AYB 10, is the Hal Datta clan's classification of ugly made up of two B-Wing airfoils attached to a Y-wing cockpit by a TIE frame, and powered by a dangerously overclocked A-wing fusion reactor. The reactor feeds two relatively underpowered ion engines, upgraded from stock TIE fighter engines. The majority of the power goes to exciting the tibanna gas held in the tip-tanks, which consequently lets out an incredibly powerful blaster bolt that can penetrate every grade of armor up to that found on AT-ATs. In addition to that, it has twin proton torpedo launchers in the nose, and two high-intensity rapid lasers in the wingtips. The AYB 10s are only sent into battle when accompanied by either airspeeders or YB-3030s, depending on whether or not the battle is in-atmosphere. This particular AYB 10 belongs to a skilled Duro pilot by the name of Gleska, meaning "free-spirited sky". She lives up to that name by being the top AYB pilot in the entire Hal Datta fleet. Sold as a TYE-Wing from a Sullustan to a Duro member of the Hal Datta clan, this ship has been modified so much not even the frame is untouched. The Hal Datta clan of the planet Dondo Tissmar have reproduced the frame and basic structure of the ship, and are now using its variants as patrol craft designated AY-L4M40 Uglies. The Jacknife, however, is the original. With its upgraded sensor suite and beam cannon on the starboard nacelle and nacelle strut, this specific craft is a jack of all trades. It has been fitted with an acceptable shield generator, and is well faster than the rebel "Snowspeeder" variants due to its use of light alloys and smaller airframe. The thrust nozzles have been bolstered with blast cones for extra maneuverability at high altitudes, and the exhaust grate shows signs of fouling. Slightly slower than the aformentioned T-47 "Snowspeeders" used at the battle of Hoth, this T-47 has an extended airframe, and twin-linked overcharged E-Web blasters on the weapons hardpoints, as well as a weak shield generator. Same as the last, he thrust nozzles have been bolstered with blast cones for extra maneuverability at high altitudes, and the exhaust grate shows signs of fouling.

I'm going to to sell some pieces of my collection so I've started thinking about what sets I'm never ever going to sell. I think I'm not going to sell my Death Star because I had to rebuild it 2 times (because it fell down :( ) and because it's like my favourite set I've ever purchased. It had so many mini figures and functions which caused me to spend hours with it. So what's your set that you're never going to sell?

Cliché Rodian bounty hunter Ronnagond Jarra doesn't always like her starfighters flowery and pastel-colored, but when she does, they have big guns. This is the first of three ships I made for the 14x14x6 Starfighter Contest. The contest's basic premise, for those too lazy to follow the link, is to build a minifig-scale starfighter that is capable of fitting within a box with a volume of precisely 14x14x6 studs (not bricks high, studs high). I chose to engineer folding spacecraft rather than super small ones (chibi scale) that would just fit right in. Observe: Fully capable of fitting into my fancy box, without the stand, of course. I actually had to redesign this one after I thought I had finished because the big gun was originally placed horizontally (that is, with the two-stud-long side flush with the ship's belly) with a technic pin so it could just swivel 180 degrees out from the bottom when in compact mode, effectively doubling the ship's length. However, I overlooked that this nonnegotiable detail boosted the height just over 6 studs (darned tall cockpits) and I was unwilling to reconfigure the cockpit, as you may have noticed that it flows nicely into the medium azure angled slope piece behind it. I eventually came up with the droid arm-and-T-piece solution, which allows it to sit in the box at a steep enough angle to keep the cockpit just at the height limit. The new gun solution doubles the ship's length as before but also increases its height by approximately 30% all while making it...wait for it...20% cooler. Obligatory detail shots: Left side. There's a hyperdrive in there somewhere... I don't build much Star Wars stuff and in all honesty the only reason this is here, rather than in the Sci-fi forum, is because the pilot is a Rodian, but hey... It kind of looks like a letter, right? Oh, wait...it doesn't... not really... ...and I just realized that if Ronnagond is a bounty hunter, how in the name of ponies is she going to stuff any bounties she captures into this tiny thing...? Recently I've been working on modding a 7166-1 Imperial shuttle, and I decided that I should make a new cockpit. The current one is a little unfaithful, so I took a crack at it. The cockpit should be quite small and thin, which I tried to encompass in my new cockpit. Any suggestions and comments are welcome. If anyone wants, here is the current LFX file:Imperial shuttle mods 2.lxf One problem is there will probably not be room for any figs, but it would look better. The underside. Still no floor.

Hi Guys, I'm a (very) amateur filmmaker. A friend and I are both devoted Starcraft, Lego and movie fans and we are hoping to combine the three... So we are looking to make a short film that will essentially be Starcraft but in Lego! Essentially replacing all the units and maps with their Lego equivalent. To be clear, we aren't making the game itself, just a short film that looks as though it is a game of Lego Starcraft and only about 2 minutes long. We will be using digital models for most of the units by clipping out images from LDD and then using Adobe After Effects/Photoshop and Premiere to animate them as if being played. Pretty cool eh? We are on the way with a rough idea of how things will play out but I thought I'd check with the community to see if any of you master builders would like to help out? We are going to start building our models soon and any help would be so damn...helpful! We aren't doing this for profit of any kind, it'll be something that we can put on youtube and we can all share with our friends and, of course, everyone gets a credit! So if you can help with models and .lxf files of Terrans and Zerg/Protoss (we're going to see what's more convincing out of the two before we commit to either one.) then please get in touch! If nothing else it would be great to hear what the community thinks of this (if theres an interest, then I'll keep people updated and share the video at the end!) Cheers! Roscoe

Without a doubt, this topic is about free building. i have lots of ideas but i can't post them all, because making a post takes me more than one hour... And I actually post eight of my creations. i hope you guys can type some comments and help me improve my building skill. Thanks!! First, Steampunk Mech/Walker This one is inspired by the 30230 Mini Mech and 70722 Overborg's walker. And no extra piece left. Second, Sea Monster It looks cute, isn't it!! No extra piece!! Third, battle cannons Let's battle!! No extra piece!! Forth, water mech-dragon v.s. submarine Lovely head it gets No extra piece. Fifth, tower cannon v.s. samurai kai Eye of Sauron fights against a ninja!? No extra piece! Sixth, battle mech v.s. stealer mech Lots of action it can do!! No extra piece. Seventh, cannon turtle and iron anteater Anteater is better... No extra piece. Eighth, half mantis... due to the limited pieces Mantis' claws!! With two extra pieces......... Mission brief: Rebel Pilot Pihlbrick, you will be carrying two troopers to a small landing platform in sector 30T. The area is controlled by Imperial stormtroopers, but a small group of rebel friendly civilians have evaded them so far and are waiting for a vessel to carry them out. For this mission you will be flying the RM-09 Shuttle Transport. It is especially vulnerable when the landing gear is exposed, so try to keep it in the air, in stead of landing on the platform. We have Y-wings in the area, which will be able to supply some air support should you need it. The civilians running toward the hovering RM-09, while the rebel troopers are providing cover against the Imperial Stormtroopers rushing to stop the rebels. (Previously) Rebels were evacuating the citizens, luckely we arrived just in time to counter their escape. It really was close, if we would have arrived just a moment later they would have escaped. I had taken position on a tower to control the battle zone from above with my newly upgraded sniper. I hope you like it. More pictures of the Corellian Freighter can be found here (brickshelf).

So I was in a small toy shop in swannidge today and found an offer for a free 2013 Yoda and 2013 assets poster, enclosed in a light saber tube, free with a star wars purchase of £15 or more. It is a3 in size and a quick look on eBay only showed 1 auction going for £12.99. Has any one else heard of this. It is a very good promotional poster item.
