Fate(ful) has smiled on us today, and we now have a list of names, prices, and part-counts for Ninjago’s January 2025 wave! 71823: Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 54 pieces / $10 71824: Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu / 56 pieces / $10 71826: Dragon Spinjitzu Double Pack / 186 pieces / $20 71827: Zane’s Battle Mech / 92 pieces / $20 71828: Lloyd’s Race Car / 181 pieces / $30 71829: Lloyd’s Forest Dragon / 128 pieces / $20 71830: Kai’s Storm Rider Mech / 333 pieces / $40 71831: Ninja Spinjitzu Temple (4+) / 158 pieces / $40 71833: Ras’ Storm Jet / 510 pieces / $50 71834: Zane’s Ultra Combo Mech / 1187 pieces / $100 71841: Dragonian Storm Village / 305 pieces / $40 It looks like “Dragon Spinjitzu” will be the new gimmick, and possibly a new technique that the Ninja learn in Season 3; Lord Ras survives and continues to be an antagonist (not a surprise, but still a bit of a spoiler), and the villains are storm-themed. Considering that Nokt has blue markings (possibly storm elemental?) and physically resembles the Island Keepers, maybe their species is called “Dragonians” and they (or at least some of them) will return as the villain army in DR S3. 🤔

Just figurered I'd do a lttle breakdown on my purist custom elemental masters from the Serpentine Wars/Battle for all Time. For today I've got young Wu, young Garmadon, Libber, Hibernus, Benton and Dusk. I'll also add the Bricklink part ID's below. I mostly went for outfit accuacry rather than colour accuarcy, I guess you could considers these version to be a legacy interpretation. Wu and Garmadon were fairly easy to put together. I used the black legacy Wu robe as the base and swapped the arms to purple for Garmadon. Using the older Lloyd head for Garmadon was a no brainer. The angry face for Wu isn't perfect, but smile is almost spot on based on the reference image I used. Wu parts: Hair - 62810 tan Head - 3626pb2748 Torso - 973pb3398c01 Legs - 970c00pb0904 Garmadon Parts: Hair - 61183 dark brown Head - 3626pb1035 Torso - 973pb3398c01 swap white arms for purple Legs - 970c00pb0904 Dusk possed a challenge intitally due to her hair piece not existing in the right colour. The robes also gave me some trouble but then it hit me, she's wearing Stass Allie's jedi robes (even the trivia on the wiki doesn't have this fact at the time of writing). To keep the oufit cohesive I omitted any purple colouring and finished off with the princess braided hair in black. The trick for the face was to search brinklink for the best cheekline options, luckily I already had my chosen head in my parts collection. Dusk parts: Hair - 59363 Black Head - 3626pb1830 Torso - 973pb1480c01 swap dark tan arms for tan Legs - 970c02pb10 For Libber I went for the classic option of using Jay's fusion suit. For the head I had wanted to use Claire's head from the Temple of Airjitsu, but since I have that figure I didn't want to create an ''Now there are two of them!'' situation. In the end I settled on the Falconer CMF head for some double sided action. (ignore the crack in her right arm, I promise I'll get it fixed). Libber parts: Hair - 90396 bright light yellow Head - 3626pb3185 Torso - 973pb2613c01 Legs - 970c00pb0630 For Hibernus I was curious to see if the snow guardian CMF torso could work, I also wasn't satisfied with any of the blue robe options. I added some dark blue arms and legs and he was good to go. I also liked this goatee head better than any of the moustache ones. the hair thankfully exists in the correct colour, but only on two figures. Hibernus parts: Hair - 88283 white Head - 3626pb1960 Torso - 973pb4562c01 swap arms for dark blue with white hands Legs - 970c00 dark blue Last up, Benton. As the triva section of the wiki has pointed out he uses Gimli's torso and Aragorn's head from Lord of the Rings. He also uses the legs from the samurai warrior CMF. I stuck with the torso (with it's dark grey arms) and the legs, but I went with the samurai warrior's head as well. To be in keeping with the arms I went with a pearl dark grey version of the helmet. Benton parts: Helmet - 48493 pearl dark grey Head - 3626pb0509 Torso - 973pb1149c01 swap light nougat hands for reddish brown ones Legs - 970c00pb0080 Thanks for scrolling though this wall of text and pictures :)

I would like to present my take on the Ninjago subtheme Sky Pirates theme. I have designed an airship mothership for the Sky Pirates in small Midi-scale for ease of display. It takes design cues from Japanese architecture and ancient war ships, mixed with Diesel Punk. It measures about 2 feet long and comes in at around 2300 parts. It features 4 main engines to keep it aloft, and has sails for that extra wow factor. It also has a flight deck for aircraft to takeoff from to launch Ariel attacks on their enemies. I kind of took inspiration from the Misfortune's Keep, so I named this the Misfortune's Dreadnaught. The ship is designed to be built in 3 modules which then attach together and sit on the base. There is also some modest rigging(not shown) I have built this MOC in real bricks, I will add some more real photos to share a little later once I get around to photographing! The last image is a mini fig scale version of the small attack ship that fits on the mothership. I would love to design a mini-fig scale version of the full ship someday, but it will be ridiculous. This is a much underrated sub theme (in my opinion) that I wish Lego would expand upon some day, but until then I will have to do my best to come up with some more vehicles :) I forgot to add a link to more picture on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/201489097@N08/albums/72177720332706987 I have made instructions for both of these builds on Rebrickable if there is any interest, you can PM me.

I made a Wolf Clan remnant group just for my own Ninjago stuff. I thought it was intersting to explore the Wolf Clan post season 2 of Dragons Rising. At this point they're imprisoned in the City of Temples, but what if they escaped? Having been abandoned by Ras and the Forbidden Five, where would they go? Do they have a home to go back too, or would they rather start a conquest of the Merged Realms for their own ends? Here I have a General to lead them and two relic keepers to guard the Gong and Mallet of Shattering. Thanks for checking out my post :)

I made an old version of Zuri from the Shatterspin comic. This version is meant to be from the Dragons Rising era, so she's at minimum forty-five years older than we last saw her. I tried to keep her outfit colourscheme from the comic, and since she's the leader of the Wolf Clan I gave her cape. Thanks for checking out my post :)

This is a big one. I got 71818 Tournament Battle Arena nearly two years ago and have been meaning to expand on the original set for a while. I finally sat down to do just that three weeks ago. The set was good, but I was missing some training space and spectator stands. I also wanted a bit more floor space for the fights. I was able to salvage a number of parts from the remodelling and two copies of 30675 Tournament Training Ground. In the end I was able to add a floating arena platform, an exploding bridge, the capture the flag point and the champion's podium. I didn't make any of the obstacle courses or the Lloyd vs Zeatrix gauntlet. First a quick overview and then we'll go in depth. The base arena. Extra add-ons. The main platform is largely unchanged. I stripped the play feature but kept the platforms to be added separately. The weapon rack has been expanded to add training space. The core of it is similar to the drum platform from the original. This is also a good spot to pose the ninja team to spectate. The back has the scoll that the FSM satue was holding, you could consider this a miniature City of Temples Museum. The bridge was the first expansion I build, I made it not long after I got the set. It's basically a bigger version of the Tournament Training Ground. Here's a shot clip of the exploding feature. The aftermath. To make space for the spectator stands I gutted the entite drum platform. I took the banners from the FSM statue and put them here too. There's two rows of seating and some standing space. Out front you can pose team Ras. The palisade bricks can be move to open the gate. The statue of The First Spinjitzu Master has received a few updates too. I couldn't make the minifigure hands work on it, so I took some cues from the FSM statue in his tomb from Posession. The cheese slopes on his shoulders cover the open studs and evoke the ZX shoulder pads. The arms are flipped from side to side to face the tiles on the outside. I also added ball joints for the hands. As mentiond earlier, I removed the banners from the back. The hands have jumper plates on the inside. I got some use out of the attachment point too. It makes a good spot for this capture the flag point. The sky arena is smaller than in the show, but big enough for my needs. It's also more lethal due to the absence of guard rails. I put some thrusters on the underside. The medium platforms have them in the show, I didn't see any on the gauntlet from the Lloyd vs Zeatrix fight. A 2x8 plate helps to secure the sky arena to the main platform. The small platforms are from the original set, I made a third one to use for Roby. The champion's podium was a late addition, I still had some parts left from the drum. It fits nicely on main platform. The Elemental Cup was made shortly after aquiring the set. The use of mech fingers really made it come together. Let's finish off with some matches. Thanks for checking out my post :)

Hi, this is my second MOC and first Ninjago City module. It’s a 32x32 baseplate with a height of 75 cm (2.5 feet) and a piece count of around 6500. Features: A large, lavish hotel with a "Ninjago Movie-esque" sign written in ninjargon (it simply says "HOTEL") A beach with an ice cream shop and springboard "I ❤️ NC" souvenir stand where you can buy ninja figurines, shirts, plush toys and more Thai restaurant with outdoor seating Air scooter rental (inspired by the jewelry thief from Ninjago City Gardens)

Long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master, by using the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu: The Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, and the Sword of Fire. Weapons so powerful, no one can handle all of their power at once. When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them. A Battle Between Brothers broke out, and the oldest was struck down and banished to the Underworld. Peace returned, and the younger brother hid the weapons, but knowing his older brother's relentless ambition for power, he placed a guardian to protect them. And for fear of his own demise, a map for an honest man to hide. That honest man was your father. The older brother is Lord Garmadon. And I need to find those weapons before he does. Happy 15th anniversary Ninjago. Go ninja, go. Thanks for checking out my post :}

"I spy, something... white." Even though it only appeared in for about one minute in the Ninjago series pilot, I've always thought that this ship was really neat, and it definitely was a lot of fun working on replicating it in the brick! A few close-up shots: A small interior: And the ship by itself: This ship is found at the very beginning of Pilot Episode 3 (or 2, depending on how it is counted), King of Shadows, and the only purposeful deviation I've made from the original ship itself is that the bottom is reddish brown here instead of dark brown, since that was, well, essentially impossible given my bricks! This is also a warm-up to the theme as Kai and I plan to do a large-ish Ninjago collab shortly. Credit goes to Grant Davis and Eli Willsea for the water technique! A last couple of shots: Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!

Ninjago in the same universe as Exo-Force ?
Guest posted a topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hi everyone ! It's not new that Lego likes to make easter-eggs between many themes, letting us guess that they belong to the same universe. (I think of Vladek being an ancestor of Ogel and Solomon Blaze being an Ultra Agent and part of the Galaxy Squad) But a friend of mine just had the Ninjago Salvage Mech for christmas and has noticed that the symbol on the left thigh is the exact same as the Exo-Force Stealth Hunter. What do you think ? Simple logo re-use or the themes are in the same universe ? Makes a Triangle symbol with his hands, the eye in the middle. -
Hey there, Long time since I've post something over here... Had a busier time and just didnt complete my builds . But for the Legoworld Utrecht event, I've completed a few builds where this ninjago-style swamp city is one of them. As a castle builder, I wanted to build an asian/japanese build for a while now, to try to create another shape of roofs and style... You may decide if I succeeded Hope you enjoyed, and C&C is always welcome! Jaap

Bought some LEGO Ninjago Anacondrai Battle Mech polybag 30291 polybags since they went on sale in our area. I thought they would make good battle mechs for my Goblin minifigures. When I did a straight up build I was put off by the purple parts so I decided to modify the build and made 2 variations: Calling this the "Bobcat" Calling this the...uhmmm... "Chicken" I have another polybag but I could not think of another design. Any of you here got any alternate builds for this poly? Thanks.

I have this little Takaway Diner now for quite some Time serving Food to passing by Minifigs but somehow forgot to make Pictures of it.So finally here it is,my Ninjago City - Noodle Imbiss. It´s a small Corner Building with quite a fancy decorative Roof and a huge Noodle Bowl Sign with Chopsticks.Despite being a very small Imbiss,it´s always very crowded and everyone enjoys the Food. Sure,it would also fit in the Lego Town Thread, but the Architecture and Visuals of the Ninjago Series and Movie was the Reason i started this little Creation One Day i found a pair of dark blue Shell Pieces and that quarter circle Roof Tile and came to the Impression that those might look nice combined with a small Corner Building. IMG_20180701_120744_1 I got the Idea for this MOC from bying the set "70639: Street Race of Snake Jaguar". I bet i´m not the only one who thinks that most sets that contain buildable bikes have the bikes way too large. Also,i´m more of a car guy and so turned the mean rides from this set into even meaner rides....on 4 wheels!!! Mister E´s muscle car features the same colorscheme as his old bike and the gang, while sporting a spiked bumper, exposed engine and a pair of shakotan exhaust pipes. Behind the drivers seat, there´s enough room for two swords,a place to store one of the oni-masks and a red flag shows exactly for what gang his (mechanical) heart beats. I hope you guys like this MOC, comments are always welcome. IMG_20180701_120757 IMG_20180701_120803 IMG_20180701_120814 IMG_20180701_120836 IMG_20180701_120913 IMG_20180701_120921

Hey all! Was struck by inspiration over the past few days and decided to attempt my first non-construction MOC: a TV show scale Monastery from the Pilot and Season 1 (and apparently next year’s special as it’s been rebuilt). The trickiest part was getting angles right - I took a few creative liberties with the show version as I couldn’t really get the back most building to the right length to scale with the other walls, and I’m only just now noticing there’s a super tall spire with a hook that’s present in the show that I’ll have to add in later. The “dojo” aspect of it is a tad rushed - I originally had plans to make the training parts rise up from the ground and build a hefty part of the mountain, but given time constraints (I started this two days ago and go out of town tomorrow) I just threw them together really quickly. Let me know what you think! Since this is my first MOC using system parts, go easy on me :) The one thing I wish I had more time on was the interior; besides a simple bed for Sensei Wu and a container for the Sacred Flute, I didn’t have time to include some other memorable locations like the video game console or Kai’s mirror/bathroom.

Fancy a swim? Or some adrenaline action? Or maybe a luxurious rooftop party? Then wait no longer and come visit the newly opened Brickastle Water Park (with enough parts for the original Pig baloon too). Instructions available here. This corner modular features two sections - the Brickastle building and the nearby Water Park. In the park you can find an olympic sized pool complete with swimming lanes and starting blocks, as well as a trophy to compete for. There are 2 diving boards at varying heights and 3 sets of slides, each with a different adrenaline rating. We have a clear display for both the time and the temperature of the water (in Celsius) to keep you informed. While you're standing in line to get tickets, you can buy some snacks and drinks at the first booth. We offer an assortment of yummies, ranging from sea food to biscuits. The interior of the Brickastle building features the two booths, one for food and the other for tickets and storing any clothing and valuables (including a safe). You can also find two changing room booths near the entrance to ensure your privacy. The second floor contains the apartment of the Brickastle brand owner, complete with a bedroom and other assorted furniture. It also has a ladder leading to the roof, where the real fun awaits. If you're lucky enough to get invited to the rooftop party, you can enjoy the private pool, open bar and the highest diving board in all of Brickopolis.

Hi, October is an awesome month for me with the introduction of bricktober minifigures promotion since 2017. To me, these exclusives are really nice to collect. Here is some recap of 2017 bricktober reviews by Eurobricks' marvellous golden reviewer @makoy. 5004938 - NINJAGO Minifigures 5004939 - TLBM Minifigures 5004941 - Classic Minifigures Okay, after reminiscing the past, let's look into 2018. Ninjago is the first bricktober released this year, followed by Harry Potter, Jurrasic World and Infinity War. Let's start. Overview Name: 5005257 - NINJAGO Minifigures Theme: Promotional \ Toys R Us (Bricktober) Year: 2018 Pieces: 25 pcs Minifigures: 4 Price: free with purchase of RM199 in Malaysia. Introduction Last year we thought that was the last bricktober but gladly they're not. Now we are pampered with more interesting minifigures with arm and leg printings. Even the fan is printed. Even me, a non-Ninjago fan, feels happy and excited about these minifigures. Box I love the words at the lower left corner. Limited Edition. Which means you won't find them elsewhere other than this box. I think they heard @makoy's suggestion last year about the minifigures being loosely placed in the box. Let's see why. There are some extension of the black mould plastic at the arm area to secure them in place. I didn't notice that at first but when I tried to take them out single handedly, I can't. Anybody reads these? Can't wait to get out of the box! Okay. Let's go to pose in front of the camera. Minifigures Harumi with the oni mask of hatred. Hmm, as a non-Ninjago fan, I've googled the name of this purple mask. I found out that this minifigure is actually a Princess and the story goes on. Minifigure wise, the print of the mask is truly amazing and two sides of the hair part (plume feather ponytail) can become details of some buildings for MOCers. She is holding two red katana, (I think they are NEW!), with an Armor Rock Shoulder Pads. Look at the printings at the side of the legs! I love them even though they are just a few crack lines there! The other minifigure that wearing this kind of mask are Ultra Violet (Oni Mask of Hatred) and Killow. To my surprise, under the mask is a biker's helmet instead of just one piece mask and I suppose the person under the mask and helmet is Princess Harumi with grey head and white band around the eyes. This minifig had the most accessories in this box. As of the prints, she is printed all over. The grey makes her looks like a statue with expressions. I suppose it's her transformation after she wears the oni mask of hatred? Overall, I really love the detailed prints on her torso, arms and legs. Ugly has a new definition now. Future Jay. So Jay the Blue ninja has grown up and become 'Jackie Chan' in the future and come to the present and for what purpose? Hmm, let's don't go to that. He has arm and side leg prints, and he seems to lose his left eye. No alternate face and a blue ninja robe. Hey Gandalf, he took your staff. 6L Bar with stop ring. Mohawk. He looks scary, with a black spiky hair, and a silver coloured baseball bat. One skull face, no alternate expressions and a highly detailed torso and jean print. The tatoos at the right arm looks amazing too! Yes. 2018 bricktober is better than 2017. So much better. Nya. The best minifigure so far for a Geisha looking girl. The prints are totally marvellous and the fan is very uniquely printed. I like the smirk as the alternate facial expression here on a kabuki-face printing. It's not about you. Conclusion As a non-ninjago fan, I truly don't appreciate this set as Ninjago characters but I still love them with so many detailed prints. This is totally worth for money as the minifigures are exclusive and can be used in so many ways. Review summary Playability: 6/10 - Play feature? I didn't see any at the box art. But you can make a minifigure sit, stand or run, so I give it a six. Design: 10/10 - Yes FULL marks for the design! Minifigures: 9/10 - Future Jay is quite simple, and Harumi is scary. Hence the one point deduction. Price / Value for money: 10/10 - Who doesn't love a free set? (I paid RM199 for the other set to get this free, but it's still worth it!) Overall: 8.5/10 - This is a very good set and I think Ninjago fan would love it. Even I liked it very much. I hope you enjoy reading my simple review and do express your comments below. Harry Potter is next. Stay tuned.

This is basically the counterpart to Mister E´s Car, of which both are inspired by "70639: Street Race of Snake Jaguar". The Ice Ninja with the titanium Heart gets a hot rodded, mean looking van that was once used to carry big blocks of ice or ice cubes (the predessor of modern freezer trucks) The van contains many notable parts and design cues from Zane´s old motorbike like the azure blue intakes on the sides, the huge wheels in the back and the falcon shaped mascot above the windscreen. IMG_20180701_121444 IMG_20180701_121506 IMG_20180701_121512 IMG_20180701_121524 IMG_20180701_121537 IMG_20180701_121549 The rear compartment has enough room to store a whole arsenal of ninja weapons. The weapons are mounted on a slide out plate and can be attached to the rear for easy access for Zane and the other ninjas, just in case Ninjago needs some saving and crime fighting. Some of you may remember that last fall there was some sort of dicussion concerning a blade piece, which at the time was going to debut in a 2018 Ninjago set. While it clearly looked like a piece designed with constraction in mind, it made its first appearance in a System set. Some of us, me included, thought it could be a hint that something was about to happen in the constraction departement. As we all know, it wasn't the case, but simply because we were looking in the wrong direction: it wasn't a hint about constraction's near future, but about its near past. Infact, once I got my hands on the piece thanks to Bricklink, I immediately noticed a tiny detail... (sorry for potato quality) As you can somewhat see, the piece was trademarked in 2016, and yet we get to see it only in 2018. But why? Because it was a piece designed for BIONICLE G2's third year. Since development of new sets usually happens at least 12 months before they hit stores, it's highly possibile that in late 2015 designers were already working on 2017 sets, and this blade piece was on of those that was fully designed before the decision to axe the line was made. Since it already was in their pool of "trademarked pieces", why not using it? And there we are. Sure, this is not a 100% foolproof theory, but because of the year printed on the blade and the fact we first saw it only in 2018, I don't think there are many other alternatives. Chances are that we might see more "unreleased pieces" in the near future, since it's safe to assume a huge chunk of G2's third year was already designed when the reboot was canned.

hey, been a while since i've built anything major, but i've finally figured out what i'm going to do for my next moc series. i'd like to build upgraded, full-scale versions of the crazy vehicles from the ninjago movie, as the released sets each seem to be roughly half the size of the movie versions. unfortunately i'm running into an issue in finding reference images of them. the concept art book has some good stuff in it, but stuff like cole's mech in the book isn't the final one (it has a brick built wheel) and the garma-mecha-man isn't represented in its brick form like, at all. any google searching i have done has nearly entirely lead me to pictures of the toy versions, not the movie versions. i'm looking for any screenshots, current mocs or in progress shots, or production shots that are available for these, or any tips you guys could give me on doing them. i'm starting off with the ice tank, so shots of that are the most helpful for now

With the Ninjago City Dockyards expantion coming out in a few months, I figured, I would like to see what everyone else would like as the next Expansion to Ninjago City, I'll start: #1 Borg Tower #2 SoG HQ and Dareth's Bar #3 The Royal Castle #4 Ronin's Pawn shop and Sky tram station #5 Skylar's Noodle Shop
