    MOC Bat-All Terrain Vehicle

MOC Bat-All Terrain Vehicle This is my latest MOC, a cross between a 66' Batmobile and a Tank. I was trying to think of a way to incorporate tracks with suspension that I had designed. I looked at the 66' Batmobile I had built and thought that would be an interesting project. The tracked suspension is full independent on both sides and works great. I've added all sorts of launchers and equipment, so now the villains of Gotham City have no where to hide. The storyline for the existence of the vehicle goes thus: “It’s 1968 and Bruce Wayne decides that he needs an extra vehicle to help control the villains of Gotham City. He contacts his friends at Gotham City Engineering and asks them to build him a new vehicle loosely based on the 1966 Batmobile but a major feature has to be its all-terrain capabilities.” Let me know what you think. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87749

    Custom Batmobile Tron Style

Here is my custom Batmobile using a black, grey and transparent light blue color scheme. Built it similar to the current LEGO Batmobile seen in the Batman Be-Leaguered special. Had to design a different frame to accommodate the balloon tires. Also added storage for Batarangs and a larger rear missile area. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15876923756/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15716678659/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15902089852/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15715442660/ Thanks for looking. Bane Tumbler MOC

Here's my newest MOC: Bane's Tumbler, with the extending missile launcher. Also comes with a Batpod with Catwoman. The Batpod's wheels can actually spin side to side, replicating the Batpod's unique turning technique. !You can support it on Lego Ideas.... https://ideas.lego.com/projects/77234 Thanks for looking!

    66 Batmobile (LB3 MOC)

So after seeing the the Comic-Con footage of Lego Batman 3 I decided to recreate the 66 Batmobile in LDD. It was a long process of going through footage to discern the wide variety of pieces used in the build. The middle section was a bit harder to put together as there wasn't a lot of footage of that section being built (Plus the red chasis being used as a base was a bit of a surprise). As you can see it's not completely accurate to the game. Right off the bat the gold grille is not held in the same way, but that's because LDD won't let the clip hold the grille. Also colors don't completely match, especially the greys. Trying to differenciate shades of grey is annoying, so it's not perfect. Fortunately all the varying shades of grey are in the inside where it can't be seen on the renders. And the back! At some point I will actually have a physical model rather than just a render. In fact I'm halfway done with building it with real bricks. But it'll be a while still before it's done. The two red chasis were hard to find and I literally had to order them from another country. Interestingly enough all the pieces needed to build this actually exist with one notable exception. Unfortunately that size of mudguard doesn't come in red as of now, so it will be black on the physical model I'm building. So at some point I'll update this thread with pictures of it in the flesh, until then enjoy these poorly lit renders (It takes forever for my computer to render and I'm not going to fix my lighting mistake).

    1966 Lego Batmobile

MOC Presentation I am huge Batman fan and have passed that love to my 4 year old daughter. I have been building LEGO sets with her for some time now her favorite sets are TMNT, Friends & Batman. She was upset that the store bought Batmobiles did not allow Robin to sit in the Batmobile along side Batman. Therefore i made her the most iconic Batmobile, the 1966 version. This era Batman is fun and campy perfect for a four year old. I collected pieces for my build over a month. I dug through my childhood collection, picked bricks from "Classic Plastic Bricks in Ellicott City, pulled some pieces off my other Batmobiles and ordered parts off brick link to complete the build. The construction took about a week with many revisions specifically to the length of the vehicle. It was all guess and check I did not have any plans other than what was in my head Please support my 1966 Adam West LEGO Batmobile on the 'LEGOIdeas' Website. We have nearly 5,000 votes but need your help to reach our goal of 10K. Thank you for your consideration! Sam https://ideas.lego.com/projects/61339

My attempt at a 1966 Batmobile

My Batmobile MOC I've created a Lego Ideas 1966 TV Batmobile including Bat Boat,Trailer and Batcopter. I came up with the idea of creating the Batmobile when I was looking for something to create using Lego Creator software, being a fan of the show I happen to have a diecast model of the Batmobile on my shelf. It is such an iconic TV vehicle probably the first non human TV star. The bricks that made the Batmobile work for me where the wheel arches, the arches in the centre of the car, the rear slopes and the nose brick at the front. The nose brick was particularly difficult to find in black, I eventually found it in a promotional Lego bag for Shell. I had no idea how popular batmobile MOC's were since I've only got back into Lego about 6 months ago. I later added the Bat Boat and trailer. I've also designed the Batcopter although that is just a computer design at the moment. I came up with this: Any comments much appreciated. Changed the rear fins and the windshields Please take a look. See Link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/70489
  8. I recreated the SDCC 1966 Batmobile from the one picture that is available, and than extended it to it's proper size. The included figs are the ones from the Juniors set. I have no clue what the real back looks like, so I guessed... if anyone has it could they please take a shot of the back of the model? Thanks in advance! I'm 99% sure Batman and Robin will fit... the cape won't allow me to put them in their spots in LDD. LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1406164535m.lxf What do you think?

    New Member and Lego Fan

I've just got back into Lego after many years, I find it very relaxing, apart from when you stand on it. I've created a Lego Ideas 66 TV Batmobile including Bat Boat and Trailer. See Link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/70489. Any support would be much appreciated. Best wishes to everyone on this forum.
  10. Greetings all! Recenty son got a Youtube channel and he has uploaded several videos since then. This one is about two custom Batmobile Tumblers made by him-except one of them is a MOD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rT39ohqLgo Pleaselike, comment and subscribe- Feel free to add any C&C!

    MOD: Bat-Ecto-1

When there's something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? BATMAN! Bat-Ecto-1 by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr In order to allow Batman to fight ghosts, I have modified the Ecto-1 to look like the Batmobile that Adam West drove in the 60's. It has the same black and red color scheme and features the Batman logo on the side instead of the Ghostbusters one. Bat-Ecto-1 side by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And in the back, there is the obligatory jet exhaust again, plus those two black boxes that are next to it, whatever they are which contain the parachutes. Bat-Ecto-1 back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr As always, comments and criticisms are welcome. To the Bat-Ecto!

    MOD: Bat-DeLorean

Robin: "Jumping Jigowatts, Batman! Are you telling me that you built a Batmobile... out of a DeLorean time machine?" Batman: "The way I see it, if you're gonna to build a time machine into a Batmobile, why not do it with some style." Bat-DeLorean by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr This is an idea I had a while ago, but I didn't have time to build it with real bricks, so I did it in LDD instead. Apparently it traveled back in time to the wild west, before Gotham City was founded. Bat-DeLorean side by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Aside from changing the colors, I didn't really do much. I only switched out the exhausts for bat wings, added the obligatory jet exhaust, and smoothed out the hood a bit. Bat-DeLorean back by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions for improvements in the comments. I might do an Ecto-1 Batmobile next. Thanks for your time. See what I did there?
  13. Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004 "Yes Mr. Wayne, it now comes in white" Inspired by the Tumbler and LEGO set 76000, I set out to design a 2 seaters minifig scale Arctic Tumbler. Afterall, it only makes sense if Batman would change the color of his vehicle to blend better with the mission surroundings, since he has changed his outfit appropriately. Arctic Tumbler comes equipped with 2 twin runners blades, 2 fully functional treads & tracks, rear afterburner and 2 front flamethrowers! The base design of this tumbler is of course similar to my other tumbler projects. We can't have Batman without his trusty partner Robin, fashioned after the popular LEGO Batman 2 video game! I've changed the yellow on the insignia and utility belt to gray, so as to match Batman's outfit better. I've initially considered designing Batman's suit to resemble Nolan's Dark Knight version, but did not pursue the concept further as robin does not have a similar version to reference after, hence it wouldn't be coherent. Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66004

We will need it." - Bane The Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan gave us a fresh and realistic reboot of the Caped Crusader, and with it many of Batman's iconic vehicles. These are my renditions of the Tumblers in camouflage versions, reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can. The base design of these of course are similar to my Tumbler and Bat Pod project. Each Tumbler measures about 19cm(L) x 12cm(W) All three versions have been faithfully recreated: The original Camo Tumbler, the Tumbler with a Turret/Cannon and the Tumbler with a Missile Launcher. In this case, only the original Camo Tumbler can be a 2 seater as the other 2 versions both have a weapon occupying the space where the passenger seat will be. Both the Turret and the Missile Launcher can be retracted to an inactive position. The set can be launched as a single camouflage tumbler with additional parts for the other 2 alternate builds. The set can also include different variations of Bane's outfits as seen in the movie. Now a Lego Ideas Project! Please Support by voting at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/65675
  15. Hi Everyone, I would like to present my latest version of the Batcave I've been building for some time. As I'm planning to upload the instructions for all the bat vehicles (and one nightwing bike) feel free to tell me wich one would you like to get first.

    MOC: Arkham Knight Batmobile

Arkham Knight Batmobile Batman’s new epic ride from the upcoming game Batman: Arkham Knight This vehicle was built as a contest entry for Fig-Nation’s Arkham Knight Batmobile ‘Contest’over on Flickr. Anyone interested should get building, since the submission date is April 15th, and you could win a cool (pun-intended) Arkham City styled custom printed Mr. Freeze Minifigure. Anyways, this was a rather fun build for me since I normally don’t build vehicles—especially Batmobiles. Personally I feel the community is flooded with those, along with Batcaves and Halls of Armor, so I try to avoid building those things. Nonetheless, I’m very happy with the outcome—this thing just looks mean! Enjoy ~Nemo
  17. MEANWHILE... In Gotham City... OOPS!!! I just noticed the links to my project stopped working after Lego CUUSOO changed to Lego Ideas. Man that's a bunch of time I've lost collecting supporters. So, I've fixed the problem! Click HERE! So if you like my project, please follow the link and give it your support. The project is doing great, but still needs a lot of votes! I'm happy to anounce that I consider my Batmobile (dis)playset finished and that it's aproved on Cuusoo/Lego-ideas. If you like you can vote for it on Cuusoo by clicking right HERE! I present to you 'The Cartboard Crusaders' A random 1966 Batmanscene in GothamCity invcluding the Batmobile, to Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television series that's coming up... Description: The car is relatively small with it's 7 stud wide build-up, yet big enough to hold 2 minifigures. Those figures can be placed and removed without taking off any part. I build this car with loads of playfeatures the original car also had: Atomic Turbine Engine, Bat-Radar, Rocketlaunchers, opening decklid to reveal the Mobile Crime Computer, Bat-shutes, Chainslicer in the nose, as well as a Bat-a-Ram, Aluminum dashboards, and last but not least, the Bat-Phone. Many have followed the Batmobile here on Eurobricks but haven't seen the newly finished display scenery. So here goes: The backdrop. (a short story) I picked a scene I instantly remember when reminiscing about the show: Batman and Robin walking the walls vertical yet very horizontal, in kind of a creepy very close together choreographed manner... But that's what made the show so fun to watch. Always a citizen in an open window. This time it's the beautifull Catwoman. Or is it... It happens to be a mannequin disguised as Catwoman to lure our Caped Crusaders into the Jokers trap. The Joker is standing on top of the building ready to cut the line... Because of this fake building (in this MOC, and in the tv series) I gave this project the name: 'Cartboard Crusaders'. So here it is. The one and only Batmobile. Let's take a look at some of the details... I've tried to cram as much in as possible: But I think this is the best part: It's fits two minifigs side by side which can be taken out of and put back in without taking off any part of the car. And I think the 7 stud wide size is perfect for minifig/city/town/modular-scale. Now all you have to do is VOTE on cuusoo, because you know you want it to be available in an official exclusive collectorsbox! Thanks in advance. And if you don't..? Well, Look what's bound to happen to mr. Joker... Please make a childhooddream come true and vote for my Batmobile HERE!

Please Support by voting at: Tumbler & Bat Pod LEGO Ideas Page The Bat LEGO Ideas Page Updated the Cover image for my Cuusoo Page to include the Minifigs Added the Minifigures that can be included with the set, designed to be movie accurate of course. From Left to Right: Lt. James Gordon, Henri Ducard, Batman Begins Suit, Ra's al Ghul, Joker, Scarecrow & Two Face From Left to Right: Selina Kyle, Dark Knight Suit, Lucius Fox, Merinda Tate & John Blake These are my renditions of the Tumbler, Bat Pod & The Bat reproduce with lego bricks in 2 seaters minifig scale and staying as close to the original movie design as best I can.It was great challenge building a movie accurate Tumbler as many of the surfaces are angled, not particularly easy with lego bricks that generally connects at right angle. It was even more challenging to build a movie accurate Bat Pod in minifig scale, as the original vehicle was designed to fit a normal human proportion!Tumbler measures at 19cm(L) x 12cm(W)Bat Pod measures at 16cm(L) x 4cm(W)The Bat measures about 31cm(L)x20cm(W)x13cm(H) This is by far the hardest to build among all 3 Dark Knight vehicles due to its front heavy structure and angular design, not to mention overly complicated flaps and rudders system. The interior of Tumbler & The Bat fits 2 minifigs sitting upright. Original vehicles designs and proportions recreated in minifig scale. Every vehicles details faithfully replicated and all flaps movable. Bat Pod comes with an EMP Gun holder and the wheels rotates. [MOC] 1966 Batmobile

UPDATE 19th of August: Got instructions finished for this creation, you can get them for free on my blog: http://brickmasta.sinful.at/1966-batmobile-pdf-instruction/ ------------------------- After seeing B Ricks interpretation of the 1966 classic Batmobile from the legendary TV show I decided to give it a try and build one too 1966 Batmobile by Brickmasta on Flickr Appreciate your feedback and comments!
  22. ^ Here's my interpretation of the 1966 Batmobile. As you see the contrasting color is limegreen. That's because of my lack of new bricks in red. Maybe I'll change the green to a dark red in the future, but for now the green is cool enough for me. ;) ^ The car is based on the MonsterFighters Hearse. I used that headlight treatment, minifig placement, and overall build-up as a base and went from there. Made it longer, lower, and added some more Batmobile characteristics. I've tried to make it meaner and leaner, lower and slower. Kind of a hotrod rod/custom attitude. Hope you'll like it. So, there you have it. My first official MOC, in my first official Forum-post. (besides my introduction ;) Feel free to comment and critisise.

    [MOC] 1989 Batmobile

Hello!! this is my Fav Bat Car ever, from Tim Burton Movies I know its not the Perfect replica, but capture most of iconic details :)
  24. Hey guys. Here is my very first post on Eurobricks. It is about the set 6864 The Batmobile And The Two Face Chase. When I first got this set, it was by mail. I found myself a HUGE box for the whole set. It's actually pretty awesome. Now, I didn't get to do an unboxing, so I'm just going to do a review. First off this set contains 531 pieces, 5 minifigures, and it costed about $50. But $50 for a box this big is so worth it! The set contains 4 numbered bags and 2 instruction books. Here the minifigs are all together. ( from left to right: Guard, Batman, Henchman #1, Henchman #2, Two-Face ) Here is the safe. Much like the money inside it, it is green. Here is the epic Batmobile and down there is the two-colored armored truck. This was built with bags #1 and #2. This is the bag #3 build. This bank was built with bag #4. Guard: Come on. Let's move it. Two-Face: LET ME GO! @#$#%#$! Batman: Colorful language will get you nowhere, you criminal scum. Here, Two-Face steals the safe on his two-colored armor truck. Here is the missile shooter. Red is a great choice of color for the tips of these missiles, isn't it? However ( below ) it seems that these missiles are uncoordinated. Batman: Seriously? Two-Face: DANG IT!! Here's Two-Face's little coin. ( It has a decal printed on it, but my cruddy camera wasn't able to show it. ) The two images below Batman in front of his Batmobile, then inside his Batmobile. Below are the missiles of the Batmobile. Transparent orange is a pretty good color as well, right? Sorry, the correct answer was "Not as much". The front-and-side views of the exhaust flames: Let's see the front view of the bank...: ....and the inside: ...then there's the side of the bank....: ....the side of the bank has this switch. Let's see what it does: and *POP!* goes the windows, enabling Two-Face to steal the safe! This set also contains a brick seperator! It was very useful for building the Batmobile. OVERALL: 12.5/15 Minifigures: 4/5 The minifigures were pretty awesome, and I liked the Two-Face minifigure, but I really think that the original 2006 Two-Face is better. Build: 4/5 Good for a need for many black and beige pieces. However the build for Two-Face's truck was not as great as the 2006 build only because of its coloring. This is orange-and-purple, meanwhile the 2006 build is grey-and-white. I did not have trouble applying the sticker decals. But when I opened the box for Bag #4, I found that the big grey plate was a little bent. Pricing: 4.5/5 The price, $50, is pretty reasonable for a set with a box as big as this! But the bags, instructions, and stickers, however, could fit in a slightly smaller box. I also think that splitting the instructions into two parts was a good idea because I think that printing it all as one book would have made the entire set cost more. That's all for now!
