The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker has been my favourite from the series ever since I first played it in 2003. I've made many attempts at creating a minifigure scaled lego model of the charming red dragon-shaped sailboat. However, getting the shape and details right on such a small boat proved to be rather challenging. In fact, this attempt is the very first one I consider good enough to share . I've created a Toon Link minifigure with Wind Waker to go with it of course. Ofcourse I've made a salvage crane to haul up treasure. What could it be? It's a Triforce shard! To complete the set, I've built a little cannon as well. He's probably a little too big to be proper minifigure scale and I didn't manage to add the neck scales. But other tyan that, I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Ready for an incredible journey on the Mississippi aboard the vessel "Mississippi Princess"? The paddlewheel steamboat has 4 bridges: -The lowest includes sessions for passengers, a sofa and the engine room with the 10-cylinder diesel engine 20000HP -The first deck includes 1 suite, 1 double, 1 twin bedroom, 1 shared bathroom and the emergency room and service. All cabins have windows with portholes. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. The second deck is home to the central control of the funnels and the terrace He sees the presence of a service area equipped with 2 high power LED headlamp for lighting at night and "the BELL ". The last deck on the other hand has a small rooftop and the cockpit. The control center is equipped with radar, sonar and computer. The vessel is equipped with two drawbridges for the boarding and alighting of passengers, both controlled by articulating arms and driven by pulleys. In navigation access to drawbridges it is controlled by gates. The paddlewheel is equipped with 8 blades for pushing. After some time around these newly explored islands we noticed that some stronger defence on the water would be needed; many Sea Rats and even some unidentified creatures which attacked our man on their small boats were around and causing our man to lose confidence that it would be a good idea to stay around these islands. Some even said they were cursed. This made it clear that we need more to defend our island than just a few man with sticks in rowboats. I decided it would be a good idea to sent a letter to one of the best shipbuilders of Eslandola if he were interested in building some sloops to defend the area. He agreed to the contract and went ahead to build this one; I've named it Arkady for its wild nature and, for its size, good armament. It even has some space to carry along some goods, which I really appreciate. Hereby I present you, Arkady, a class 2WR sloop: I sure hope his aggressive bow keeps those Sea Rats under control! And lastly, a picture of Arkadys starboard side: Not exactly relevant for this challenge, but I still feel like it is relevant, the Arkady with the rest of my fleet (including the HMS Kent/War Dwarf which is now owned by Bregir). The HMS Endeavour/Dauntless from the official Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean game. I tried to make it look as much like the game model. Took around 40 hours to build including playing the Port Royal level over and over. Modular decks for easy disassembly. Doesn't have an interior yet. Any suggestions? And when I try to import it from stud.io it says 0 parts on my baseplate and wanted list (see pictures). Want to buy the parts via bricklink. Cant upload pictures due to size limit of 0.1MB.

(believe it or not, but this is the first finished ship I am presenten on EB) I present to you the DMDR 6, a small cutter rigged ship, used as a dispatch runner: I used MSPaint to show some stays as that isn't really feasible in LDD. For pictures with (or without) you can check my Flickr (link in the signature), also some WIP pictures there, if you are curious about the hull shape. (Not a full hull but it continuous a bit below the water. Principle dimensions: LOA 58 studs BOA 14 studs Hull length 41 studs Waterline 35 studs Mast height above deck (not counting the spar for the gaff tops'l) 42 studs If you have questions like, what is she doing here, where is she going, who owns her, what does DMDR stand for. I realized recently that it has been far too long since I’ve done a build for the Isles of Aura. I also have been wanting to get to the tree tutorial that I promised for the trees in my Allanar Forest build. So I decided to hit two birds with one stone, and make an IoA build with the tree on it. Keep your eyes out for the tutorial which will be coming later this week! Dear Journal, I took advantage of the pleasant weather today to explore among some smaller islands not far from home. While I have been to all of them before, you never know what sorts of new plants or animals one might find. My trip was rewarded with the discovery of some nicely ripened mushrooms – dinner will have an extra treat tonight! ~Little John More pictures on Brickbuilt. The commissioning of Cormorant has opened up a new path to small entrepreneurs or adventurers, here we have the Jacques brothers, who have invested their savings in a small cutter, filled it with vegetables and fruits, and sailed away. I really liked Keymonus's boat so I decided to try my hand. The hull measures 34 studs long and 9 studs wide, the hull is shaped by hinges and connected to the bottom plate with hinges as well. It's supposed to be a class 1 cutter, unarmed, it should count on maneuvrability to outrun a pirate. C&C are welcome. Vive le Roi!

Hi everyone, Me and my brother are planning to build an Adventurers layout based on the Desert and Jungle series. My brother will build the Desert part of the landscape and I will build the Amazon part. I have started with the vehicles, because if I start building the landscape, I do not have the parts for the vehicles. I have built several cars (I think 12). 4 of those cars will be used in a town The left car is a little based based on the Island Racer of the Dino Island. I have created one jeep inspired from a jeep of Indiana Jones. It was the idea to make the jeep 7 studs wide. I have created another car and someone compared it with the car of Donald Duck. The focus was on the mudguards. I have created a ship/boat based on the River Expedition set of the Amazone. The boat has another color scheme than the set, but the structure is almost the same. For more pictures you can see them in the Flickr album. Various Adventurers Creations I still need to take some pictures of other cars. I will do that at the end of the week. Inspired by the Speed Champions cars. Last year I built a car showroom to show them off. Al's Autos is built on 3 large baseplates. On the left baseplate the blue and white sign has doubled sided brick plate writing and rotates on a Technic turntable. The showroom has a roller door entry behind the office on the left. It is fully tiled inside and lit with PF LEDs. On the right baseplate the brown turntable also rotates on a Technic turntable. The footpath is designed to match up to the Modular footpaths. My own creation cars are a Pick Up truck with removable Camper. A Ford GT40 reverse engineered from a LEGO YouTube movie. The black Pontiac is a KITT replica and has a working red LED scanner in the front. Next was a service centre / workshop for the showroom.The back section is a parts department. On the right are two service bays. The front one has a working Technic pneumatic hoist. Also PF LED lighting. The shipping containers can fit a Speed Champions car or spare parts. To keep the cars clean I next built a car wash. This has a working Technic based linear actuator to move the brushes back and forward over the car. So after a long day. It's off to the Drive In movies. The diner has a projection room, kitchen, counter, seating and toilet. My own creation cars are two NYPD police cars with working light bars. A yellow NY taxi. The two Porsche 911's are modified with brick headlights and door handles. The ambulance has working LED light bars, headlights and taillights One day I will get around to doing close up and interior photos. -
I like to present you my Lego town Steinbruck. The name is from Stein=brick & bruck(old German)=bridge. First off, I just want to say this set is apparently VERY popular, (and for very good reason!) as I tried in May to get one and the LEGO store was out for a long while. I finally got the second-to-last one on double points VIP points day on the 7th of this month. The following post is not a perfect analysis, but I thought I'd show off what I did to the contents of this set as no reviews are out yet.... though this is NOT a review! This vessel is a slightly modified set 30152,( Weekend Getaways). I removed the tall poles serving as radio transmitters / receivers plus I added a surplus reverse tile to the bridge's computer to keep it stable. The inside is the same as the stock set, with cup rack, stove, sink, tables and chairs. The rear porch and front bedroom are also the same as designed. The ship is incredibly light - more than my similar sized Adventurers tugboat and I would highly recommend it for it's play-ability and cool looks. The rear awning just oozes coolness, and is the one spot where I screwed up. (The fabric holes are just big enough to go onto the pins, not between them and the frame as I originally thought. I nearly tore it taking it apart again, but luckily I did not!) This model was made from leftover parts of set the C model of 30152 (Weekend Getaways) and several pieces from my own LEGO collection. I modified the original design to have four lights for navigation and a gray engine instead of a white one as used in the set. The model seats one figure and has barely enough room for a single standing passenger. ....that's about all I have in regards to this set comments-wise. This 4A vessel was seeking to protect the fleet under it's protection. The captain had seen many battles and had lost a leg to a sword wound a few years back. He knew how to deal with pirates... or so he thought. It was a fierce battle between his crew and Captain Sulu's. But in the end Captain Sulu prevailed.

Hello! I'm sure, that everyone has already heard about that technique, when we use only 1x2 plates or bricks to creat curves. I wanted to try it, too. The result is here with 100+ 1x2 bricks, 50+ 1x2 plates and a fully detailed interior! At first please look at my previous sailboat. It was interesting to see the difference between them. In the old one there are a boat hull of a Lego set. Now it was very cool that I didn't have fixed dimensions! The boat has some interesting features and building techniques. My favourite one is the brickbuilt mast. There are four sections in it: -2x2 round bricks -1x1 bricks with stud on four sides and 1x1 round plates with holes on the studs, covered by 1x8 tiles -1x1 high bricks -1x1 round bricks Fortunately all of the elements has hole, so it was possible to put technic axles and bars or rigid hoses into them. Over the years, the design, aesthetics, and performance of commuter yachts became more refined, and a number of yacht-building firms distinguished themselves as specialists at producing commuters. To meet their clients' exacting demands, these yards designed exceptionally fast yachts that were also elegant and beautiful--and of these specialist yards, none had a finer pedigree or was more closely identified with commuters than the Consolidated yard of City Island, New York. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- at 66 studs long and 13 studs wide, this was quite the interesting build for me. The Mohican does have a full interior, but I have yet to take photos of it, so I'll have to edit this topic later when I do. The real Mohican, perfectly restored, is currently for sale in Italy, but it's sadly far above my current price range, so I'll just have to settle for this model. Hello to all LEGO fans. This time I present with great pride this slighgtly biger creation. Concept SUV, Concept catamaran and boat trailer. The whole thing I built exactly 10 months. I know, I'm not the fastest. On the end I am wery happy with the result.For already in the start, I set myself the objective to build it so, that must be all functioning as the real thing and not like a static model. Jupiiiii. I made it. Some pictures of the hole thing. The whole thing is 135 centimeters long and weigt 6.1 kilograms. Pictures of the SUV The characteristics of the car are: Dimensions: LxWxH = 48 x 23 x 17 centimeters weight is 2.8 kilograms Powered by 4 PF L motors connected together in a four-wheel-drive 1 PF M motor for steering The ride height is over 1 PF M motor 2 speed gearbox is over 1 PF M motor and because I wanted to have only 2 PF IR receivers and thus were available only 4 Functions I made a special mechanism over this output for locking an unlocking front and rear differential. Yes very complicated mechanism, but it works. Maybe I'll present it in what specific topic. As already mentioned 2 PF IR receiver 1 big PF battery box And some other features such as, for example, door opening, adjustable sunshades above the windscreen, independent suspension, soft suspension when the car is in a higher position and hard when in the low position. Functional steering wheel and lots of minor fuctions. And some pictures and words of the boat trailer. Dimensions: LxWxH = 87 x 23 x 12 centimeters weight is 1.1 kilograms And does not contain any PF components. I wanted to motorize a little, but it was already too kitschy. Hehehehe It has a kind of fold axis or bether to say a buggy suspension to facilitate the running and manually adjustable front parking leg. And the last thing. The catamaran. Yeah, what I should mention. This one thing was one nightmare for me. And also give me maximum joy and challenge. Yes there was a lot of testing in their own building. Because everything had to be really precise in balance, each gram of the position on the ship influence to on his right position in the water. In fact, I can almost say that I assembled in the bath. And yes I made it that the ship is completely perfectly balanced. Oh yes, i am sooooo happy with the result. Dimensions: LxWxH = 75 x 26 x 14 centimeters Weight is 2.2 kilograms Driven by 2 RC Buggy motors, each with their own propeller Steering is over 1 PF M motor. The servo output via RC Buggy unit was catastrophic, because I wanted to make a more precise behavior and turning the ship. Basis boat are 2 LEGO boats linked together in catamaran. Built for the large miscellaneous category of the 14th Colossal Castle Contest. The scene was inspired by this image. It took about 2 weeks to build, and weighs 24.8 pounds, making it my largest solo build ever. Setting up the buildings layout and connecting them via bridges was the most challenging part, though the rockwork was most time consuming to build. Qasr Albahr is a large trade citadel in the Spice Islands of Kaliphlin. It serves as a hub of the trade between the islands and mainland Kaliphlin. Old Fishing Store – Modular creator Building The Story My story for this modular building was that the Old Fishing Store is based upon a Sea Front village Theme. I liked the old Fishing villages so I built this one on Lego Digital Designer (LDD). I really believe that this model could have a lot of genuine interest to fans of Modular an creator sets. This is the first of a series of modular creator buildings that I will be making. Summary The building consists of roughly 2160 parts and three floors: the main store, office, and lookout. I used the colors brown and sand green that gives it a realistic feeling. Four Mini-figures could be added such as a two fisherman, the store keeper, one captain. And a lot of details. The idea was to use also the ferry of a near town (Caminha, north of Portugal - google pics) as a source of inspiration, mainly in the color scheme and overall shape. I really believe that this model could have a lot of genuine interest for fans of my Sea front Village sets. This is the second of a series of modular (creator} buildings that I will be submitting. Summary If you're looking for trusted boat repair in Sea Front Village you've found the right place.
