After many months of work, I am happy to present you Hint lab ! I would love to get your input on my work :) Why ? You know it better than anyone, many people have a strong emotional attachment to our little bricks. They remind us of our childhood, they represent creative thinking etc. Lego bricks can be found in almost every home around the world. They come in many shapes and colors that make them ideal for customization and assortment. I realized a lot of people like to match their accessories to their outfits. Matching shoes to shirt, bag to watch... I wish to associate these ideas together. So I present you : Hint Lab. Hint lab is a range of jewelry in precious metal and nylon that allow you to wear Lego bricks and match them to your outfit. More HD photos here. What do you think of it ? Do you think there is a market for this kind of products ? I want to improve the range, do not hesitate to tell me if you have any suggestion :)

Hi I'm legologoart! I've been building with legos for forever, but just recently started sharing my designs on Instagram. I use Lego bricks to recreate logos such as Google, Pepsi, and Apple. I would love to have some fellow lego lovers to give some feedback and check it out at https://www.instagram.com/legologoart/ Have a great day!

Hi All! My apologies if this new topic is placed incorrectly however I'm not sure where else it could possibly belong? I am aware there are VIP events such as VIP early release and double/triple points. When is the triple points weekend event? Is it yearly? Also what's your opinions on VIP early release?

Hi All I am looking at making my owning lighting system for my lego sets. I have seen a number of websites that offer a pre made kit however I would like to make my own unique design and I would also like to make it with using the JST connectors. My question is what connectors does all these different sites use. I don't know if they are JST PH's or some other JST connector. I need the connector to fit in between the stub of the lego brick. Can anyone help?

I would like the Mixels balljoint cup 1x2 plates, but with the cup rotated 90 degrees for greater movement freedom. I could also use 1x2 plate Mixels balljoint cup with the cup on top like 11458 and one with cup on bottom like 24201 or 18677. Mixel cup one end, jumbo cup other end. Mixel ball one end, jumbo ball other end. I would also like a 1x2 plate (or more) with studs on top and bottom (no clutch side). What would you more experienced Lego builders want?

Under the radar, but LEGO revealed an update about replacing the ABS brick both in their 2016 Responsibility Report and a LEGO Batman Movie article here: The prototypes as featured in the Responsibility Report: So, what do you think of the progress? Mods: If this should be merged with a previous thread, please do so. I didn't want to bump a three-year-old topic.

Hi, I have been working on making a large Galactus figure in LDD, intending on buying the pieces necessary and building it in real life once I have finished. I completed the head (I'm building it in sections) and went on Bricklink to check the general prices of the bricks I need. For some reason, though, there is one piece: (Inverted Roof Tile Corner in Dark Purple or Medium Lilac) that was not available on Bricklink, and I have not been able to find anywhere. This kind of screwed me up, because I assumed if it was available in that color in LDD, it would be available in real life. Now I have to figure out a way to bypass this issue when I actually build the figure. Any one else run into a problem like this?

Hi, LEGO Creator fans This is my 3d favorite LEGO series. Some fans advised me to translate from Russian into English my poem dedicated to the 80th anniversary of LEGO. If I mischose the theme, a regulater will choose where to upload it better. Many thanks. First the text is in Russian and below in English. (Sorry I failed to translate using rhymes). Should I be reckless or cautious in my dreams?ā - āI am less the lampās prisoner than of my masterās wishes. My bondage are limits of human aspiration. I can make real anything that you can imagine And in exchange I beg you to free me from the power given to me, To let free the jinn, to wish him freedom. As one canāt count sands in a desert, so are my slave years countlessā. How did the legend finish that wasnāt preserved by centuries. Only people turned the magic world into a game world. Everyone once started with toy blocks & puzzles. What couldnāt be made with blocks, that was completed by a dream. Childrenās imagination is equal to the jinnās powers, It includes the magic world as Aladdinās lamp does. And the toy bricks boxes hold anything in the world, Anything that is in a childās mind, and not only childās. Because toys can start a collection If later a simple hobby is not enough. During lots of years different blocks Gave new forms to realization of imagination. And I still search for something somewhere, little by little. I know for certain, there are people in the world thatāll help me. Those whom I donāt know at all, but who has something But that is in hips ā not needed any more. Promiscuously, indisorder, forgottensets Are in the corners, dusted ā for months & even years. To give a second life to things used as pastime ā That I can do as an architect who sees glory of ruins. What they used to be, our memory can suggest. But people didnāt spare even stone in their recklessness. Parthenon, the ancient masterpiece, wasnāt destroyed by elements But by being used as a military warehouse of gunpowder. Once a cannon-ball broke the strong roof And a terrible explosionshook the ancient building. Restorers have been trying for a lot of years to find In different branches of science the treasures lost by memory. Where is the source of their aspiration, interest for architecture, For the beauty of gone buildings & the culture which created them? - Maybe it is only in this hobby which gradually changed the life. Nothing passes away without a trace. Everything is kept deep in our minds. Sometimes we recollect long forgotten things. So a seed forces its way through soil. Unforeseen corn shoots, invisible at first, Cansproutsometimesunexpectedly. So a childish pastime, being only a game Sometimes can be a beginning of something more important. Then plastic will become stone and assembling instructions - Draughts of different buildings at a real construction site. 24.01. 2012.

Bricks&Pieces is/was? an alternative to Pick a Brick that doesn't suck, for those rare parts that would have no chance to be on Pick a Brick (which is never a better deal than BrickLink). I made an order last week (for the hollowed round 1x1 plates in LBG, quite useful & only available in the Dimensions Portal set) and today I notice that it's.. gone? I'm only seeing the first 2 ('part is missing') options here. I seriously hope they're merging it with Pick a Brick, for something more useful. In my last order I had spotted mini-legs in LBG for 5 cents btw. Sounded like a good deal, but not too good to be true - BrickLink prices are purely based on rarity but for Lego mini-legs are just 1 part, not an assembly, so they could exist for 5 cents. Well Lego fixed their prices & billed me the remainder without even asking, that's not nice of them. Lucky I didn't buy 100's - something I can imagine a BL shop owner doing.

I'm Tom Alphin, author of The LEGO Architect book. For the past 6 months, I've been working on a new in-depth guide exploring LEGO Storage topics. I'm pleased to announce that my LEGO Storage Guide is ready for people to enjoy (and give feedback.) The guide is extensive, with 10 chapters and around 50 pages of free content: Section I: Organizing, Sorting, & Storing LEGO Bricks ā The guide walks you through the process of understanding your LEGO collection, exploring different ways to organize your collection, great storage solutions for a LEGO collection of any size, and additional tips and tricks. Section II: Displaying & Storing LEGO Minifigures ā This section explores some of the best ways to show off and protect your favorite LEGO minifigures. The guide is informed by detailed surveys of around 200 LEGO enthusiasts. The data analysis helped me prepare LEGO storage recommendations based on the size of your collection and other factors. The guide is well researched... It contains results from a detailed LEGO Storage survey with about 200 responses, learnings from interviews with top LEGO builders from around the world, and recommendations based on numerous articles, books, and forum discussions on eurobricks.com website. LINK: http://brickarchitect.com/guide/ I hope you enjoy reading the guide, and I can't wait to hear your feedback! I will continue improving the guide in the coming weeks, and am tracking your suggestions for future improvements in the acknowledgements section. Sincerely, ---tom P.S. I'm eager to hear - what's your favorite LEGO storage product?

After finishing it and creating minifigures I uploaded it to LEGO Ideas which you can find here: Four-Towered Castle It contains some extra information such as piece counts. Feel free to leave a support on the LEGO Ideas site if you like it. 3D Model view here on Sketchfab: Four-Towered Castle The Full Inside view. Note that the castle is made in a "L" shaped layout. The left/West Entrance. Notice the flaps that would allow archers/crossbowmen to fire through and take cover. The inside side of the West entrance. Entrance to the hall from the courtyard/bailey. The alchemy room. With a green substance in a flask and a chandelier below the tall ceiling. The certainly need a ladder here. A tower with a wooden hoarding around it. Crossbows are stored here. The armoury. Along with the stacked sword it has a bed for a soldier here as well. View above the towers. Better view of the catapult and the winch for raising the portcullis. Inside the shack extension. The Great Hall. Turnable fire in the great hall's fireplace. Winch which you can rotate the fire and exterior of the hall. Drawbridge Outside. Gate Inside. Chest room. Stone Sigil. Walkway. Romans with a catapult & Celtic Warriors. Upper view.

Hi all, So recently I have been building a T-90A at 1:25 scale. I solved a lot of problems but i am stack with an under performing suspension system. The problem lies at the road wheels, the way they are attached to the suspension, and the traction between them and the tracks, not the mechanism itself (which is fairly responsive). Let me explain: (sorry for the picture quality, it won't let me upload better ones) There are two sets of 4185 wheels, attached to a 30374 light saber blade (which acts as the spinning axle). The light saber blade is itself attached to a 6632 1x3 thin lift arm, which is then attached to a 15462 5L axle with stop that acts as the pivoting axle of the suspension. The suspension is made of orthodontic rubber bands, but the smaller Lego rubber bands should work as well (i tried to explain the poor quality pictures as best as i can). The problem: The light saber blade creates a lot of friction with both the wheels and the axle socket of the liftarm, so when the tank moves, the wheels won't spin (which is a problem). I am asking here for help, does anyone more experienced than me has a better solution (note that the overall dimensions of the suspension, must not change in order to keep up with the scale). Thanks in advance!

Flameo my fellow Avatar fans, Iām a huge fan of ATLA and I need your help. Recently I have submitted a project on LEGO IDEAS, it's the Spirit Oasis from Avatar: The Last Airbender. As you might know LEGO IDEAS is a website which allows users to submit ideas for Lego products to be turned into potential sets. So If my project reaches 10.000 supporters it may become an official LEGO Product. Many Avatar Fans including me would love to purchase another LEGO ATLA Set since the original sets from 2006 are not available anymore. Check out my project: The Spirit Oasis Project on LEGO IDEAS All you need to do is press the support button and create a free LEGO Account if necessary. Thanks a lot, Every supporter counts!

Hi everyone I am in the process of sourcing parts to build a physical version of my Lego Ideas project, The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine. The model was constructed digitally and I used 2 torso pieces for my minifigs that I thought were suitable for the style and time period of my model. The figure on the left uses the Frodo Baggins torso from the Lord of The Rings Lego theme but I can't track down the tan coloured torso on the right. Does anyone recognise this or know which sets it has been featured in?
