The other day, I took a photo of my Iruini and Norik sets to show that I had them but they were incomplete. And then, as I looked at Norik, a silly idea came to me. "Alas, poor Norik. I knew him, Kualus."

It is important to respect original builder's timeline on when they want to post things..... and i wanted to make sure that I wasn't beating the build to the punch, but this creation: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/428544 was posted more than a week ago....so I think I am good. Here is a video: I have no connection with this builder I just saw it and thought it was a great, unique build. We often get lamentations that there are too many wheeled technic MOCs or at least vehicle-type MOCs and this is something quite different.

Another digital MOC commission, done for lovely ghost-mantis! This time it’s Akida and Ikir, and I am very proud how they came out. Ikir’s wings actually follow the anatomy of real avians, and are properly foldable! --- Now folks remember, if you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info!

Hey guys, thought I'd try to flesh out my CCBS skills for once. I was really handy with the G1 constraction system, but with CCBS it just doesn't feel like things fit together right for me yet. And then I saw the Rebrick.lego.com contest. I absolutely love Bionicle, and I would kill to have a signed art book and a complete G2 collection. But murder is illegal, and wouldn't get me the signed art book, so I had to build. I think I have the legs and body down pretty solid, I might add wings to it, but I'm not feeling like it's done. Any criticisms or advice? This is the main body shot. I don't have the mask of ultimate power, since I can't find any of the new sets at my Target, ToysRUs, or Lego Store, but I made do with what I have. And this is a close up of one of the hands. I still haven't built any weapons for Makuta, Lord of Shadows, but it's possible to place them in his hand due to a technic hole from the technic beam w/ ball joint I'm using to support the thumbs. One thing I'm really worried about is filling out the stomach, below the chest. I built this off of a heavily modified and stripped General Grievous, which gives it sizable bulk, but it does lack attachment points for more shells. Photo for scale. He's more than twice as tall as Tahu, and probably uses 4 times a many pieces. I don't have a cape large enough in my collection for him, unless I decide to cut up a t-shirt, which I don't have any black ones to use. This MOC is in essence my farewell to Bionicle, in the wake of its cancellation. Any criticisms? I want to get this thing polished up before I enter it in the contest.

Hello everyone, It has been a while since I've been on Eurobricks, but I do want to hear your thoughts about this topic. I recently received an order of Bionicle parts on Bricklink, only to discover that about 80% of Bionicle joints I ordered were broken at the socket (yes, the were broken before I assembled them to anything)! Although these parts were marked as "used" (the store only had used versions), the seller by no means made any remarks about the sockets being broken. I find this quite ironic because the reason why I had bought those parts were precisely to replace parts I already owned which were broken. Most of the parts I brought were from 2008 (which were already prone to breakage) and included Bionicle Foot Claw with Ball Socket Bionicle Arm / Leg Upper Section (Solek) and Bionicle Head Connector Block (Av-Matoran) What are your thoughts about this? Would you consider it unreasonable to ask the seller for a partial refund of these parts? Should sellers on Bricklink sell broken Bionicle joints without making a remark about those parts? For those who are curious, the store I brought from had 1000+ positive feedback from selling, and did not have any history of negative feedback.

The gold pieces of my Bionicle sets from 2003-2005 in time "tarnish" and I don't know what to do to stop or revert the process. I tried bicarbonate, lemon juice, ammonia, peroxide, soap, salt, leaving a piece in the sun for a couple of hours, casting it in boiling water, putting it in a peroxide glass and leaving it in the sun. No results at all. I was considering painting my Avohkii, but I don't know how to achieve the perfect color. Do you know what paint/dye I might use? I want the piece to match the original 2003 gold from LEGO. Thank you :)

Hi there, it's my new OC I've built recently. Took me 2 days to finish. Hope you like it. Highres on my Flickr Any comment is appreciated.

So does anyone here have any good stands that they had made for their figures? I made a stand once for 2015 Lewa, and while it got him in the air it did not really get him in a dynamic pose. It felt very 2D, so does anyone have any good stands that they have made or have seen.

I was rambling about the internet and found this list for a movie version of the Mask of Shadows: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-BIONICLE-BLACK-KRAAHKAN-MOVIE-EDITION-MAKUTA-Mata-Nui-Titan-8593-MASK-/231591636853?nma=true&si=r2a769c7riItsoFnS%252FjJh10Oc1A%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 The listing has ended apparently and I have no interest in actual getting it, but my curiosity has been peaked! Is this a real thing and if so what did it come with? I myself cannot remember a thing about!

The Skakdi warrior Torak. He wields a wickedly sharp protosteel blade, and his armor is dotted with the teeth of less-skilled Skakdi foes. At one point, Torak was involved in a lucrative quest for the mythical Mask of Control. /meh description Sooo this is my first Bionicle MOC in a solid eight years. I think I did fair-to-middlin'. Shoutout to all the great MOCers here on EB, especially Nuju Metru and Logan McOwen. Comments, constructive criticism, deconstructive criticism, complaints, suggestions, and gripes all welcome. Oh that's embarrasing- no, the asymmetry in the back was not intentional. I do have more than one full bushing. Thanks for looking! Update! Gave him some forearm armor and brass (or Bionicle equivalent. Iron?) knuckles

So I found a Craigslist listing for an unopened Boxor set: https://denver.craigslist.org/tag/5535045022.html Part of me is screaming "YES!", but I'm not so sure. Do you think it's worth it?

Now I know that constraction is a thing that many people don't like, but where is it going to be in the future? The original Bionicle line did really well, and there seemed to be quite a following. Then Hero Factory came along and got less attention, but still did pretty well. It did last 4 years. Then comes Bionicle G2, something so many fans have been wanting to see for a long time. It comes out and it starts with a rocky road, but finds a stable ground. Then towards the end of 2015 massive clearances started to happen, most sets were 50% off. 2016 comes and already on Amazon you can see clearances happening, some stores, are not even caring the sets, and if they do there are not a lot of them. So where do you see the future of constraction going to? It seems to be headed on a downwards spiral, and the only real way I see of saving it is through advertising. Just, agh it is just weird to me because system has been going on a huge rise in the past few years, while constraction seems to be going in the opposite direction.

A small but hardworking toxic waste disposal droid. When he discovers life growing in the most unusual of places, he vows to protect it. Imgur album Leroy was an unusual build as he began as something a bit more sinister. Original I wanted to make an evil brain in a jar, but it wasn't turning out like I hoped. When I noticed that the round shape of his body gave him a softer, gentler look, I decided to give him a little flowerpot to really push it.

My new Lego Gundam MOC, base on a Gundam in season 2 of the series "Mobile suit Gundam 00", piloted by main character. This mobile suit later will attach with the mobile armor 0-Raiser to become 00 Raiser which is very powerful. Name: 00 Gundam Code: GN-0000 Upgrade form: 00 Raiser Pilot: Setsuna F Seiei Power source: 2 GN-Drive (Twin-drive). Series: Mobile suit Gundam 00 Weapon: 2 GN-sword, 2 beam saber. Compare to my previous MOC from "Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans" which i wanted to simple and easy to build the inner frame. This time, i purposely want the frame have more articulation and the out side armor become more accurate to the real design. ***For all articulation and detail, please check the video : No weapon view: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr The twin-drive can be rotated to the front: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can be attach on both sides: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Holding GN-sword: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can transform to gun mode. Armed with a sawed-off shotgun and a powerful sniper rifle, this intergalactic bounty hunter is prepared for any threat. Imgur album A MOC I've had since early 2010, finally looking like he belongs in 2018. I really doubled down on the sci-fi soldier influences for this new version, pulling from Samus, Doomguy, Master Chief, and the Titan Spectre armor from Destiny. Special thanks to L.A. Miranda, Constraction Deva, and Djokson for helping to bring this version to life. Their input and techniques went the longest way for this new version, and I couldn't be more grateful.

It's been a long time coming, but I've finally completed my Toa Mata revamps. Group shot by Kalhiki, on Flickr So this was a project that I've been wanting to complete for a while. Basically the goal was to have revamps of all six Toa Mata, however, there were a few conditions to this goal. Mainly, I wanted to use the original feet, weapons and masks since those are the most iconic. In terms of design, they needed the back gear (even though it does nothing here aside from added aesthetics), and they had to be no bigger than the original Toa Mata (actually ended up being shorter). There were some other design aspects I wanted like the chest balljoint (and Gali's socket chest), using the Toa Metru head, and general proportions (Onua and Pohatu). I started the builds with the limbs since I wanted to use that boat stud technique. Once that was done, it was off to the torso. Took me a while to figure out a good waist articulation method, but the Mixel balljoint was definitely the way to go. Overall, it was kinda tough trying to figure out how to build so small. Once I had the limbs, I was pretty much locked at that size. All that was left was to get the parts for everyone (lucked out and found all the Toa sans Pohatu at a flea market), and the end result is what we have here. I'm quite happy with how they turned out. Some colors needed to be altered since they weren't available. Also had to change the eye colors since I wanted to use the Metru heads, but I feel the substitutions made worked out well. Few more pics, spoilers for cleanliness. ONUA POHATU GALI KOPAKA LEWA TAHU More pictures on the Flickr album including front and back shots, and a size comparison.

Hello everyone, this is my new LEGO Gundam MOC. This time i want to try to build a Mobile Suit from Universal Century timeline which has similar design with RX78-2 Gundam in the Scale 1/60. This Gundam is from the movie "Mobile suit Gundam F91", piloted by Arno Seabook ( appear again in Cross Bone Gundam ). The "F" in the name stand for "Formula". This is light class Gundam, and of course shorter than other normal Mobile Suit. But this Suit equipped with the very powerful weapon: Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR) on the back. This is my Youtube channel (demon1408): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ZlMk-PW3hKg4ZOzzGd2pg?view_as=subscriber And if you like this, please support me in LEGO Idea : https://ideas.lego.com/projects/8dc1c051-9ba0-4d11-80bd-0ad14a5319a2 Weapon: _Mega Machine Cannon _Beam Sabers _Beam Shield _Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR) References: _Master Grade 2.0 (MG) _Movie art Albums: Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/134378223@N05/albums/72157700972342935 Devian Art: https://www.deviantart.com/demon14082000/gallery/67512324/LEGO-Gundam-F91 ***You can check the Youtube video for full gimmick and articulation : Over view: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr With Beam Rifle: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr With Mega Machine Cannon: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr The Cannon can be attach on the back: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr Using the VSBR: After switch the VSBR to the front, you can extend the length and armor of the weapon. At first i just make it extend the length just like the MG version. But then i think its possible to implement the extended armor just like Metal Build version, and this is the result. Maybe you will see it clearer in the Youtube video. You can pull out the Heat Radiations Fins from both shoulder armors and Retractable Thrusters from behind of legs unit. You can only push the back of the leg and all 3 thruster will be bursted out. The beam shield can also be pulled out.
