I've finally decided to part ways with Bionicle (sorry Constraction Forum!!!). Maybe I'll get back into it if we ever get a G3, but for now, I'm selling all of my G1 sets. This is my creation base on a Mobile Suit (Gundam Barbatos) in the Gundam series named : "Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS". Hello fellow builders, I present you the Flying Dutchman, the infamous ghost ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, in LEGO! The idea came to me a year ago, while I was sitting at my desk when I cast me eyes upon the 3 official LEGO POTC ships on the top of my shelf: The Black Pearl, The Queen Anne's Revenge, and The Silent Mary. For years I had been waiting for LEGO to release a Flying Dutchman, but to no avail it never came out. Determined to build the ship myself, I embarked on an exciting, challenging but rewarding journey to produce a MOC which would take up its rightful place among my fleet and make it complete. I wanted to buy all parts for my first MOC on Bricklink and since i've never done this i wanted to ask You few questions. A. Firstly there are two sites on Bricklink to buy from Wanted list: 1. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/buy.page?utm_content=subnav 2. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/shop.page From this what i check second is better as You exactly see what parts are You missing and in what count, and is showing better prices when using autofinder, which do You use and why there are two diffrent sites? B. Do You buy bricks only from country in which You are living (because of lower costs of delivery)? Or from whole continent like Europe (from this what i see it is better option as You are able to buy all parts in most cases) Or You are just using option from anywhere, but delivery costs aren't too high in this option? C. Besides filters: -exclude disliked stores -exclude stores that do not ship to me It is worth to use any others? D. Are You buying in stores when total price is below min buy? E. Are You buying parts for MOCs from anyother pages, is it worth? Thanks for help!

Hi everyone I am in the process of sourcing parts to build a physical version of my Lego Ideas project, The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine. The model was constructed digitally and I used 2 torso pieces for my minifigs that I thought were suitable for the style and time period of my model. The figure on the left uses the Frodo Baggins torso from the Lord of The Rings Lego theme but I can't track down the tan coloured torso on the right. Does anyone recognise this or know which sets it has been featured in?

I would like the Mixels balljoint cup 1x2 plates, but with the cup rotated 90 degrees for greater movement freedom. I could also use 1x2 plate Mixels balljoint cup with the cup on top like 11458 and one with cup on bottom like 24201 or 18677. Mixel cup one end, jumbo cup other end. Mixel ball one end, jumbo ball other end. I would also like a 1x2 plate (or more) with studs on top and bottom (no clutch side). What would you more experienced Lego builders want?

Good evening, everyone, Since I promised you in the last topic to design more international models besides german models, today I would like to present you the model of the "Hall-Class 4900" of the "Great Western Railway" from Great Britain. The "Hall class 4900" were tender locomotives, which were built between 1924 and 1943. A total of 259 units were built and the locomotives were used for passenger and freight traffic. The locomotive with the railway number 5972 "Olton Hall" achieved special fame. It is the locomotive shown in the Harry Potter movies, which was specially repainted for this in the well-known red coloring. The model consists of approx. 1090 parts, is approx. 66 studs long and about 10 studs wide. A Power-Functions L-motor can be installed in the boiler. The IR-receiver and the battery box find comfortably place in the large tender. Most of the decals or printed components correspond to the original LEGO parts. Furthermore, the model is equipped with numerous striking details, such as the piping, the chassis or the detailed cabin. This model is also a little bit of a premiere, because for the first time not only LEGO standard components are used, but also railway wheels in XL and M by Big Ben Bricks. I also tried the Bricklink Part-Designer for the first time. Currently the manual is available in two different versions. One as GWR "Hall-Class 4900" in dark green and one as "Hogwarts Express" in known red. I hope that you like this version in particular, because there are already some versions, even directly from LEGO. Praise and criticism are very welcome. Good evening everyone, Today I would like to present another "international" model. This is the "NSB Type 49 - Dovregubben" of the Norwegian State Railway. It was built between 1935 and 1941 and was mainly used on the "Dovre-Railway", that´s the reason why the locomotive is also called "Dovregubben". The model consists of approx. 1020 individual parts, is 58 studs long and approx. 10 studs wide. It can be driven by two M-engines, one above the other in the boiler. The IR receiver is located in the cab and the battery box in the Vanderbilt tender. This model was developed from a former customer request and was a special challenge, since there are unfortunately only very few meaningful photographs or pictures in the Internet to find. Usually only black and white. Therefore we mainly used photos of a H0 model. Praise and criticism are very welcome. Kind regards Martin Further pictures in the flickr-folder or on our homepage

I am happy to announce that the radio play version of The Ideal Order (Second Edition) is now available as a podcast. The radio play was recorded with a group of talented actors here in Christchurch. The play consists of 12 episodes each of approximately 30 minutes. A new episode will be released every week on Friday. The Y-45 armored transport hauler, also known as AT hauler, built by Kuat Drive Yards and used for the Galactic Empire, with its very agressive and intimidating design, was a great Midi-scale challenge. Accurately Microfig-scaled (or trophy-scaled), and made of 623 pieces, this MOC features all the typical angles and details of the original cargo ship: agressive cockpit shape, intricate wing angles, lower bridge with its guard-rails and stairs, ion engines and magnetic clamps, holding on a single, secure Lego stand. Lego Food Mold Discussion and Ideas

So far I have seen topics on animals, disable minifigures, space sets and a new musical instrument topic. But I have yet to see one on food molds. I love the food molds. My favorite one is the pizza, which has been a staple food piece for ages. Recently, there have been a slew of other food pieces such as fruits, veggies and even bread pieces. But lemme know below what other food molds are out there or even give your ideas. Let's get this discussion up and running. -
Recently upgraded to Windows 10 and re-installed LDD. After resolving an unrelated error having to do with my graphics card, I succeeded in booting up the program and opened one of my old build files to discover that an incredibly large number of bricks (mostly ones with moving parts) were refusing to load. Additionally, three of the brick categories in the sidebar were displaying with a bugged icon and a handful more, including hats, heads, and handheld props, were missing entirely. Finally, numerous bricks from these and other categories has been randomly redistributed to incorrect categories, as seen in the minifig parts catagory here. I haven't yet determined whether all of the parts from the missing categories are still present. What's going on, and how do I fix it? I've already tried all the solutions in this thread, in the belief that it was about the same issue I'm experiencing, but in retrospect it's very likely that it isn't. -
Dear all, I'm new to lego design, starting from zero basically. I have an ambitious plan to make a large building I used to know. But I have quickly realised the hard part will be finding the parts, without the part number, but only from my description. I have already tried to find plants under signs, but can't find them there or anywhere, using LDD. What is the best tool to use for this? Is one programme or website better than others at this? Browsing through the LDD palette looks like it will take ages. I can think of pieces for such obscure purposes that I couldn't possibly name them! yours Robin -
