    76901 Alternatives

Its been a while i stopped posting on eurobricks because of lack of time. But i decided to return with a quick overview of what i done with 76901 for the past month and a half. So here are some of my latest alternatives for the set: My 12th alt for 76901 was a Toyota GT86. Instructions: https://reb.li/m/105081 2. 13th alternative for set 76901- an another American Muscle - Dodge Challenger! Instructions:https://reb.li/m/108672 And 14th alt i made - a Mazda Miata MX5 (my fav of this three cause it looks very cute and i think i really got this cuteness of the real thing) Instructions:https://reb.li/m/112197 Now i'm working on my 15th alt for the set and while its not released i would like to hear your thoughts about other models! 15. Hello everyone, this is my C-model for set 9393. It was created for [TC5] Technic C-Model Contest. I've used 343 parts out of 362 (including spare parts). It is a pickup truck with dump cargo bed with V4 engine under the hood. There were high demands from the client (my 4 years old son) on the functionality. Features: HOG + steering wheel (working simultaneously) opening doors (simple "lock" - half of the axle 4 fits in the door case - a small force has to be applied) opening hood (simple "lock" - beam 2x4 is locked by cross block 1x3 - a small force has to be applied) opening cargo bed soft chassis to simulate independent suspension 2nd HOG for dumping cargo bed and/or rotating axle for attachable accessories (disable dumping by shifting gear 8 aside from the worm gear) large attachable winch special "parking feature" for overcrowded cities :-) HOG + steering wheel, doors, hood and cargo bed opening Soft chassis Dumping cargo bed Attachable accessories And finally - smart parking :-) additional info on my web pages: http://lego.vanecek....del=9393-pickup pet

    Ilyabuilder724's Speed Champions MOC space

So i decided not to only post my technic builds here on Eurobricks and post my Speed Champions alternatives too. I have a quite big experience of building alternatives from Speed Champions sets and i try not to build some random cars or non-existing ones. So yeah basically all my latest alts are just one car built into another real car. Examples of my Alternatives: 76901 set alt Camaro 05: https://reb.li/m/91997 76901 set alt Plymouth Barracuda: https://reb.li/m/92424 76901 set alt Civic Ek9: https://reb.li/m/94340 I hope there will be something that can catch your eye. And if you like to see more you can visit my RB profile there are a lot of other old stuff (That is obviously is to old to be included here) See you next post (when new alt will be ready). And have a great day!

  18. This is an alternative build (C-model) inspired by the Peacemaker from Mad Max's Fury Road (2015 film) The instructions are 2 PDF files. The first, includes the steps to build the chassis (this is a replica of the car tank built and used for the movie) The second PDF includes the instructions on how to complete the model by building the bodywork. I included a mount base for display. Model is functional with or without the bodywork. I made an effort to make as realistic as possible and therefore the model is manual. i will upload versions of this using Power Functions and Control +, But I am working on other models for now. Instructions available at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-67431/A_Great_Builder/peacemaker-42069-c-model/#details Functions are: Full tracked independent suspension Central V8 engine Double differential steering "Hand of God" Turret (turns with engine's torque) Manual axle (to manually add torque to the system) Mount display Detachable bodywork PD. I made a YouTube video but it was one of my first videos ever and it's not as dynamic as my most recent video. Eventually I will create a shorter video once I have the motorized versions.
  19. Hi there! Recently rebuilding the official set 31203 [World Map] to [Map of Germany[! No extra part is required! All the parts are already included in the official set! 20. I built 2 pickup alternates from Creator Expert sets. The first one is from the 10265 Mustang set, and to keep within the theme and time period I decided to go for a Ford F100 from 1970. The model includes steering by HoG, opening bonnet, doors and tailgate, a detailed interior and engine. Once done I thought why not try to build a pickup model from the 10252 Volkswagen Beetle too? So that's just what I did with this vintage American pickup truck somewhere from the 1930's. It has similar features as the 10265 alternate except for the steering function, which was not possible. 21. Hello everybody! This is the first MOC I present on Eurobricks. My most popular MOC yet is the 3 speed auto gearbox (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-33711/lbrix/3-speed-auto-gearbox-overworked-version/?inventory=1#comments). But now to this gearbox: At first ask yourself this question: Which sense has a normal D-N-R gearbox in a manual technic car? It has no sense. It makes no difference if you are in the forward gear or in te reserve. But with this D-N-R gearbox it makes a difference, because if you are in the forward gear, you can not push the car backward and if you switch in the reserve gear, you can not push the car forward. If you want to build this gearbox into a technic car, you have to connect the grey connectors to the wheels and one of the black ones to the fake engine. For more information check out this MOC on rebrickable (maybe it is not approved yet): https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47985/lbrix/alternative-d-n-r-gearbox/?inventory=1#comments No I wanted to ask you, what you think about this D-N-R gearbox? Here is an video of my gearbox:
  22. Finally, I've finished designing the LEGO 10255 alternative build with a European Jazz Cafe theme. The instructions of this MOC are available now at Rebrickable. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-32576/InyongBricks/10255-assembly-square-alternative-build/#comments
  23. Hi all, This topic is for discussion of the new C-Model Index (under construction here), and for suggestions of C-Models for inclusion. I hope the index will help us all keep track of the great C-Models people have created, and in many cases, their instructions. I've managed to find a good collection to get started, but no doubt I will have missed some, so please tell me any you'd like to see added (or any mistakes/missing details/etc), and I'll add them in future updates. Rules for inclusion: Uses parts from only one set; That's about it! Where possible, I'll list details of EB topic, youtube video, instructions, and part count. Models detailed on EB are obviously favoured, but I've already come across one or two from elsewhere which I feel deserve to be included. They are listed in no particular order. Where individuals have listed their creations as C-Model, D-Model, etc, I have ignored this and called them all C-Models, because each designer's classification doesn't work when all compiled together. To keep this manageable, I'm going to try and release these in groups according to the original set. To start with, here's all the C-Models I have managed to round up for the set that got me out of my dark age - and perhaps its no surprise, given the sheer number of useful parts: [EDIT: moved 42009 into the index.] Hope this is useful - suggestions welcome. Jo
  24. Hi, I would like to present my next C-MODEL model. This time it is made from 42025 (cargo plane) SAILPLANE GLIDER Designed completely computer-free method. Just building, un-building, rebuilding. It took me over the year. But I had few periods when I did not touch it for several months or many weeks. For now, there is only very few pictures, you can call it a teaser. Video showing details and functions, complete description, and many pictures will come soon. Features: COMPLETE FLIGHT CONTROLS -working ailerons (controlled by the stick in the cockpit) -working elevators (controlled by the stick in the cockpit) -working rudder (controlled by the working pedals in the cockpit) -working flaps (controlled by the lever in the cockpit) -fully retractable landing gear (1 central wheel) (controlled by the knob on the side) -fully open-able and close-able landing gear bay (controlled by the lever under the fuselage) -open-able canopy (controlled by the lever on the side under the wings) - correct T shape tail - only 7 studs wide fuselage! - only 2 studs thick wings! - winglets - tail wheel. - structurally sound and rigid, wings are somewhat flexible (but still very playable) but I guess it is only accurate: No motorized functions - I thought it would be odd to put motor into something that is by definition motor/engineless - (I know there are self propelled sailplanes, but this one is not it) It is totally full, very packed and dense MOC. It is not a simple build. It assumes the builder is experienced technicman/technicwoman. It is huge - see with 42055 as reference: I hope you like it. More to come "hopefully" soon. _________________ edit 2: Video: _________________ edit 1: Photos added: leftover parts: February 2017 state: ______________________________ I hope you like it. Thank you for your time seeing the pictures.
