So the sun was shining this Bank Holiday and I took advantage of it to photograph (badly) some of the Marvel Comics mecha that have been cluttering up my living room for the past month. I forgot to add the -Cat. A- to the title...Hope someone can do that soon.. One second Iron Man is fighting Whiplash on a race course. (Iron Man 2) The next second, he is in a hallway on Kamino, watching a fleeing Jango and Boba race to their ship. (SW Episode 2) Iron Man stops them and asks where he is, to which Jango starts attacking this stranger. In two swift hits to the face, Tony’s faceplate had fallen off, and the fight has begun. (Overview) Jango used a grapple to tie Tony’s arms to his side. Tony: Jarvis! You there? Jarvis: Yes sir, 58% Power. Tony: Great! Didn’t need to know that. Options? Jarvis: Activating repulsors. Then, Iron Man suddenly jolted backwards towards the closing door, but Jango still pulled. Jango: Another bucket helmet! See Boba? This guy looks nearly exactly like the other bucket helmet I encountered on Tatooine years ago. And he came out of nowhere too! Boba: Get him, dad! Get him! Jango: Boba, Get to the ship before Kenobi catches us, Go! Boba: Okay, meet you there! (Overview 2) The fight continued, then suddenly, Iron Man vanished right before Jango’s eyes. And Jango paid no mind to it and ran towards his ship saying, “Ah well, easier dealing with this one than the one with the Merc for some reason….” Iron Man was back on the race track and no time had passed at all, and due to his unawareness from the teleportation, Whiplash was able to strike him down. I fit this in-between two movies… Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed! And as always, C and C welcome! ~Beltar

My son received the official Lego set from the Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Hulk Buster Smash - 76031 back in April. After seeing the movie several times, we both came away disappointed in what Lego produced. Honestly it just looked to thin and spindly and weak. I understand Lego was trying to stick to a certain price point with this set but still it was a let down in some design/color aspects. So my son and I this spring/beginning of summer set about to redesign/tweak the official set. Our first goal was to up armour the Hulk Buster exo-skeleton and change the colors to more dark red and gold. We redesigned the legs, chest/abdomen, and back. My son came up with the more functional opening chest/abdomen/ribs that also help to hide all the exposed holes. As far as the Hulk containment apparatus, our goal was to make it more symmetrical, change the color, and make it a bit more playable w/out making it into something more movie accurate. Both pieces now definitely feel a little more playable/displayable and the Hulk Buster Armour actually looks like it can take some hits. Additional Images can be found here: https://www.flickr.c...157654593102405 And here is a link to the original set: http://images.bricks...pg?201502271018

Iron Man 3 (2013) - Hall Of Armour, Module Considering I've nearly collected every single LEGO Iron Man Minifigure I've decided to find a way of displaying them. The initial option was to go for the well known Hall Of Armour concept from Iron Man 3 (2013.) With this I tried to nail as much detail from the movie modules. One notable difference is the scale and proportions. I've decided if they are going to be designed in the LEGO medium it only makes sense to have them evenly proportioned relative to a Minifigure. Now that I have got this primary design off my chest I can move forward with a full concept to display them: -I could simply stack several modules / units on top of each other much like the Iron Legion glimpse we had towards the end of Iron Man (2013.) -The alternative is replicate the 'Hall Of Armour' as seen in Iron Man 3 (2013.) Including the small details seen in the 'Suit-Up' scene towards the start. The problem with this is that there is only space for five to seven armours. Feedback and criticism is much appreciated. I need a copy of 5002946 Silver Centurion to complete my Iron Man armor collection and can't find one anywhere. I've checked every GameStop in my area, and the aftermarket prices are sky-high. I'd rather trade with a fellow EB'er then dish out $50+ to some Ebay scalper. I'd also be open to potentially trading for 5002957 Admiral Yularen. Here's what I have: Retail Polybags: 30286 Christmas Tree 30275 TIE Advanced Prototype 30311 Swamp Police Helicopter 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard 30472 Parrot 30274 AT-DP 30303 The Joker's Bumper Car 30276 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter 30349 City Car 30130 Mini Black Pearl Exclusive Minifigure Polybags: 5002145 Rocket Raccoon 5002125 Electro 5001621 Han Solo (Hoth) 5002948 C-3PO 30603 Batman Classic TV Series - Mr. Freeze Sets: 5004077 Target 2015 Minifigure Cube (Includes City Diver, Chima Wolf, Ninjago Kai, and DC Lightning Lad) I also have a lot of lightly used CMF's, just ask. Mostly S3 and later. I'd prefer to stay in the US or Canada, but I'd be open to trading internationally only if that deal involves the Centurion. Please PM me if interested. I have completed successful trades with fred67 and Legocrazy81 (now Vindicare) who can hopefully vouch for my trustworthiness. EDIT: Freeze is gone and I no longer need the Centurion, thanks to a helpful Brickset member. If somebody still wants to swap for Yularen, I'm open.

This is the closest thing to an arcade style Marvel VS DC game in LEGO. Would you play?

I've had this for a while but never got a chance to post it. So here it is. This is based of the scene in Iron Man 2 when a drone thingy (do they have a name?) Mistaked a kid with an Iron Man helmet for Iron Man and went to destroy him. Unforttunatly, I had not the time nor the Iron Mans to have him swoping in to save the day. I am, hovever, still happy with the way it turnrd out. The Hammer Drone (?) is War Machine with a new head, And the kid is with a Harry Potter shirt that I think matches the film quite nicely. But what do you think? If you like it (or don't ) be sure to comment!

Hi, I am citizen, a teenage LEGO fan from Hong Kong. I have been following this forum for years, especially the Licensed one, but this is my very first post here, as I have just finally decided that I should register an account here a few weeks ago. As an introduction piece, I really want to have something that can impress you, and I think I just had one recently.(Hopefully, it can impress you :P ) So, here...we....go.....wait, wrong franchise! :o Stark Tower - Front by city son This is a creation I built specifically for a contest of another forum, Toys N Bricks. The topic of the contest was to build a scene right off the screen of either the first Avengers movie from 2012, or from the epic sequel, Age of Ultron, this year. As I haven't got the new sets, and I couldn't really take closer looks at Age of Ultron scenes until its DVD release(Can't wait for it!!!!!!). So I started out planning on scenes from The Avengers, but which one? It's a tough choice as I loved so many different scenes, Cap and Iron Man Rotor scene, Hulk punches the Leviathan, the forest fight.... SO MANY OF THEM!!! However the contest set a size limit without HEIGHT LIMIT, which immediately took me to the idea of building something tall, and when that came into my mind, it didn't take long for me to get to the iconic Stark Tower. Besides, the final battle in New York is like the climax part of the first film, so it makes sense for me to choose it if I wanted to build something impressive. :) Stark Tower - Side 1 by city son Stark Tower - Back by city son Stark Tower - Side 2 by city son Well, I didn't shirk, even though the contest only asked for a scene, I still pushed myself to use up all my brick resources to finish off every last side of the tower. One of the toughest part for me in this process is the lack of source materials, as in the movie, there wasn't much close up scenes of the "back" of the tower, so I just added a bit of my own imagination to fix that part. Sad thing was right after a few days I have finished this beast, LEGO Avengers Video Game new gameplay video on YouTube showed clearly how the back of the tower looks like, yet, I think my version can...well pass myself. Could be better though, could be. :( Cap, Thor and Hawkeye 1 by city son Cap, Thor and Hawkeye 2 by city son Cap, Thor and Hawkeye 3 by city son I tried to fill the whole screen up as much as I could, without making it a big mess, so I put something from the bottom to the top literally. Let's start from the bottom. I picked the scene from the very end of the final battle, where Cap and Thor are fighting side by side with the Chitauri Soldiers. Yeah, I put Hawkeye there as well, which has probably reduced a bit of accuracy here, but I thought it will be weird not to include the full team, while Hawkeye was supposed to be somewhere in/on another building far away and out of the scene. Trying to be original, I built those spear-like weapon in a really simple manner for one of the Chitauri Soldiers, not a big deal, but I am quite happy with that little touch. Chitauri Chariot in action 1 by city son Chitauri Chariot in action 3 by city son For the middle part of the tower, I have built two different Chitauri Chariots, one 2-seat and one 1-seat, which are one of my favourite parts of this MOC. I built them in the very last stage of the project, but they turned out quite pleasing. To be honest, I can't stop playing and flying these little vehicles around my flat! Two-seat Chitauri Chariot by city son Two-seat Chitauri Chariot - Front by city son One-seat Chitauri Chariot by city son One-seat Chitauri Chariot - Back by city son Again, for the sake of originality, I built my very own version of these alien chariots. I browsed through the web searching for tons of source materials, and based on those 2D stickers from the official set, I managed to connect all these gold pieces in every last ways I could think of. And it worked perfectly! Believe me or not, I have tried my best to build these blurry flying vehicles that appeared on the big screen shot by shot out of bricks! XD Stark Tower - Rooftop by city son Puny God face off 1 by city son Close the portal by city son One way trip by city son The last part is the top of Stark Tower, which is the main focus of the whole build, and most of the actions happen right here. I have selected 3 iconic scenes from the final battle to be included here. The first one is the PRE-puny-god scene. Well, I did plan on having the Hulk smashes puny god scene in the beginning, but due to the limited scale, turned out it's impossible to fit the man with anger management issue in such a small room. Then, I chose the scene where Black Widow is ready to close the portal, while Dr. Erik is panicking at the back. (Sorry for not having a grey hair piece for Erik.) And finally, the part where Tony decided to sacrifice himself and take the nuclear with him all the way up, even though he knew it's a one-way trip. S.T.A.R.K. by city son Another "S" by city son Apart from the scene, there were a few challenges I have faced through the build, or stuffs that I really wish you can see my effort. First, it's the STARK logo. I have browsed through the web to look for previous Stark Tower done by other LEGO fans around the world, and first of all, all of them are incredible, but somehow I felt like no one was paying the attention that the logo deserved. It's like the most iconic part of the tower, and it's the greatest fun to work with font. I am very very happy with the outcome myself, no sure what do you guys think. The other major difficulty I faced, was the large outer platform with the "S" in the middle. Took me days to find a way to make a perfect circle(almost ;) ), build an "S", and build smaller yellow circle around the "S" at the same time. Another great challenge is the weird curve "windows" on one side of the building. I didn't go with the way most people do, with trans bricks, coz I don't have those...BUT the real deal is all the angles and Maths. Try to build one yourself and you will find it really tough because bricks are not like paper, you can't really curve them up while placing them at an angle but still want them to have a smooth clear cut "straight" horizontal edge at both ends. I'd say it would have been better if I have enough 2x4 tiles to fill the whole lower half of that pile of windows. I really hope you guys enjoyed reading this long boring introduction of my biggest MOC ever, and I really wish experts and master builders here can give me some constructive comments to improve myself, as there is always room for improvement, especially for a youngster like me :P. Really enjoy all the cool posts and awesome MOCs on this forum, and last but not least, the voting is still on right now, so if you really like my creation and you are coincidentally a member of Toys N Bricks, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY you think mine is better than other really cool builds from other contestants then I humbly welcome one or more votes from you! Thank you once again for taking your time reading my long long post! =D

Here are two custom Iron Man creations I worked on. I used the basic concepts used in the unofficial bootleg sets to start, then customized from there on out using official Legos. Most of the changes were to add stability to the models as well as increase the overall size. My goal was to build matching gantries using the same black, grey, transparent light blue color scheme as some custom Iron Man Hall of Armor creations others have posted online that I really liked. Thanks to the person who built and posted the MOC Hall of Armor using the black/trans LB color scheme as this is what inspired me to start building stuff other than official sets. Hopefully with your support this can be owned by many other enthusiast! If you like what you see here, don't forget to check out my other projects: https://ideas.lego.c...ects/58144 https://ideas.lego.c...ects/58146 Details of the single modular unit, designed to be combined into a set of 7. Set of 7 with movie accurate Iron Man suits design, starting with Mark I to Mark VII. Note the single wall in between each modular unit. Should the budget allows, a full set equipped with the center circular stage can be included. Of course, it would be best if the budget allows for the inclusion of Dum-E the robotic arm and the rest of the equipments, allowing fans to recreate the iconic movie scene. 144 x 128 studs ~40,000 pieces The mosaic is made using stacked transparent plates over a black background. My previous outing in this technique used only trans clear. This mosaic sees the addition of trans red plates to create the background effect and portions of the outer ring of the reactor. Trans clear areas range from 1 to 5 plates thick while trans red areas range from 1 to 3 plates thick. There are some opaque red plates used for the eyes and the center of the reactor. Trans Red was too difficult to see in these areas. This will be coming to NILTC's show at Helen Plum Library in Lombard, IL this weekend (April 27th and 28th) Main view Angled - The contouring is very noticeable around the shoulder harness in this shot. Full album is available here.

Iron Man Mark 39, Gemini, Spotted in Crayon's Winter Village! Just trying my beginner hands on customizing the iron man minifig.. Started working on the Mark 39 first as i have transparent water slide decal on hand, so easier to work on white background. The helmet color is done using those hobby spray paint. The rest of the body parts are also spray painted as the paint color i have does not match with the Lego white color, thus if i did not spray the body parts, the helmet and the rest of the body will have different color tone. The masking on the face mask is still not perfect, need to find a better masking solution to it. Hope my first custom minifig pass the standard :) Now waiting for my white water slide decal to arrive before i doing the other iron man design :) Cheers!

Most of us were a little disappointed when 76007 Malibu Mansion came out. It was too tiny a set to do Tony's house justice! Hello everyone! I don't post a whole lot on Eurobricks, but I made some custom minifigs after seeing Iron Man 3 last weekend that I felt like I should share. It was a great movie with some great characters, so here they are! I don't have a whole lot of flesh parts so I made them with yellow flesh, but I think they still turned out pretty good. I also tried to stat as purist as possible. Anyway, enjoy! Tony Stark - Tony Stark after he crash lands in a snowy town. Happy Hogan (1999) - Happy sports long hair and a goatee at the party in 1999. Happy Hogan -Happy's present-day appearance. (This fig could use some work... ) Harley - The science-loving, potato-gun wielding kid that Tony meets in the snowy town. The Mandarin - A terrorist who is more than what he appears to be... Aldrich Killian - A scientist behind Advanced Idea Mechanics and buyer of the Extremis virus... ...and he also subjects himself to it, enhancing his physical abilities immensely. - And here are the two minifigs side by side. - A duel between Stark and Killian. Eric Savin - The gum-chewing Extremis soldier who helps steals the Iron Patriot armor. Maya Hansen - An long forgotten love interest of Tony's. She's also the inventor of the Extremis virus. Pepper Potts - Tony Stark's girlfriend. - Killian offers Stark Industries a place in his company. An altenative suit concept I came up with: - Just made this to kind of make the Lego head seem less massive. Thanks for viewing!

This topic is for people to discuss what people would like to see in the avengers 2 sets (I mean why wouldn't they?) What figures will finally be made into the official category? Will we see LEGO Wasp, Ant-Man, Black Panther or Ms Marvel? Obviously we can't know for certain but we can always guess!! Also this is also a place for people to display some of the avengers mocs they have made of scenes and figures both from comic, the first movie or even made up scenarios!

This is more like a "mod" than MOC :) I have finally got the 76004 set with Nick Fury, Spider Man and Venom (I love Venom!), but the green car does not look right in my setup which contains the original Quinjet, original jeep and my MOC Avengers truck. So I just turned it back to the official blue color... And now everything is all good and ready for battle!

I loved the film Avengers (I mean who doesn't!!) and was so exited to find out they were making lego sets of them that I bought them the day they came out!! I loved the sets but I really wanted to build some extra vehicles and building as well as characters (which I will post on another topic) to play with and put on display with my other sets. This is the first MOC that I have made that (I think counts as most of the other ones were a bit... well... rubbish) and I hope that you enjoy my work. It didn't take that long (20 mins + time to sort out decals) as most of the pieces that I used can from LEGO Agents so most of the Dark Blue pieces were there for me. I was originally making a submarine but I ran out of time. So here it is (I understand the decals aren't that fantastic but the printer that I use isn't that good!!) Side View: This is the best view (in my opinion!) as it shows of the whole of the boat and the shield logos on the side. Top View: I tried to show all of the interier. This is still a WIP (work in progress) so the interier will be improved!! I decided to write a little story to go along with the set (like the description in the lego catalog): The evil members of H.Y.D.R.A have stolen the secret information about the Avengers! Chase them down with the high speed S.H.I.E.L.D boat. Use the jet at the back to propell your self into the enemys base or chase them down on the waves. Who will win? You decide.
