    [LDD] [MOC] T-70 X-Wing

Lately there have been some nice T-70 X-wings on the forum so thought i'd add mine that i have been working on for some time but making slow progress due to life getting in the way! Firstly i'd like to acknowledge ScottishDave's recent X-wing, did an awesome job but scarily did a couple of things i was actually working on as well, firstly using cams to attach the engine exhausts. It was the perfect part for that section and i thought i was a right clever so and so using it, that was until i saw it used on Dave's model, i cursed then laughed (and cursed again) He posted his way before me so im giving total props to the man for it. Secondly using a pipe to make the curve of the engine inlets, i was doing something similar but his version was way cleaner so i used the design, great job man, its brilliant! Also the legend that is Mike Psiaki looms large over most X-wings made now so his fuselage is a great inspiration to my model. I tried to make the nose sleeker and with some hit and misses i think i got close. Also the lack of the new screen in LDD forced me to get creative with the canopy, i was just looking for something that added to the lines of the ship and came away quite happy with what i achieved. Although in the process of getting the parts to build this it may change if the new screen can be made to fit in similar style to what ive built so far. Anyway, to the pics!..... [edit]LDD in post #28[edit] The band is back together!
  2. Hey LEGO Star Wars Fans, in addition to this year's May the 4th GWP from LEGO (Death Star II Battle), which lines up with last year's GWPs (Battle of Hoth & Battle of Endor), I built a small scene with the same dimensions for Tatooine: (Unforunately I don't own any of the 20 years anniversary tiles from last year, so it had to stay black) I built a digital model afterwards, too and you can find the instructions here: http://brickstats.de/bauanleitungen I know I'm one day too late, but May the 4th be with you, always ;) Cheers, Aldar Beedo
  3. Hello there! I know everyone's just been hanging out for another landspeeder... right? Well here's mine! This is the first MOC I've designed in studio, made instructions, and then built for real. The process of creating instructions really helped refined the internals and greatly improved stability. More pics and instructions here Hope you like it!
  4. Hey guys! I'm new to the Euroricks Forum and wanted to share this MOC which I build a while ago as my debut here. I think the MOC is self-explaining, as you'll all know the iconic scene from Episode V. :) I also added some other rooms, too, not everything beside the main scene has to be taken too seriously ;) I'm sure, I'll be posting some more of my MOCs here in the future and I'm curious about all the other constructions and LEGO-related stuff I can find here. :) Cheers, Aldar Beedo
  5. This is my Republic Gunship MOC from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The build features opening cockpits, side and rear doors, and deployable speeder. Door design adapted from Caleb Ricks. More images on my Flickr.
  6. This is my very own Death Star Detention Block AA-23 with Prisoner Cell Diorama MOC built of LEGO bricks: ! Minifig scale ! This SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Diorama recreates one of the most iconic scenes in the Original Trilogy: the Rescue of Princess Leia inside the Detention Block AA-23 by Han, Luke and Chewie from Star Wars: A New Hope ... Death Star Detention Block AA-23 with Prisoner Cell features the iconic Security Foyer with 2x Turbolifts, Imperial Lights on the wall, a Command Center Duty Post where the Officer receives the prisoners, 2x Cargo Containers, a 57C Holocam and one fully closed hexagon-shaped Blast Door. The other Blast Door leads to the hexagon-shaped Prison Corridor section which features a removable grid to unveil the Garbage compressor shaft, as well as an easy removable Prisoner Cell Door with hidden mechanism, that leads to Princess Leia's Cell 2187 with the Interrogation Droid IT-0 inside. The Prisoner Cell 2187 features a bench, ceiling with lights, and surrounding wall details. The Prison Corridor is slightly more elevated than the Security Foyer and Prisoner Cell, and like in the movie, you access the Corridor and Cell by taking a few steps up or down. The 180 degree wide open diorama look allows you to take professional shots of scenes with your minifigures, reenact moments from Star Wars: A New Hope or Battlefront 1 / 2, or just display it on your shelf. Recreate Han's funny failed conversation, Luke's first collide with Leia, Leia's Interrogation by Vader, or the Escape through the Garbage compressor shaft! I took very much attention to the source material references for this SPECIAL EDITION Star Wars Diorama, which resulted in this highly detailed and accurate recreation of one of the most iconic scenes in Star Wars. --> Purchasable Instruction Manual and XML-Parts List available in my own shop: https://payhip.com/TheCreatorr You can follow me on flickr or take a look at more Star Wars MOCs of mine: https://www.flickr.com/photos/the-creatorr/ What do you guys think? Please note, that you can get the Instructions for this MOC in my own shop. And even if you only want to know how some building techniques works for this build, you can cleary use my Intructions for inspiration! As we all know, LEGO delivers a huge amount of freedom for building our most beloved scenes from SW.
  7. Hello everyone, Today I present my first build back on the forums in a long time, my first factions build, and my first starship MOC, so hopefully it turned out alright. I haven't had time to get some decent editing on the photos, but I think they will work for now. My build is an Incom Z-95 Headhunter. Set after The Return of the Jedi, I was going for a look similar to the change from T-65 to T-70 X-wing, more refined and new looking than the usual model of the ship. This Headhunter is piloted by the black sun in their escapades, and it is currently docked at a small outpost, manned by old, re-purposed, battled droids, on Tatooine. 8. Repair Station 616 On planet Jakku, there is a great need for places, where scavengers and road warriors could repair their worn down landspeeders. Repair Station 616 is one of them, where people can fix their vehicles themselves or helped by the crew or droids, of course for the right consideration. At this place you can make mostly basic repairs to keep your speeder ready for the desert conditions. Besides the tools ans replacement parts, you could find an old pit droid, a GTAW series welding droid and even some refreshments. People of the station: The building: The speeders: Detailed look on the Ute Speeder:
  9. Hello AFOL's, i want to show you my new Moc of the Imperial Raider Class Corvette from Battlefront II. It has Parts: 1774 Lenght: 32,8cm Width: 16,8cm Height: 14,4cm Building Time: 4 Days I would be happy for feedback.
  10. A normal day on Jakku, when you just want to survive in the desert between giant crashed starships and suddenly some scavengers starting chasing you for your supplies an scrap parts.
  11. Ute Speeder As a scavenger, Tygio Landrew needs a proper vehicle to transport the gartered parts and machines. The Ute Speeder does it well. This speeder is based of a concept atr, that I've found online: I really like the design of this vehicle and made it in form was quite challenging. Here are some of the building techniques:
  12. *Your entry has earned 23XP* After the battle of Jakku and the destruction of the Empire, we alongside the remaining troops, traveled from planet to planet on board of cruisers and corvettes. We lived onbroad of the ships for months, but on most of that, we only got a couple beds in crowded rooms. As we joined to the Commenor Remnant, we continued to serve as a Special Forces Squad. We found an old Imperial AT-Hauler in an abandoned depot. These kind of ships were used to move cargo and Walkers around the battles, and it's perfect for our missions. I've got powerful engines, hyperdrive, armoured cockpit and even a shower for longer trips. However, we've made some modifications to the vehicle, we added a couple more seats to it and a bed too, that makes the interior a bit more crowded, but now we all can sit down in the cockpit and someone from the team could always rest onboard. The other big change, we made, is that we needed to update the navigation computer, to allow us to travel wherever we need. The main place of our Faction is Commenor, which was an Imperial planet like many others surrounding ones. Uquine was a modern Imperialized world with great agricultural past. After the fall of the Empire, a these planets becomed independent, but some place remained loyal to the legacy of the Empire. Usually when we need to go back to Commenor, we are accommodated in a hotel at one of Uquine's main city, Urqanis. This building was formerly used by imperial officers and special guests, and now it's offered to the Remnant. It's funny, how I got the Room No. 2 on the 22nd floor, since my codename as a Stormtrooper was TG-0222. Now this place is the closest thing to be called "home", here we can relax a bit between the missions.
  13. *Your entry has earned 11XP* Recently our high command, received an emergency holo message from Kuat: An epidemic began to spread at several different locations there. This is a great opportunity to help the people, gain more influence on that system and get the support of their leaders at the same time. The diplomats of the Remnant are already on their way to the planet and our and our most important task is to bring as many medical supplies as possible. Foundry was a heavily industrial planet of the Techno Union, later in the era of the Galactic Empire, it was an imperial fortress and the home of several TIE fighter factories. After the end of the Empire, the planet became abandoned and the complexes are nowadays still locked down. Because these factories are huge, almost like cities, there was plenty of medical centers there too. We have a good chance to find the needed medical stuffs and this planet is halfway between Commenor and Kuat. We need to use all of our available ships to transportation, unfortunately our ship doesn't have a big cargo bay, since it was originally a transport hauler for walkers and big crates. Because of that, my squad's first mission is to find a Heavy Duty Container, in which we could we could transport the medical equipment through the hyperspace. Scar Squad is already scouting on the planet. They haven't found a med center yet, but they got info about one of the abandoned TIE fighter factories. These places are massive buildings, with several sections and landing areas, but it's our best chance, to find a proper container. We just received a message from Agent Sugy right now. Scar Squad reached the factory and she sent the location of the factory's storages to us. So now we are traveling to one of the supply warehouses of this factory... Boghi - I thought this whole place was locked down, but it doesn't seems to be. Gubi - Probably scavengers or some pirates did this. Boghi - This whole lock is broken, fortunately they left the door open. Gubi - Let's open the door. We need to be careful, don't know, what's going on inside. Andrysh - It's clear! Gubi - Boghi, is there any chance to make some light? Boghi - The building was locked down, but the backup power supply should work. Let's see the main switch. Gubi - Great, now we have lighting. I believe the main storage room is that way, let's move! Gubi - Here it is, this container could be the proper one for our purpose. Andrysh - There is quite a big mess here. Boghi - It looks like, most of the crates are empty. Andrysh - But at least the container is empty too, so we don't have to unload it. Gubi - The situation here is getting more and more interesting. Who needs so many replacement parts for TIE fighters? Gubi - As we now have this container, we need to open the big door of the warehouse and get a carriage to move this thing. Boghi - Probably we should check the control room upstairs. Gubi - Agree and maybe we could learn, what happened really here. Then let's go. Boghi - It looks like they have been here too. Gubi - Can you turn on the system? Boghi - I hope, I can. It should work with the backup power supply. Boghi - Yeah, it's working, I'm in. And... Done. The door is open now. And I have access to security recordings too. Gubi - Good. What can you see? Boghi - It's hard to tell, it's quite old equipment. I see a ship. It looks like the corvettes was used by the Rebel Alliance back in the day. Andrysh - Could it be the New Republic? Boghi - Negative. This is black and yellow coloured. And I see an insignia too. Gubi - What is it, pirates? Boghi - I just checked it in our datebase. This one is looks the most like the insignia of the Mining Guild. Gubi - Of course, I should have known. The Mining Guild was once really close to the Empire and they are useing TIEs still nowdays. Andrysh - Let's find a carriage and pick up that container finally. Gubi - You're right, dont waste any more time. Now we finally have the container and we are on our way to find a proper medical center, here on Foundry.

    [MOC] AT-RT Walker

Hi, This is my first post in Eurobricks, glad to be here! : ) I have started building a Kashyyyk battle scene and as a first part of it is the MOC of and AT-RT walker from SW EP3. A tough build indeed, considering the small scale of the actual vehicle in the movie. Here you can see few pictures of the "draft" model as it is now. I am going to modify the legs with a more refined solution for the joints and also you will notice usage of several different shades of green. I intend to test versions in bright, sand and lime green colors to choose the best looking combination. Hopefully soon I will be able to post better quality pictures with and upgraded walker. You can see pictures in Flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/112685468@N03/46482236214/in/photostream/ and here:
  16. *Your entry has earned 15XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our second mission to Dennaskar was to regain control and if possible recover my former squad. We tracked the attackers to the back entrance of B Dock, an old imperial facility, where the outlaws had set up an ambush. We were prepared. Two squads of stormtroopers and an AT-ST neutralized the attackers. The survivors have either been captured, or escaped deeper into the forest. Our casualties have been minimal. No sign of the missing squad. These outlaws seems to be a breakout cell of the former rebellion against the empire. I will try to get more information out of the ones we captured. It will not be an easy task to get these scum to talk subjugated the Galactic Concordance. Hopefully they are not aware. Until the leadership advice I will continue my investigation from our new base of operation. Cpt. Bannon commands and leads his troops into battle... The outlaws are making a last effort... The first squad of stormtroopers supported by Cpt. Bannon's death troopers... Troops behind cover... Star Destroyers above Dennaskar... Some behind the scenes photos: Let me know what you guys think... :)
  17. Hello everyone! I'm finally here to show my simple modifications for the 75219 Imperial AT-Hauler set. Since the first concept pictures of this model leaked, I wanted it in Lego form. I really liked the overall look and the idea of a smaller imperial cargo ship, which could bring the walkers into battles. When the pics of the actual set released, it received a lot of criticism for its size and colour. I liked the appearance of the set, looked sturdy and I'm quiet liked the idea of the chosed colours. Probably when the build was designed, they had concept arts, where the final colour of the ship wasn't clear and I think the light bluish gray parts with white works well for very light gray, and it looks good with Imperial shuttles and Landing Crafts. It's not as big problem as the color of Kylo's Shuttle. Based on the official images, I have only 2 problems with the model. The first is the technic hook builds to hold the cargo, which is a decent play feature, but nut too accurate and doesn't look good too. The other problem I had, was the fact that only one figure could fit in the relatively big looking cockpit. As the instructions released for this set, I started working on this modification. Firstly I build one of the "arm" of the ship in LDD to see how could I fit the winches. I usually like to the minimum added parts when I modifying a set. When the LDD file for the whole set became available in the Official LEGO Sets made in LDD, I used that to finalizing the arms and started to make more room in the cockpit. I wanted to make big improvement with as fewer changes as possible. So here is it: Tutorial Winches Here is the original build at the beggining: For this modification you'll need this coupple parts. The first move is to remove the whole technic mechanism, which is part of the main play feature. For that, as first step, the plates from all three sides of both arms needs to remove. After that you could take apart the technic axles inside. I'll use a couple of pieces from the cargo, which is included in the set and spare parts as well. And here are all parts from the technic mechanism. The next step is to installing the string and the winch system, so firstly you secure the hooks to both strings with a knot. Than you have to lace through the string in the holes of the two light bluish gray L shaped pieces. You need use only the first two holes, after that you could pull the free ends of the strings out to sideways. The next thing to build is the winches, and its needs these parts. As the space is limited, we need the smallest parts what could use for its task. Because of that, the red technic bush will be our winch drum. You could lace the string trough the two opening of the bush and then you could put it on the axle. For placing this small assembly the long gray technic brick need to be removed from its place. You put together the two part and then you secure the winch drum with two light gray 1x3 liftarm and one small gray bush. You put back the whole thing to the arm and do the same thing on the other side. After that the plate sidings could go back to the sides of the arms and the you can put the steering wheel pieces to the dark gray axles. So here is the ship with the working winches, you could operate them by turning the steering wheels on the sides of the "wings". In the next step we remove the bigger technic panels and need to chang the position of the technic pieces on it. After you put back it to the underside of the wings, you can see that these change not only moves them down by 1 brick, but it becomes a stop to the wings, when you fold it in flight position. That doesn't let the wing to fold the wings to low, wich was another big problem of the original model. On these two pics you can see how the original one(left) is much lower than the modified one(right) Than comes a couple small details. You can add the smaller technic panels to the bigger ones and put dark gray pin connectors to the four exposed tan pins of the landing gears. And these parts can use on the front ends of the wings. Cockpit The problem with the cockpit is that it's designed to be very sturdy and solid, but unfortunately that makes the inside small. The main thing you could do is lowering the floor of it, but for that we need to take apart the whole structure. From the side panels we have to take off the black curved pieces, because they are in the way of the figures arms. The next thing to do is to put the gray wedges to the insides of the sidepanels from the outsides of them. OntThe original design, when you close the roof of the cockpit, it moves the sides out. With the wedges inside makes the side panels to reach the windshield and the distance between them allows the roof to fold properly. After the cockpit is completely taken apart, we need to rebuild its floor. With lower floor and thinner sides, we could fitt more figures inside, so we add a couple smal black panel pieces from the cargo container build and these will be our seats. In the original set the stickers for the controplanels is placed on a slope and on a tile, but I wanted to use two slopes(inspired by the cockpit of the set 75094), so I placed the sticker on a 2x3 black slope instead of the tile. After the floor is finished we need to rebuild the ship the same way as we disassembled it. So here is the final model. I'm very satisfied with this model. The winches working good and the look of the ship improved well. The cockpit could fit four minifigures total, it's a little bit crowded, but does its job. You could operate the winches very easy and with the two hooks you can lift up a lot of different things. If you needs mor stability to your cargo, then you can pull out a loop of the strings at the bottom of the wings, and you could hook those loops to a couple added pieces. Comparison with the oroginal(left): These are the leftover parts from the set: I didn't want to put the stickers to the cargo container, because they are such a cool designs and I want to use them in further MOCs, so I placed them on a couple of tiles. I really hope, you liked this small modification. The only thing, that I'm planning to design is a technic structure, what can grab the latest AT-ST. You can find my full album: Here
  18. Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: We were tasked with the covert recovery of a high profile Imperial container. The content of the container is 'need-to-know' I'm told. Obviously I don't need to know. Intel pointed to the last known location in a star destroyer wreckage on the planet Jakku. We encountered heavy rebel resistance, and lost most of the squad. The mission was successful. Two survivors, recovery of the container, elimination of most rebel resistance, and extraction from Jakku. The rebels have barricaded themselves, and are making a last stand at the end of a star destroyer corridor. Cpt. Bannon: "The rebels are pinned down. Cover me!" Cpt. Bannon charges a thermal detonator and gets ready to put the remaining rebels out of their misrable lives. A two-section hallway from a star destroyer wreckage. I tried to tilt the entire MOC to give the right feel. A lot of rusty parts and trying to make the hallway look like it's falling apart. Let me know what you think. Also - what do you like most, the version with 'effects' or the version without?
  19. Hi there guys, I havent posted in a while but thats not because I haven't been building, I have just been away with work! I have a couple of builds to share with you starting with this... It is my recreation of the final scenes from Revenge of the Sith. As with all my MOCs I have kept this on a 16x16 base. Here it is in comparison to the actual scene from the film... Quite a fun build this, especially making the Death Star look like it is in the early stages of construction. And I loved the fact I could use the new style Vader and Tarkin (From A-Wing vs Tie Advanced set) as I think they are two really good looking mini figs. I took the figures off for these shots to show the detail on the panelling. Finally, It is impossible to resist a selfie! As always I hope you enjoy and any feedback would be greatly appreciated! More builds on the way!
  20. Hi Guys! It's already 2 months ago I made this MOC but I forget to share here with you so... I show you my MOC of the AT-DT! I let you watch the showcase video. And the quick scene I made for a LEGO Convention. Free PDF Instructions are available on Rebrickable : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-18202/BricksFeeder/at-dt-walker/ Don't forget to mention me if you use this design. ) Let me know what you think about! See you soon!

    Review: 75230 Porg

Hello everyone. Star Wars is an undying franchise in our universe. Have you read the review of The Betrayal at Cloud City by @WhiteFang yet? After a time travelling journey, let's come back to the present timeline to check on this cute little stocky creature from Ahch-To island which appeared in Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi. Special thanks to LEGO CEE and Eurobricks for giving me this amazing reviewing opportunity. (Chewbacca and the firecamp with a roasted 'porg' are not included in this set) Introduction Porgs are native to Ahch-To, and can be found dwelling along the cliffs of the island where Luke Skywalker stayed hidden for many years. They are highly curious creatures where one of them nearly died by looking into the light sabre opening and another one nearly stepped on the activate button. Now they are designed by LEGO designers and being release as a LEGO set. After the official photos were released in the wild, everyone loses their mind in a way that this is a scary and ugly looking creature in LEGO form. That includes me. However, after I got my hands on this set, I seem to start liking it a little. Let me bring you to a journey from the inside of the LEGO Porg. (That sounds scary but it is not, 'technically'..) Overview Name: 75230 PorgYear: 2018Pieces: 811Minifigures: one little porgPrice: £69.99 The Box The front of the box features the Porg with its mouth opened, standing on the mossy rock on Ahch-To island. The back of the box showcased its back and the only play feature in this set. Press on the tail and the mouth will open as well as the wings. This set includes a UCS styled display stand and a minifigure scaled porg. The side of the box has the same box art in a very nice panel. This is at the top of the box, 1:1 picture of the minifigure porg. This porg is exactly the same as in 75200 Ahch-To Island Training with a white half circled tile. There is another variant of porg with grey half circled tile in the infamous 75192 Millennium Falcon - UCS (2nd edition). The Content There are six bags in total with one instruction booklet and one sticker sheet. The booklet is considerably thick with 142 pages in it. The first page gives you the whole idea of what you will get after building each bag. I personally likes to build it bag by bag instead of mixing it all. Searching for parts in a pool of 811 pieces is no fun at all. Haha. The UCS styled sticker. Anyone collects these UCS display stands? You are most welcomed to share a group picture of the stands at the comments area. Found one in my garden! The Build The first bag we will build a rack like this as the skeleton of the Porg. They are interconnected with technic pins and axles. They are designed like this to make the inside as hollow as possible. This fire ladder looking crane is the connector that makes the whole mouth opening mechanism work. It will be at the centre hollow part to ensure the movement is smooth and not obstructed by other bricks. This is how you connect all three parts into a rectangular vertical box. The views of the partially completed build of bag one. Here only the tail will be on the outside of the porg and the upper red round tile is actually the tongue of the Porg. This is when the mouth is open in which you have to push the tail downward to achieve it. When nobody is touching the Porg, it will only show you its kind of cocky face with the mouth closed. After building the mandible and webbed toes, I've finished building bag one. This is the back of the Porg which is the completed build of bag two. Back to bricks and plates instead of pins and axles. I like the use of these modified plates with three claws/rock fingers. It added a lot of details at the back as feathers. Attach it at the back of the Porg. Bag three added some visceral fat and white feathers at the abdomen of the Porg. Very nice use of the curved bricks to create a rounded body in the model of the Porg here. Bag four added more rounded fats and dense feathers at the side of the Porg. Then we move on to bag five which is the wings and bag six, the orange coloured head with its two big round eyes. The combination of orange, white and grey is really movie accurate and looks aesthetically pleasing. You can see in this autopsy of the Porg, the outer details are built separately and attached to the centre skeleton box at five surfaces of the rectangular cube and the feet attached to the bottom. So this is a very useful technique to learn from this set if you want to build any kinds of animal or even a human being with LEGO. Porg: WE ARE NOT FOOD! Final build of the model. It stood up at around 20cm tall and I really don't like the fact that its resting position is mouth closing. You need to do some modification to the build inside the box to keep the mouth open if you feel that it is cuter in that way. At least I do. haha. Looks like someone agitated it. Size comparison with the mini Porg. The model looks so huge! This is a simple UCS style display stand with a jumper for you to put the small porg. Front, rear and side views of the porg. The design is seamless where you hardly see any technic parts buried inside the outer builds. A very nice companion while I work on this review, now that it is here with me, I like it more now as it can be quite a cute desktop display model. A closer look into its teeth. The build is actually quite movie accurate as it can capture the yelling expression amazingly close to the real porgs in the movie. The scale, hmm. Hulkbuster should be larger. Haha Stop moving, you little porg! Just wanted to show how far the wings can stretch but it wouldn't stay. Chewie: GGWWWRGHH... (I'm hungry)... Yummy. Summary review Playability: 3/10 Not really playable but the mechanism is a good building technique to be learnt if you want to build something similar. Design: 8/10 Great design of a rounded fat penguin model with LEGO bricks' square nature. Price: 5/10 Quite pricey considered that only a mini porg is included as minifigure in the set. Overall: 6/10 This is good as a display set and I suppose it looks good if it is placed among the UCS with its display stand especially the BB-8 model. I hope you enjoy reading my simple review and do express your comments below. *Disclaimer: This review is my own opinion as a reviewer and does not represent LEGO official views.

    AT-TE Mod/MOC

Hi, just wanted to show you my AT-TE MOC/Mod, and see what you guys think of it. The set is based off the lego set 7675 but with some heavy modifications. I am open to (constructive) criticism and I hope to get some good tips, as I am quite new to this. BTW, most of those blank bricks, like the two top 6x8 slopes, are meant to have stickers

This is my take on a "Land Speeder" excuse the random mini fig as a pilot!
