  1. Hiya! Here is another Star Wars Battle Mech. This is loosely based on the Bignicle Frame by king_nack on Insta. Whilst doing some sorting I came across a <a href="https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=72326#T=C" rel="noreferrer nofollow">minifig space armour with shoulder protection (part 72326)</a>. Initially I thought it would make a cool nose for a spaceship but one thing led to another and it ended up growing into a stormtrooper helmet instead. Minifig ski goggles are jammed in with a rubber band to help shape the shark mouth air vents while the eye assembly is cramped into position as well. Clips and bars hold it all together. I tried to I tried to keep the paneling as tight as I could in order to give him an athletic vibe. This meant that a lot of the frame is visible, especially around the hips but I felt it struck a good balance. Stability is a little tricky due to the narrow hips supporting the weight of the torso and shoulders but once you get positioning right he’s pretty solid. The Imperial Pizza Party was displayed at Brickvention '26 in January but the E11 stood by his side with stock extended to increase overall stability as protection from errant fingers. Hope you like it!
  2. My most extensive Set modification ever, Mobile Devastator was modified over the course of about 3 years. The main goal was to fix the colors and add armor, the set was a good design to start with, despite the skeletal look. The review for the original set can be found here, By ReZourceman http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/9695-8108-mobile-devastator-picture-review/ The most noticeable change is the armor, The blasters on the back have been repositioned to clear the doors, the troop compartment doors have been raised and have the rubber bands removed. Much of the frame has been recolored to eliminate red, dark grey and yellow. Command Tower extends like before, Mecha One's cockpit has been filled in to eliminate gaps. The side armor can be seen clearly here, its connected with balljoint bricks and click hinges. The gun turrets are mounted on hinges on the sides so they can aim at something other than the wheels. The armor wraps around the front too. I was extremely thorough. Cockpits have been redone to support the pilots, and add armor. Controls were added to the front cockpit, along with a view screen The Detachable Venom Gliders have new designs that look the same but fit the whole robot instead of needing to detach the legs There is a hatch at the top, and a ladder that goes all the way down. The roof and floor are filled in as much as possible, it's pitch black inside The side doors open, allowing the troops inside to disembark. 3 extra Iron Drones have been added to the crew, The rack for the inactive drones has been redesigned with sturdy technic parts. Rockets flip up while the troops are deploying, providing cover fire while the interior is vulnerable. Gun rack was also redesigned, and the interior is wide open instead of a cluttered disaster The back armor plates flip open (for access). There is a single prison pod with 2 torture devices. the interior is decorated with vents and slopes carefully placed to eliminate gaps from the outside when its closed. This picture is fuzzy, sorry. It just shows the ladder leading up to the hatch at the top. And that is my second biggest Lego project! (first is Eclipse http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140733-moc-ufo-flagship-eclipse-picture-heavy/) Blazing Falcon was also modified, will post it later... Thank you for looking, any feedback is welcome!
  3. Here a model of Jester from Titanfall 2. Jester is a simulacrum, an AI robot imitation of a person, but doesn't realize or accept that. The model is about 1/10 scale, 7 inches or 18 cm tall. He's packing a couple of weapons that are actually throwbacks to the first Titanfall game, a white, black, and orange CAR SMG (Combat Advanced Round Submachine Gun) and a RE-45 large caliber handgun on his right thigh. Red grenades hang from the green tactical vest he wears. The Wampa/Taun-taun horn hanging from the back of his head is supposed to be a raccoon tail. I haven't seen any art that suggests there is a red rising sun motif on the back of Jester's vest, but I like the red design on that dark green, and the boat-stud keeps those plates together and helps hide their unsightly undersides. The fanny pack is a rocket pack that grants players enhanced jumping and parkour mobility in the game. The model has 14 points of articulation: neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, abdomen, hips, knees, & ankles. The base holds a polycarbonate bar (light saber) that inserts into the bottom of a ski that forms his feet. I had to shorten that bar by about a millimeter to get the foot to be flat and flush against the tile flooring of the base. The abdomen has a couple of 1x2 grille tiles that aren't attached to anything, but trapped by the geometry of the surrounding parts. These move up and down as the chest and hips are posed to simulate pivoting pistons. Thanks for stopping by and having a look!

  5. Hello everyone, this is my new LEGO Gundam MOC. This time i want to try to build a Mobile Suit from Universal Century timeline which has similar design with RX78-2 Gundam in the Scale 1/60. This Gundam is from the movie "Mobile suit Gundam F91", piloted by Arno Seabook ( appear again in Cross Bone Gundam ). The "F" in the name stand for "Formula". This is light class Gundam, and of course shorter than other normal Mobile Suit. But this Suit equipped with the very powerful weapon: Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR) on the back. At first i just make it extend the length just like the MG version. But then i think its possible to implement the extended armor just like Metal Build version, and this is the result. Maybe you will see it clearer in the Youtube video. 6. The PATRIOT class of military mecha units it makes use of manned mechanized unit. Pilots are safely inside the main body of the mecha and can control every actions. A PATRIOT mecha has humanoid appearance, with the head included in the main body. The mecha is heavy armoured, except for the head, it is armed with a base double heavy guns. Thanks to its articulated arms can hold and use a wide range of objects and weapons. Furthermore is equipped with air equipment: PATRIOT mechas can fly thanks to its double pair of wings, two jet engine and a rudder on his back. It's inspired from set 76077. 7. I wanted to build for quite some time a multiple legged mecha. And ofcourse it had to be a Blacktron I version!
  8. So, I've always been a fan of warhammer 40k, specifically the Tau. Their battlesuit designs just do it for me. Since getting back into Lego I've been itching to start building anything from this universe. This is my first complete attempt, having gone through half a dozen different designs, each one getting progressively smaller until I've settled on the right scale whilst keeping the correct shape. I present an XV8 Crisis Battlesuit. This particular one is a Commander with an in universe 'irridium' upgrade, twin fusion blasters, shield generator and drone controller. https://imgur.com/H24sH6u https://imgur.com/JoKbSK4 https://imgur.com/Dm2dqqj https://imgur.com/I7Z3NuB https://imgur.com/0E5mm4E Images for reference This is about as small as I can get it with the pieces I have and keeping the overall shape and movement. I'd originally tried to get it with a pilot and opening chest plate as it is in canon, but it ended up being much bigger, and one of my first attempts came out the size of an in universe 'ghostkheel', a battlesuit much bigger than this one, so I've settled for imagination. It's made largely from Reys' Speeder and the creator 3 in 1 Mythical Creatures sets, plus odd other assorted pieces. I'd like to try and get some more detailing onto it, especially the rear of the legs and maybe the torso, see if I can find some printed tiles or something. I might also try and make more realistic weapons for it, I know the ones attached are stylized. I'm either going to try and build some accompanying drones, or another suit, or something from another faction entirely! Comments, criticism, advice and other W40k mocs and ideas very much welcome!
  9. My first MOC I'm posting here. Hope ya'll like it! Oni.X by Anthony Wilson, on Flickr Made a Think Tank for Marchikoma. I needed to get this up before the end of the month so a couple of things are a little unpolished but overall I'm pretty happy with it. Oni.X (alt views) by Anthony Wilson, on Flickr

  11. I'm currently building a larger sized mech. I have acquired 3 turntables. Now these two next images are spoilers for my upcoming mech build. So if you don't want to spoil the surprise of seeing the finished thing first, don't open these. But if you need to see the scale of reference for the shoulder then check them out. And here is the shoulder i'm using: I'm using a blue stud/axle pin to create friction so the shoulder doesn't just plop down from the weight of the gun turret i'm attaching to it. But my question is. How do i make this turntable into a fully functional shoulder for a mech? How do i attach it to a gun so it can also turn sideways. Only thing that is finished are the legs so since this is a WIP the upper half of the whole torso will be subject to change. I'm using Hero factory IFB cockpit + pilot in this since it is very effective and easier to build around. Any tips? Should i use balljoints or technic pieces? I haven't decided what type of guns i'm attaching for the arms. But there will be lots of missiles at the back. And lasers in the front torso around the cockpit.
  12. And so mechbuilds begin. This first one is a more mobile suit with twin napalm throwers. Secondary weapons are anti tank missiles on the shoulders.. The second one is a medium class mech with a much more heavier arsenal. Equipped with long range missiles at the chest and short range missiles at the hip. Hip cannon that has heavy armor piercing rounds. Arm mounted medium lasers.
  13. Hello Folks! I love LEGO mechas. Long time ago I bought a 7709 in mint condition, and the blue mech of it was love for the first sight. Still, as an official set it looks... well, bit lame. I borrow pictures from this review: Lot of empty areas, right? The trailer of the upcoming Ninjago movie raised my Mech-fever again, and I dug out this set from the depth of foil bags and boxes hell. I really wanted to bring this blue guy in up-to-date status, and make it look as it would be an actual set, which is on pair of the most recent Ninjago mechs. I hope, I succeeded to polish up the look well (You judge) and made it beefy enough while keeping the genetics of the original, to be able to take it's well deserved place in the world of LEGO mechs. On the side note: it is 11 years old now...wow! And the light brick is still working. The weapons are the same, they look already genial. The sword is now can be carried on the back (held by a black Technic axle) for traveling, and I gave some boost for high performance flight mode. The whole cabin is rebuilt, actually overall a lot happened. Let the pictures talk from now on, enjoy! EDIT: I found two pieces of Nr 4 connectors in medium blue , which came handy here for the cabin bottom (instead of black ones).

  15. My 6th alternate of 70312 features moving head, fully poseable arms and legs, opening chest cockpit that can fit Lance's bot. The Mecha Knight can hold the shield and lance in his hands, has a protective neck shield, shoulder cannon and armpit missiles. The whole figure can be seated and his left leg can kick some butt. Scroll down for tutorial.
  16. [Render] Prawn Suit (Subnautica) by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr The P.R.A.W.N. Suit (Pressure Re-Active Waterproof Nanosuit) (Mk.III) is a powered suit of armor, designed for use in both the deep-sea and space - capable of affording protection to a pilot whilst maintaining maximum dexterity with hydraulic limbs and a reinforced canopy. It is however not directly worn - rather it is a large frame that can be piloted in a seated position. Unlike the other vehicles in Subnautica, the Prawn Suit walks along the ocean floor, only using thrusters to move vertically. 17. So, some years ago a Russian toy company TEHNOLOG released a tabletop wargame "MechBat" (Mechanical Batallion). It featured two groups of four Mechs battling each other along with squads of tiny soldiers. At the time, I loved the game, especially because it was not restricted to any kind of gaming board so I could come up with all kinds of crazy landscapes, scenarios and special rules. Each of the four Mech figurines had detachable arms and back pieces that symbolized their weaponry and special systems. My two favorites were Barbarian, armed with missile launcher and power fist, and Predator, armed with minigun and a laser cannon. Thanks to my friend @Garry_rocks I was recently reminded of the existence of MechBat and our conversations inspired me to recreate my favorite mechs in LDD. Here is how the original minis looked like: I took the respective color schemes from the picture and applied them to my models: [Render] MechBat - Barbarian and Predator by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Here are Barbarian and Predator separately: [Render] MechBat - Barbarian by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr LDD Screenshot [Render] MechBat - Predator by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr LDD Screenshot * * *Now folks remember, if you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! 19. I'm trying to make an improvement to my Macross SDF-1 shoulder mounts. While they need to be really sturdy to be able to keep in place the Armd carriers, they should also be able to rotate, have the particle cannons on the front/back and the link should be made so it can hold the Armd in the 2 different positions while in battle mode or in ship mode. Here you can find the pictures of the current built model, and here you can see the replacement I'm working on. The problem are: only 1 stud connection for the shoulder pivot is really weak the link with hinges are right only in ship mode, but not in battle mode, as I can't rotate the Armd any more towards front The requirements are: the parts must exist (in the colour provided and not custom/modified/glued) as it is a real model the size should not be too much different than the one I used OPTIONAL: the external visible parts should exist in white, while the hinge and modified bricks/plates should exist in light bluish grey, as I'm planning a Robotech version of the SDF-1 too Thanks in advance :)
  20. I recently found two relatively nice mechas where the creators were nice enough to share the instructions. They were both older creations and I'd like to see what they made after ball joints became more readily available. Who are the top MOC creators to pay attention to, especially when newer parts are available? The finest minifigure scale Gundam RX-78-2 I've seen was GYUTA's.
