  1. Iron Man Mark 39, Gemini, Spotted in Crayon's Winter Village! Just trying my beginner hands on customizing the iron man minifig.. Started working on the Mark 39 first as i have transparent water slide decal on hand, so easier to work on white background. The helmet color is done using those hobby spray paint. The rest of the body parts are also spray painted as the paint color i have does not match with the Lego white color, thus if i did not spray the body parts, the helmet and the rest of the body will have different color tone. The masking on the face mask is still not perfect, need to find a better masking solution to it. Hope my first custom minifig pass the standard :) Now waiting for my white water slide decal to arrive before i doing the other iron man design :) Cheers!

    Iron Man's Troubled Suit

Trying out some new things, made a little short with Iron Man having some issues with his suit to test out those new things.
  5. Hulks back and he's angry. The Avengers years ago, sent Hulk into deep space realizing his anger was to unpredictable. Many things happened to Hulk on his journey. Needless to say he's back and ready to say "thanks" to his fellow teammates. Things only get worse when a new threat emerges to take advantage of the situation. Ultron will rise. Hulk will rage war. Tony will loose his mind. A new era is building up, secrets to be revealed, puzzles to be solved, not everything is as it appears to be. Directed, Written, Animated, and Music composed by Tristan Kilmer Cliff Thompson as Iron Man Jarvis, and Ultron Connor Sheehy as Spider Man HyperVoiceActing as Thor, Hulk Jack Renard as Hawkeye Josh Lambright as Dr Doom Special thanks to Wendy Morales, Sejung Kwak, Sara Kang, and Michael Ruiz About the Film: The whole process of making this took about 3 weeks total. The main objective for this film was to further develop an understanding with color grading, lens flares, and motion controlled lightning. Also note that the suit Iron Man dons in this film is the Hulkbuster suit version 1. After it gets jumbled around by Hulk, Tony's gonna have to make a few new adjustments which we may see later down the line... Next months film is an original project I've been working on for a year. All of the films made this year have been test projects for this one. After that I will continue the JL/Avengers story Arc on a regular schedule throughout 2015. 6. Hey everyone. I've recently got into customizing minifigs and I have decided to make my own Custom Minifigs : Guardians of The Galaxy based on the latest GoG comics. This Project will include Starlord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, Drax and Iron Man Space Armor Mk III. ---Custom Minifig 1: Groot--- I've chosen to kickstart the project by building Groot since I felt it was the easiest to customize since he looks like a humanoid tree which does not require any specific symmetrical design. (Note : This custom Groot is more based on the movie version which I think looks better than the comic version) For Groot I've used a Woody minifig from the Toy Story series as the base. The height of the minifig is just perfect to represent Groot being taller than the rest of the Guardians. I then used Tamiya's Epoxy Putty on the minifig to sculpt the head, chest, back, legs and arms. I also used a random extra head I found in my storage while the hands are made from Wolverine's claws. The eyes are actually Gundam Customization parts which I bought from a local hobby store. It took me awhile to get the actual look that I wanted for Groot as not only this was my first time customizing a minifig but also my first time using any type of epoxy putty. Nonetheless,it turned out ok so far. Below are pictures of my Custom Groot Minifig (still in progress). My friend Benny Lee is helping me out with most of the paintjob for this whole project, so I will update on the finish custom minifig soon. For more pictures click here. Status : 100% Complete ---Custom Minifig 2: Iron Man Space Armor Mark III a.k.a Deep Space Armor--- Status : In Progress ---Custom Minifig 3:--- ---Custom Minifig 4:--- ---Custom Minifig 5:--- ---Custom Minifig 6:--- (Note : more updates on my next custom minifigs soon) Hope you guys like this project, thanks for checking out this topic and lemme know what you think. Cheers!

    Custom Iron Man Gantries

Here are two custom Iron Man creations I worked on. I used the basic concepts used in the unofficial bootleg sets to start, then customized from there on out using official Legos. Most of the changes were to add stability to the models as well as increase the overall size. My goal was to build matching gantries using the same black, grey, transparent light blue color scheme as some custom Iron Man Hall of Armor creations others have posted online that I really liked. Thanks to the person who built and posted the MOC Hall of Armor using the black/trans LB color scheme as this is what inspired me to start building stuff other than official sets. 8. Hi everyone. I've just started thinking about compiling a small collection of Iron Legion suits, like the Gemini and the Shotgun. I thought some of you might have good ideas for mostly purist (some painting or decaying is possible if necessary) armours. To start us off, my idea for a purist Iron Patriot for those like me outside the US. Captain America torso, Iron Man helmet, War Machine visor/mask. (Credit to Hulk_Smash for the photo.) What have you guys got? P.S. Could a moderator please delete my other post with the trimmed title? I didn't realise there was a limit.

    Iron Mans Hulkbuster Suit

In my upcoming film featuring the Avengers, I had to come up with a design for a more compact and sleek Hulkbuster suit for Iron Man to use to take on the Hulk. You can check out the suit in action November 1st on my Youtube channel. I went through alot of stages devolving this. It's pretty sturdy and sleek and I'm happy with the overall result. I thought about using a 4x4 dome and motion tracking it with an Iron Man head decal but it didn't look as great. It would make a great fight against *Hint* Hint* Thanks for looking!

    Batman's Bat-Mech

A frame from some test footage of the LEGO DC/Marvel Crossover that I've been developing for almost a year. And yes, it does transform into a Batmobile. A small sample of it in action can be viewed during the credits . I'll have new photos/videos up later this year on the facebook page. Thanks for looking!

    Iron Man 3

Hi all, I've just posted my first Cuusoo creation, it's the Iron Man Hall of Armour from the upcoming movie. There are 7 pods for Iron Man suit variants, rotating central platform with articulated assembly arms, display screens and storage units. I'd be interested what you guys think and any tips you have to offer. Thanks Ryan http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/38458

    My Iron Man Hulkbuster

The CUUSOO project for this build is now up. You can support my project clicking this link: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/53350. I’m a huge fan of the Iron Man Hulkbuster armor and when I started to collect Iron Man minifigures I’ve decided to create one to add to the armory. My first attempt to create a Hulkbuster armor that can be piloted by an Iron Man minifigure is when I got my hands on a Kai’s Fire Mech set from the LEGO Ninjago line. As you can see in the first picture I only modified the hands and ditched the gun right hand design. I was already happy with what I came up with but I was not satisfied with my final design. After looking at the other Hulkbuster builds from other LEGO enthusiasts in different forums I’ve decided to rebuild the armor, this time using an additional Fire Mech set and parts from the Iron Man Ultrabuild set. My challenge now is to create a sleek Hulkbuster Iron Man build using only parts from these 3 sets (2 x Fire Mech, 1 x Iron Man Ultrabuild). Thanks to the additional parts from the Fire Mech the minifigure is now fully enclosed except for the head. I'm also quite happy that I was able to add more design elements thanks to the Ultrabuild's chest armor and the curved blocks and vents from the mech sets. The reasons for me not adding more parts are: 1. I want to keep the costs to a minimum (cheaper to produce and at the same time more (again, budget friendly to consumers) 2. I really want a design that doesn’t tower too much from the minifigures. 3. I want to use parts that are already available to the market (again, cheaper to reproduce. No need to create new blocks). Please support this CUUSOO project if you want this set to be produced by LEGO. This set would look great next to your Iron Man minifigures. For my next project I'm thinking of building an armor for Captain America or War Machine just for the fun of it. It may not be comic book canon but I just want to see a mech with integrated designs from the Captain America Ultrabuild.
  15. Please support at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/63155  "Focus up ladies. Good evening, and welcome to the birthing suite. I am pleased to announce the imminent arrival of your bouncing b@d@$$ baby brother." - Tony Stark This is my rendition of the Hall of Armor, reproduce in 2 minifig scale and staying as close to the original design as best I can. Hopefully with your support this can be owned by many other enthusiast! If you like what you see here, don't forget to check out my other projects: https://ideas.lego.c...ects/58144 https://ideas.lego.c...ects/58146 Details of the single modular unit, designed to be combined into a set of 7. Set of 7 with movie accurate Iron Man suits design, starting with Mark I to Mark VII. Note the single wall in between each modular unit. Should the budget allows, a full set equipped with the center circular stage can be included. Of course, it would be best if the budget allows for the inclusion of Dum-E the robotic arm and the rest of the equipments, allowing fans to recreate the iconic movie scene. 16. This may be already posted here (it links to a blog post from 2010) but I couldn't find it. Sent to me by a friend, so I'm sharing it here. From a blog examining the use of source code in movies. Neat easter-egg in the movie, if true. http://deeperdesign....n-made-of-lego/ Is Iron Man Made of Lego quick quote: The sequence in the film in which this code appears suggests that the code is either being downloaded as firmware to the Iron Man suit or being used to upload firmware to an RCX Lego brick that is somehow involved in the operation of Iron Man.

MOD - Nick Fury's Flying Car

This is more like a "mod" than MOC :) I have finally got the 76004 set with Nick Fury, Spider Man and Venom (I love Venom!), but the green car does not look right in my setup which contains the original Quinjet, original jeep and my MOC Avengers truck. So I just turned it back to the official blue color... And now everything is all good and ready for battle!

    Mosaics from this year

It's been awhile since I posted anything so I thought I would share my current outlet for LEGO, which seems to be large mosaics. Nothing is smaller than 96x114 studs. I have found that working in grey-scale seems to produce some awesome results, but Batman did need to be done in colour, he is just under 5 feet tall (112x192 studs). Enjoy. 21. To celebrate the upcoming release of the Iron Man 3 movie, I created minifig designs for every film suit. (If I left any out, let me know.) Comments and criticism are very much appreciated. This is the official minifig design, with an improved minigun. For those interested, it's made out of a neck bracket, one 1x1 clip, a space gun, and some binoculars. I've got a version that has missiles too; expect pictures soon. For some reason, the helmet angle makes this guy. I also liked the leg detailing on the film version, so I tried to pull out the details there and Lego-fy them. Doing this guy was fun. I'm not sure what he does in the movie, but his repulsor looks like a Roman collar. I imagine him as the chaplain of the Iron Legion. ;) The official Extremis armor, with gold arms. (The three actual minifigs of these that I own have gold arms, so I went with that for the CG version.) Identical to the official minifig. Identical to the official minifig. This was probably the hardest to design in terms of torso detailing, but the end result looks official. I'm not 100% satisfied with this guy, but it's recognizable. This is basically a recolored Mark III with rivets slapped on. This one is easily my favorite. This is a slight redesign of the official LEGO version. This was the longest one to design, especially with the complex torso plating. I actually just finished a Gemini suit render for Solid Brix Studios, but this is a separate design that fits my own tastes a bit better. Whew! I hope you enjoyed them!
  22. We love the Avengers, and took about 2 months to make this animation. Would love to hear what you all think.

    Life-size Iron Man helmet WIP

So here is a project Ive had for awhile and finally decided to share it with you guys and get some input! I originally intened to make so you could wear it, but I got halfway through and released my head was a little big in one spot. Oh well, all leave that for the second one. Here it is from the front, I used a 1 x 10 piece to create the gap between the face plate and the helmet. Helmet front view by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr And a side view, I am aware the side arent done, it is called a WIP ya' know... Helmet side view by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr Lastly a pic of the inside and the back part of the helmet a plan on finishing at some point. The red and brown plates youre seeing across the back is for stability, which I installed after my little sister (accidentally) kicked it Inside and back plate by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr life Iron Man helmet by Total BrickMaster, on Flickr One last less then dramatic close up! Thanks for checking it out, feel free to give critique and point out glaringly obvious design flaws! Peace!
  25. In the Iron Man story-arc, Ultimo is a huge android that was made thousands of years ago by an alien species. The Mandarin has also been known to use the power of his rings to control Ultimo several times. In Iron Man #300, Rhodey puts together the Iron Legion to bring down Ultimo (Stark is out-of-service during this event). Ultimo has been depicted in many different styles throughout the years so I decided to mix some of the design-elements together to create my own version. I do not own any of the ball-joint Lego pieces so making the articulation was tricky - this is also the first Lego robot I've ever built. Luckily, I managed to get movement in the ankles, knees, hip, waist, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and head. pew pew pew peww! I also made an interchangeable head & arm-cannon: Thanks for looking!
