Hello, this is my first proper thread so forgive me if it’s a little amateurish in layout. With that said i’d like to begin by saying i’ve been working on this project on and off for a few years to get my 75054 AT-AT walking, having tried out the mechanism for the official LEGO walking AT-AT i’ve found that it is not stable enough nor satisfying. Since then I have been through multiple iterations of trying to get each leg moving but with only one off the ground at a time. As you can see in the pic from DK’s StarWars Vehicles book the mechanism for connecting and moving the lower leg relative to the upper leg seems to be similarly joined enough that it can be replicated using a linkage but making those linkages move in the correct sequence is the difficult part. The ankle on an AT-AT keeps three legs at a time level in the ground as well as lifts one other leg by moving it up when it takes a step. Here are some of my attempts: These two images use two sets of half beams to raise, lower and flatten the beams holding the leg, allowing up down movement, connected to the lower half beams are some linkages to move the leg back and forth, the fault of this one is it was not smooth nor stable. front Back (blue and red beams provide strength) This mechanism uses clutch gears going in a forward direction to move the bars down, half beams make them move up and down in turn, this reduced vertical space taken up, the failure of this is lack of connection points and strength as well as clutch gears probably not being able to support the weight. This was the most promising one, strong too but was unfortunately not quite walking in the right motion, it was not fully stable either. From further study I have noticed that the legs only bend in one direction so i’ve placed a stopper on each one to mimic this, I imagine this will add to the challenge. But i’ve seen people on eurobricks work magic with technic so I figured I should ask here for some help to find a solution.

Hi all After only getting four kits in the Microfighters series 4 I decided to have a go at adding to the range myself, starting with 'Rogue One' itself. So here's my micro MOC of the Imperial Cargo Shuttle. It's 12 studs long, 6 wide with the wings up and about 16 wide with them down, 105 pieces at last count. I experimented with a few different builds and the trickiest parts were making the wings strong without too many plates and the orange cargo 'pod'. I had a nicer looking cargo pod using some curved corner bricks but it was hard to make the rest of the build strong so I had to go for slopes and brackets instead. I kept the colours mostly dark grey with some light grey for the wing markings and also a few touches of dark tan, just to add a bit of dirt and break up the shape a little. The pilot is from the Battlefront battlepack but he's close enough to one of the Rogue One soldiers for the moment. That's it - hope you like it, all comments welcome. The Kyber Smugglers After Order 66 and the fall of the Galactic Republic, any remaining Jedi were forced into hiding out of fear of being hunted by the Empire. However, the universe is vast, and many force-sensitive individuals found themselves studying the ways of the Jedi in secret. The need for lightsabers grew, and so, a ragtag group saw an opportunity. Formed in the shadows initially as a small operation by Ghell Mollin and Kiri Vane, their team quickly expanded as more and more force-sensitives made their presence known across the stars. However, don't get it wrong: The Kyber Smugglers aren't heroes. They don't discriminate; Jedi, Sith, somewhere in-between – as long as you're willing to pay, they'll scour lost worlds for the elusive Kyber crystals needed to create the legendary blades. From left to right: "The Smith" (Yona Rito), "The Seer" (Kiri Vane), "The Wildcard" (Delkin Dadrick), "The Pilot" (Ghell Mollin), "The Negotiator" (Oran Tallo), "The Brute" (Corzan Ka'tal), "The Mule" (L1-VT) "The Smith" - Yona Rito Yona Rita, nicknamed "The Smith," is a highly-skilled lightsaber craftsman. She was brought on early in the group's formation when it was realized that simply delivering Kyber crystals wasn't enough for the Smugglers' clients. Many of the people Ghell and Kiri encountered couldn't craft their own blade. Yona was making high-tech weapons for the people of her war-torn planet before meeting Kiri in a seedy bar, who offered her a way offworld in exchange for her services. Yona agreed, and now takes pride in the work she does. She tends to keep to herself in her workshop, but if you ever get on her bad side, just know she's prone to using her own blades in a fight! "The Seer" - Kiri Vane Kiri Vane, more commonly known as "The Seer" by strangers, is one of the founding members of the group. She grew up on a backwater planet in the Outer Rim, and while never trained as a Jedi, she has a deep connection with the force. She can sense other force-sensitive individuals, although she's never had the desire to seek out others like her (It has caused her to cross paths with an Inquisitor on one occasion, resulting in the loss of her arm). However, she can also use this ability to sense Kyber crystals, which caught the attention of Ghell. While intoxicated one night, she spilled her secret to him during a game of Sabacc, and thus a scheme was born. The rest is history. While on shore leave, she still can be found frequenting any local establishments for a drink. "The Wildcard" - Delkin Dadrick Delkin Dadrick, nicknamed "The Wildcard," is a ex-mercenary who is quick to start a fight, but his somewhat reckless nature has been known to save the Smugglers' butts on many occasions. He acts as protection on any mission, staving off any opposition the group meets along the way. He's armed with a custom Amban sniper rifle acquired from one of his previous marks, which he's since modified to his own liking. He also wields a vibroblade that Yona gifted him. He seems to be in the game only for the money, although Kiri suspects (she knows) he has developed a soft spot for Yona. "The Pilot" - Ghell Mollin Ghell Mollin is fittingly referred to as "The Pilot" by the rest of the Smugglers, seeing as he owns and pilots the ship used for their operation. He is the other founding member, and believes he is providing a service to the galaxy that no one else can provide. He is scrappy and nimble, allowing him to out-maneuver any bandit ships they might come across, and is also skilled in blaster combat. He can be a reserved and cold individual, leading to Kiri stating he's "a hard blue macaron to crack." However, he has shown that he cares deeply for his crew and is most at home aboard his vessel. "The Negotiator" - Oran Tallo Oran Tallo is a former diplomat from Coruscant, who, after the fall of the Republic, found other uses for his skills... in the city's underworld. This charming fellow will talk your ear off about anything, much to Ghell's annoyance. However, he is a vital member of the group, having acquired a vast number of contacts from his time rubbing elbows at luxurious Coruscant parties. He always has potential clients lined up, and with his charisma, he is ready to sweet-talk any potential buyer into a deal they can't refuse (hence his moniker "The Negotiator"). "The Brute" - Corzan Ka'tal Not much is known about Corzan Ka'tal or his life before joining up with the Kyber Smugglers. He is the last of his people and a creature of few words. He was recommended to Ghell by Oran, having served as Oran's bodyguard during his time in Coruscant's underbelly (Getting through to him is a testament to Oran's sharp tongue). Strong and stoic, he wields a hefty metal hammer tipped with electro-static barbs used for paralyzing any unlucky victims. Due to his barbaric fighting style while in combat, Dadrick dubbed him "The Brute." No one objected. Most fear him on sight alone, and this is enough reason to keep him around. "The Mule" - L1-VT L1-VT is a loader droid, often referred to as "The Mule" due to his specialty in moving large quantities of cargo quickly across any terrain. He assists the Smugglers by extracting and carrying the loads of Kyber crystals they come across. He's no stranger to combat though, using his mounted arm cannon to fend off any enemies. That being said, he is a big target, as the blaster holes in his head show. He tends to spend a lot of his time with Yona in her workshop as she creates her sabers (She also enjoys patching him up after chaotic missions).

I stated this project back in early 2023 in conjunction with BrickVault. It proved to be a much more challenging build than I had anticipated as the original finish goal was 2024. My first hurdle was the lack of official references for this ship, I ended up CADing out the entire thing from scratch using whatever screenshots and info I could find. While doing this I learned that even this version of the ship had multiple variants, as the one used by Bo-Katan in season 3 differs from the one used by the other Mandalorians & the one shown in season 2. The next challenge was obviously the wings and the rotation mechanism, it was a nightmare for sure, and after an almost 6 month burnout, I finally figured it out. The rest of the build after that point went relatively smoothly? Either way, I got there in the end. This build consists of 7329pcs, landed it measures in at 89 studs (71.2cm) tall, 90 studs (72cm) wide & 81 studs (64.8cm) long. In flight on the stand it measures 78.75 studs (63cm) tall, 92.5 studs (74cm) long & 50 studs (40cm) deep. In other words, it's big. Off of the stand the lower hatches can open and the seating rack can be removed, it can fit 10 Mandalorians with jetpacks. A from the ground up build of the play scale Millennium Falcon pulling inspiration from 7965, 75105, Dario Del Frate and many other custom Falcon's online with interior. Including LDD File for your enjoyment. About a year ago I came across Dario Del Frate's beautiful mod of the 7965 Millennium Falcon and I immediately wanted to make my own. Unfortunately at the time he had not put up any instructions on how to build his and I am not the greatest at reverse engineering so I decided to start from scratch. Pulling from the original 7965, Dario's Falcon and various other custom falcons and sources/blue prints online to come up with what I have to show today, with a few little mods/design upgrades that pulled from the new 75105 Millennium Falcon for the Force Awakens. I also added both satellite dishes for your preference. So this is what I have currently, solely built inside LDD and unfortunately I don't have the cash at the moment to start ordering the pieces and building it. Also I'd love to see if it can be improved upon before I do decide to pull the trigger on building it so I give this to the world and all you great Lego designers in hopes that you would like to improve on it and/or build your own if you have the pieces to build it in real life and let me know how it holds up. Mostly I'm just happy to see what releasing it out into the wild brings back until I can build it myself. Hello I recently bought the Rogue One imperial Battlepack - mainly for the Death Troopers - but was a bit disappointed with the generic non-canon walker that was included so I decided to see if I could re-use the parts to make something a bit more pleasing. That was the plan but in the end I went off-course and ended up using only a few of the parts from the battle pack - and plenty more from Bricklink. The result was this Microfighter scale AT-ST complete with driver borrowed for a larger set. Vital statistics are: 84 pieces, 6 studs wide, about 10 high - depending on how the legs are posed - and about 8 long. I'm fairly happy with how it turned out, it stands up OK and can be posed with the legs 'walking' though it's a little front heavy. The head is mounted on a mixels ball joint so it's got a little range of motion and the stud shooter cannons can be raised and lowered too. The legs and lower assembly are quite straightforward but the head section has a lot of SNOT going on with 6 brackets holding the thing together. It was definitely the hardest part to do. It's nearly all LBGrey and DBGrey but I got a bored of that and put some sand yellow bits in to break it up - tonally they are between the two greys so you can get a bit of subtlety in the shading but it may not be to everyone's taste, I may change them to regular grey. The driver also has a couple trans green plates in front to mimic the cockpit displays, just for another bit of colour. Scale-wise, it's a bit taller than most Microfighters but within the bounds and it doesn't look too out of place in the range - I don't have the AT-DP to compare it to but I do have AT-AT... Yes, I know it's all kinds of wrong but it sort of works.. That's all, comments welcome. I'll post the .LXF once I've brought it up to date with how the actual model turned out. cheers J

I've been working on this build since '7680 The Twilight' set came out in 2008. It started out as just modding the set to give it some interior, and slowly evolved with the continuous advances to LDD. Building this was the driving force behind designing my minifig scaled Delta-7, because I wanted to ensure that it would fit inside like in the show. I've gone through countless revisions to my design, even as far as starting from scratch at least 3 times. With every redesign came more research and I learned more and more about the design of this ship. I learned about a lot of things that never made it into the show. Things like that this ship actually has 3 levels to it, and that it uses an elevator to get between them. That they used 2 distinct 3D models of the ship and would switch between them during episodes, etc. It has been a long journey, but I'm finally happy enough with my design to share it. So into the details; Currently the ship sits at a total of 11,259pcs, measuring in at 102 studs (81.6cm) long by 132 studs (105.6cm) wide, by 37 studs (29.6cm) height (landed) or 84 studs (67.2cm) height (both outriggers extended). In other words, this thing is pretty big, still not as big as the Ghost, but it is the same length as the UCS Millenium Falcon. While I did find images and video of the majority of the interior I sacrificed a few of the unseen rooms in lieu of having more structure to hold the whole thing together. I did however keep all of the main areas, this includes the cockpit, cargo hold, connecting hallway and the boarding area. Comparing my build to the official Lego set. Here is a comparison between my Twilight, the UCS Millenium Falcon and my Ghost. As well as some comparisons with some of the official images that used to be on StarWars.com, I couldn't get the angles exactly right, but they're close enough to compare. And as a final note, I am currently in the process of building this monster, I have been slowly gathering pieces for the last few years, I have about 80% of the total pieces required, though I'm sure I'll have to make some modifications as I go. I will be posting updates as I go, but for now, here are my bins of parts, please forgive the unsorted disaster that they are currently in.

I never had the time to properly shoot my TIE-Interceptor MOD. Now that Imperial Justice has ruled, I can show you this relatively easy MOD based on the 9492 TIE-Fighter set. Brick Shenanigans - Star Wars Hello everyone over at Eurobricks! For the past few weeks, I've been working on a solo man stopmotion animation project based upon Star Wars. What inspired me to do this genre (comedy) was the Robot Chicken series of Star Wars episodes which made me want to see if it could be done in Lego form. I hope you like this episode, I plan to do more but in different themes in the future (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones etc). Good evening, when bricklinking the rebel snowspeeder in 2016 you come across with ridiculous part prices for the canopy and the orange parts. I finished it a few weeks ago white - old gray - old dark gray - yellow and a mild colour mix with light bluish gray especially for the technic pin connectors. Different to TLG Model is also a 360degree display stand which allows to show it different angles and different angles of inclination For the canopy i used light-blue glasses all over, yesterday i ordered some different trans black parts for the front. From what i see the best substitution for the windshield is part: 72475 Windscreen 3 x 4 x 4 Inverted this is imho the only canopy in form and dimension which would and be a good substitute. But what about the roof hinge, so far i use a white one, it could be decorated with "trans-black tiles 1x2" or and this is what i decided, i use 2x tile hinge part: 30350c Tile, Modified 2 x 3 with 2 Clips in trans-black colour I´m open for any recommendations.

Hello ! For my first topic here I would like to share with you a small thing I made that proved itself very useful ! I've had my 31039 sitting at the top of a 2 meters high shelf for a few month now and all I could see all day was the underneath of it. I was quite sad of this because I love this set and it's a very displayable model so I decided to work on a stand to display it. I wanted it to be : - As light as possible - Easy to use with any model - Made of common parts (actually the few parts I had left available) - And most important with ADJUSTABLE TILT ANGLE so I can modify the model position depending of how high the model is displayed. Here is the result : The stand is very sturdy and can handle a quite heavy model as long as it is well balanced on the stand. The model connects thanks to two 1x4 Technic bricks joined by a 2x4 plate : The parts are quite common and the rarest of them is the black 24T (I wanted the stand as black as possible ) Here are some pictures of the stand with the model on display : I also tested it with the 75102 and 75175 and both worked fine with the stand ! I think it can be easily modified to display technic models by replacing the technic bricks with Beams. I hope you will enjoy this stand, feel free to ask any question or suggest any improvement ! Hi, just wanted to show you my AT-TE MOC/Mod, and see what you guys think of it. The set is based off the lego set 7675 but with some heavy modifications. I am open to (constructive) criticism and I hope to get some good tips, as I am quite new to this. BTW, most of those blank bricks, like the two top 6x8 slopes, are meant to have stickers

The blue one is just a simple MOC but the red one is much more complicated as it is motorized and can transform into a landing platform. So... Yet Another 10179 fanboy/project. If you're tired of ppl going for their own Bricklinked falcons, you can stop read here. :) Well, I think I have more to say about it than "now it's my turn" but be advised - it IS about me trying to get myself a 10179. My first dream came true, the 10134 Y-wing. It was actually easier than I thought. See further details here: Encouraged by the success, I raised the bar "a little" and am now going for the Holy Grail of Bricklinking official sets, the mighty MF #10179. But of course it is with my own twist. So what's my take on it? Well, for starters, I am NOT interested to pay those fantasy sums for overpriced parts that happen to be of exactly correct color. Don't get me wrong here, I DO want to get a set that is close to the real deal. But afaic the real deal is THE MOVIE and if my set happen do differ from the official #10179 due to my economical restraints, it's fine. I will try to make it look like MF allright, just not as the 10179 MF at any cost. I consider part of the fun (at least for now) of Bricklinking an official set, to try to make it as affordable as possible. To be able to follow progress, order by order as the goal of getting all pieces comes closer. The countdown to Build Day is part of the fun, part of the journey. To make that journey interesting, I try to find solutions to lower the price to more reasonable levels One easy thing is to swap colors. Easy is maybe wrong since it comes down to two scenarios: the expensive part either show or do not show on the set when built. If it does not show, it's an easy choice but on the other hand it can require a bit of investigation to determine if that piece really shows or not. But if the piece(s) show, it's more a matter of choice - will another color be worse or better or equally visually? Things like that. Another, more intriguing thing, is to replace parts or constructs with other, more affordable alternatives. I did this on 10134 and am not afraid to do it on this set too. On area that could be target for redesign is the engines where those two LBG boat mast riggings go. I simply do not want to pay what they cost. My first and most obvious choice here is to skip the rigging, it looks pretty damn cool anyway. Other options include the black ones, after market versions but I do not exclude custom solution too. The neat thing is that I don't have to decide until I decide. The model will look awesome no matter what. Being a programmer by profession I could not resist hacking my own tools to make the collection of parts more fun. First and most obvious part was to add something useful to the rather limiting tools in Bricklink. Bricklink is good for ordering and finding pieces to order, but it stops there. I want to keep track of progress and price over time. And i need lists to have in handy when I count pieces in new orders. To do this with pen and paper as I did with 10134 is time consuming and prone to errors. And to rely solely on Bricklink is also prone to errors. GS_10179_01 GS_10179_02 I swiftly hacked a Google Sheets document (see attached screenshots) to fulfill my needs. I quickly realized I needed a way to import Wanted Lists or at least Set Inventories to those sheets. The latter part was easy since it require no login. So my sheets support (via custom menu) import of set inventories, with pics and all. However, I wanted to have support for Wanted Lists too, but those require login. Me being impatient did not find an easy solution to do that with Google App Scripts (it IS doable but I did not want to spend time finding a solution) so a promptly hacked another tool together - a windows forms app that can login to Bricklink and retrieve my wanted list(s) and present them in a grid, where I easily can export them to clip board, excel or file. In a perfect world I'd make those tools as one, but this was the easiest way to do it for me atm. GS_10179_03 So. I've spent about 6 months since I first started this project, but it was rather recent I begun ordering pieces for real. So far, I'm up to about 40% of the pieces at the cost of about 200 Euros. However, there are some expensive pieces left, so the price per piece count will go up - even if I try to find alternative solutions. Please free to pop by this thread for updates in the future. Hello from France Guys ! I'm Bricks Feeder and it's my first topic on Eurobricks! :) I show you my MOC of the TIE Advanced Prototype (aka The Sith Inquisitor's TIE) seen on the SW Rebels series. I will make some pictures of my advance in the future but for the moment, I give you some videos (of my YouTube Channel) of my prototype on LDD. This MOC is based on the original LEGO set 75082. The "wings" were directly inspired by this forum on Eurobricks (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index...). I'm trying to build a "cool" Interior of the cockpit. For that point, I'm inspired by the awesome TIE Fighters short film. I'm trying to be "accurate" but it's difficult when you found pictures of a subject with different "shapes" or variations of shape between them. So I based my model on the first appearance of this fighter in the Rebels Show... I made a second version with some upgrades of the articulations of the "wings" to get it stronger. Moreover, I change all the back! I'll continue to work on it. I am not satisfied yet ! I'll show you my advance and if I can, the real one! Episode1 This is the first day for me after finishing the Academy as a Trooper, ... a Stormtrooper. I have done the one-year junior academy for cadets on Lothal and after that I had the standard stormtrooper training. Now I'm officially a member of the Stormtrooper Corps and I got the code name: TG-0222 I was sent forth Takodana to an Imperial Outpost to serve the Galactic Empire there. I travelled with a bunch of experienced soldiers, so I was the only one 'shiny' , new recruit on that shuttle. The Captain of this facility welcomed us at the yard. He is a characteristic imperial officer, strong-willed and disciplined. Unfortunately the other shipment didn't arrive yet, which means our equipment and blasters are still in crates. Our Officer said we will do repairs and cleaning as technician, until the supply come. Today finally the new shipment arrived, so we're lined up on the yard of the Outpost. The Technician brought the crate with the Captain , and then they started divide the guns to the troops. I was the last in line, so I got the one remaining blaster. Somehow it was a non-standard EE-3 blaster. I don't know how this happened, but I now this is mine. After spend a decent time training, I'm very good in aiming and shooting with this Gun, certainly among the bests at trainings. Anticipated this outpost will be my home for a long time, to serve the Galaxy, gain experience and maybe it's just the beginning of a great carrier...
