Hello Speed Champions and City fans, It was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3 and 4. It has received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-177592/_TLG_/school-bus I always loved American style school buses, therefore I decided to design one to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3. It is not actually based on a real one, but it contains many typical details: the black bumper rails and STOP arms on the sides, the crossing arm, the side and rear doors, the rearview and crossover mirrors, the mudguards, the warning lights etc.. The roof assembly can be removed as one piece and in this case the internal details are visible: there is a driver seat with steering wheel, dashboard, gear shift, passenger seats and even a fire extinguisher. It is 8 studs wide, studless build in minifigure scale and fits perfectly to Speed Champions cars or to a LEGO City. There are many working details: the front and rear doors, the STOP arms, the crossing arm and windshield wipers. I wanted to create a clean build and tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and hide unnecessary studs, therefore some tricky, but legal build techniques are used. The set includes three minifigures: a driver, a school girl with a pen and backpack and a school boy with a brick built backpack. The model has space for 17 minifigures: one driver and 16 passengers. If the passengers are kids with short, rigid legs, then they can stand on the seats. The building instructions guidelines have been followed. It is built from the palette "BDP Series 3", so there are some color and part restrictions. The color "Bright Light Orange" would be a bit more authentic, but the available parts are restricted, therefore I decided to use "Yellow" and I am satisfied with the result. The STOP sign is very rare part and it is not available in this palette, therefore it is replaced by a simple, white, circular sign with a sticker. The door 43967 is also not available in yellow, therefore it is replaced by a brick built one, however, in this case I was able to add some extra details: a black door handle, bottom window and red lights. Well 2024 LEGO Speed Champions released 2 last cars (F40 & NASCAR) so came time to discuss about 2025. Somewhere in internet I read LEGO go all in F1 cars in 2025. What's your thoughts?

After some work in my (not so much ) freetime, I almost finished my project for a F1 racetrack with paddocks. I started to work on it some months ago, due to I like F1 and motorsports and I was partially inspired by old LEGO sets I played with when I was a child. First design idea was based on old road plates, but I cannot find a plate that really matched my idea and needs. So I decided to move on to new LEGO modular roads and I think it was a very good choice: they gave you ability to reach high details level. I was able to reproduce racetrack start line, cars positioning lines, pit lane markers and so on. In addiction to it I was able to add studs on pitlane so you can attach mechanics minifigs. The top section of each team-box can be detached easily and can be swapped togheter as you prefer. I designed some race commentary rooms with microphones, race statistics on monitor and so on and a podium part. The podium section is two team-box wide, fully detachable and has a pilots after race interview room on the back. MOC has width compatible with standard 32x32 road plates (2 of them) so it can be easily added to an existing layout. I also tried to imagine some stickers to be placed on podium section top panels. I tried to design this as modular and extendable as possible and now I'm working also on the part for the spectators which will be attached in front of paddocks (where there's the small green grass part) and it will be also compatible with 32x32 road plates. My entry was selected to the Fan Vote phase of "Build a Vintage car to cruise the streets of LEGO® Modular Buildings!". If you like it, please vote it before Dec-4th, to be an official "LEGO Gift with Purchase" set: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/bafd4186-bb49-4eb0-903f-910415f04391/application/080bc359-fa49-4bd9-894c-2b627ba2abc7 More details: The title came from the movie "Jailhouse Rock" because of the striped T-shirt of the "bad boy". It is a late 50's muscle car tuning. On the main picture the couple is watching the freshly installed supercharger and on the last one the first try is visible :) One of the most interesting thing about this car is the brickbuilt flame decoration which was inspired by one of my Matchboxes from my childhood. Some tricky solutions were used to build the flame decoration on the hood especially without the supercharger which is visible on one of the pictures. I prefer this solution instead of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds. It is (mostly) a studless build in Speed Champions style which means a 6 studs wide car with a 4 studs wide windscreen. However the front wheels came from a City set to make them similar to the rear ones which are a bit bigger Creator wheels to make the car more dynamic. I hope you enjoy this car. Hello Speed Champions fans, my son asked me to build a white Audi R8. Both of us like the Speed Champions sets, therefore I choosen this scale. If you like it, you can support it on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ead4242e-8bae-440d-930d-0c840d86ce5f It is a studless build from standard lego elements and modified City wheels are used instead of Speed Champions ones to keep the height to length ratio more realistic similarly to my earlier ideas. The front of this car is iconic and it was a real challenge to recreate it in this small size. I made lots of versions and I think the actual one with a tricky solution is the best. I tried more solutions to the black side blades too, the actual one was inspired by "LEGO Audi R8 instructions (MOC #96)" by "Jerry Builds Bricks" on Youtube, however I modifed it a bit as I wanted tilted blades similarly to the real ones. Only one sticker is used which is the Audi logo on the front as I'm generally not a fan of the parts with stickers, because of the lack of flexibility in using them with other builds. The set includes the minifigure shown on the main picture on the Lego Ideas. It comes form the set 75873 but with red helmet. I have added a rear wing to make the car more dynamic. It differs from the custom Audi wings, but I think it fits to the style of the car and to the side mirrors. Hello Speed Champions fans, Trabant 601 is a legendary car of Eastern and Central Europe. This is its studless model in Speed Champions scale. If you like it, please keep alive this project and support on Lego Ideas to become a real set (only 3 supporters are missing in the next hours to reach the first milestone): https://ideas.lego.com/projects/77b0428c-c46c-47b0-984c-1fd7c97a2948 I wanted to create a relatively accurate model, and some details were challenging in this small size. Firstly I needed smaller wheels than my other builds in this scale, the size of the actual ones are equal to the Mini Cooper (Lego 75894) ones. It was clear too that the City mudgards will not fit to this size, therefore I created a brickbuilt one. The connection of the wheels are tricky a bit which helps to keep the room between the wheels and the mudguard proportional. I wanted to create an accurate front, and I added simple white stickers to the direction indicator lamps to keep the orange parts visible on the front only. The most common colors of this car are the light blue and white (broken white). I decided to use white pieces as the roof element of Mini Cooper (part 6018101) is ideal as hood and roof, and I have this item only in this color. The rear of the car is a bit tricky too as I wanted tilted lights similarly to the real ones. The back lights could be red transparent elements, but I was not able to buy them in that color. I had to buy some elements of "brick, modified, 6191" to the sides too, and it was available only with "Nitro" stickers, but my son said that these stickers are cool, so I kept them. I wanted to use as less stickers as possible as I don't really like them, because they restrain the applicability the stickered elements in different builds. There is picture without the "Nitro" sticker and an other one without any stickers. The set includes a minifigure with a baseball hat and with an additinal red helmet. Hello Knight Rider and Speed Champions fans, KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) from the original TV series Knight Rider is one of the most famous fictional cars. It is a modified 1982 Pontiac Trans Am which is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module in the body of a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile. It is a studless build in the original, 6 studs wide Speed Champions style and fits perfectly to the new City style cars too. Building instructions are available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-52083/_TLG_/kitt-knight-rider/ More details: I wanted to create a sleek model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I minimized the use of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and the last picture shows the car without any stickers. The model has space for one minifigure. The Michael Knight figure on the main picture is from the set 71286. One of the most challenging details was the front with the iconic red scanner bar and the rectangular white headlights. I made lots of versions and I think the actual one with some tricky build techniques is the best one. Simple black stickers were added to the side of the clear transparent elements on the sides to make visible the headlights only on the front side. The model contains lots of details: the circular fuel cap on the left side, the orange one and the red one turn signal lights on the sides, the side-view mirrors, the convertible roof, the small rear wing and the blue vehicle registration plate on the rear to which a custom sticker had been added. The steering wheel is modeled too, and three stickers are added to the dashboard to recreate some of its iconic elements. The wheels are built too and on my physical model the white circles between the wheel covers and the tires are made of a Lego rubber belt. Hi everyone, This is my P-51 Mustang Racing MOC. It is made out of 401 official LEGO pieces. Blue Bull is 28.7 centimeters long (11.3 inches), its wingspan is 30.7 centimeters (12.1 inches), it weighs 263 grams (9.3 ounces) and its top speed is just over 400 km/h (over 250 mph)! A single pilot can sit in the comfortable cockpit and take control of the plane any time. Although Blue Bull has an aerodynamic design, its mainframe’s strength is not compromised! The model is designed with agility, durability and playability in mind, so in case of an accident, the plane is sturdy enough to withstand any drop from the height of up to 30 centimeters (12 inches), without any part breaking off. The model can be easily and carelessly swooshed by holding any part – main body, nose, wings, tail or even the propeller. Plane’s nose, wings and tail are connected at a slight angle. Sideways and top-down building techniques are implemented to achieve the appropriate design of the nose and tail. Nose has a smooth narrowing shape towards the propeller, while tail also narrows towards the endpoint. Main wings also have a slanted design – rear line of the main wings is angled in two points, contributing to the overall appealing shape and leaving enough room for the front landing gear. Hello Ferrari and Speed Champions fans, Ferrari Testarossa is a legendary supercar of 1980s. It is a two-door coupé from 1986 and it is the red version of the car from the TV series Miami Vice as the used Lego windscreen is not available with white decoration. Almost 10,000 Testarossas, 512 TRs, and F512 Ms were produced, making it one of the most-produced Ferrari models, despite its high price and exotic design. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic side intakes with the bottom black stripe, the turn signal lights on the sides, the side-view mirrors, the front grill with the head lights, the iconic rear side with the vehicle registration plate. Maybe the most challenging one was the interior where the seat assemblies hold side panels too. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back. Hello, feel the speed! It is my own hypercar concept inspired by real hyper and supercars. It is a 6 studs wide, studless model built from standard LEGO elements. The overall size is similar to the Speed Champions sets, but the wheels are from City sets as I wanted to keep the height to length ratio closer to the real sports cars. Hello, It is my own Hybrid Truck creation, which is called hybrid because it combines standard LEGO elements with a DUPLO car base. It is built from my kids' sets, and I tried to combine these elements just for fun, but I was very satisfied with the result. It is a studless, conventional cab tractor with a car trailer for Speed Champions size cars, but other type of trailers could be used too. It can be combined with my other MOC "Hypercar concept 1". Hello Chevy and Speed Champions fans, The 1957 Chevrolet is a car that was introduced by Chevrolet in September 1956 for the 1957 model year. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range Two-Ten, and the One-Fifty. It is a popular and sought after classic car. Its image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies, and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. This model is based on one of my favorite Matchbox as a child. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-87788/_TLG_/57-chevy-matchbox-version It is a studless model in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style, and it is an update of my earlier design, because some new parts have become available since the first release which was in 2021, therefore I was able to build a cleaner, less pixelated flame decoration. The use of stickers is minimized to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the brick built flame decoration, the emblematic front bumper with the vehicle registration plate and front lights, the side view mirrors and the rearview mirror, the tiltable seats etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built number on the trunk. I tried to fill every unecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures on the front seats. Hello, I’m excited to share my new MOC, the "Flame Tourer" — a black concert truck adorned with brick-built flames - inspired by my childhood favorite, a similarly decorated ’57 Chevy Matchbox car. It’s now submitted to the Bricklink Designer Program (BDP) Series 8: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/2924/Flame-Tourer It pairs perfectly with Speed Champions cars and it is great for LEGO City too – just add a crowd and start the show! It includes many details like a front bumper with integrated lights and a registration plate, sleek modern headlights with turn signals, and a distinctive grill featuring a custom logo and frame. Stickers are not used to keep the flexibility of the parts in further builds. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The set includes 4 minifigures and offers plenty of playability. Both the truck and trailer feature removable roof assemblies, revealing highly detailed interiors. The truck cabin includes a driver’s seat with steering wheel, detailed dashboard, gear shift, passenger seat, and a sleeper area with a lamp. The trailer contains a cozy living space with a sofa, bunk bed, mini kitchen, and a functional bathroom (toilet and shower). It also includes the most elements of a mobile stage and musical instruments. The remaining stage components are stored in the trailer's left-side lower storage compartment, which features a practical accordion-style folding door for easy access. The trailer's rear door can double as a stage backdrop, see picture 9. All doors in the set are fully functional, enhancing the play experience - and of course you can assemble the stage and let the show begin! I hope you enjoy this set. Hello Lotus, James Bond and Speed Champions fans, The Lotus Esprit S1 is a sports car built by Lotus Cars from 1976 to 1978 at their Hethel, England factory. It has a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and it was featured in the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, where a car famously converted into a submarine after a road chase. The car used in the underwater scenes is nick-named "Wet Nellie". Hello Corvette and Speed Champions fans, The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is the third generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the front bumper, the emblematic side grills, the side view mirrors, the embedded tail lights, the fuel cap etc... I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The instructions includes some modification ideas, for example front blinker and alternate side grill, see picture 6, and luggage rack, see picture 5. Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engine sports car built by Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. Hello Corvette, A-Team and Speed Champions fans, the Chevrolet Corvette C4, colloquially known as the 'Vette, is a two-door, two-passenger sports car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet across more than 60 years of production and eight design generations. The fourth-generation was the first complete redesign of the Corvette since 1963 and it is known for its sleek look. It was produced from 1983 to 1996. This color scheme of this model is based Faceman's 1984 Corvette from "The A-Team" which is an American action-adventure television series that ran on NBC from January 1983 to March 1987 about former members of a fictitious United States Army Special Forces unit. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use small hairs. Without the seats minifigures with bigger hairs can be used too if they are leaned back. Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a mid-engine sportscar produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini. In keeping with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a Spanish fighting bull that fought in Zaragoza, Aragón, in 1993. The Aventador is the successor for the Murciélago and was made by hand in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. The two trans-clear headlight parts "Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1" (part 3665) are very rare, it never released in a set, but is available on Bricklink in some webshops. Of course they can be replaced for example by white, black, light bluish gray or dark bluish gray versions. The parts 86996 and 42446 are also rare, but the picture 7 shows an alternate side view mirror solution. It is a very low build, and can roll well only on flat surfaces. It is more of a display model then a toy for small children. The model has space for two minifigures: one with small hair or helmet in the driver's seat and one either without hair or withour leg. Hello Trabi and Speed Champions fans, Trabant 601 (or Trabant P601 series) is one of the most iconic Eastern Bloc cars of my childhood. It was a Trabant model produced by VEB Sachsenring in Zwickau, Saxony. It was the third generation of the model, built for the longest production time, from 1964 to 1990. As a result, it is the best-known Trabant model and often referred to simply as "the Trabant" or "the Trabi". During this long production run, 2,818,547 Trabant 601s were produced overall and it was the most common vehicle in former East Germany. I have minimized the number of the stickers to keep the flexibility of the parts in further builds, therefore only two standard vehicle registration plate stickers and a Trabant logo sticker are used. I wanted to build the model as accurate as possible in this small scale, therefore it contains lots of details: for example the iconic head and rear ligths, the front grill, the side view mirror, the door handles etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the wheel and mudguard detail with a half stud offset. The model has space for one minifigure with small or middle sized hair. If you prefer the Universal version, then you need only 3 extra parts and it is an easy modification. The design references to 1960s race cars, it is a modernization of the 330 P4, with the body work consisting distinguished low driver's seating position, raised front and rear wheel arches, and the Targa top design. I wanted to create a sleek model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only Ferrari logo and simple light gray head lights stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic front and hood grilles, the side and rear intakes, the side view mirrors etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the brick built narrow black and red lines on the front. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. On the pictures the red grills on the front are connected only by half studs. However, if you prefer more sturdy models, then full connection is usable too, it is a bit less accurate, but looks decent too. It is a very low build, an can roll well only on flat surfaces. The model has space for two minifigures. I suggest to use helmets, or small hairs, and the upper part of the seats have to be removed in this case. Hello Porsche and Speed Champions fans, Porsche 906 aka Carrera 6 is a street-legal racing car from Porsche. It was announced in January 1966 and 50 examples were subsequently produced, thus meeting the homologation requirements of the FIA's new Group 4 Sports Car category to the number. The type would also compete in modified form in the Group 6 Sports Prototype class. For the year of the car's debut in 1966, it achieved numerous victories. The main inspiration came from a plastic toy car which I received as a child.
