city. Kids enjoyed it a lot. A shining Sun is a huge source of learning and fun. Maybe a lot of you have seen orrery by JKBrickworks. This one has a huge improvement: Earth rotation axis is tilted. Therefore following features can be shown using this orrery: Orrery simulates: 1, Sun rotation, 2, Earth orbit, 3, Earth rotation, 4, tilt of Earth axis 5, Moon orbit, 6, Moon rotation. A rotating Sun can be used to show rotation of Sun. A shining Sun can be used to show phases of moon, illumination of Earth during seasons, polar day/night, lunar or solar eclipse. Either motor or hand can be used to rotate orrery. Model deficiencies: Moon eclipse comes every single orbit of moon due to limited size of the model. New moon always cause solar eclipse due to limited size of the model. Sun rotation is independent on latitude. All source files (even for instructions) are at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jsgn7lhblmgi4ja/AADIiNpdXUFmLksekZUZMmIPa?dl=0 You can take a look at this lousy video: Instructions should be mostly OK, but I would be happy if someone other will build it and tell me about problems or caveeats. I wanted to create some different areas based on the four elements represented by the four main elves, I've mixed parts from all kinds of different sets to create these places. This one is the earth themed home for Farran the Earth Elf. I wanted it to be part cottage, part treehouse. It's mostly parts from The Elves Treetop Hideaway and the Ewok Village sets. I attached my waterfall cave alongside the treehouse I also made a fire themed volcano cave with a tall treehouse/tower neighbouring it. It's mostly made from a Lego Friends set that has a cabin and a waterfall. I kept the cabin and built the tower above it and changed the waterfall into a volcano. I've created a workshop for the Air Elf Aira in one section of the tower with a bedroom above it, an observing platform with a telescope above that and a turret room on the top. The webisodes show that Azari the fire elf is homeless and just crashes with the other elves, but I've given her a warm place to sleep inside the volcano. I kept the camp beds in the cabin for the humans to sleep in when they visit Elvendale. And here's some random pictures..

Hello together, I have build a LEGO world map for our living room. Maybe you find it interesting. You can find a detailled description with images on mocpages and on my blog. I would really like to hear your feedback!

Ahoy! I'm sharing with you today (In the Historic forums, which is really out of character for me!) a Middle Earth contest creation that I built for the Middle Earth Lego Olympics (2014-2015) on Mocpages. For Round 1, we were asked to build a creation inspired by one song from LotR/Hobbit, and I chose to build my rather abstract creation based on which you should please listen to while you are viewing this creation. The build depicts Gollum having acquired the One Ring by strangling his cousin for it, and then being enveloped in the darkness that lives inside the ring. Build Time: 2.5 Hours Enjoy! ~Nemo

Bilbo, stumbling in the dark, evades the creature Gollum and his blood-curdling screames for his "precious", while above, the Dwarves fight their way through the Goblin hordes.

With Sauron and the Ring destroyed, the Elves of Mirkwood have found a new pastime, instead of slaying Orcs.

Well. New site, first MOC. Let's get this ball rolling. :) LINK

The Low Altitude Stealth Hovership (LASH) was designed by the Allied Nations to scout out other planets. The craft is equipped with guns and hoverfoils on either side. This photo do NOT do it justice! Neither does this one. Or even this one! Feedback is-as always-appreciated.
