  1. Hi, guys! I know that, there is February yet and we're before March release, but let's start new topic! So, at first I want to say that 2023 wave is amazing. New brand, new mudguards, new windscreens! Whoah! And there are my speculation/cars I want to see in Speed Champions 2024: ~ Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 ~ Porsche Taycan ~ Audi e-tron GT ~ BMW M6 ~ BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M3 1991 ~ Ferrari 499p LMH ~ Ford Focus RS 2021 ~ Honda Civic Type R ~ Cadillac LMDH What do you think about my cars? What cars would you like to see? Show your speculation/wishlist.
  2. ...when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of LEGO Star Wars Sets danced in their heads; My MOC shows a typical scene that happened every year - at least in my childhood. It is often said: "The greatest pleasure lies in the anticipation", which was also true for me. Usually I wished for one of the bigger starships from LEGO Star Wars for Christmas, like a Millenium Falcon, spent weeks dreaming of getting this set as a gift and how I would build it with my sister in our living room. P.S.: Can you spot all the easter eggs? 3. Hi Here is my dream Porsche. It features and combines 3 of my favorite things of Porsche: The front V8 TT engine and front bumper of Panamera Turbo S The 911 shape The RSR look and feel The result is this. Hope you (and judges ) like it Features. 1:10 Scale RWD and Fake V8 engine 4 Speed Gearbox with remote stick Independent suspension in the 4 wheels Working Steering Wheel (No HOG) Openable hood and doors (With lock system) Adjustable seats with gears Big Spoiler (Like the RSR models) Miscellaneous things like hand bag, lights etc. *Surprise feature* Removable V8 engine and transmission like a car About the last feature, well, I'll show it later in another pics and video. (I haven't had time to take more pics) Here are the pics of the last feature Making this function was the most difficult of the model, because it must be work smooth in every gear and I must find the proper joint points in the gearbox to the chassis. Also it must be easy to remove without bending or forcing the rest of the car. After many tests, I achieved it. More pics of the car This photo scream for the bigger Steering wheel (Sadly I don't have it yet) More pics and video will come soon The full gallery https://www.flickr.com/photos/137229326@N08/albums/72157668154949314 Video. The car was completed some days ago, but I decided to post it as my 100 post here, in the greatest Lego community
  4. LEGO MOVIE DREAM TREE HOUSE Nature is awesome and beautiful. We should protect natural environment and conserve resources. I have an idea to build "Dream Tree House" using with nature elements (tree,plants,cloud,rainbow...) and LEGO MOVIE 2 characters. Build the Tree House dreamly as neutral, rural scenery and peaceful. You can find details (piano, bookshelf,TV,kitchen, swing, elevator) to fullfil in the Tree House for fun. I build this creation to support HKLUG LEGO MOVIE 2 Competition. Everything is Awesome!! 5. I saw a topic like this on a Transformers forum I frequent, and I think it might be a good thing to have here as discussion. The question is what are your grail, dream, and regret sets and/or parts. Here's what each thing means. Holy Grail: A set that exists, and that you want to add to your collection, but have not been able to acquire due to rarity or other reasons. Or, a set you desired for a long time, but have since acquired. For example, mint in box 8880, a particular variant of a set, etc. Dream set/part: This is a thing that does not exist, but you would very much want. Example: a particular replica set, a machine/vehicle that has not been made in Technic, parts that have not been produced in a particular color, etc. Regret: Can be any regret, be it buying a set, not buying a set, selling it, passing up on it in stores, anything. I'll start with mine. Holy Grail: At this stage in my life, I am more interested in parts rather than sets, although I have found that for certain parts, it is better to buy a used set then buy the parts individually. For the longest time, I wanted to get one of the RC sets that include the buggy motors, and still kicked myself for not buying one when they were on shelves. But, I persevered, and finally got the sets. One of my big things was not following up on somebody local who had them for sale, and that bugged me for so long. Then, it was some particular pneumatics parts, but I got lucky there to. Dream Set/Part: I could fill literal pages with this stuff, as there is so much I want that does not exist. As a short answer, I'd really like gray or black pneumatic cylinders, and an 8x8 Mercedes Zetros with a crane, and full suspension. There is certainly more, but this is what I'm putting in for now. Oh, and how about a 9 axle crane set with x outriggers, at 42009 scale? Regret: I have a few. Not getting the RC sets when new. Not following up on somebody local who had some. Not getting 8275. Not getting 8455, even though I did get 8454. I'm sure there are others, these are just the ones I remember most. I haven't ever sold any Technic set, or regretted buying one. So, those are mine. What are yours?
  6. Good Day ! Finally got to dissasemble my 8649 and wanted to use all the beautiful lime parts for something. While searching for inspiration, I found this video about how canopies could save lives in F1 racing. After that the decision was done , I must make an open-wheel racer with canopy. Horrible driving because for not overloading the receiver I connected an m-motor with worm drive to a 9v switch , which controls the Buggy Motor (what else can be used in a race car) . The system works well apart from the fact that braking is very difficult due to slow feedback. I definetly will get a 3rd party bluetooth receiver soon, because I love using the buggy motor in my mocs. In the exterior design part , a book about F1 came very handy. I fell in love with the old panels while building this car, they are so cool For the power source, I used a 2000mah 9v battery with my custom adapter. As for the functions , I got : Working steering wheel Openable canopy Working front lights Sorry for bad quality photos , my "studio" is too small for this car and the ones that I took outside were really bad.
