Mission: Blacktron Tags, Kawashita, Spaceship Since Raven's return the orders for everyone have come fast and furious. We need to zero in on who attempted to kill her and create chaos in Kawashita. My reign as CEO will come to end soon enough. Once Raven is back to work full time and ready to assume the roll as CEO I'll be doing what I always do, making bank and blowing stuff up. I know she will send us on a mission to take out those responsible. The only way to get close is to not look Kawashita. Hence my buying up another old ship for my fun.

Hello, today I show you my latest build, a middle class tank decked up in Futuron livery: the "White Tiger". This medium-class tank features 2 middle-range surface-to-air guns, a rotating turret and a crew of three (the commander, the driver and the gunner). The nick name is a tribute to the invincible german "White Tiger" from WWII. Below the "Tiger" at the maintenance bay where Classic Space men are fixing and refueling it before a mission. On the right close to the door the Futuron crew. Futuron* was a peaceful and friendly population. Their ground vehicles and spacecrafts were designed to explore new planets and new dimensions indeed. But something is changing: a black menace is coming from the deep space, its name is Blacktron. The black men want to attack the Futuron people probably to steal the sought after and valued Monorail. To prevent the Blacktron attack this new armored vehicle is ready to fire. Below in plain sight. Will the "Tiger" be able to destroy the black menace? I hope you ike it. Cheers! *Futuron was a subtheme of LEGO Space released between 1987 and 1990 to replace Classic Space series.

Location: F03, Forring Tags: Spaceship, Military Building - -Welcome back to Forring Hawk. -Thanks General. I was just plotting out my next supply run. How can I help you? -Well, we are delaying your supply runs. We have a new assignment for you. Recently some of our armored scouts have gone missing on patrol. A few days ago one for them sent out a distress call with coordinates before loosing contact. We want you to investigate. -Sounds dangerous. Do we have any idea what took these scouts out? What will I be flying. The only ship on this outpost is the Turkey Mk2. -We don't know what took them out. Your shuttle will be enough. We will be assigning a group of special forces to be working with you. I would like to introduce you to Captain Mira. She will brief you on the mission. - -I'm glad I finally get to meet you Hawk. I have heard much about you. We will have 4 spec ops soldiers with us and we will start our search at these coordinates. Are you ready to go? -I just have a few questions. shouldn't we have a more backup then this. Something capable of taking out scout mechs should have no problem with a few spec ops. Couldn't we just send some unmanned drones? Plus an unarmed shuttle isn't the best choice for a situation like this. What if it is some kind of subterranean super predator? -Right now the mission is to observe and report. Our supplies have been cut a little short recently so this is all the soldiers we can spare at the moment. The CEO himself requested for you to go on this mission. We would never had any drones to do our work for us on Ice planet. - -Dont' worry Hawk. One MANTIS spec. ops. soldier is worth 100 of another corporations soldiers! It looks like your ship is unloaded and my soldiers are ready to go. We will meet you out on the landing pad. -Ok. I will be out there shortly. New MOC, total change of theme to go to a field I like, Space ! I decided to do some space MOCs because it's been a long time that I wanted to put some Blacktron 2's color scheme on a Peter Morris design. I have also done some modifications on it in particular on the reactors. So maybe it's more a MOD than a MOC So, this is the result : BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 BT2-SSH1 More pictures on my Flickr. Kawashita always needs to be looking for new angles, new resources, new tech, etc. Vollfort 2 by North White, on Flickr Today wasn't one of those days. Piloting Pathfinder -2 around basalt columns on Vollfort to scout for new resources proved fruitless for Captain Mesabi. Surveys revealed nothing but rock, dust, and dead critters. I can see that, but I think it looks more like a space whale, personally." Dr. Long: "No, I meant... Why the experimental ship instead of the O.T. Cog 1?" Bob: "Well, I was hoping the new ship would help take your mind off some of the... changes that have occurred on the Axle in your absence." Dr. Long: "Oh no." Bob: "The Cog line was put to rest. " Dr. Long: "But why? The line had a decade yet to go before it reached its built-in obsolescence date!" Bob: "Well, You were pretty much the only one who like them. A bunch of the researchers and pilots on the Axle wrote a petition to get on a rotating cycle of new shuttles instead of the Cogs, and Pombe signed off on it." Dr. Long: "That's... Disappointing." Bob: "I know you had some sentimental feelings for the Cog line, so I think I found you a fitting substitute shuttle." Dr. Long: "Oh?" Bob: "This one. If you like it, and it gets back off the ground again, and passes the safety regulations, this prototype is yours." Dr. Long: "Mine?" Bob: "Well, the company's, but we'd put it in your hangar... the one where the Cog 1 was held." Dr. Long: "That can't be proper protocol." "The Invasive Species" Part 1; "The Fecund Fruit Tree" "Those who live on the backs of others" The wings have to be removed to change between flight and landing mode, but if I wanted to scrifice form a little, I could have made it a pull pin. I chose removal because ultimately it looked better. Also, there should be a scorpion in this build too, but it either fell, or was occluded by the ship. I don't remember. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

[LDD Idea] Spinning Gyroscope

This contraption imitates a spinning gyroscope-like structure. The left axle is driven and the right axle is attached to the frame. When the left axle rotates the outer ring, the right axle transfers rotation in opposite direction through the series of gears to the middle ring. The same principle is used to transfer rotation to the inner ring. What do you think about this idea? Will it work? Unfortunately I don't have so many connectors #3 right now, so I can't reproduce it in reality. However, I tested this idea with only one ring, and it worked. The idea described above resulted in a project of a large Technic spaceship which is currently in a WIP state. Updates: -

Setup specifically for Col. Brik, this simple ship can get him from the office to the landing pads quickly and safely.

Y Soser Hedfan by David Roberts, on Flickr Y Soser Hedfan translates into English as The Flying Saucer. It was used as a single-seat space racer, suitable for operating in planets' atmospheres and deep space. Millennia after alien space pirates had terrorised the galaxy in ships such as The Jaws of Death, their blue and yellow striped spacecraft were famous as some of the fastest space racers. These ships would race both in and out of planets' atmospheres at incredible speeds. In those days, men were real men, women were real women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri. The requirement for atmospheric performance led ships in this category to be streamlined and have lifting bodies and/or wings. Other examples included ships such as the Furias and the Tangerine Dream. This led to vessels being very smooth and free of the "greebles" much beloved of spaceship spotters, floating around in their zero-g anoraks. They had begun to adopt many of the spacemen's habits, including a love of tea and biscuits. Inevitably this led to the consumption of items such as rich teas, custard creams and even garibaldis in the cockpit. After a terrible crumb triggered pilot induced oscillation, it became normal to hoover out the pilot's position after each flight.This last photo shows a dejected Crumb Removal Operative (Vacuum 2nd Class), setting off for his second task of the day: cleaning out the stalls of the kidnapped cows. The high suction power of the hoovering machines often led to horrific accidents, with the mangled bovines being returned to Earth. FOURTH WALL This is the first MOC that I've posted onto Eurobricks. I think that I've read the various posting rules and tutorials but I've committed any faux pas, please do let me know.

Mission: Vintage Purchase Tags, Kawashita, Spaceship, Orinshi Brik, fresh off a bump to first executive, decides to spend some of the extra income on a vintage spaceship to restore to glory. "Sir, you are going to love this custom ship. It is a one off based on the #6980 Galaxy Commander." "It is nice, say, you look familiar? Like someone famous, is your name Benny? "No, but I get that a lot. I am much older than Benny" "As you can see, she is quite large. But I know you can afford it since you're Raven's XO now." "Very Impressive setup, walk me through the other items." "Sure, Front half, seating for four" "The back half is self sufficient and can sub orbit or be a ground base for operations, or just plain vacations." "It looks great, I'll take it" "You aren't going to paint it dark red and black, are you?" "No, just this once I'll keep the Kawashita colors off a ship I own." END Thanks for looking everyone, this is a older MOC I was saving for a "rainy day" and this being a holiday weekend in the states I thought it would be a good time to break it out and finally show it off. Here's my new Blacktron 1 MOC. The shape was loosely based on the 6781 Space Police 1 SP Striker. Does anyone know how to get Blacktron 1 minifig torso in LDD? Also I was looking for some older computer slopes and tiles, like from the classic, M-tron and ice planet era's.

The Belial is an advanced alien spaceship, inspired by Tibor Bedats. This one has been a slow burner...I had an enforced Lego break for over 2 years, but thankfully now I'm set up in my new house. Hope you enjoy!

Mission: The Fleet Tags: Kawashita, Spaceship, A08 Crentium After emergency surgery aboard a hospital ship Col. Brik is now stuck in a hover-chair as doctors determine how to move forward with his injuries at the hands of the Separatists. Learning that he is now 1st Executive and in charge of the entire corporation while Agent Raven is on leave Brik makes a investment in Kawashita's future by ordering his redshirts to build a new and improved fighter escort. Angry and full of revenge. Brik wants to make sure no Alien race ever brings harm to Kawashita again. "Sir, the fighters are ready to go. We are now calling it the "Conquest" class of fighters. Here is 001 for your inspection." "Very nice, redshirt 12, give me some details." "Yes sir, each Conquest has the ability to be customized by its pilot for each mission. For instance, the power pack and FTL setup is easily swapped in under a hour making maintenance a quick job. "Well, one fighter isn't going to protect the fleet and bring us glory and profit. Raven isn't going to be pleased with this." "Sir, we think she will be happy, let me roll out the 002-006 ships." "As you can see, sir, each pilot has outfitted his ship to his particular tastes, giving them each a unique look and capacity to fight." "I'm impressed, well done 12" "Each engine is setup to the pilots skill set and abilities. All of them are state of the art but each one is unique. Either quick fighting, long range bombing, silent running or generally all purpose." "Well done, well done. But a question, how do we afford this many ships?" "Sir, we thought of that also, may I present to you, for sale to any corporation, the "E-Conquest", the E is for entry level engine." "Don't worry sir, the engines are a very old design. Just a quick post to showcase a MOC I made earlier. The galactic adventurer, or galaxy explorer 2.0. It is based on the original classic space line from 1979, specifically the LL928 galaxy explorer. I wanted to have a beat up classic space ship that has seen a lot and is finally returning to the LEGO system to report it's finds. Impetus, ISV As a general rule, there is a rather conspicuous dislike toward ISVs and their captains. ISVs, or Independent Spacer's Vessels, are seen as relics of a bygone age, where space cowboys flew around the uncharted depths of space, discovering new planets and living for, well, independence. Today, there are only a few left, but they continue in that tradition of independence, with some using their freedom to engage in shady dealings, and others doing what they can to help those who cannot help themselves. And, of course, in their exploration of space, they occasionally run across aliens out to kill them, necessitating the occasional use of armaments... Just make sure you watch your back out there. Location: F04 Illustria Tags: MANTIS, spaceship, military Double D's log 43: MANTIS has been developing some new spaceships that are fast, highly maneuverable, and perfect for scouting or space combat. I was lucky to be able to try one of the new MAN-TI Fighters. ____________________________________________________________ My photo table is currently being occupied, and I don't like how these photos look. I'll get better photos of this before I take it apart though.
