  2. Hi everyone. It's ages since I've posted a new MOC here on Eurobricks but I wanted to share my latest creation, a coastal scene called "Fun at the Seaside". The model is inspired by my memories of family holiday at the seaside and depicts a nostalgic and vibrant beach scene, with the main focal point being a large Victorian Pier. The pier itself is packed full of details including a functional Ferris Wheel, some arcade machines, an ice cream shop and a hotdog stand. At the head of the pier is a traditional bandstand complete with a brass band and there is also a spot for fishing from the end of the pier. A series of steps lead down from the pier and on to the beach. I've included a couple of beach huts which can be removed from the model to give easy access to their interiors. There are lots of details and little stories happening on the beach. These include a couple having their picnic ruined by a mob of hungry seagulls and a boy (based on my own son) building sand castles. There is also a minifigure being buried in the sand. I have fond memories of doing this to my Dad when I was a kid, so this minifigure is based on my Dad. On the opposite side of the beach are some tidal rock pools that the children can explore with their nets. Nestled in the cliff face is the entrance to a mysterious sea cave. The cave interior can be accessed from the back of the model. Thanks very much for checking out my latest design. I hope you like it. I've decided to give this one a shot on LEGO Ideas so any votes of support would be greatly appreciated. https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/9b032038-cfc4-489a-84a9-44f10e80823e Thank you very much!

  5. I wanted to show off all of my purist figs, because I have some that aren't TV show or movie characters, or Superhero figs, so here they are. I will be updating this constantly with new figs. I'm moving all my figs to this topic instead. NOTE: I do not take of minifig arms, as it breaks the torso, but will take off hands, and occasionally legs too. I will list the parts of each minifig (Hair / Helmet / Hat, Head, Neck, Torso, Hands, Legs, sometimes hips, etc.) Hope you enjoy the figs! [001] Shazam! [002] Bizarro V1 [003] Kid Flash [004] Yondu Udontu [005] Bizarro V2 Thanks for looking! MANY more purist figs coming your way soon!
  6. A few LotR MOCs: Galadriel, Elrond, Gandalf the White, Gondorian knight, Sam, Frodo, Merry and Pip. The hobbits pre-date the official ones with a few later parts. Apologies for the rubbish photography. Questions, comments, rings of power?
  7. Hi Does anyone have the proper background for the monsters minifigures series 14, also the monsters logo, and the logo that says series 14. I have the set and made some frames and want to make them look the part. Many Thanks
  8. Hi! Does anyone any on know where to find accurate decal templates for torso, legs and arms? I would be really cool if it is already scaled to minifigure size. That would save me alot of time. Thanks! Aaron
  9. Will Speed Champions return for a fifth year?! What Cars will we get?! Let’s find out!!
  10. Hi, October is an awesome month for me with the introduction of bricktober minifigures promotion since 2017. To me, these exclusives are really nice to collect. Here is some recap of 2017 bricktober reviews by Eurobricks' marvellous golden reviewer @makoy. 5004938 - NINJAGO Minifigures 5004939 - TLBM Minifigures 5004941 - Classic Minifigures Okay, after reminiscing the past, let's look into 2018. Ninjago is the first bricktober released this year, followed by Harry Potter, Jurrasic World and Infinity War. Let's start. Overview Name: 5005257 - NINJAGO Minifigures Theme: Promotional \ Toys R Us (Bricktober) Year: 2018 Pieces: 25 pcs Minifigures: 4 Price: free with purchase of RM199 in Malaysia. Introduction Last year we thought that was the last bricktober but gladly they're not. Now we are pampered with more interesting minifigures with arm and leg printings. Even the fan is printed. Even me, a non-Ninjago fan, feels happy and excited about these minifigures. Box I love the words at the lower left corner. Limited Edition. Which means you won't find them elsewhere other than this box. I think they heard @makoy's suggestion last year about the minifigures being loosely placed in the box. Let's see why. There are some extension of the black mould plastic at the arm area to secure them in place. I didn't notice that at first but when I tried to take them out single handedly, I can't. Anybody reads these? Can't wait to get out of the box! Okay. Let's go to pose in front of the camera. Minifigures Harumi with the oni mask of hatred. Hmm, as a non-Ninjago fan, I've googled the name of this purple mask. I found out that this minifigure is actually a Princess and the story goes on. Minifigure wise, the print of the mask is truly amazing and two sides of the hair part (plume feather ponytail) can become details of some buildings for MOCers. She is holding two red katana, (I think they are NEW!), with an Armor Rock Shoulder Pads. Look at the printings at the side of the legs! I love them even though they are just a few crack lines there! The other minifigure that wearing this kind of mask are Ultra Violet (Oni Mask of Hatred) and Killow. To my surprise, under the mask is a biker's helmet instead of just one piece mask and I suppose the person under the mask and helmet is Princess Harumi with grey head and white band around the eyes. This minifig had the most accessories in this box. As of the prints, she is printed all over. The grey makes her looks like a statue with expressions. I suppose it's her transformation after she wears the oni mask of hatred? Overall, I really love the detailed prints on her torso, arms and legs. Ugly has a new definition now. Future Jay. So Jay the Blue ninja has grown up and become 'Jackie Chan' in the future and come to the present and for what purpose? Hmm, let's don't go to that. He has arm and side leg prints, and he seems to lose his left eye. No alternate face and a blue ninja robe. Hey Gandalf, he took your staff. 6L Bar with stop ring. Mohawk. He looks scary, with a black spiky hair, and a silver coloured baseball bat. One skull face, no alternate expressions and a highly detailed torso and jean print. The tatoos at the right arm looks amazing too! Yes. 2018 bricktober is better than 2017. So much better. Nya. The best minifigure so far for a Geisha looking girl. The prints are totally marvellous and the fan is very uniquely printed. I like the smirk as the alternate facial expression here on a kabuki-face printing. It's not about you. Conclusion As a non-ninjago fan, I truly don't appreciate this set as Ninjago characters but I still love them with so many detailed prints. This is totally worth for money as the minifigures are exclusive and can be used in so many ways. Review summary Playability: 6/10 - Play feature? I didn't see any at the box art. But you can make a minifigure sit, stand or run, so I give it a six. Design: 10/10 - Yes FULL marks for the design! Minifigures: 9/10 - Future Jay is quite simple, and Harumi is scary. Hence the one point deduction. Price / Value for money: 10/10 - Who doesn't love a free set? (I paid RM199 for the other set to get this free, but it's still worth it!) Overall: 8.5/10 - This is a very good set and I think Ninjago fan would love it. Even I liked it very much. I hope you enjoy reading my simple review and do express your comments below. Harry Potter is next. Stay tuned.
  11. Okay, so if you have ever looked up "Custom LEGO pieces" you find some cool parts. I was wondering if anyone has tried making their own, and out of what material? Does PVC release bad chemicals? Was it hard or time consuming? And most importantly, what are your opinions on third party pieces like brickarms, brickforge, brickmania, Crazy bricks arms and cactuses, etcetera? I have not tried too many custom pieces so far. So, that being said, I am interested in your responses. I did another one, like this, so here is the link to the original: Thanks in advance, Legostarwars1425
  12. Do you agree with this idea or not?It will be nice from LEGO to do that.
  13. Here's another series I made of some famous celebrities to go along with the 90th Oscars this Sunday.
  14. A recreation of popular design using 688 stormtrooper minifigures. It uses a mosiac function and a Lego crowd generation system that I created in python - hope you like it.
  15. Hi everyone! My name is Konrad and I am from Poland. I am huge fan off Minifigures (more than 2000 in collection and growing ), collecting those for some time. Im especially proud of those 4 Minifigures: I hope to find here more people who are into Minifigures and be a part of discussions around those. Cheers Konrad

  18. Hello everybody! As I already told you, I was planning a new, BIG game for your fun! And now I am ready! Are you ready for THE GREATEST MINIFIGURES GAME ? Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 1, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 2 and so on. And now vote!
  19. Round 2 is over and won by the WIZARD that had 40% of the votes. Now on to round 3. Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 3, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 4 and so on.

  22. Round 1 is over and won by the PIG SUIT GUY that overwhelmed the opponents. Now on to round 2. Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 2, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. 23. Hi there everyone! This is my first real MOC post that I've put a lot of work into so please be kind I decided to create what a potential second line up could look like for another Disney CMF Series. I have a rational for every character I chose and if you've got any questions feel free to ask me below or PM me. All of the figures and pictures can be on my flickr linked below, and if you want to swing by there and leave a favourite or follow me to see my further updates it'd be much appreciated A few things to note. First off the figures are all hand drawn and I am working towards creating a better way to merge the hand drawing and digital aspects of the figures. If you recall the packaging for the first CMF was Blue and the colour I have chosen here is Yellow this is of course to reflect how the first non-licensed CMF was Yellow and the second Blue (Bit of Irony I guess). I have also included characters I felt were left out or needed to complete the figures that came in the 1st wave. For example the inclusion of Woody, Lilo, and Goofy. I have also tried to keep about the same amount of villains as there were in the original and plan to do so in future ones as well (If you guys like them of course ). Oh one last thing to note I think is that this is almost identical to the wishlist I created over a year ago so if there is someone you'd like to see me do I'll try to squeeze them into a future line (Only if they fit my criteria though). Also forgot to say that @Robert8 and his creations was a huge inspiration to do this, so thanks! So with out further ado.... Series 2 Bag Mockup: Checklist Mockup: Series 3 Bag Mockup: Checklist Mockup: The Figures are in the spoiler tag:
  24. So I don't know if this topic has been done yet but I am just going to do it anyways , I hope to start a discussion about fake lego minifigures especially and maybe the quality of their bricks So I probably won't post any pictures simply because I don't have any fake lego, but would like to say a few things that I know about it at least... I purchase most of my LEGO off of eBay, especially the hundreds of clone figures to put into my army, but recently have noticed these wierd Chinese counterpart copy of these clone figures appearing all over when I search for REAL Lego. You can easily tell the difference from the fake just because how bad it looks, but it is sad to see that many companies try to pass these as real Lego figures... I have not purchased any of these and do not plan on it, just seeing these figures in collections looks off and awkward, and supporting those companies is not something I wish to do when I don't like what they're doing. The parts is a another story. I have several sets of GOOD QUALITY USA made offbrand that actually works quite well with Lego. These look like Lego, and is more difficult to tell the difference than that of the figures. So does anyone own any of these figures? What are your thoughts on the quality and how they compare with LEGO? Maybe even a side by side figure comparison in a picture would help. Again it will be my look that this gets merged. So please don't merge if you don't have to... thanks, just wanted to potentially hear a couple thoughts.
  25. Round 11 is over and it was a victory for the ROGUE though the banana costume guy was very close. Now on to round 12. I think it's another good round! Rules are simple: pick your favourite minifigure among the one you see. This is round 12, we'll go through many rounds before stating the best collectible minifigure ever... but I believe it will be funny! Notes: minifigures are selected randomly. Only one minifigure goes to the next stage. All 384 collectibles released so far are present. 384 / 6 = 64, only 64 will survive the first round. I will tell the winner when going with round 13 and so on.
