Hello all, My most recent build is close to home for me as it's based around British architecture - a small town market scene. My challenge was to try and make 3 different buildings whilst building on a curved base and also stagger the heights by adding steps/levels. The buildings themselves I knew would be fairly boxy which is typical of UK architecture from this time so a curved base and some greenery hopefully break it up a bit. The greengrocers and pub have my own signage which gives a bit more life I feel. The building at the rear has the least techniques as it was built last and I knew most would be hidden. The bay window and few window lintels were a bit of a pain to make the math work but I'm fairly pleased with the result. Anyway, a couple of shots; As usual any questions about the build welcome. Steamcroft is a small town. The citizens produce their own food and creating machinery for exploration and everyday use. In steamcroft lives a inventor. He's busy designing machinery. This machinery will be assembled in the large factory. There's a multi-level home for de citizens. The discoverers have their own Discoverers Lodge. Robots are working in the factory and maintaining the garden and the greenhouse. At the left side of the factory, there's a coal mine. The coal will be used in the factory and as fuel for the machinery. Pictures: Town Square. Tracked vehicle. Garden. After being inspired by part of Toy Story set 7594 (Woody's Roundup), I present to you this train station for my Wild West 1860s / 1870s layout, specifically for the town of Hope Springs. This town (in my head canon) is the setting for the old TV show seen in Toy Story 2. The set's building was modified in length, width, and colors with a three-track long platform on which the station master is currently standing. As with all my Western buildings, the MOC is open-backed for access to the inside details. The lower level of the station features a bench and cash register for ticket selling. Upstairs in the office we find an old-time opening safe for ticket money, desk with a red-lensed lantern, a swiveling chair, and a cast-iron stove for heat. Since this is a set based on 7594, and because I decided to use the figs from that set in my town, so I updated the figs to modern standards to better match the other mini-figures. Jessie (on left) and Woody (in middle) are the modern official LEGO figs, whereas Stinky Pete the Prospector (on right) is the figure that is new. (He uses the official Prospector's torso from 2010, mid-length blue legs, the short white beard from DC's Mighty Micros' Doomsday figure, the hat from the CMF S12 Prospector, and finally Leonardo Da Vinci's head.) I did this as Stinky Pete has never had an updated release of his figure since 2010.... which means he's long overdue for a remake, which goes doubly for the set he came in! Thoughts? -
Hello all at EB. I've completed my last MOC of 2025. It's an Inn not based on any particular country or style but a mix. I was going to go slightly more modern but after I decided to use the gold window panes it probably has more of a historical look. Might be one for the admins to move to a different forum! Hi,happy 2017! In 2014 and 2015 I post 4 cars each year....in a single post, in 2016 I want to make the same, but i, been a little late, so i post it in 2017 XD. Enjoy my 2016 cars, c&c are wellcome. This one is a little red coupe in "futuristic" retro style, 50´s-60´s or something like that..... A sport pickup, not to old not to modern... A classic hot rod pickup....for all ages :P And this summer I buy some old sets from my childhood, and make some reimaginery, redux. or whatever you want to call it... the firs one is the: 6672 Safari Off Road Vehicle, Aaaaand, a bonus one!!!!! Enjoy it!

I haven't had much time for building this year so I'm going to declare my London-style hat shop done (even though it still needs some work here and there). I'm posting it and adding it to my modular street. The first floor is hat shop. The black tiles on the sides are chalkboards for daily advertisements. I may create stickers for these in the future. Right now there is a sale on pith helmets (which are wonderfully stackable). You can't really see in this photo but the mirror piece from the detective office is built into the dresser with the clock. Upstairs is a small apartment with a bedroom loft reached by ladder. You know a building is doomed when you start stealing pieces from it for another project. The interior is in ruins already, but I thought it was worth taking a photo of the facade to share. This was supposed to be a bank or maybe a library or maybe a museum. It's a bit undersized for a modular and that was bothering me. Inspired by this real bank in Staunton, VA.

Hello! I just wanted to show you my minor (tiny) modification on the City set 4200 Mining 4x4, which i made a few years back. I would like to continue work on this, and change the black bar 1x4x2 part with a yellow, or red one. Might put the yellow longboard on the car somehow. Maybe you could help me out a little! Thanks! And... done. Finally finished the hospital and that is all I will upgrade for now, next step is the interiors and modding the green grocer to be playable from the back... which I will leave myself some time for. So now that I am done, what do they all look like together? So i finally got the new 917 919 set, and being a huge fan of the 917 i knew i'd have to mod it to make me completely happy but i didn't realize just how much it would need it. below are 2 pictures top one is mine in front of an unmodified 919 (its 3 plates taller than my 917!) the second is a borrowed image of a standard Lego 917. the drop was achieved by 2 things primarily, first i lowered the canopy down 1 plate, and the second was switching to smaller tires/rims this took off a second plate (it was already 1 plate lower than the 919) there were also numorus less obvious changes inside and out to achieve the end result. My Modified 917 Lego's 917 Front View, showing narrowed front opening and reshaped nose. also the one downside to the older fender, the gap rear of the front bricks Rear View, here you can see i added some greebling to fill out the space better, also the tail lights were removed as the were just way to big on the standard car. If you look close here you can see through the canopy to the driver, he is leaned back a very long ways to fit, and this was a trick. the driver sits so far forward in the real car that the minifig legs should actually be placed where the wheel hubs are located. so the standared chassis has been thrown aside to move the driver cavity forward as far as it could go. also if the helmet is removed he can sit quite a ways up further. simple side by side, you can see quite a noticeable height difference between the 2 cars. So there you have it a still speed champion styled Porsche 917 but much better wheels height and shaping in my opionion, feel free to comment, suggest, or anything. and Thanks for looking!

I am a Classic Town nostalgic and sometimes I miss the real 4 studs models :) In fact I think they are still useful for City dioramas. So I've built this tiny ambulance using the nowadays elements except the wheels and the back hinged door. Hello fellow Eurobricks members, I've been working on my latest MOC the last few weeks - 'Visit the RIVIERA'. A MOC based around a marina with a southern European influence. There is a small wedding shop, a bell tower, and restaurant on the ground floor with tables outside around the marina where fishermen bring in their catches. A previous European styled MOC - Piazza Maria had bright colour combinations and perfect smooth rendering on the buildings so this was an excuse for me to try my hand at something that looked a little more weathered! Hello EB members and all! I put together a quick build (Quick for me - 1 month!) whilst I was waiting for a delivery for another project and got pretty into this 1930's Art-Deco themed hotel MOC. I very much enjoy doing interiors and this was a good excuse to have a go at some new SNOT techniques - for me. The new rounded tiles were a great alternative to an otherwise straight patterned floor. It was also fun to go with some darker colours for a change, although I found them very difficult to photograph with all the reflections. Shout out to @timmyc1983 - I stole the name for the hotel after your town layout, I suppose every town needs a hotel though! Thanks again! Here it is, my fourth modular building: it features two distinct buildings on a 48x32 footprint. The azure building has a travel agency on the ground floor, while you can find an antique shop in the dark red one. The upper floors are essential tourists apartments and are connected by a walkway on gothic arches. Hope you like it!

Nowadays, we're working on the adjacent square, with the goal to complete it in a few years. We will be posting updates very soon. As for the MOC itself, we chose a 1:75 scale, so that it could be populated with minifigs, without being too huge and expensive. The Cathedral consists of about 9600 bricks. Some techniques were inspired by others' works, while some were developed for the purpose of maintaining the most possible similarity to the real Cathedral. Hope you will enjoy! Minifigures need jobs, so I created some industrial objects over the past year. In the picture you can see several factories / plants. From left to right: sawtooth shed, concrete mix plant, dolomite processing, old mining site, big red warehouse/factory and a chemical plant. The second picture is the latest addition to the zone: blast furnace. Designed in LDD first and built afterwards, well almost. Still working on the blast furnace and the dolomite plant.
